Sunan Ibn Majah 3678
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah(SAW) said:
"O Allah, bear witness that I have issued a warning concerning (failure to fulfill) the rights of the two weak ones: Orphans and women.'"

Sunan Ibn Majah 2044
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the:
Messenger of Allah (SAW) said : "Allah has forgiven my nation for the evil suggestions of their hearts, so long as they do not act upon it or speak of it, and for what they are forced to do."

" إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَجَاوَزَ لأُمَّتِي عَمَّا تُوَسْوِسُ بِهِ صُدُورُهَا . مَا لَمْ تَعْمَلْ بِهِ أَوْ تَتَكَلَّمْ بِهِ وَمَا اسْتُكْرِهُوا عَلَيْهِ " .

“Whoever finds his exact property with a man who has become bankrupt, and then he has more right to it than anyone else.”

“Whoever fasts one day for the sake of Allah, Allah will move

face away from the Fire a distance of seventy autumns (years).”

said: ‘Whoever keeps a dog, one Qirat will be deducted from him
(good)
deeds every day, except a dog for farming or herding
livestock.”

“Mention of fever was made in

presence of the Messenger of Allah (saw), and a man cursed it. The
Prophet (saw) said: ‘Do not curse it, for it erases sin as fire
removes filth from iron.’”

‘Umrah to another is an expiation for the sins that came in

them, and Hajj Mabrur (an accepted Hajj) brings no less a
reward than
Paradise.”

“The Messenger of Allah (saw)

us in prayer,” and he mentioned a similar report, and added to it,
and he said: “And after that they were quiet in the prayers in
which
the Imam recites aloud.”

“The Prophet (saw) used to

us not to bow or prostrate before the Imam; when he says the
Takbir
then say the Takbir, and when he prostrates, you should
prostrate.”

between them, will have a reward equal to the worship of twelve
years.”

“A man may speak a word that angers Allah and not see

wrong with it, but it will cause him to sink down in Hell
the depth of
seventy autumns.”

" إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَتَكَلَّمُ بِالْكَلِمَةِ مِنْ سَخَطِ اللَّهِ لاَ يَرَى بِهَا بَأْسًا فَيَهْوِي بِهَا فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ سَبْعِينَ خَرِيفًا " .

Jami` at-Tirmidhi 75
Abu Hurairah narrated that :
Allah's Messenger said: "When one of you is in the Masjid, and he senses wind between his buttocks then he should not exit until he hears a sound or smells an odor."
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَوَجَدَ رِيحًا بَيْنَ أَلْيَتَيْهِ فَلاَ يَخْرُجْ حَتَّى يَسْمَعَ صَوْتًا أَوْ يَجِدَ رِيحًا " . قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ وَعَلِيِّ بْنِ طَلْقٍ وَعَائِشَةَ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ . وَهُوَ قَوْلُ الْعُلَمَاءِ أَنْ لاَ يَجِبَ عَلَيْهِ الْوُضُوءُ إِلاَّ مِنْ حَدَثٍ يَسْمَعُ صَوْتًا أَوْ يَجِدُ رِيحًا . وَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ إِذَا شَكَّ فِي الْحَدَثِ فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَجِبُ عَلَيْهِ الْوُضُوءُ حَتَّى يَسْتَيْقِنَ اسْتِيقَانًا يَقْدِرُ أَنْ يَحْلِفَ عَلَيْهِ . وَقَالَ إِذَا خَرَجَ مِنْ قُبُلِ الْمَرْأَةِ الرِّيحُ وَجَبَ عَلَيْهَا الْوُضُوءُ . وَهُوَ قَوْلُ الشَّافِعِيِّ وَإِسْحَاقَ .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 1678
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:
"My closest friend advised me to do three things: 'To pray witr at the beginning of the night, to pray two rak'ahs of Fajr and to fast three days of each month.'"
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ كَلِمَةً مَعْنَاهَا عَنْ عَبَّاسٍ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ أَوْصَانِي خَلِيلِي صلى الله عليه وسلم بِثَلاَثٍ الْوِتْرِ أَوَّلَ اللَّيْلِ وَرَكْعَتَىِ الْفَجْرِ وَصَوْمِ ثَلاَثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ .

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Fast when you see it and stop fasting when you see it, and if it is obscured from you (too cloudy), then count it as thirty (days).'"

Sunan an-Nasa'i 4290
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah said:
"Whoever keeps a dog that is not a dog used for hunting, herding livestock or guarding land, two qirats will be deducted from his reward each day."
أَخْبَرَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَيَانٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" مَنِ اقْتَنَى كَلْبًا لَيْسَ بِكَلْبِ صَيْدٍ وَلاَ مَاشِيَةٍ وَلاَ أَرْضٍ فَإِنَّهُ يَنْقُصُ مِنْ أَجْرِهِ قِيرَاطَانِ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ " .

"If a person becomes bankrupt, then a man finds the goods that he sold to him with him, he has more right to them than anyone else."

" أَيُّمَا امْرِئٍ أَفْلَسَ ثُمَّ وَجَدَ رَجُلٌ عِنْدَهُ سِلْعَتَهُ بِعَيْنِهَا فَهُوَ أَوْلَى بِهِ مِنْ غَيْرِهِ " .

The Prophet [SAW] said: "The perfume for men is that whose scent is apparent while its color is hidden, and the perfume for women is that whose color is apparent, while its scent is hidden."

The Messenger of Allah said: “Whoever wishes that Allah would respond to him during hardship and grief, then let him supplicate plentifully when at ease.”

" مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَسْتَجِيبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ عِنْدَ الشَّدَائِدِ وَالْكُرَبِ فَلْيُكْثِرِ الدُّعَاءَ فِي الرَّخَاءِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ .

Abu Hurairah [may Allah be pleased with him] narrated the the Prophet said:
“Indeed Allah has ninety-nine Names, one hundred less one, whoever counts them shall enter Paradise.”
حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" إِنَّ لِلَّهِ تِسْعَةً وَتِسْعِينَ اسْمًا مِائَةً غَيْرَ وَاحِدٍ مَنْ أَحْصَاهَا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ " .
قَالَ يُوسُفُ وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، رضى الله عنه عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم . هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ . وَقَدْ رُوِيَ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم.

that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "The adulterer is not a believer while he is committing adultery, and the thief is not a believer while he is stealing, but there is a chance for repentance; (if he repents, Allah will accept the repentance)."
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبِيدَةُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ يَزْنِي الزَّانِي حِينَ يَزْنِي وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ وَلاَ يَسْرِقُ السَّارِقُ حِينَ يَسْرِقُ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ وَلَكِنِ التَّوْبَةُ مَعْرُوضَةٌ " . وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَعَائِشَةَ وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ . - وَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِذَا زَنَى الْعَبْدُ خَرَجَ مِنْهُ الإِيمَانُ فَكَانَ فَوْقَ رَأْسِهِ كَالظُّلَّةِ فَإِذَا خَرَجَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ الْعَمَلِ عَادَ إِلَيْهِ الإِيمَانُ " . وَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي هَذَا خَرَجَ مِنَ الإِيمَانِ إِلَى الإِسْلاَمِ . وَقَدْ رُوِيَ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي الزِّنَا وَالسَّرِقَةِ " مَنْ أَصَابَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ شَيْئًا فَأُقِيمَ عَلَيْهِ الْحَدُّ فَهُوَ كَفَّارَةُ ذَنْبِهِ وَمَنْ أَصَابَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ شَيْئًا فَسَتَرَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ فَهُوَ إِلَى اللَّهِ إِنْ شَاءَ عَذَّبَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَإِنْ شَاءَ غَفَرَ لَهُ " . رَوَى ذَلِكَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ وَعُبَادَةُ بْنُ الصَّامِتِ وَخُزَيْمَةُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ عَنِ ...

that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "The sign of a hypocrite is that whenever he speaks he lies, and whenever he makes a promise he does not fulfill it, and if he is entrusted he betrays."

" آيَةُ الْمُنَافِقِ ثَلاَثٌ إِذَا حَدَّثَ كَذَبَ وَإِذَا وَعَدَ أَخْلَفَ وَإِذَا اؤْتُمِنَ خَانَ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ حَدِيثِ الْعَلاَءِ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم . وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ وَأَنَسٍ وَجَابِرٍ .
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سُهَيْلِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَحْوَهُ بِمَعْنَاهُ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ وَأَبُو سُهَيْلٍ هُوَ عَمُّ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ وَاسْمُهُ نَافِعُ بْنُ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَبِي عَامِرٍ الأَصْبَحِيُّ الْخَوْلاَنِيُّ .

حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ الْكُوفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبَانَ الْوَرَّاقُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَعْلَى الأَسْلَمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي فَرْوَةَ، يَزِيدَ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ زَيْدٍ، وَهُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهُ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَبَّرَ عَلَى جَنَازَةٍ فَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ فِي أَوَّلِ تَكْبِيرَةٍ وَوَضَعَ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى الْيُسْرَى . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ . وَاخْتَلَفَ أَهْلُ الْعِلْمِ فِي هَذَا فَرَأَى أَكْثَرُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَغَيْرِهِمْ أَنْ يَرْفَعَ الرَّجُلُ يَدَيْهِ فِي كُلِّ تَكْبِيرَةٍ عَلَى الْجَنَازَةِ . وَهُوَ قَوْلُ ابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ وَالشَّافِعِيِّ وَأَحْمَدَ وَإِسْحَاقَ . وَقَالَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ لاَ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ إِلاَّ فِي أَوَّلِ مَرَّةٍ . وَهُوَ قَوْلُ الثَّوْرِيِّ وَأَهْلِ الْكُوفَةِ . وَذُكِرَ عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي الصَّلاَةِ عَلَى الْجَنَازَةِ لاَ يَقْبِضُ يَمِينَهُ عَلَى شِمَالِهِ . وَرَأَى بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ أَنْ يَقْبِضَ بِيَمِينِهِ عَلَى شِمَالِهِ كَمَا يَفْعَلُ فِي الصَّلاَةِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى يَقْبِضُ أَحَبُّ إِلَىَّ .

" مَنْ وَقَاهُ اللَّهُ شَرَّ مَا بَيْنَ لَحْيَيْهِ وَشَرَّ مَا بَيْنَ رِجْلَيْهِ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى أَبُو حَازِمٍ الَّذِي رَوَى عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ اسْمُهُ سَلْمَانُ مَوْلَى عَزَّةَ الأَشْجَعِيَّةِ وَهُوَ كُوفِيٌّ وَأَبُو حَازِمٍ الَّذِي رَوَى عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ هُوَ أَبُو حَازِمٍ الزَّاهِدُ مَدَنِيٌّ وَاسْمُهُ سَلَمَةُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ . وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ .

Anas said that the Prophet prayed the noon, afternoon, sunset and evening prayer, after which he had a sleep, in al-Muhassab. (The valley opening on al-Abtah between Mecca and Mina ; so called because of the pebbles in it) He then rode to the House and performed the circumambulation.

I heard Allah's Messenger (SAW) saying, "When two people who are arranging a business transaction disagree and there is no proof to arbitrate between them, the seller's word is final, or they may break the deal."

"Allah's Messenger came out to us with his head bandaged from his illness. He prayed Maghrib, reciting (Surat) Al-Mursalat." [She said:] "He did not pray it again until he met Allah the Might and Sublime."
حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ أُمِّ الْفَضْلِ، قَالَتْ خَرَجَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهُوَ عَاصِبٌ رَأْسَهُ فِي مَرَضِهِ فَصَلَّى الْمَغْرِبَ فَقَرَأَ بِالْمُرْسَلاَتِ قَالَتْ فَمَا صَلاَّهَا بَعْدُ حَتَّى لَقِيَ اللَّهَ . قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ وَابْنِ عُمَرَ وَأَبِي أَيُّوبَ وَزَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ أُمِّ الْفَضْلِ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ . وَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُ قَرَأَ فِي الْمَغْرِبِ بِالأَعْرَافِ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ كِلْتَيْهِمَا . وَرُوِيَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُ قَرَأَ فِي الْمَغْرِبِ بِالطُّورِ . وَرُوِيَ عَنْ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ كَتَبَ إِلَى أَبِي مُوسَى أَنِ اقْرَأْ فِي الْمَغْرِبِ بِقِصَارِ الْمُفَصَّلِ . وَرُوِيَ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ أَنَّهُ قَرَأَ فِي الْمَغْرِبِ بِقِصَارِ الْمُفَصَّلِ . قَالَ وَعَلَى هَذَا الْعَمَلُ عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ وَبِهِ يَقُولُ ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ وَأَحْمَدُ وَإِسْحَاقُ . وَقَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ وَذُكِرَ عَنْ مَالِكٍ أَنَّهُ كَرِهَ أَنْ يُقْرَأَ فِي صَلاَةِ الْمَغْرِبِ بِالسُّوَرِ الطُّوَلِ نَحْوِ الطُّورِ وَالْمُرْسَلاَتِ قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ لاَ أَكْرَهُ ذَلِكَ ...

It was narrated from Hudhaifah that:
The Prophet (SAW) recited Surat Al-Baqarah, Al 'Imran and An-Nisa' in one rak'ah, and he did not reach any verse that spoke of mercy but he asked Allah for it, nor any verse that spoke of punishment but he asked Allah for protection therefrom.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى الصَّنْعَانِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الطُّفَاوِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كَانَتْ قُرَيْشٌ وَمَنْ كَانَ عَلَى دِينِهَا وَهُمُ الْحُمْسُ يَقِفُونَ بِالْمُزْدَلِفَةِ يَقُولُونَ نَحْنُ قَطِينُ اللَّهِ . وَكَانَ مَنْ سِوَاهُمْ يَقِفُونَ بِعَرَفَةَ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى : (ثُمَّ أَفِيضُوا مِنْ حَيْثُ أَفَاضَ النَّاسُ ) . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ . قَالَ وَمَعْنَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ أَنَّ أَهْلَ مَكَّةَ كَانُوا لاَ يَخْرُجُونَ مِنَ الْحَرَمِ وَعَرَفَةُ خَارِجٌ مِنَ الْحَرَمِ وَأَهْلُ مَكَّةَ كَانُوا يَقِفُونَ بِالْمُزْدَلِفَةِ وَيَقُولُونَ نَحْنُ قَطِينُ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي سُكَّانَ اللَّهِ وَمَنْ سِوَى أَهْلِ مَكَّةَ كَانُوا يَقِفُونَ بِعَرَفَاتٍ . فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى: (ثُمَّ أَفِيضُوا مِنْ حَيْثُ أَفَاضَ النَّاسُ ) . وَالْحُمْسُ هُمْ أَهْلُ الْحَرَمِ .

" لاَ يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ قَتَّاتٌ " . قَالَ سُفْيَانُ وَالْقَتَّاتُ النَّمَّامُ . وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .

The Prophet got the date palm trees of the tribe of Bani-An-Nadir burnt and the trees cut down at a place called Al-Buwaira . Hassan bin Thabit said in a poetic verse: "The chiefs of Bani Lu'ai found it easy to watch fire spreading at Al-Buwaira."

They sent word to Umm Salamah and she said: 'The husband of Subai'ah died and she gave birth fifteen days -half a month- after her husband died.' She said: 'Two men proposed marriage to her, and she was inclined toward one of them. When they feared that she was becoming single-minded (on this issue, and not consulting her family), they said: It is not permissible for you to marry. She went to the Messenger of Allah and he said: 'It is permissible for you to marry, so marry whomever you want.''"

" قَدْ حَلَلْتِ فَانْكِحِي مَنْ شِئْتِ " .

Abu Hurairah (RAA) narrated that The Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) was asked, ‘Which kind of Sadaqah is better? He replied, “That which is given by one who does not have much property. And begin by giving to your dependents.” Related by Ahmad, and Abu Dawud. Ibn Khuzaimah, Ibn Hibban and AI-Hakim graded it as Sahih.

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "A person who acquires (religious) knowledge, which is (normally) acquired to gain the Pleasure of Allah, (for the sole reason) to secure worldly comforts will not even smell the fragrance of Jannah on the Day of Resurrection (i.e., will not enter Jannah)."

Abu Hurairah said:
"I knew that the Messenger of Allah [SAW] was fasting on certain days, so I prepared some Nabidh for him to break his fast, and made it in a gourd. When evening came I brought it to him, and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I knew that you were fasting today, so I prepared this Nabidh for you to break your fast.' He said: 'Bring it to me, O Abu Hurairah.' I brought it to him, and it turned out to be something bubbling. He said: 'Take this and throw it against the wall (throw it away), for this is the drink of one who does not believe in Allah or the Last Day.'"

Narrated Umar ibn al-Khattab:
Malik ibn Aws ibn al-Hadthan said: One day Umar ibn al-Khattab mentioned the spoils of war and said: I am not more entitled to this spoil of war than you; and none of us is more entitled to it than another, except that we occupy our positions fixed by the Book of Allah, Who is Great and Glorious, and the division made by the Messenger of Allah (saws), people being arranged according to their precedence in accepting Islam, the hardship they have endured their having children and their need.

Ibn 'Umar (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "Avoid these filthy practices which Allah, the Almighty has prohibited. He who commits any of these, should conceal with Allah's Most High Veil (i.e. should not speak about it), and should turn to Allah, the Most High in repentance, for if anyone uncovers his hidden sins (to us), we shall inflict on him the punishment prescribed by Allah, the Al-Mighty." Related by Al-Hakim and in Al-Muwatta' but traced to its narrator Zaid bin Aslam as hadith Mursal.

Narrated Buraida (RA) Allah's Messenger (SAW) said:
"al-Qudat (judges) are of three types, two of whom will go to Hell and one to Paradise. The one who will go to Paradise is a man who knows what is right and gives judgement accordingly. However, a man who knows what is right, and does not give judgement accordingly and acts unjustly in his judgement, will be in the Hell-fire. Likewise, a man who does not know what is right and judges people with ignorance, will be in the Hell-fire."
[Reported by al-Arba'a, and al-Hakim graded it Sahih (authentic)].
عَنْ بُرَيْدَةَ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{

He said they will be like two clouds, or two black canopies with light between them, or like two flocks of birds in ranks pleading for one who recited them.

Jābir reported that the Prophet ﷺ glorified Allah when Sūrat al-An’ām was revealed, and said, ‘So many Angels accompanied its revelation that the horizon was covered with them.’”

Although it is reported by al-Hākim 2/314 and Bayhaqī 1/365, the report is classified by some scholars as weak. Shaykh Muhammad b. Rizq b. Tarhooni analyzes the arguments against the authenticity of the hadith and asserts that in fact it is ḥasan (sound). Narrated `Abdullāh bin Mughaffal:
I saw Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) reciting Sūrat-al-Fatḥ on his she-camel on the day of the Conquest of Mecca.

In a similar report, Abdullah bin Mughaffal said: I saw the Prophet (ﷺ) reciting (Qur'an) while he was riding on his she camel or camel which was moving, carrying him. He was reciting Sūrat Fatḥ or part of Sūrat Fatḥ very softly and in an attractive, moving tone.

Mishkat al-Masabih 1535
Ibn ‘Abbas said that God’s messenger used to commend al-Hasan and al-Husain to God’s protection, saying “With God’s perfect words I commend you to God’s protection from every devil and poisonous creature and from every evil eye.” And he would say, “Your ancestor used to commend Ishmael and Isaac with them to God’s protection.”(Abraham is here said to have done to his sons the same as the Prophet did to his grandsons.)
Bukhari transmitted it. Most texts of al-Masabih have “with them” in the dual.

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) entered upon me when I was sleeping on the mattress. Al-Hasan or Al-Husain asked for a drink, so the Prophet (ﷺ) went to a young sheep and milked it, then Al-Hasan came to him and the Prophet (ﷺ) told him to wait. Fatimah said: O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), it is as if he is the dearer of the two to you? He said: “No, but he asked for a drink first.” Then he said: `You and I and these two and this one who is sleeping will be in the same place on the Day of Resurrection.”

Narrated Mus`ab:
I asked my father, "Was the Verse:-- 'Say: (O Muhammad) Shall We tell you the greatest losers in respect of their deeds?'(18.103) revealed regarding Al-Haruriyya?" He said, "No, but regarding the Jews and the Christians, for the Jews disbelieved Muhammad and the Christians disbelieved in Paradise and say that there are neither meals nor drinks therein. Al- Hururiyya are those people who break their pledge to Allah after they have confirmed that they will fulfill it, and Sa`d used to call them 'Al-Fasiqin (evildoers who forsake Allah's obedience).
حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ مُصْعَبٍ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبِي {قُلْ هَلْ نُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِالأَخْسَرِينَ أَعْمَالاً} هُمُ الْحَرُورِيَّةُ قَالَ لاَ، هُمُ الْيَهُودُ وَالنَّصَارَى، أَمَّا الْيَهُودُ فَكَذَّبُوا مُحَمَّدًا صلى الله عليه وسلم وَأَمَّا النَّصَارَى كَفَرُوا بِالْجَنَّةِ وَقَالُوا لاَ طَعَامَ فِيهَا وَلاَ شَرَابَ، وَالْحَرُورِيَّةُ الَّذِينَ يَنْقُضُونَ عَهْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ بَعْدِ مِيثَاقِهِ، وَكَانَ سَعْدٌ يُسَمِّيهِمُ الْفَاسِقِينَ.

Abul-Fadl Al-`Abbas bin `Abdul-Muttalib (ra) reported:
I asked the Messenger of Allah (saws) to teach me a supplication. He (saws) said, "Beg Allah for safety (from all evils in this world and in the Hereafter)." I waited for some days and then I went to him again and asked him: "O Messenger of Allah Teach me to supplicate something from Allah." He said to me, "O Al-`Abbas, the uncle of Messenger of Allah! Beseech Allah to give you safety (Al-`afiyah ) in this life and in the Hereafter."

Sahih al-Bukhari 6550
Narrated Anas:
Haritha was martyred on the day (of the battle) of Badr while he was young. His mother came to the Prophet saying, "O Allah's Apostle! You know the relation of Haritha to me (how fond of him I was); so, if he is in Paradise, I will remain patient and wish for Allah's reward, but if he is not there, then you will see what I will do." The Prophet replied, "May Allah be merciful upon you! Have you gone mad? (Do you think) it is one Paradise? There are many Paradises and he is in the (most superior) Paradise of Al-Firdaus."

" وَيْحَكِ ـ أَوَهَبِلْتِ ـ أَوَجَنَّةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ هِيَ جِنَانٌ كَثِيرَةٌ، وَإِنَّهُ لَفِي جَنَّةِ الْفِرْدَوْسِ ".

Al-Faḍl bin Sahl narrated to me, he said Affān bin Muslim narrated to us, Hammām narrated to us, he said, Abū Dāwud al-A’mā came to us and began saying:
‘Al-Barā’ [bin Āzib, the Companion] narrated to us’; he said: ‘Zayd bin Arqam narrated to us’- and he mentioned that [those chains] to Qatādah. [Qatādah] said ‘He lied; he did not hear from them. He would beg the people asking [about Ḥadīth] at the time of the plague’ [circa 67H].
حَدَّثَنِي الْفَضْلُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، قَالَ قَدِمَ عَلَيْنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الأَعْمَى فَجَعَلَ يَقُولُ حَدَّثَنَا الْبَرَاءُ، قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ أَرْقَمَ، . فَذَكَرْنَا ذَلِكَ لِقَتَادَةَ فَقَالَ كَذَبَ مَا سَمِعَ مِنْهُمْ إِنَّمَا كَانَ ذَلِكَ سَائِلاً يَتَكَفَّفُ النَّاسَ زَمَنَ طَاعُونِ الْجَارِفِ .

Narrated `Aisha:
We got down at Al-Muzdalifa and Sauda asked the permission of the Prophet to leave (early) before the rush of the people. She was a slow woman and he gave her permission, so she departed (from Al- Muzdalifa) before the rush of the people. We kept on staying at Al-Muzdalifa till dawn, and set out with the Prophet but (I suffered so much that) I wished I had taken the permission of Allah's Apostle as Sauda had done, and that would have been dearer to me than any other happiness.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَفْلَحُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ قَالَتْ نَزَلْنَا الْمُزْدَلِفَةَ فَاسْتَأْذَنَتِ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم سَوْدَةُ أَنْ تَدْفَعَ قَبْلَ حَطْمَةِ النَّاسِ، وَكَانَتِ امْرَأَةً بَطِيئَةً، فَأَذِنَ لَهَا، فَدَفَعَتْ قَبْلَ حَطْمَةِ النَّاسِ، وَأَقَمْنَا حَتَّى أَصْبَحْنَا نَحْنُ، ثُمَّ دَفَعْنَا بِدَفْعِهِ، فَلأَنْ أَكُونَ اسْتَأْذَنْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَمَا اسْتَأْذَنَتْ سَوْدَةُ أَحَبُّ إِلَىَّ مِنْ مَفْرُوحٍ بِهِ.

Sunan an-Nasa'i 2515
It was narrated from Al-Hasan that Ibn 'Abbas delivered a Khutbah in Al-Basrah and said:
"Give Zakah of your fast." The people started looking at one another. So he said: "Whoever is here of the people of Al-Madinah, get up and teach your brothers, for they do not know that the Messenger of Allah has enjoined Salaqatul Fitr upon young and old, free and slave, male and female; half a Sa' of wheat or a Sa' of dates or barely." Al_Hasan said: 'If Allah has given you more, then give more generously of wheat or something else."'
أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، خَطَبَ بِالْبَصْرَةِ فَقَالَ أَدُّوا زَكَاةَ صَوْمِكُمْ . فَجَعَلَ النَّاسُ يَنْظُرُ بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَى بَعْضٍ فَقَالَ مَنْ هَا هُنَا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ قُومُوا إِلَى إِخْوَانِكُمْ فَعَلِّمُوهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَرَضَ صَدَقَةَ الْفِطْرِ عَلَى الصَّغِيرِ وَالْكَبِيرِ وَالْحُرِّ وَالْعَبْدِ وَالذَّكَرِ وَالأُنْثَى نِصْفَ صَاعِ بُرٍّ أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ أَوْ شَعِيرٍ . قَالَ الْحَسَنُ فَقَالَ عَلِيٌّ أَمَّا إِذَا أَوْسَعَ اللَّهُ فَأَوْسِعُوا أَعْطُوا صَاعًا مِنْ بُرٍّ أَوْ غَيْرِهِ .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 4185
It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah that:
a Bedouin pledged Islam to the Messenger of Allah, then the Bedouin was stricken with the fever in Al-Madinah. So he came to the Messenger of Allah and said: "O Messenger of Allah, cancel my pledge," but he refused. Then he came to him again and said: "Cancel my pledge," but he refused. Then he came to him again and said: "Cancel my pledge," but he refused. Then the Bedouin left (Al-Madinah) and the Messenger of Allah sadi: "Al-Madinah his like the bellows; it expels its dross and brightness its good.
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا، بَايَعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلَى الإِسْلاَمِ فَأَصَابَ الأَعْرَابِيَّ وَعَكٌ بِالْمَدِينَةِ فَجَاءَ الأَعْرَابِيُّ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَقِلْنِي بَيْعَتِي . فَأَبَى ثُمَّ جَاءَهُ فَقَالَ أَقِلْنِي بَيْعَتِي . فَأَبَى فَخَرَجَ الأَعْرَابِيُّ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" إِنَّمَا الْمَدِينَةُ كَالْكِيرِ تَنْفِي خَبَثَهَا وَتَنْصَعُ طَيِّبَهَا " .

Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2966
Narrated 'Asim Al-Ahwal:
"I asked Anas bin Malik about As-Safa and Al-Marwah, and he said: 'They were among the rites of Jahiliyyah.' He said: 'So during Islam, we refrained from them, then Allah, Blessed and Most High, revealed: Indeed As-Safa and Al-Marwah are of the symbols of Allah. So it is not a sin for those who perform Hajj or 'Umrah to the house to go between them. (2:158)' He said: 'So it is voluntarily then verily, Allah is the All-Recogniser, the All-Knowing. (2:158)'"
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الأَحْوَلِ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ عَنِ الصَّفَا، وَالْمَرْوَةِ، فَقَالَ كَانَا مِنْ شَعَائِرِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَلَمَّا كَانَ الإِسْلاَمُ أَمْسَكْنَا عَنْهُمَا فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ : ( إِنَّ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةَ مِنْ شَعَائِرِ اللَّهِ فَمَنْ حَجَّ الْبَيْتَ أَوِ اعْتَمَرَ فَلاَ جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِ أَنْ يَطَّوَّفَ بِهِمَا ) قَالَ هُمَا تَطَوُّعٌ (فَمَنْ تَطَوَّعَ خَيْرًا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ شَاكِرٌ عَلِيمٌ ) . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .

Jabir b. 'Abdullah (Allah be pleased with them) reported:
We joined Allah's Apostle (may pea, @. e be upon him) in Hajj and Umra and seven persons shared in the sacrifice of an animal. A person said to Jabir (Allah be pleased with him): Can seven persons share in the sacrifice of al-Badnah (a camel) as he shares in al- Jazur (a cow)? He, (Jabir) said: It (al-Jazur) is nothing but one among the budun. Jabir was present at Hudaibiya and he said: We sacrificed on that day seventy camel, and seven men shared in each sacrifice (of camel).
وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ اشْتَرَكْنَا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي الْحَجِّ وَالْعُمْرَةِ كُلُّ سَبْعَةٍ فِي بَدَنَةٍ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ لِجَابِرٍ أَيُشْتَرَكُ فِي الْبَدَنَةِ مَا يُشْتَرَكُ فِي الْجَزُورِ قَالَ مَا هِيَ إِلاَّ مِنَ الْبُدْنِ . وَحَضَرَ جَابِرٌ الْحُدَيْبِيَةَ قَالَ نَحَرْنَا يَوْمَئِذٍ سَبْعِينَ بَدَنَةً اشْتَرَكْنَا كُلُّ سَبْعَةٍ فِي بَدَنَةٍ .

Sunan Abi Dawud 2303
The tradition mentioned above has also been narrated by Al ‘Umm Athiyah from the Prophet (saws) through a different chain of narrators. The tradition narrated by Yazid bin Harun from Hisham does perfectly correspond to the tradition transmitted by Ibrahim bin Tahman and ‘Abd Allah Al Shami from Hisham. The narrator Al Misma’I reported Yazid as saying “I do not know but that he said “she should not dye herself.” To this the narrator Harun added “She should not wear colored clothes except one of the types made of dyed yarn.”

Narrated Anas bin Malik:
That the Prophet (saws) said: "Indeed Allah is pleased with the slave who, upon eating his food or drinking his drink, he praises Him for it."
He said: There are narrations on this topic from 'Uqbah bin 'Amir, Abu Sa'eed, 'Aishah, Abu Ayyub, and Abu Hurairah.
[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan. More than one narrator has reported it from Zakariyya bin Abi Za'idah similarly, and we do not know of it except through the narration of Zakariyya bin Abi Za'idah.
حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ، وَمَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَيَرْضَى عَنِ الْعَبْدِ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ الأَكْلَةَ أَوْ يَشْرَبَ الشَّرْبَةَ فَيَحْمَدَهُ عَلَيْهَا " . قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ وَعَائِشَةَ وَأَبِي أَيُّوبَ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ . وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ نَحْوَهُ وَلاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ .

Abu Hurairah (RAA) narrated that The Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) said ,”Prize money is allowed only for racing camels, shooting arrows or racing horses.” Related by Ahmad and the three lmams. Ibn Hibban graded it as Sahih.

Abu Hurairah (RAA) narrated, ‘The Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) said, "Allah, the Most Exalted said:
“Those among My servants, who hasten to break their fast, are the most beloved (or dearest)to Me.” Related by At-Tirmidhi.
وَلِلتِّرْمِذِيِّ: مِنْ حَدِيثِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ - رضى الله عنه - عَنِ اَلنَّبِيِّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالَ: { قَالَ اَللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَحَبُّ عِبَادِي إِلَيَّ أَعْجَلُهُمْ فِطْرًا } 1 .
