"The Messenger of Allah [SAW] forbade me from rings of gold, garments dyed with safflower, and wearing Al-Qassi, and from reciting Qur'an while bowing."

that concerning Al-'Abbas, the Prophet (SAW) said to 'Umar: "Indeed, the uncle of a man is the Sinw of his father." And 'Umar had spoken to him concerning his charity.

that the Prophet (SAW) said: "Al-'Abbas is the uncle of the Messenger of Allah (SAW), and indeed, the uncle of a man is the Sinw of his father or from the Sinw of his father."

"The Messenger of Allah (SAW) supplicated for me that Allah should give me Al-Hukm (knowledge, understanding, judging justly, or understanding of the Qur'an) two times."

Al-Muttalib bin 'Abdullah bin Hantab (narrated) that 'Abdullah bin 'Umar performed Wudu', washing each part of the body three times, and he attributed that to the Prophet (PBUH).

"I remember when I could do no more than rub it form the garment of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH)."

"We used to go to the marketplace in the morning at the time of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH), and we would pass through the Masjid and pray there."

“The Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) wore a Byzantine robe with narrow sleeves.”

"There was never more than a bare sufficiency of barley- bread for the people of the household of Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace).”

“The laughter of Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) was nothing but a joyful smile.”

The Prophet (saws) said: Nothing interrupt prayer, but repulse as much as you can anyone who passes in front of you, for he is just a devil.

We went to him, and I was the youngest of all (of us), but he did not mention:" I lost no time in marrying."

" That (the shield) was valuable those days."

The Caliphate will remain among the Quraish even if only two persons are left (on the earth),

I saw a group of people near the Ka'ba.... Then he narrated the tradition as narrated by A'mash.

from Salih bin Khawwat, from someone who prayed Salat Al-Khawf with the Prophet, and he mentioned a similar narration.

The Messenger of Allah was asked: "Which Hajj is the most virtuous?" He said: "That with raised voices (Al-Ajj) and the flow of blood (of the sacrifice) (Ath-Thajj)."

"I heard Zaid bin Arqam say: 'The Messenger of Allah (S.A.W) ordered us to use Qust Al-Bahri and oil to treat Pleurisy.'"

"Black standards will come from Khurasan, nothing shall turn them back until they are planted in Jerusalem."

"The Messenger of Allah (saws) prohibited wearing Al-Qassi and what was dyed with 'Usfur."

[Abu 'Eisa said:] There are narrations on this topic from Anas and 'Abdullah bin 'Amr.

I heard Laith b. Said as saying: Al-Hamv means the brother of husband or like it from amongst the relatives of the husband, for example, cousin, etc.

Nafi’ said “Ibn ‘Umar used to nap for a short while at Batha’ (i.e, Al Muhassab) and then enter Makkah.” He thought that Apostle of Allaah(saws) used to do so.

The Messenger of Allah (saws) as saying: Along with a boy there is an 'Aqiqah, so shed blood on his behalf, and remove injury from him.

The Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) said : water (bath) is necessary only when there is seminal emission. And Abu Salamah followed it.

I saw (this tradition) in the writing of my maternal uncle from 'Aqil, from Ibn Shihab through a different chain of narrators and to the same effect.

I prayed along with the Messenger of Allah (saws) four rak'ahs at the noon prayer at Medina and two rak'ahs at the afternoon prayer in Dhu al-Hulaifah.

We went out on a journey along with the Messenger of Allah (saws). He led us in the night prayer and he recited in one of the rak'ahs: "By the fig and the olive."

The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by Sahl bin Sa’d Al Sa’idi through a different chain of narrators. This version adds the child was attributed to its mother.

The Prophet's (saws) recitation at night was partly in a loud voice and partly in a low voice.

Abu Dawud said: The name of Abu Khalid al-Walibi is Hurmuz.

This is not lawful for anyone after the Messenger of Allah (saws).

The mark of earth was seen on the forehead and nose of the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) due to the prayer in which he led the people.

The Prophet (saws) used to say the Maghrib prayer immediately after the sun had set when its upper side would disappear.

The Prophet of Allah (saws) said: There are seven takers in the first rak'ah and five in the second rak'ah of the prayer offered on the day of the breaking of the fast.

The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) came out in the year of al-Hudaibbiyyah with over ten hundreds of Companions and when he came to Dhu al Hulaifah. He garlanded and marked the sacrificial animals, and entered the sacred state of Umrah. He then went on with the tradition. The Prophet moved on and when he came to the mountain, pass by which one descends (to Mecca) to them, his riding-beast knelt down, and the people said twice: Go on, go on, al-Qaswa has become jaded. The Prophet (May peace be upon him) said: She has not become jaded and that is not a characteristic of hers, but He Who restrained the elephant has restrained her. He then said: By Him in Whose hand my soul is, they will not ask any me good thing by which they honor which God has made sacred without my giving them it. He then urged her and she leaped up and he turned aside from them, and stopped at the farthest side of al-Hudaibiyyah at a pool with little water. Meanwhile Budail bin Warqa al-Khuza’I came, and ‘Urwah bin Mas’ud joined him. He began to speak to the Prophet (may peace be upon him). Whenever he spoke to the Prophet (may peace be upon him), he caught his beard. Al Mughriah bin Shu’bah was standing beside the Prophet (may peace be upon him).He had a sword with him, wearing a helmet. He (Al Mughriah) struck his (‘Urwah’s) hand with the lower end of his sheath, and said: Keep away your hand from his beard. ‘Urwah then raised his hand and asked: Who is this? They replied: Al-Mughirah bin Shu’bah. He said: O treacherous one! Did I not use my offices in your treachery? In pre-Islamic days Al-Mughirah bin Shu’bah accompanied some people and murdered them, and took their property. He then came (to the Prophet) and embraced Islam. The Prophet (may peace be upon him) said: As for Islam we accepted it, but as to the property, as it has been taken by treachery, we have no need of it. He went on with the tradition the Prophet (saws) said: Write down: This is what Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah, has decided. He then narrated the tradition. Suhail then said: And that a man will not come to you from us, even if he follows your religion, without you sending him back to us. When he finished drawing up the document, the Prophet (saws) said to his Companions: Get up and sacrifice and then shave. Thereafter some believing women who were immigrants came. (Allah sent down: O yea who believe, when believing women come to you as emigrants). Allah most high forbade them to send them back, but ordered them to restore the dower. He then returned to Medina. Abu Basir a man from the Quraish (who was a Muslim), came to him. And they sent (two men) to look for him; so he handed him over to the two men. They took him away, and when they reached Dhu Al Hulaifah and alighted to eat some dates which they had, Abu Basir said to one of the men : I swear by Allah so-and-so, that I think this sword of yours is a fine one; the other drew the sword and said : Yes I have tried it. Abu Basir said: Let me look at it. He let him have it and he struck him till he died, whereupon the other fled and came to Medina, and running entered the mosque. The Prophet ( may peace be upon him) said: This man has seen something frightful. He said: I swear by Allah that my Companion has been killed, and im as good as dead. Abu Basir then arrived and said: Allah has fulfilled your covenant. You returned me to them, but Allah saved me from them. The Prophet (saws) said: Woe to his mother, stirrer up of war! Would that he had someone (i.e. some kinsfolk). When he heard that he knew that he would send him back to them, so he went out and came to the seashore. Abu Jandal escaped and joined Abu Basir till a band of them collected.

from Anas who said: "Hudhaifah bin Al-Yaman came to 'Uthman, at the time when the people of Ash-Sham and the people of Al-'Iraq were waging war to conquer Arminiyah and Adharbijan. Hudhaifah saw their (the people of Ash-Sham and Al-'Iraq) different forms of recitation of the Qur'an. So he said to 'Uthman: 'O Commander of the Believers! Save this nation before they differ about the Book as the Jews and the Christians did before them.' So he ('Uthman) sent a message to Hafsah (saying): 'Send us the manuscripts so that we may copy them in the Musahif (plural of Mushaf: a written copy of the Qur'an) then we shall return it to you.' So Hafsah sent the manuscripts to 'Uthman bin 'Affan. 'Uthman then sent order for Zaid bin Thabit, Sa'eed bin Al-'As, 'Abdur-Rahman bin Al-Harith bin Hisham, and 'Abdullah bin Az-Zubair to copy the manuscripts in the Musahif. 'Uthman said to the three Quraish men: 'In case you disagree with Zaid bin Thabit on any point in the (recitation dialect of the) Qur'an, then write it in the dialect of Quraish for it was in their tongue.' So when they had copied the manuscripts, 'Uthman sent one Mushaf from those Musahif that they had copied to every province." Az-Zuhri said: "Kharijah bin Zaid [bin Thabit] narrated to me that Zaid bin Thabit said: 'I missed an Ayah of Surat Al-Ahzab that I heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW) reciting: Among the believers are men who have been true to their covenant with Allah, of them some have fulfilled their obligations, and some of them are still waiting (33:23) - so I searched for it and found it with Khuzaimah bin Thabit, or Abu Khuzaimah, so I put it in its Surah.'" Az-Zuhri said: "They differed then with At-Tabut and At-Tabuh. The Quraish said: At-Tabut while Zaid said: At-Tabuh. Their disagreement was brought to 'Uthman, so he said: 'Write it as At-Tabut, for it was revealed in the tongue of the Quraish.'" Az-Zuhri said: "'Ubaidullah bin 'Abdullah bin 'Utbah informed me that 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud disliked Zaid bin Thabit copying the Musahif, and he said: 'O you Muslim people! I am removed from recording the transcription of the Mushaf and it is overseen by a man, by Allah, when I accepted Islam he was but in the loins of a disbelieving man' - meaning Zaid bin Thabit - and it was regarding this that 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud said: 'O people of Al-'Iraq! Keep the Musahif that are with you, and conceal them. For indeed Allah said: And whoever conceals something, he shall come with what he concealed on the Day of Judgement (3:161). So meet Allah with the Musahif.'" Az-Zuhri said: "It was conveyed to me that some men amongst the most virtuous of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (SAW) disliked that view of Ibn Mas'ud."

I was in the presence of 'A'isha, and then narrated on her authority a hadith like this from the Holy Prophet (way peace be upon him).

The Prophet (saws) said: Your Lord is munificent and generous, and is ashamed to turn away empty the hands of His servant when he raises them to Him.

I saw the Messenger of Allah (saws) counting the glorification of Allah on fingers.

Ibn Qudamah said (in his version: "With his right hands".

The Prophet (saws) used to seek refuge in Allah from five things; cowardliness, niggardliness, the evils of old age, evil thoughts, and punishment in the grave.

The Prophet (saws) offered the noon prayer, and then rode on his mount. When he came to the hill of al-Bayda', he raised his voice in talbiyah.

I asked: Messenger of Allah, what will remove from me the obligation due for fostering a child? He said: A slave or a slave-woman.

The Prophet (saws) said: to Ali: Do not give a second look, Ali, (because) while you are not to blame for the first, you have no right to the second.

The Prophet (saws) said: The warrior gets his reward, and the one who equips him gets his own reward and that of the warrior.

The Messenger of Allah (saws) said: Tie the horses, rub down their forelocks and their buttocks (or he said: Their rumps), and put things on their necks, but do not put bowstrings.

The Messenger of Allah (saws) said: A vow is binding in those things by which the pleasure of Allah is sought, and an oath to break ties of relationship is not binding.

The Prophet (saws) said: Allah has revealed to me that you must be humble, so that no one oppresses another and boasts over another.

The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by Abu al-Darda through a different chain of narrators to the same effect from the Holy Prophet (may peace be upon him)

Ibn ‘Abbas said that the Prophet prostrated himself when reciting Sad (Al-Qur’an; 38) and said, "David made this prostration in repentance, but we do it out of gratitude.” Nasa’i transmitted it.

Abu Ayyub al-Ansari reported God’s Messenger as saying, “The gates of heaven are opened for four rak'as containing no taslim before the noon prayer.” Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah transmitted it.

Abu Malik al-Ash'ari told of hearing God’s messenger say, “Some of my people will assuredly drink wine calling it by another name.” Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah transmitted it.

Mundhir at-Tawri reported what Muhammad ibn 'Ali (ibn al-Hanafiyya) said about, "Is the repayment of kindness anything except kindness?" He said, "It is not denied to either the pious or the deviant."

Nafi' ibn al-Harith reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Part of a man's happiness is a spacious dwelling, a good neighbour, and a good mount."

Sa'd reported that he went with 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar and al-Qasim ibn Muhammad. They stopped at place and 'Abdullah ibn az-Zubayr commanded and made a gesture of greeting to them and it was answered.

Narrated (rad): Allah’s Messenger (saw) said, "When the skin is tanned it becomes purified.” [Reported by Muslim]. Al-Arba’a have the words: "Any skin that is tanned ... "

Narrated Anas bin Malik (rad): When the cup of the Prophet (saw) got broken, he fixed it with a silver wire at the crack [Reported by Al-Bukhari].

Allah’s Messenger (rad) said, “When you perform ablution, begin with your right limbs”. [Reported by Al-Arba’a and garded Sahih by Ibn Khuzaima].

The Prophet (saw) performed ablution and passed wet hands on his forelock, over the turban and over the two leather socks. [ Reported by Muslim].

Ibn 'Abbas and Usamah bin Zaid (RAA) narrated, The Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) kept on reciting Talbiyah until he threw the pebbles at Jamrat-ul ‘Aqabah..’ Related by Al-Bukhari.

Anas (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) said, “If one restrained his anger, Allah will keep His punishment from him (on the Day of Resurrection).” Related by At-Tabarani in al-Awsat.

Anas (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) said, “The atonement of backbiting a man is to ask Allah to forgive him.” Related by Al-Harith bin Abu Usamah with a weak chain of narrators.

At-Taialisi transmitted on the authority of 'Amro bin al-'As (RAA), ‘The right of giving protection to non-Muslims is extended to the most humble of the believers (and all Muslims must respect it and give him support).’

Ibn 'Abbas (RAA) narrated that The Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) had himself cupped while he was in a state of Ihram, and had himself cupped while he was fasting.’’ Related by Al-Bukhari.

"He started with the front of his head, moved them (his hands) to the nape of his neck, and then returned them to the place where he started."

At-Tirmidhi and Al-Hakim transmitted on the authority of 'Aishah (RAA) with the wording, 'Allah's Messenger (PBUH) said, "Avert infliction of the prescribed punishment on the Muslims as much as you can." It is also a weak hadith.

"If anyone makes his wife unlawful for himself - it is nothing." He said, "Indeed you have a good example in Allah's Messenger." [Reported by al-Bukhari].

al-Aqra' is the period of a woman's purity (which occurs between two menses). [Malik, Ahmad and an-Nasa'i reported it in the course of a story with a Sahih (authentic) chain of narrators].

If anyone buys a goat whose udder has been tied up and he returned it, he must return it with one Sa'. [Reported by al-Bukhari].

The Prophet (SAW) forbade selling a debt to be paid at a future date for another i.e., a debt for a debt. [Reported by Ishaq and al-Bazzar with a Da;if (weak) chain].

"It is not permissible for a woman to dispose anything of her wealth if her husband is responsible for her." [Reported by Ahmad and the collectors of as-Sunan except at-Tirmidhi and al-Hakim graded it Sahih (authentic)].

Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "The neighbor has more right (to be given preference) to the property which is near to him." [al-Bukhari reported it, and there is a story related to it].

Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "When you prostrate, place the palms of your hands on the ground and raise your elbows." [Reported by Muslim).

of Ibn 'Umar (RA) (coming next), which is authenticated by Ibn Khuzaimah. al-Bukhari mentioned it as a Hadith Mu'allaq (missing links from the side of the Haditb collector) and Mawquf (saying of a companion).

Whenever the Prophet (SAW) received a matter which pleased him he used to prostrate to Allah [out of thankfulness]. [Reported by al-Khamsa except an-Nasa'i].

Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "The prayer in time of danger is one Rak'ah, in whatever manner it is (performed)." [al-Bazzar reported it through a weak chain of narrators].

He [the Prophet (SAW)] prayed during an earthquake six bowings and four prostrations, and said, "This is the way the Prayer of the Signs (of Allah) is offered. [Reported by al-Baihaqi].

Samura b. Jundub and al-Mughira b. Shu'ba reported God’s messenger as saying, “If anyone relates a tradition from me thinking that it is false, he is one of the liars.” Muslim transmitted it.

Al-‘Irbad b. Sariya told that God’s messenger invited him to a meal shortly before dawn in Ramadan saying, “Come to the blessed morning meal.” Abu Dawud and Nasa’i transmitted it.

Abū Mas'ūd reported God’s messenger as saying, “If anyone recites the two verses at the end of sūra al-Baqara at night they will avert harm from him.” *Or will be enough for him. (Bukhārī and Muslim.)

Abūd Dardā’ reported God’s messenger as saying, “If anyone learns by heart ten verses at the beginning of sūra al-Kahf (Qur’ān, 18) he will be pro­tected from the dajjal.” Muslim transmitted it.

Ibn Mas'ud reported God’s Messenger as saying, "Even though usury be much it leads in the end to penury.” Ibn Majah and Baihaqi, in Shu'ab al-iman, transmitted it, and Ahmad also transmitted it.

Muhammad b. Hatib al-Jumahi reported the Prophet as saying, “The distinction between what is lawful and what is unlawful is the song and the tambourine at a wedding.” Ahmad, Tirmidhi, Nasa’i and Ibn Majah transmitted it.

The Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) was leading prayer at 'Arafa.

"The Messenger of Allah forbade us from facing either of the two Qiblah when defecating or urinating."

his father said: “The Messenger of Allah said: 'A previously-married woman can speak for herself, and the consent of a virgin is her silence.' ”

“I came to the Prophet (SAW) and my son was with me. He said: 'You will not be punished because of his crime and he will not be punished because of yours.'”

“The family of Muhammad (saw) never ate their fill of wheat bread for three nights in a row, from the time they came to Al-Madinah until he passed away.”

“I heard ‘Abdullah bin Buhainah say: ‘The Messenger of Allah (saw) was cupped in Lahyi Jamal,* in the middle of his head, while he was a Muhrim.”
