Narrated AbuShurayb al-Ka'bi:
The Prophet (saws) said: Then you, Khuza'ah, have killed this man of Hudhayl, but I will pay his blood-wit. After these words of mine if a man of anyone is killed, his people will have a choice to accept blood-wit or to kill him.
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدُ بْنُ مُسَرْهَدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا شُرَيْحٍ الْكَعْبِيَّ، يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" أَلاَ إِنَّكُمْ يَا مَعْشَرَ خُزَاعَةَ قَتَلْتُمْ هَذَا الْقَتِيلَ مِنْ هُذَيْلٍ وَإِنِّي عَاقِلُهُ فَمَنْ قُتِلَ لَهُ بَعْدَ مَقَالَتِي هَذِهِ قَتِيلٌ فَأَهْلُهُ بَيْنَ خِيرَتَيْنِ أَنْ يَأْخُذُوا الْعَقْلَ أَوْ يَقْتُلُوا " .

I went in with AbuBakr when he had newly come to Medina and he found his daughter Aisha lying down afflicted with fever. AbuBakr went to her, and saying: How are you, girlie? kissed her on the cheek.

Abu al-Zubair said:
I asked Jabir bin `Abdallah about riding on the sacrificial camels. He said I heard The Messenger of Allah (SWAS) saying ride on them gently when you have nothing else till you find a mount.

" ارْكَبْهَا بِالْمَعْرُوفِ إِذَا أُلْجِئْتَ إِلَيْهَا حَتَّى تَجِدَ ظَهْرًا " .

Sunan Abi Dawud 3625
The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by al-Zuhri through a different chain of narrator. This version has:
A man from Muzainah who followed the knowledge and memorized it to me that sa’id b.al-Musayyab transmitted it. He then mentioned the rest of the tradition to the same effect.

Ka‘b al-Ahbar said, “If one who passes in front of a man who is praying knew what was laid to his charge, it would be better for him to be swallowed up by the earth than to pass in front of him.” A version has “less serious for him.”

Al-Bara,’ said that the bowing observed by the Prophet, his prostration, his sitting between the two sajdas, and when he raised his head after bowing, but not the standing [during recitation of the Qur’an] and the sitting [when saying the shahada, were nearly equal.

‘Ali reported God’s Messenger as saying, “The niggardly one is the man in whose presence I am mentioned but who does not invoke a blessing on me.”
Tirmidhi transmitted it, and Ahmad transmitted it from al-Husain b. ‘Ali. Tirmidhi said this is a hasan sahih gharib tradition.
وَعَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الْبَخِيلُ الَّذِي ذُكِرْتُ عِنْدَهُ فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيَّ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَرَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا. وَقَالَ التِّرْمِذِيُّ: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ

Ibn ‘Abbas reported God’s Messenger as saying, “If anyone speaks on Friday while the imam is preaching, he is like an ass which carries books, (cf. Al-Qur'an; 62:5) and he who tells him to be quiet is not credited with the Friday prayer.”
Ahmad transmitted it.

Jundub b. ‘Abdallah al-Bajali reported God’s Messenger as saying, “If anyone sacrifices before the prayer, he must sacrifice another animal in place of it; but anyone who does not sacrifice till we have prayed must then sacrifice in God’s name."

Mishkat al-Masabih 4464
Umm 'Atiya al-Ansariya told that the Prophet said to a woman who used to perform circumcision (on girls) in Medina, “Do not cut severely, as that is better for a woman and more desirable to a husband.”
Abu Dawud transmitted it, saying this is a weak tradition one of whose transmitters is an unknown man.
وَعَن أُمِّ عطيَّةَ الأنصاريَّةِ: أنَّ امْرَأَة كَانَت تختن بِالْمَدِينَةِ. فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا تُنْهِكِي فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ أَحْظَى لِلْمَرْأَةِ وَأَحَبُّ إِلَى الْبَعْلِ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَقَالَ: هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ ضَعِيفٌ وَرَاوِيه مَجْهُول

Abu Huraira reported God's messenger as saying, "It is a part of the sunna that a man should accompany his guest to the door of the house."
Ibn Majah transmitted it, and Baihaqi, in Shu‘ab al-iman, transmitted it on the authority both of Abu Huraira and of Ibn 'Abbas, but said there is a weakness in its isnad.

Mishkat al-Masabih 4571
'Abdallah b. Mas'ud reported God’s messenger as saying:
“Make use of the two remedies: honey and the Qur’an.”
Ibn Majah and Baihaqi, in Shu'ab al-lman, transmitted the two traditions, Baihaqi saying the correct view is that the second goes no farther back than Ibn Mas'ud.

Ibn 'Umar said, "We used to say this a hundred times in the assembly

Abu'l-Malih reported from one of his people (who was a Companion)

وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ إِذَا وَقَعَ اَلذُّبَابُ فِي شَرَابِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْمِسْهُ, ثُمَّ لِيَنْزِعْهُ, فَإِنَّ فِي أَحَدِ جَنَاحَيْهِ دَاءً, وَفِي اَلْآخَرِ شِفَاءً } أَخْرَجَهُ اَلْبُخَارِيُّ 1 .

Narrated Laqit bin Sabra (rad):
Allah’s Mesenger (saw) said, “Perform a perfect Wudu run (your fingers) through the fingers of the hands and the toes, and if not fasting, sniff water up well inside the nose”. [Reported by Al-Arba’a and Ibn Khuzaima graded it Sahih].
وَعَنْ لَقِيطِ بْنُ صَبْرَةَ, - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ أَسْبِغْ اَلْوُضُوءَ, وَخَلِّلْ بَيْنَ اَلْأَصَابِعِ, وَبَالِغْ فِي اَلِاسْتِنْشَاقِ, إِلَّا أَنْ تَكُونَ صَائِمًا } أَخْرَجَهُ اَلْأَرْبَعَةُ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اِبْنُ خُزَيْمَة َ 1 .

Abil Shuraih Al-Khaza'i (RAA) narrated that The Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) said, “If the relative of one of you is killed after my speech, his family has one of two choices:
‘Either they take his Diyah or kill the killer.” Related by Abu Dawud and An-Nasa’i.
وَعَنْ أَبِي 1 شُرَيْحٍ اَلْخُزَاعِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ فَمَنْ قُتِلَ لَهُ قَتِيلٌ بَعْدَ مَقَالَتِي هَذِهِ, فَأَهْلُهُ بَيْنَ خِيَرَتَيْنِ: إِمَّا أَنْ يَأْخُذُوا اَلْعَقْلِ. أَوْ يَقْتُلُوا } أَخْرَجَهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ, وَالنَّسَائِيُّ 2 .

Jarir (RAA) narrated that The Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) said, “Any Muslim who stays among the polytheists, does not belong to me.” Related by the three Imams with a sound chain of narrators. Imam Al-Bukhari considered it as Mursal (i.e. the companion is absent from the chain of narrators.
وَعَنْ جَرِيرٍ الْبَجَلِيِّ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{
"أَنَا بَرِئٌ مِنْ كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ يُقِيمُ بَيْنَ اَلْمُشْرِكِينَ" } رَوَاهُ اَلثَّلَاثَةُ وَإِسْنَادُهُ [ صَحِيحٌ ], وَرَجَّحَ اَلْبُخَارِيُّ إِرْسَالَهُ 1 .

وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهَا; { أَنَّ قَوْمًا قَالُوا لِلنَّبِيِّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -إِنَّ قَوْماً يَأْتُونَنَا بِاللَّحْمِ, لَا نَدْرِي أَذُكِرَ اِسْمُ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ أَمْ لَا? فَقَالَ:
" سَمُّوا اَللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ أَنْتُمْ, وَكُلُوهُ" } رَوَاهُ اَلْبُخَارِيُّ (1750) .

Narrated [Abu Hurairah (RA)]:
Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "You will eagerly seek out the office of governorship, but it will become a cause of regret on the Day of Resurrection. How excellent it is as a Murdi'ah (wet nurse)! And how evil it is as a Fatimah (one who weans)!

وَعَنْهُ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{
"إِنَّكُمْ سَتَحْرِصُونَ عَلَى اَلْإِمَارَةِ, وَسَتَكُونُ نَدَامَةً يَوْمَ اَلْقِيَامَةِ, فَنِعْمَ اَلْمُرْضِعَةُ, وَبِئْسَتِ اَلْفَاطِمَةُ" } رَوَاهُ اَلْبُخَارِيُّ 1 .

Narrated Abu Hurairah (RA):
The Prophet (SAW) suggested to some people that they should take an oath (Yamin) and when they hastened to do so he ordered that lots should be cast among them concerning the oath, as to which of them should take it.

وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ - رضى الله عنه - { أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -عَرَضَ عَلَى قَوْمٍ اَلْيَمِينَ, فَأَسْرَعُوا, فَأَمَرَ أَنْ يُسْهَمَ بَيْنَهُمْ فِي اَلْيَمِينِ, أَيُّهُمْ يَحْلِفُ } رَوَاهُ اَلْبُخَارِيّ ُ 1 .

Narrated Jabir (RA):
We used to sell our slave-women who had borne (our) children while the Prophet (SAW) was still living, and he saw no harm in that.

Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah (RA):
Allah's Messenger (SAW) ruled that the option to buy a partner's share in property is applicable to everything that has not been divided. However, when boundaries are fixed and separate roads are made there is no partner's option."

Narrated al-Miqdam bin Ma'dikarib (RA):
Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "A beast of prey with a fang, a domestic donkey, and a lost item from the property of a Mu'ahid (a disbeliever who has been given a covenant) - unless it is something worthless - are not lawful."

Narrated Ibn Buraidah (RA) on the authority of his father:
The Prophet (SAW) appointed a sixth to a grandmother if no mother is left to inherit before her.
[Reported by Abu Dawud and an-Nasa'i. Ibn Khuzaimah and Ibn al-Jarud graded it Sahih (authentic) and Ibn 'Adi graded it strong].

Narrated Abu Dhar al-Ghifari (RA):
Allah's Messenger (SAW), "In case there is not before him (an object) like the back of a saddle, a Muslim's Salat (prayer) would be cut off by (the passing of) a woman, a donkey and a black dog." And it concludes: "the black dog is a devil."

Narrated 'Imran bin Husain (RA):
I suffered from piles. So I asked the Prophet (SAW) about the prayers. He said: "Pray standing; and if you are unable, (pray) sitting; and if you are unable, (pray) lying on your side."

Narrated 'Amr bin Shu'aib from his father on the authority of his grand father:
The Prophet of Allah (SAW) said, "The Takbir in ('Eid) al-Fitr prayer are seven in the first Rak'ah and five in the second, and the recitation of the Qur'an in both is after the Takbir."

‘Ubaidallah b Khalid reported God’s messenger as saying, “Sudden death is an act of punishment out of anger.” Abu Dawud transmitted it.
Baihaqi in Shu'ab al-iman and Razin in his book made an addition, saying “An act of punishment out of anger for the infidel and a mercy for the believer.”

" قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ وَرُزِقَ كَفَافًا وَقَنَّعَهُ اللَّهُ بِمَا آتَاهُ " .

A group would secede itself (from the Ummah) when there would be dissension among the Muslims. Out of the two groups who would be nearer the truth would kill them.

" تَمْرُقُ مَارِقَةٌ عِنْدَ فُرْقَةٍ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ يَقْتُلُهَا أَوْلَى الطَّائِفَتَيْنِ بِالْحَقِّ " .

It was narrated that 'Abbad bin 'Abdullah said:
"'Ali said: 'I am the slave of Allah and the brother of His Messenger. I am the greatest teller of the truth (Siddiq Akbar), and no one will say this after me except a liar. I prayed seven years before the people."

Sunan Ibn Majah 2223
It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said:
"When the Prophet (SAW) came to Al-Madinah, they were the worst people in weights and measures. Then Allah, Glorious is He revealed: "Woe to the Mutaffifun (those who give less in measure and weight)",[1] and they were fair in weights and measures after that.

Sunan Ibn Majah 3138
It was
narrated from ‘Uqbah bin ‘Amir Al-Juhani that the Messenger of
Allah (saw) gave him some sheep, and he distributed them among his
Companions to be sacrificed. There remained an ‘Atud.* He mentioned
that to the Messenger of Allah (saw) and he said:
“You sacrifice it
yourself.”

" ضَحِّ بِهِ أَنْتَ " .

ja’alana Muslimin (Praise is to Allah Who has fed us, given us to
drink, and made us Muslims).”

Sunan Ibn Majah 3453
It was
narrated from Abu Sa`eed and Jabir that the Messenger of Allah
(saw) said:
“Truffles are a type of manna, and their water is a
healing for eye (diseases). And the `Ajwah* are from Paradise, and
they are healing for possession.”**
Another chain from Abu Sa`eed from the Prophet (saw) with similar wording.

narrated that ‘Aishah the wife of the Prophet (saw) said:

used
to twist the garlands for the sacrificial animal of the Prophet
(saw), and his sacrificial animal would be garlanded and sent (to
Makkah), and he would stay (in Al-Madinah) without avoiding any of
the
things that the one in Ihram avoids.”

It was narrated from al-Hasan that Abu Bakr addressed the people and said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: `O people, the people are not given anything better in this world than certainty of faith and well-being, so ask Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, for them.`
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ خَطَبَ النَّاسَ فَقَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّ النَّاسَ لَمْ يُعْطَوْا فِي الدُّنْيَا خَيْرًا مِنْ الْيَقِينِ وَالْمُعَافَاةِ فَسَلُوهُمَا اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ.

` The people of Makkah will leave and no one will come to it-or no one will come to it except a few-then it will be filled and built up, then they will leave it and never return to it.`
حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ، سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ سَيَخْرُجُ أَهْلُ مَكَّةَ ثُمَّ لَا يَعْبُرُ بِهَا أَوْ لَا يَعْرِفُهَا إِلَّا قَلِيلٌ ثُمَّ تَمْتَلِئُ وَتُبْنَى ثُمَّ يَخْرُجُونَ مِنْهَا فَلَا يَعُودُونَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا.

He heard `Umar bin al-Khattab delivering a khutbah, He [ʼUmar] said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Whoever wears silk in this world will not wear it in the Hereafter.”

I saw ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) say: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbid anyone to keep any of the meat of his sacrificial animal for more than three days.

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab that Said ibn al- Musayyab used to say, "The full blood-money is payable for cutting off both lips, but when the lower one only is cut off, two-thirds of the blood-money is due for it."

Allah's Messenger said: "When one of you arrives to defecate, then let none of you face the Qiblah while defecating, nor while urinating. And do not have your back towards it, but have it east of you or west of you."

"أما يخشى أحدكم إذا رفع رأسه قبل الإمام أن يجعل الله رأسه رأس حمار! أو يجعل الله صورته صورة حمار" ((متفق عليه)).

Sa'd bin Abu Waqqas (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
The Prophet (PBUH) said, "He who (falsely) attributes his fatherhood to anyone besides his real father, knowing that he is not his father, will be forbidden to enter Jannah."

Sunan an-Nasa'i 1158
It was narrated from Al-Qasim who narrated from 'Abdullah-he is Ibn Abdullah bin 'Umar- that:
His father (Ibn 'Umar) said: "One of the sunnahs of the prayer is to hold the right foot upright and point its toes toward the Qiblah, and to sit on the left foot."
أَخْبَرَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ دَاوُدَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ بَكْرِ بْنِ مُضَرَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، أَنَّ الْقَاسِمَ، حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ - عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ مِنْ سُنَّةِ الصَّلاَةِ أَنْ تَنْصِبَ، الْقَدَمَ الْيُمْنَى وَاسْتِقْبَالُهُ بِأَصَابِعِهَا الْقِبْلَةَ وَالْجُلُوسُ عَلَى الْيُسْرَى .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 1370
It was narrated from Al-Hakam bin Mina' that:
He heard Ibn Abbas and Ibn Umar narrate that while he was on the minbar, the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "People should stop neglecting Jumu'ah or Allah will place a seal on their hearts and they will be deemed as being among the negligent."
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَبَّانُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنِ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ بْنِ لاَحِقٍ، عَنْ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلاَّمٍ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ مِينَاءَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، وَابْنَ، عُمَرَ يُحَدِّثَانِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ وَهُوَ عَلَى أَعْوَادِ مِنْبَرِهِ
" لَيَنْتَهِيَنَّ أَقْوَامٌ عَنْ وَدْعِهِمُ الْجُمُعَاتِ أَوْ لَيَخْتِمَنَّ اللَّهُ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ وَلَيَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْغَافِلِينَ " .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 1459
It was narrated that Abu Bakrah said:
"The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: 'The sun and moon are two signs of Allah (SWT), the Most High, and they do not become eclipsed for death or birth of anyone, rather Allah (SWT), the Mighty and Sublime, strikes fear into His slaves through them.'"
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" إِنَّ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ آيَتَانِ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى لاَ يَنْكَسِفَانِ لِمَوْتِ أَحَدٍ وَلاَ لِحَيَاتِهِ وَلَكِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يُخَوِّفُ بِهِمَا عِبَادَهُ " .

It was narrated that 'Ubaidullah bin 'Abdullah said:
"Umar, may Allah (SWT) be pleased with him, went out on the day of 'Eid and asked Abu Waqid Al-Laithi: 'What did the Prophet (SAW) recite on this day?' He said: 'Qaf' and '(The Hour) has drawn near.'"
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ضَمْرَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ خَرَجَ عُمَرُ - رضى الله عنه - يَوْمَ عِيدٍ فَسَأَلَ أَبَا وَاقِدٍ اللَّيْثِيَّ بِأَىِّ شَىْءٍ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقْرَأُ فِي هَذَا الْيَوْمِ فَقَالَ بِـ { ق } وَ{ اقْتَرَبَتْ } .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 1707
Abu Bakr An-Nahshali narrated from Habib bin Abi Thabit, from Yahya bin Al-Jazzar, that Ibn 'Abbas said:
"The Messenger of Allah (SAW) used to pray eight rak'ahs at night and pray witr with three, and pray two rak'ahs before Fajr."
أَخْبَرَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّهْشَلِيُّ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْجَزَّارِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ ثَمَانِ رَكَعَاتٍ وَيُوتِرُ بِثَلاَثٍ وَيُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ صَلاَةِ الْفَجْرِ . خَالَفَهُ عَمْرُو بْنُ مُرَّةَ فَرَوَاهُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْجَزَّارِ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم .

It was narrated that Az-Zubair said:
"They asked Ibn Umar: 'Did you see the Messenger of Allah walk rapidly between As-Safa and Al-Marwah?' He said: 'He was among a group of people and they walked rapidly, and I think they went at the same pace as him.'" (Daif)

It was narrated that Kathir bin Jumhan said:
"I saw Ibn Umar walking between As-Safa and Al-Marwah. He said: 'I am walking because I saw the Messenger of Allah Walking, and I hasten because I saw the Messenger of Allah hasten.'"
أَخْبَرَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ جُمْهَانَ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَمْشِي بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ فَقَالَ إِنْ أَمْشِي فَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَمْشِي وَإِنْ أَسْعَى فَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَسْعَى .

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar:
concerning the dream of the Prophet in Medina: The Prophet said, "I saw (in a dream) a black woman with unkempt hair going out of Medina and settling at Mahai'a. I interpreted that as (a symbol of) the epidemic of Medina being transferred to Mahai'a, namely, Al-Juhfa."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنِي سَالِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ فِي رُؤْيَا النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي الْمَدِينَةِ
" رَأَيْتُ امْرَأَةً سَوْدَاءَ ثَائِرَةَ الرَّأْسِ، خَرَجَتْ مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ، حَتَّى نَزَلَتْ بِمَهْيَعَةَ، فَتَأَوَّلْتُهَا أَنَّ وَبَاءَ الْمَدِينَةِ نُقِلَ إِلَى مَهْيَعَةَ، وَهْىَ الْجُحْفَةُ ".

Salim bin `Abdullah
said' "Allah's Apostle used to invoke evil upon Safwan bin Umaiya, Suhail bin `Amr and Al-Harith
bin Hisham. So the Verse was revealed:
-- "Not for you (O Muhammad!)......(till the end of Verse) For
they are indeed wrong-doers." (3.128)
وَعَنْ حَنْظَلَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، سَمِعْتُ سَالِمَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَدْعُو عَلَى صَفْوَانَ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ وَسُهَيْلِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو وَالْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ فَنَزَلَتْ {لَيْسَ لَكَ مِنَ الأَمْرِ شَىْءٌ} إِلَى قَوْلِهِ {فَإِنَّهُمْ ظَالِمُونَ} .

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu Nuaym Wahb ibn Kaysan that he heard Jabir ibn Abdullah say, "Someone who prays a raka without reciting the umm al-Qur'an in it has not done the prayer except behind an imam."
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي نُعَيْمٍ، وَهْبِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، يَقُولُ مَنْ صَلَّى رَكْعَةً لَمْ يَقْرَأْ فِيهَا بِأُمِّ الْقُرْآنِ فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ إِلاَّ وَرَاءَ الإِمَامِ .
