Mishkat al-Masabih 4378
Ibn ‘Abbas said it was only a garment wholly made of silk which God’s messenger forbade, but there was no harm in the ornamented border and the warp.
Abu Dawud transmitted it.

Mishkat al-Masabih 4426
Nafi‘ quoted Ibn ‘Umar as saying he had heard the Prophet forbidding qaza'. Nafi' was asked what qaza’ was and replied that it was having part of a boy’s head shaved arid leaving part unshaven.
(Bukhari and Muslim.) Some made the explanation a part of the tradition.

Ibn ‘Abbas reported God’s messenger as saying, "God most high has made wine, maisir and the kuba unlawfuland he said, "Every intoxicant is unlawful.” The kuba is said to be the drum.
Baihaqi transmitted it in Shu’ab al-iman.

`Abdallah b. Abul Jad'a' told that tie heard God's messenger say, "More than the number of the B. Tamim[*] will enter paradise through the intercession of a man of my people."

And Ashab As-Sunan (compilers of the prophet’s sayings) reported that one of the wives of the Prophet (saw) took bath from a vessel, then came the Prophet (saw) and when he wanted to take bath from that (vessel), she said, “I was sexually impure”. He said, “Water does not become sexually impure”. [At-Tirmidhi and Ibn huzaima graded it Sahih (sound)].
وَلِأَصْحَابِ "اَلسُّنَنِ": { اِغْتَسَلَ بَعْضُ أَزْوَاجِ اَلنَّبِيِّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -فِي جَفْنَةٍ, فَجَاءَ لِيَغْتَسِلَ مِنْهَا, فَقَالَتْ لَهُ: إِنِّي كُنْتُ جُنُبًا, فَقَالَ: "إِنَّ اَلْمَاءَ لَا يُجْنِبُ" } وَصَحَّحَهُ اَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ, وَابْنُ خُزَيْمَةَ 1 .

وَعَنْ سَالِمٍ, عَنْ أَبِيهِ - رضى الله عنه - { أَنَّهُ رَأَى اَلنَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ, يَمْشُونَ أَمَامَ الْجَنَازَةِ } رَوَاهُ اَلْخَمْسَةُ، وَصَحَّحَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ, وَأَعَلَّهُ النَّسَائِيُّ وَطَائِفَةٌ بِالْإِرْسَالِ 1 .

" يُجِيرُ عَلَى اَلْمُسْلِمِينَ بَعْضُهُمْ" } أَخْرَجَهُ ابْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ, وَأَحْمَدُ, وَفِي إِسْنَادِهِ ضَعْفٌ 1 .

Ibn 'Umar (RAA) narrated, "The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) applied the punishment of flogging and also that of exile, Abu Bakr (RAA) applied the punishments of flogging and exile and also 'Umar applied them." Related by At-Tirmidhi with a trustworthy chain of narrators, but scholars differed over its being traced back to the Prophet (PBUH) or only to the companion.

Narrated Jabir (RA):
Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "Any slave who marries without the permission of his masters or owners is (like) a fornicator."

A wording by Ahmad has:
Abu Rukana divorced his wife with three pronouncements, in one sitting. Then, he was grieved about her and Allah's Messenger (SAW) told him, "They (the three pronouncements) are reckoned as a single (utterance of divorce)."
[The two Ahadith have Ibn Ishaq, in their chains of narrators, and his reliability has been questioned].
وَفِي لَفْظٍ لِأَحْمَدَ : { طَلَّقَ أَبُو رُكَانَةَ اِمْرَأَتَهُ فِي مَجْلِسٍ وَاحِدٍ ثَلَاثًا , فَحَزِنَ عَلَيْهَا , فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -" فَإِنَّهَا وَاحِدَةٌ } وَفِي سَنَدِهَا اِبْنُ إِسْحَاقَ , وَفِيهِ مَقَالٌ 1 .

Narrated Ibn 'Umar (RA):
The Prophet (SAW) said, "If anyone buys a palm tree after it has been pollinated, the fruits belong to the seller who has sold them unless the buyer makes a condition."

Ibn ‘Abbas said that staying for a short time and making little noise when visiting an invalid is part of the sunna. He reported God’s messenger as saying, when their clamour and disagreement became excessive, ‘‘Get up and leave me.”(This was during the Prophet's last illness, the disagreement taking place regarding the advisability of the Prophet giving them further written instructions.)

Muhayyisa said he asked permission of God's Messenger regarding the hire of the cupper, but he forbade him. He kept on asking his permission, and at last he said, "Feed your watering-camel with it and feed your slaves with it."*

* Ibn Abd al-Barr (Isti'ab, p. 286) says Muhayyisa had a slave called Nafi' Abu Taiba who was a cupper. On p. 654 he says the name of Abu Taiba was Dinar, or Nafi', or Maisara, but God knows best. In this tradition Muhayyisa is told that he may not apply to his private use anything earned by his slave for cupping.

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Said ibn al- Musayyab that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Anyone who eats this plant should not come near our mosques. The smell of the garlic will offend us."

" مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ فَلاَ يَقْرُبْ مَسَاجِدَنَا يُؤْذِينَا بِرِيحِ الثُّومِ " .

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab that Said al- Musayyab told him that people used to be told to eat on the day of Fitr before setting out. Malik said that he did not consider that people had to do that for Adha.
