Sahih al-Bukhari 1870
Narrated `Ali:
We have nothing except the Book of Allah and this written paper from the Prophet (wherein is written:) Medina is a sanctuary from the 'Air Mountain to such and such a place, and whoever innovates in it an heresy or commits a sin, or gives shelter to such an innovator in it will incur the curse of Allah, the angels, and all the people, none of his compulsory or optional good deeds of worship will be accepted. And the asylum (of protection) granted by any Muslim is to be secured (respected) by all the other Muslims; and whoever betrays a Muslim in this respect incurs the curse of Allah, the angels, and all the people, and none of his compulsory or optional good deeds of worship will be accepted, and whoever (freed slave) befriends (take as masters) other than his manumitters without their permission incurs the curse of Allah, the angels, and all the people, and none of his compulsory or optional good deeds of worship will be accepted.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ مَا عِنْدَنَا شَىْءٌ إِلاَّ كِتَابُ اللَّهِ، وَهَذِهِ الصَّحِيفَةُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " الْمَدِينَةُ حَرَمٌ، مَا بَيْنَ عَائِرٍ إِلَى كَذَا، مَنْ أَحْدَثَ فِيهَا حَدَثًا، أَوْ آوَى مُحْدِثًا، فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ وَالْمَلاَئِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ، لاَ يُقْبَلُ مِنْهُ صَرْفٌ وَلاَ عَدْلٌ ". وَقَالَ " ذِمَّةُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَاحِدَةٌ، فَمَنْ أَخْفَرَ مُسْلِمًا فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ وَالْمَلاَئِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ، لاَ يُقْبَلُ مِنْهُ صَرْفٌ وَلاَ عَدْلٌ، وَمَنْ تَوَلَّى قَوْمًا بِغَيْرِ إِذْنِ مَوَالِيهِ، فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ وَالْمَلاَئِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ، لاَ يُقْبَلُ مِنْهُ صَرْفٌ وَلاَ عَدْلٌ ".

Narrated 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud:
that the Messenger of Allah (saws) said: "The blood of a Muslim man, who testifies that none has the right to be worshipped Allah, is not lawful except for one of three cases: The (previously married or) married adulterer, a life for a life, and the one who leaves the religion and parts from the Jama'ah (the community of Muslims.)
حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" لاَ يَحِلُّ دَمُ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ يَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَأَنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ إِلاَّ بِإِحْدَى ثَلاَثٍ الثَّيِّبُ الزَّانِي وَالنَّفْسُ بِالنَّفْسِ وَالتَّارِكُ لِدِينِهِ الْمُفَارِقُ لِلْجَمَاعَةِ " . قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ وَعَائِشَةَ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .

Musnad Ahmad 150
Fadalah bin 'Ubaid said:
I heard 'Umar bin al Khattab رضي الله عنه say: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: ` The martyrs are four: a man who believes and has good faith, who meets the enemy and shows sincerity to Allah until he is killed - he is the one at whom people will look like this`- and he raised his head until the hat of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ or 'Umar's hat fell of. ` The second is a man who is a believer and has good faith, who meets the enemy and it is as if his back was beaten with the thorns of an acacia tree, then a stray arrow comes and kills him- he will be in a the second rank. The third is a man who is a believer, but he mixes good and bad deeds, and he meets the enemy and shows sincerity to Allah until he is killed- he will be in the third rank. The fourth is a believing man who transgresses against himself by committing a great deal of evil deeds and sins, who meets the enemy and shows sincerity to Allah until he is killed- he will be in the fourth rank.`
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي يَزِيدَ الْخَوْلَانِيِّ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ فَضَالَةَ بْنَ عُبَيْدٍ، يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ الشُّهَدَاءُ أَرْبَعَةٌ رَجُلٌ مُؤْمِنٌ جَيِّدُ الْإِيمَانِ لَقِيَ الْعَدُوَّ فَصَدَقَ اللَّهَ فَقُتِلَ فَذَلِكَ الَّذِي يَنْظُرُ النَّاسُ إِلَيْهِ هَكَذَا وَرَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ حَتَّى سَقَطَتْ قَلَنْسُوَةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْ قَلَنْسُوَةُ عُمَرَ وَالثَّانِي رَجُلٌ مُؤْمِنٌ لَقِيَ الْعَدُوَّ فَكَأَنَّمَا يُضْرَبُ ظَهْرُهُ بِشَوْكِ الطَّلْحِ جَاءَهُ سَهْمٌ غَرْبٌ فَقَتَلَهُ فَذَاكَ فِي الدَّرَجَةِ الثَّانِيَةِ وَالثَّالِثُ رَجُلٌ مُؤْمِنٌ خَلَطَ عَمَلًا صَالِحًا وَآخَرَ سَيِّئًا لَقِيَ الْعَدُوَّ فَصَدَقَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ حَتَّى قُتِلَ قَالَ فَذَاكَ فِي الدَّرَجَةِ الثَّالِثَةِ وَالرَّابِعُ رَجُلٌ مُؤْمِنٌ أَسْرَفَ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ إِسْرَافًا كَثِيرًا لَقِيَ الْعَدُوَّ فَصَدَقَ اللَّهَ حَتَّى قُتِلَ فَذَاكَ فِي الدَّرَجَةِ الرَّابِعَةِ.

Sunan Abi Dawud 4319
Narrated Imran ibn Husayn:
The Prophet (saws) said: Let him who hears of the Dajjal (Antichrist) go far from him for I swear by Allah that a man will come to him thinking he is a believer and follow him because of confused ideas roused in him by him.
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ هِلاَلٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّهْمَاءِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عِمْرَانَ بْنَ حُصَيْنٍ، يُحَدِّثُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" مَنْ سَمِعَ بِالدَّجَّالِ فَلْيَنْأَ عَنْهُ فَوَاللَّهِ إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَأْتِيهِ وَهْوَ يَحْسِبُ أَنَّهُ مُؤْمِنٌ فَيَتَّبِعُهُ مِمَّا يُبْعَثُ بِهِ مِنَ الشُّبُهَاتِ أَوْ لِمَا يُبْعَثُ بِهِ مِنَ الشُّبُهَاتِ " . هَكَذَا قَالَ .

Mishkat al-Masabih 2687
Umm al-Husain said she saw Usama and Bilal, one of them holding the halter of God’s messenger’s she-camel, while the other raised his garment and sheltered him from the heat till he had thrown pebbles at the jamra of the ‘Aqaba.

وَعَنْ أُمِّ الْحُصَيْنِ قَالَتْ: رَأَيْتُ أُسَامَةَ وَبِلَالًا وَأَحَدُهُمَا آخِذٌ بِخِطَامِ نَاقَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَالْآخَرُ رَافِعٌ ثَوْبَهُ يَسْتُرُهُ من الْحَرِّ حَتَّى رَمَى جَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ. رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ

Abu Dharr reported God’s Messenger as saying, “The deeds of my people, good and bad, were presented before me, and I found the removal of something objectionable from the road among their good deeds, and mucus left unburied in the mosque among their evil deeds.”

وَعَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «عُرِضَتْ عَلَيَّ أَعْمَالُ أُمَّتِي حَسَنُهَا وَسَيِّئُهَا فَوَجَدْتُ فِي محَاسِن أَعمالهَا الْأَذَى يماط عَن الطَّرِيق وَوَجَدْتُ فِي مَسَاوِئِ أَعْمَالِهَا النُّخَاعَةَ تَكُونُ فِي الْمَسْجِد لَا تدفن» . رَوَاهُ مُسلم

Mishkat al-Masabih 1377
Tariq b. Shihab reported God’s Messenger as saying, “The Friday paryer in congregation is a necessary duty for every Muslim, with four exceptions:
a slave, a woman, a boy, or an invalid.”
Abu Dawud transmitted it. In Sharh as-sunna it occurs with the same wording as in al-Masabih from a man of the B. Wa’il.
وَعَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
" الْجُمُعَةُ حَقٌّ وَاجِبٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ فِي جَمَاعَةٍ إِلَّا عَلَى أَرْبَعَةٍ: عَبْدٍ مَمْلُوكٍ أَوِ امْرَأَةٍ أَوْ صَبِيٍّ أَوْ مَرِيضٍ ". رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَفِي شَرْحِ السُّنَّةِ بِلَفْظِ الْمَصَابِيحِ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بني وَائِل

Umm Hisham daughter of Haritha b. an-Nu‘man said she learned “Qaf. By the glorious Qur’an” (Al-Qur’an; 50) from no other source than the tongue of God’s Messenger who used to recite it every Friday on the pulpit when he preached to the people.

وَعَنْ أُمِّ هِشَامٍ بِنْتِ حَارِثَةَ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ قَالَتْ: مَا أَخَذْتُ (ق. وَالْقُرْآنِ الْمَجِيدِ)
إِلَّا عَنْ لِسَانِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَؤُهَا كُلَّ جُمُعَةٍ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ إِذَا خطب النَّاس. رَوَاهُ مُسلم

Jabir reported God’s messenger as saying,
"Beware of oppression, for oppression (zulm) will produce excessive darkness (zulumat) on the day of resurrection; and beware of niggardliness, for niggardliness destroyed your predecessor, inducing them to shed one another's blood and to treat things forbidden them as lawful."

وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
" اتَّقُوا الظُّلْمَ فَإِنَّ الظُّلْمَ ظُلُمَاتٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَاتَّقُوا الشُّحَّ فَإِنَّ الشُّحَّ أَهْلَكَ مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْ: حَمَلَهُمْ عَلَى أَنْ سَفَكُوا دِمَاءَهُمْ وَاسْتَحَلُّوا مَحَارِمهمْ ". رَوَاهُ مُسلم

Jabir told that he heard the Prophet say a month before he died, "You ask me about the last hour, but God alone has knowledge of it. I swear by God that no one already born who lives a hundred years will be alive that day."

وَعَن جَابر قا ل: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَمُوتَ بِشَهْرٍ: «تَسْأَلُونِي عَنِ السَّاعَةِ؟ وَإِنَّمَا عِلْمُهَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ وَأُقْسِمُ بِاللَّهِ مَا عَلَى الْأَرْضِ مِنْ نَفْسٍ مَنْفُوسَةٍ يَأْتِي عَلَيْهَا مِائَةُ سَنَةٍ وَهِيَ حَيَّةٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ» . رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ

Nubaishah Al-Hudhali (RAA) narrated that The Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) said, “The days of Tashriq (the three days following 'Idul Ad-ha, i.e. 11th , 12th and 13th of Dhul Hijjah) are days of eating, drinking and remembering (dhikr) of Allah, the Most Great and Glorious." Related by Muslim.
وَعَنْ نُبَيْشَةَ اَلْهُذَلِيِّ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ أَيَّامُ اَلتَّشْرِيقِ أَيَّامُ أَكْلٍ وَشُرْبٍ, وَذِكْرٍ لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ } رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ 1 .

Narrated Abu Hurairah (RA):
Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "Gold is to be paid for with gold, both being of equal weight and of same quantities; silver is to be paid for with silver, both being of equal weight and of same quantities. If anyone gives more or asks for more of it, it is then usury."

وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ اَلذَّهَبُ بِالذَّهَبِ وَزْناً بِوَزْنٍ مِثْلًا بِمِثْلٍ، وَالْفِضَّةُ بِالْفِضَّةِ وَزْناً بِوَزْنٍ مِثْلًا بِمِثْلٍ, فَمَنْ زَادَ أَوْ اِسْتَزَادَ فَهُوَ رِبًا } رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ 1 .

وَعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ -رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا- قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ لَوْ بِعْتَ مِنْ أَخِيكَ ثَمَراً فَأَصَابَتْهُ جَائِحَةٌ, فَلَا يَحِلُّ لَكَ أَنْ تَأْخُذَ مِنْهُ شَيْئًا. بِمَ تَأْخُذُ مَالَ أَخِيكَ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ? } رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ 1 .

Narrated [Anas (RA)]:
Rain fell upon us while we were with Allah's Messenger (SAW). He opened his garment till some of the rain fell upon him. He then said, "It has only recently been created by its Rabb."

وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: { أَصَابَنَا -وَنَحْنُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اَللَّهِ- - صلى الله عليه وسلم -مَطَرٌ قَالَ: فَحَسَرَ ثَوْبَهُ, حَتَّى أَصَابَهُ مِنَ اَلْمَطَرِ, وَقَالَ:
"إِنَّهُ حَدِيثُ عَهْدٍ بِرَبِّهِ" } رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ. 1 .

Special Virtues of the Qur'an's Chapters and Verses 78
This hadith has been narrated by Qatada with the same chain of transmitters in these words:
He (the Messenger of Allah) said: Allah divided the Qur'an into three parts, and he made:" Say: He, Allah is One." one part out of the (three) parts of the Qur'an.”

" إِنَّ اللَّهَ جَزَّأَ الْقُرْآنَ ثَلاَثَةَ أَجْزَاءٍ فَجَعَلَ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ جُزْءًا مِنْ أَجْزَاءِ الْقُرْآنِ ".
Mishkat al-Masabih 203
Abu Huraira reported God’s messenger as saying, “When a man
dies no further reward is recorded for his actions, with three exceptions:
sadaqa which continues to be supplied, or knowledge from which benefit
continues to be reaped, or the prayers of a good son for his dead father.”

Mishkat al-Masabih 38
Jabir reported that God's messenger said, “Two things have results." On being asked by a man what these two things were, he replied, “He who dies a polytheist will enter hell, and he who dies worshipping God alone will enter paradise."

وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " ثِنْتَانِ مُوجِبَتَانِ. قَالَ رَجُلٌ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا الْمُوجِبَتَانِ؟ قَالَ: (مَنْ مَاتَ يُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا دَخَلَ النَّارَ وَمَنْ مَاتَ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئا دخل الْجنَّة)

Mishkat al-Masabih 64
He said that some of the companions of God’s messenger came to the Prophet to consult him saying, “We have thoughts which none of us dare to talk about.” He said, “Have you experienced that?” and when they replied that they had, he said, “That is clear faith.”

وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: جَاءَ نَاسٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسَأَلُوهُ: إِنَّا نَجِدُ فِي أَنْفُسِنَا مَا يَتَعَاظَمُ أَحَدُنَا أَنْ يَتَكَلَّمَ بِهِ. قَالَ: «أَو قد وجدتموه» قَالُوا: نعم. قَالَ: «ذَاك صَرِيح الْإِيمَان» . رَوَاهُ مُسلم

Abu Huraira reported God’s messenger as saying, “In the last days there will be lying dajjals who will bring you traditions of which neither you nor your fathers have heard, so beware of them. They will neither lead you astray nor seduce you.”

Mishkat al-Masabih 424
‘Uthman said that God’s messenger performed each detail of ablution three times and then said, “This is how I perform ablution, how the prophets before me performed it, and how Abraham performed it.”
Razin transmitted these two traditions, but in his commentary on Muslim Nawawi declared the second to be weak.

Mishkat al-Masabih 1553
Ibn ‘Abbas reported God’s messenger as saying, "No Muslim will visit another and say seven times, ‘I ask God, the Mighty, the Lord of the mighty throne, to cure you’ without his being cured, unless his time has come.”
Abu Dawud and Tirmidhi transmitted it.
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
" مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَعُودُ مُسْلِمًا فَيَقُولُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ: أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ الْعَظِيمَ رَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ أَنْ يَشْفِيَكَ إِلَّا شُفِيَ إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ قَدْ حَضَرَ أَجَلُهُ ". رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد وَالتِّرْمِذِيّ

Mishkat al-Masabih 3264
Abu Huraira reported God’s Messenger as saying, “The believers who show the most perfect faith are those who have the best disposition and the best of you are those who are best to their wives.”
Tirmidhi transmitted it, saying this is a hasan sahih tradition, and Abu Dawud transmitted it up to “disposition.”
قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَكْمَلُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِيمَانًا أَحْسَنُهُمْ خُلُقًا وَخِيَارُكُمْ خِيَارُكُمْ لِنِسَائِهِمْ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَقَالَ: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَرَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد إِلَى قَوْله «خلقا»

Mishkat al-Masabih 3462, 3463
'Abdallah b. ‘Amr reported the Prophet as saying, “The passing away of the world would mean less to God than the murder of a Muslim man.”
Tirmidhi and Nasa’i transmitted it. Some traced it only to the Companion, and that is the soundest view. Ibn Majah transmitted it on the authority of al-Bara’ b. 'Azib.

Sunan Ibn Majah 224
It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah (saws) said:
"Seeking knowledge is a duty upon every Muslim, and he who imparts knowledge to those who do not deserve it, is like one who puts a necklace of jewels, pearls and gold around the neck of swines."

" طَلَبُ الْعِلْمِ فَرِيضَةٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ وَوَاضِعُ الْعِلْمِ عِنْدَ غَيْرِ أَهْلِهِ كَمُقَلِّدِ الْخَنَازِيرِ الْجَوْهَرَ وَاللُّؤْلُؤَ وَالذَّهَبَ " .

Sunan Ibn Majah 2143
It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said:
The one who has the most concerns is the believer who is concerned about both his worldly affairs and his Hereafter."' (Da'if)Abu 'Abdullah said: "This Hadith is Gharib' Isma'il, alone, has narrated it."

" أَعْظَمُ النَّاسِ هَمًّا الْمُؤْمِنُ الَّذِي يَهُمُّ بِأَمْرِ دُنْيَاهُ وَأَمْرِ آخِرَتِهِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ إِسْمَاعِيلُ .

Sunan Ibn Majah 3174
It was
narrated from ‘Aishah, the Mother of the Believers, that some
people said:
“O Messenger of Allah, some people bring us meat, and

do not know whether the Name of Allah has been mentioned over it
or
not.” He said: “Say: Bismillah and eat.’ They were new in
Islam.

" سَمُّوا أَنْتُمْ وَكُلُوا " . وَكَانُوا حَدِيثَ عَهْدٍ بِالْكُفْرِ .

It was
narrated that Bara’ bin ‘Azib said:
“We were talking about
how,
on the Day of Badr, the Companions of the Messenger of Allah
(saw)
numbered three hundred ten and something, the same number as the
Companions of (Talut) who crossed the river with him, and no one
crossed the river with him but a believer.”

It was
narrated that ‘Ubadah bin Samit said:
“I asked the Messenger

Allah (saw) the about the Saying of Allah, Glorious is He: ‘For
them are glad tidings, in the life of the present world, and in the
Hereafter.”[10:64] He said: ‘Those are good dreams that a Muslim
sees
or are seen about him.’”

Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet said, "If somebody manumits a Muslim slave, Allah will save from the Fire every part of his body for freeing the corresponding parts of the slave's body, even his private parts will be saved from the Fire) because of freeing the slave's private parts."

" مَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً مُسْلِمَةً، أَعْتَقَ اللَّهُ بِكُلِّ عُضْوٍ مِنْهُ عُضْوًا مِنَ النَّارِ، حَتَّى فَرْجَهُ بِفَرْجِهِ ".

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) cursed the one who accepts Ar-Riba (the usury) and the one who pays it.

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "When anyone of you stands up for Salat at night and finds it difficult to recite the Qur'an accurately and he is unaware of what he is reciting, he should go back to sleep."

The Prophet (PBUH) said, "The five daily (prescribed) Salat, and Friday (prayer) to the next Friday (prayer), and the fasting of Ramadan to the next Ramadan, is expiation of the sins committed in between them, so long as major sins are avoided."

Narrated `Abdullah:
The Prophet said, "A Muslim has to listen to and obey (the order of his ruler) whether he likes it or not, as long as his orders involve not one in disobedience (to Allah), but if an act of disobedience (to Allah) is imposed one should not listen to it or obey it. (See Hadith No. 203, Vol. 4)

Narrated `Aisha:
(the wife of the Prophet) I asked Allah's Apostle about the plague. He told me that it was a Punishment sent by Allah on whom he wished, and Allah made it a source of mercy for the believers, for if one in the time of an epidemic plague stays in his country patiently hoping for Allah's Reward and believing that nothing will befall him except what Allah has written for him, he will get the reward of a martyr."

" أَنَّهُ عَذَابٌ يَبْعَثُهُ اللَّهُ عَلَى مَنْ يَشَاءُ، وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ جَعَلَهُ رَحْمَةً لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ، لَيْسَ مِنْ أَحَدٍ يَقَعُ الطَّاعُونُ فَيَمْكُثُ فِي بَلَدِهِ صَابِرًا مُحْتَسِبًا، يَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ لاَ يُصِيبُهُ إِلاَّ مَا كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ، إِلاَّ كَانَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ شَهِيدٍ ".

Ibn 'Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) used to recite during the two Rak'ah of Fajr prayer: "Say (O Muslims): We believe in Allah and that which has been sent down to us..." (2:136) which is in Surat Al-Baqarah in the first Rak'ah and the Verse: "We believe in Allah, and bear witness that we are Muslims (i.e., we submit to Allah." (3:52) in the second Rak'ah.
According to another narration, he (PBUH) recited from Surat Al-'Imran the Verses: "Come to a word which is just between us and you..." (3:64).

Narrated Abu Huraira (rad):
Allah’s Messenger (saw) said, “If one of you feels disturbance in his stomach and doubts whether he has released some wind or not, then he should not leave the mosque unless he hears its sound or smells (its) odour”. [Reported by Muslim].

Muslim transmitted on the authority of 'Ali (RAA) concerning the story of al-Walid bin 'Uqbah that the Messenger of Allah inflicted forty lashes, Abu Bakr (RAA) forty lashes and 'Umar (RAA) eighty. All of them are in accordance with the Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH) but this one (the eighty lashes) is preferable to me.

Ibn Abbās reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would recite, in the morning prayer of Jumu’ah (Friday), Sūrat as-Sajdah in the first rakʿah, and Sūrat al-Insān in the second rakʿah, and he used to recite in Jumu’ah prayer Sūrat al-Jumu’ah and al-Munāfiqūn.”

Mishkat al-Masabih 2835
Jabir said that God’s Messenger forbade mukhabara, muhaqala and muzabana. Muhaqala means that a man sells a sown field for a hundred faraqs ( 3 sa’s) of wheat; muzabana that he sells the dates on the palm-trees for a hundred faraqs and mukharaba is renting land for a third and a quarter of the produce.

Sa'd reported God’s messenger as saying that no Muslim will supplicate God for anything and fail to receive an answer when he uses Dhun Nun’s supplication when he was in the belly of the fish:

لَمْ يَدْعُ بِهَا رَجُلٌ مُسْلِمٌ فِي شَيْءٍ إلاَّ استجابَ لَهُ ". رَوَاهُ أَحْمد وَالتِّرْمِذِيّ

Mishkat al-Masabih 2424
He said that when the Prophet was on a journey he would say at daybreak, "Let a hearer hear beginning with praise of God and His good favour towards us. Our Lord, accompany us and show favour to us who are seeking refuge in God from hell."
Muslim transmitted it.
وَعَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا كَانَ فِي سَفَرٍ وَأَسْحَرَ يَقُولُ: «سمع سامع يحمد الله وَحسن بلائه علينا وربنا صَاحِبْنَا وَأَفْضِلْ عَلَيْنَا عَائِذًا بِاللَّهِ مِنَ النَّارِ» . رَوَاهُ مُسلم

Abu Huraira reported Abu'l-Qasim (the kunya of the Holy Prophet) (may peace be upon him) as saying:
There is a time on Friday at which no Muslim would stand and pray and beg Allah for what Is good but He would give it to him; and he pointed with his hand that (this time) is short and narrow.
حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" إِنَّ فِي الْجُمُعَةِ لَسَاعَةً لاَ يُوَافِقُهَا مُسْلِمٌ قَائِمٌ يُصَلِّي يَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ خَيْرًا إِلاَّ أَعْطَاهُ إِيَّاهُ." وَقَالَ بِيَدِهِ يُقَلِّلُهَا يُزَهِّدُهَا.

Sahih Muslim 1142 a
Ibn Ka'b b. Malik reported on the authority of his father that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) sent him and Aus b. Hadathan during the days of Tashriq to make this announcement:
None but the believer would be admitted into Paradise, and the days of Mina' are the days meant for eating and drinking.

" أَنَّهُ لاَ يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ إِلاَّ مُؤْمِنٌ . وَأَيَّامُ مِنًى أَيَّامُ أَكْلٍ وَشُرْبٍ " .

Shurahbil bin Muslim Al-Khawlani narrated from Abu Umamah Al-Bahili that the heard :
the Messenger of Allah (SAW) say in his sermon, during the year of the Farewell pilgrimage: “Allah (SWT) has given each person who has rights his rights, and there is no bequest for in heir.”
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُرَحْبِيلُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ الْخَوْلاَنِيُّ، سَمِعْتُ أَبَا أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِيَّ، يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ فِي خُطْبَتِهِ عَامَ حِجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ
" إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ أَعْطَى كُلَّ ذِي حَقٍّ حَقَّهُ فَلاَ وَصِيَّةَ لِوَارِثٍ " .

Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet said, Abraham will meet his father (on the Day of Resurrection) and will say, 'O my Lords You promised me that You would not let me in disgrace on the Day when people will be resurrected.' Allah will say, 'I have forbidden Paradise to the non-believers."
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَخِي، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" يَلْقَى إِبْرَاهِيمُ أَبَاهُ فَيَقُولُ يَا رَبِّ إِنَّكَ وَعَدْتَنِي أَنْ لاَ تُخْزِنِي يَوْمَ يُبْعَثُونَ فَيَقُولُ اللَّهُ إِنِّي حَرَّمْتُ الْجَنَّةَ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ ".

Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri and Abu Huraira:
The Prophet said, "No fatigue, nor disease, nor sorrow, nor sadness, nor hurt, nor distress befalls a Muslim, even if it were the prick he receives from a thorn, but that Allah expiates some of his sins for that."

" مَا يُصِيبُ الْمُسْلِمَ مِنْ نَصَبٍ وَلاَ وَصَبٍ وَلاَ هَمٍّ وَلاَ حُزْنٍ وَلاَ أَذًى وَلاَ غَمٍّ حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةِ يُشَاكُهَا، إِلاَّ كَفَّرَ اللَّهُ بِهَا مِنْ خَطَايَاهُ ".

Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "The five (daily) Salat (prayers), and from one Jumu'ah prayer to the (next) Jumu'ah prayer, and from Ramadan to Ramadan are expiations for the (sins) committed in between (their intervals); provided the major sins are not committed".
