Bulugh al-Maram 9
And Ashab As-Sunan (compilers of the prophet’s sayings) reported that one of the wives of the Prophet (saw) took bath from a vessel, then came the Prophet (saw) and when he wanted to take bath from that (vessel), she said, “I was sexually impure”. He said, “Water does not become sexually impure”. [At-Tirmidhi and Ibn huzaima graded it Sahih (sound)].
وَلِأَصْحَابِ "اَلسُّنَنِ": { اِغْتَسَلَ بَعْضُ أَزْوَاجِ اَلنَّبِيِّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -فِي جَفْنَةٍ, فَجَاءَ لِيَغْتَسِلَ مِنْهَا, فَقَالَتْ لَهُ: إِنِّي كُنْتُ جُنُبًا, فَقَالَ: "إِنَّ اَلْمَاءَ لَا يُجْنِبُ" } وَصَحَّحَهُ اَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ, وَابْنُ خُزَيْمَةَ 1 .

Allah’s Messenger (saw) said, “Whatever (portion) is cut off from an animal when it is alive is dead (meat). [Reported by Abu Da’ud and At-Tirmidhi who graded it Hasan (fair) and this version is of Tirmidhi].
وَعَنْ أَبِي وَاقِدٍ اَللَّيْثِيِّ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: قَالَ اَلنَّبِيُّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ مَا قُطِعَ مِنْ اَلْبَهِيمَةِ -وَهِيَ حَيَّةٌ- فَهُوَ مَيِّتٌ } أَخْرَجَهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ, وَاَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ وَحَسَّنَهُ, وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ 1 .

Narrated ‘Ali (rad):
The Prophet (saw) fixed the period of Mash (wiping) over the leather socks (Khifaf – plural of Khuff) for three days and nights for a traveller and one day and a night for the resident person in a town [Reported by Muslim].
وَعَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: { جَعَلَ اَلنَّبِيُّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيَهُنَّ لِلْمُسَافِرِ, وَيَوْمًا وَلَيْلَةً لِلْمُقِيمِ. يَعْنِي: فِي اَلْمَسْحِ عَلَى اَلْخُفَّيْنِ } أَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِم ٌ 1 .

Salim narrated on the authority of his father (RAA) that he saw the Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.), Abu Bakr and ’Umar walking in front of a Funeral.’ Related by the five Imams, and Ibn Hibban rendered it Sahih.
وَعَنْ سَالِمٍ, عَنْ أَبِيهِ - رضى الله عنه - { أَنَّهُ رَأَى اَلنَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ, يَمْشُونَ أَمَامَ الْجَنَازَةِ } رَوَاهُ اَلْخَمْسَةُ، وَصَحَّحَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ, وَأَعَلَّهُ النَّسَائِيُّ وَطَائِفَةٌ بِالْإِرْسَالِ 1 .

وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: { شَهِدْتُ بِنْتًا لِلنَّبِيِّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -تُدْفَنُ , 151 وَرَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -جَالِسٌ عِنْدَ اَلْقَبْرِ، فَرَأَيْتُ عَيْنَيْهِ تَدْمَعَانِ } رَوَاهُ اَلْبُخَارِيّ ُ 1 .

Sarra’ bint Nabhan (RAA) narrated ‘The Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) delivered a sermon to us on the second day of sacrifice, ‘Yaum ar-Ru’us’ (11th of Dhul -Hijjah) and said, "Is this not the middle of the days of Tashriq?” Related by Abu Dawud.
وَعَنْ سَرَّاءَ بِنْتِ نَبْهَانَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: { خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -يَوْمَ اَلرُّءُوسِ فَقَالَ:
" أَلَيْسَ هَذَا أَوْسَطَ أَيَّامِ اَلتَّشْرِيقِ ? " } اَلْحَدِيثَ رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ بِإِسْنَادٍ حَسَنٍ 1 .

Abu ad-Darda’ (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) said, “If a Muslim defends his brother’s honor in his absence, Allah will protect his face from the fire of Hell on the Day of Resurrection.” Related by At-Tirmidhi who graded it to be Hasan.
وَعَنْ أَبِي اَلدَّرْدَاءِ - رضى الله عنه - عَنْ اَلنَّبِيِّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالَ: { مَنْ رَدَّ عَنْ عِرْضِ أَخِيهِ بِالْغَيْبِ, رَدَّ اَللَّهُ عَنْ وَجْهِهِ اَلنَّارَ يَوْمَ اَلْقِيَامَةِ } أَخْرَجَهُ اَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ, وَحَسَّنَهُ . 1 .

’Abdur Rahman bin 'Auf (RAA) narrated, ‘The Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) took the Jizyah from the Magians of Hajar.’ Related by Al-Bukhari.
عَنْ عَبْدِ اَلرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ - رضى الله عنه - { أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -أَخَذَهَا - يَعْنِي: اَلْجِزْيَةُ - مِنْ مَجُوسِ هَجَرَ } رَوَاهُ اَلْبُخَارِيّ ُ 1 .
وَلَهُ طَرِيقٌ فِي

Samurah bin Jundub (RAA) narrated that The Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) said, “Whoever obtains possession of a relative, who is next of kin, that person becomes free.” Related by Ahmad and the four Imams. Some scholars are of the opinion that it is Mawquf (not connected to the Prophet.)
وَعَنْ سَمُرَةَ - رضى الله عنه - أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالَ: {
"مَنْ مَلَكَ ذَا رَحِمٍ مَحْرَمٍ, فَهُوَ حُرٌّ" } رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ, وَالْأَرْبَعَة ُ 1 . وَرَجَّحَ جَمْعٌ مِنَ الْحُفَّاظِ أَنَّهُ مَوْقُوف ٌ 2 .

Ibn ’Umar (RAA) narrated that The Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) said, “A man who persists in begging people to give him charity, will come on the Day of Judgment and there will not be a piece of flesh on his face.” Agreed upon.
وَعَنِ اِبْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: قَالَ اَلنَّبِيُّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ مَا يَزَالُ اَلرَّجُلُ يَسْأَلُ اَلنَّاسَ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ يَوْمَ اَلْقِيَامَةِ لَيْسَ فِي وَجْهِهِ مُزْعَةُ لَحْمٍ } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ 1 .

Ibn 'Umar (RAA) narrated, "The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) applied the punishment of flogging and also that of exile, Abu Bakr (RAA) applied the punishments of flogging and exile and also 'Umar applied them." Related by At-Tirmidhi with a trustworthy chain of narrators, but scholars differed over its being traced back to the Prophet (PBUH) or only to the companion.
وَعَنْ اِبْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا: { أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -ضَرَبَ وَغَرَّبَ وَأَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ ضَرَبَ وَغَرَّبَ. } رَوَاهُ اَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ, وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ, إِلَّا أَنَّهُ اخْتُلِفَ فِي رَفْعِهِ, وَوَقْفِهِ 1 .

Narrated Abu Hurairah (RA):
The Prophet (SAW) said, "O Sons of Bayada', marry to Abu Hind (someone of your women) and marry from his women (i.e. his daughters), (even though) he was a cupper.
[Abu Dawud and al-Hakim reported it with a Jayyid (good) chain of narrators].
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ - رضى الله عنه - أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالَ : { يَا بَنِي بَيَاضَةَ , أَنْكِحُوا أَبَا هِنْدٍ , وَانْكِحُوا إِلَيْهِ" وَكَانَ حَجَّامًا } رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ , وَالْحَاكِمُ بِسَنَدٍ جَيِّدٍ 1 .

Abu Dawud has reported (a Hadith) better than the aforesaid one through another chain, it has:
"Abu Rukana divorced his wife Suhaimah irrevocably and said, 'I swear by Allah that I meant it to be only a single utterance of divorce,' so the Prophet (SAW) returned her to him."
وَقَدْ رَوَى أَبُو دَاوُدَ مِنْ وَجْهٍ آخَرَ أَحْسَنَ مِنْهُ : { أَنَّ رُكَانَةَ طَلَّقَ اِمْرَأَتَهُ سُهَيْمَةَ اَلْبَتَّةَ , فَقَالَ : "وَاَللَّهِ مَا أَرَدْتُ بِهَا إِلَّا وَاحِدَةً, فَرَدَّهَا إِلَيْهِ اَلنَّبِيُّ -صَلَّى اَللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ } - 1 .

Narrated Jabir (RA):
The Prophet (SAW) - in the Hadith of pilgrimage which is long - said in regard to women, "They (women) have rights over you (the men) to provide them with their sustenance and clothing in a reasonable manner."

Narrated Anas bin Malik (RA):
The Prophet (SAW) forbade the sale of fruits till they become colorful. He was asked what that meant, he replied, "Till they become reddish and yellowish."

Narrated Ibn 'Umar (RA):
The Prophet (SAW) said, "If anyone buys a palm tree after it has been pollinated, the fruits belong to the seller who has sold them unless the buyer makes a condition."

وَعَنِ اِبْنِ عُمَرَ -رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا-, عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالَ: { مَنِ اِبْتَاعَ نَخْلًا بَعْدَ أَنْ تُؤَبَّرَ, فَثَمَرَتُهَا لِلْبَائِعِ اَلَّذِي بَاعَهَا, إِلَّا أَنْ يَشْتَرِطَ اَلْمُبْتَاعُ } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ 1 .

Narrated Safwan bin Umaiya (RA):
At the battle of Hunain, the Prophet (SAW) borrowed coats of mail from him and he asked, "Are you taking them by force, O Muhammad (SAW)?" He replied, "No, it is a loan with a guarantee of their reutrn."
[Reported by Abu Dawud and an-Nasa'i; al-Hakim graded it Sahih (authentic)].
وَعَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ; { أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -اِسْتَعَارَ مِنْهُ دُرُوعاً يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ. فَقَالَ: أَغَصْبٌ يَا مُحَمَّدُ? قَالَ: بَلْ عَارِيَةٌ مَضْمُونَةٌ } رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ, وَالنَّسَائِيُّ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اَلْحَاكِمُ 1 .

Narrated Ibn Mas'ud (RA) concerning the situation where there was a daughter, a son's daughter and a sister:
The Prophet (SAW) ruled, "The daughter gets half and the son's daughter gets a sixth, completing two-thirds, and what remains goes to the sister."

Narrated 'Umar (RA):
The Prophet (SAW) said, "There is no (prostrations of) forgetfulness for one who is led (in prayer) by an Imam, but when the Imam forgets, both should then make prostrations due to forgetfulness."

Narrated Ibn 'Umar (RA):
The Prophet (SAW) used to recite the Qur'an to us, and when he came to a place where a prostration should be made, he uttered the Takbir and prostrated and we prostrated with him.

Narrated 'Aishah (RA):
Allah's Messenger (SAW) recited (from the Qur'an) in an audible voice in the prayer at an eclipse, and prayed two Rak'at in which he bowed four times and prostrated four times."

وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهَا: { أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -جَهَرَ فِي صَلَاةِ اَلْكُسُوفِ 1 بِقِرَاءَتِهِ, فَصَلَّى أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ فِي رَكْعَتَيْنِ, وَأَرْبَعَ سَجَدَاتٍ } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ, وَهَذَا لَفْظُ مُسْلِمٍ 2 .

Anas (RA) reported that the Prophet ﷺ said:
“There is a sūrah in the Qur'ān not more than thirty verses, it argues on behalf of its companion until it enters him into paradise; and it is (Sūrah) Tabārak.”
Reference:

عَن أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنهُ أَنَّ النَّبيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَال:
" سُورَةٌ مِنَ القُرْآنِ مَا هِيَ إِلاَّ ثَلاَثُونَ آيَةً؛ خَاصَمَتْ عَنْ صَاحِبِهَا حَتىَّ أَدْخَلَتْهُ الجَنَّة وَهِيَ {تَبَارَك). "
Hadith 7, 40 Hadith an-Nawawi
On the authority of Tameem ibn Aus ad-Daree (ra):
The Prophet (saws) said, “The deen (religion) is naseehah (advice, sincerity).” We said, “To whom?” He (saws) said, “To Allah, His Book, His Messenger, and to the leaders of the Muslims and their common folk.”

عَنْ أَبِي رُقَيَّةَ تَمِيمِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ الدَّارِيِّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ: "الدِّينُ النَّصِيحَةُ." قُلْنَا: لِمَنْ؟ قَالَ: "لِلَّهِ، وَلِكِتَابِهِ، وَلِرَسُولِهِ، وَلِأَئِمَّةِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَعَامَّتِهِمْ."

Mishkat al-Masabih 2019
‘A'isha said that Hamza b. ‘Amr al-Aslami who was greatly devoted to fasting asked the Prophet whether he should fast when on a journey, and received the reply, “Fast if you like, or break your fast if you like.”
