Mishkat al-Masabih 330
Ibn ‘Umar used to say, “A man’s kiss to his wife and his touching her with his hand are connected with sexual intercourse, and anyone who kisses his wife or touches her with his hand must perform ablution.”
Malik and Shafi‘i transmitted it.
وَعَن ابْن عمر كَانَ يَقُولُ: قُبْلَةُ الرَّجُلِ امْرَأَتَهُ وَجَسُّهَا بِيَدِهِ مِنَ الْمُلَامَسَةِ. وَمَنْ قَبَّلَ امْرَأَتَهُ أَوْ جَسَّهَا بِيَدِهِ فَعَلَيهِ الْوضُوء. رَوَاهُ مَالك وَالشَّافِعِيّ

Ibn ‘Umar reported God’s messenger as saying, “God accepts a servant’s repentance till he gives up his spirit in death.”*
*The Arabic is ma lam yugharghir, which might, be translated literally "as long as he has not died with the death rattle in his throat."
Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah transmitted it.

Narrated Ibn `Umar:
While we were with Allah's Apostle he said, "Tell me of a tree which resembles a Muslim man. Its leaves do not fall and it does not, and does not, and does not, and it gives its fruits every now and then." It came to my mind that such a tree must be the date palm, but seeing Abu Bakr and `Umar saying nothing, I disliked to speak. So when they did not say anything, Allah's Apostle said, "It is the date-palm tree." When we got up (from that place), I said to `Umar, "O my father! By Allah, it came to my mind that it must be the date palm tree." `Umar said, "What prevented you from speaking" I replied, "I did not see you speaking, so I misliked to speak or say anything." `Umar then said, "If you had said it, it would have been dearer to me than so-and-so."
حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ أَبِي أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ كُنَّا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ " أَخْبِرُونِي بِشَجَرَةٍ تُشْبِهُ أَوْ كَالرَّجُلِ الْمُسْلِمِ لاَ يَتَحَاتُّ وَرَقُهَا وَلاَ وَلاَ وَلاَ، تُؤْتِي أُكْلَهَا كُلَّ حِينٍ ". قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ فَوَقَعَ فِي نَفْسِي أَنَّهَا النَّخْلَةُ، وَرَأَيْتُ أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ لاَ يَتَكَلَّمَانِ، فَكَرِهْتُ أَنْ أَتَكَلَّمَ، فَلَمَّا لَمْ يَقُولُوا شَيْئًا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " هِيَ النَّخْلَةُ ". فَلَمَّا قُمْنَا قُلْتُ لِعُمَرَ يَا أَبَتَاهُ وَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ كَانَ وَقَعَ فِي نَفْسِي أَنَّهَا النَّخْلَةُ فَقَالَ مَا مَنَعَكَ أَنْ تَكَلَّمَ قَالَ لَمْ أَرَكُمْ تَكَلَّمُونَ، فَكَرِهْتُ أَنْ أَتَكَلَّمَ أَوْ أَقُولَ شَيْئًا. قَالَ عُمَرُ لأَنْ تَكُونَ قُلْتَهَا أَحَبُّ إِلَىَّ مِنْ كَذَا وَكَذَا.

Jabir bin Abdullah narrated that:
The Prophet said: "Whichever slave gets married without the permission of his owner, then he is a fornicator."

" أَيُّمَا عَبْدٍ تَزَوَّجَ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنِ سَيِّدِهِ فَهُوَ عَاهِرٌ " . قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ جَابِرٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ . وَرَوَى بَعْضُهُمْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم . وَلاَ يَصِحُّ وَالصَّحِيحُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ . وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَغَيْرِهِمْ أَنَّ نِكَاحَ الْعَبْدِ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنِ سَيِّدِهِ لاَ يَجُوزُ . وَهُوَ قَوْلُ أَحْمَدَ وَإِسْحَاقَ وَغَيْرِهِمَا بِلَا اخْتِلَافٍ.

(Another Chain) from Samurah that the Prophet (saws) said:
"Whoever owns a related Mahram, then he is free."
حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ الْعَمِّيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ، وَغَيْرُ، وَاحِدٍ، قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ الْبُرْسَانِيُّ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، وَعَاصِمٍ الأَحْوَلِ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " مَنْ مَلَكَ ذَا رَحِمٍ مَحْرَمٍ فَهُوَ حُرٌّ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَلاَ نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا ذَكَرَ فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ عَاصِمًا الأَحْوَلَ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ غَيْرَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بَكْرٍ . وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ عِنْدَ بَعْضِ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ . - وَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " مَنْ مَلَكَ ذَا رَحِمٍ مَحْرَمٍ فَهُوَ حُرٌّ " . رَوَاهُ ضَمْرَةُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم . وَلَمْ يُتَابَعْ ضَمْرَةُ عَلَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ وَهُوَ حَدِيثٌ خَطَأٌ عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْحَدِيثِ .

Sunan Abi Dawud 4549
The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by Ibn 'Umar from the Prophet (saws) to the same effect. This version has:
The Messenger of Allah (saws) addressed on the day of Conquest, or he said: On the conquest of Mecca on the ladder of the House or of the Ka'bah.
Abu Dawud said: In a similar way of Ibn 'Uyainah also transmitted it from 'Ali b. Zaid, from al-Qasim b. Rab'iah, from Ibn 'Umar, from the Prophet (saws) ; and Ayyub al-Sukhtiyani transmitted it from al-Qasim b. Rabi'ah from 'Abd Allah b. 'Amr like the tradition of Khalid. Hammad b. Salamah also transmitted it from 'Ali b. Zaid, from Ya'qub al-Sadusi, on the authority of 'Abd Allah b. 'Amr from the Prophet (saws). The statements of Zaid and of Abu Musa are similar to the tradition of the Prophet (saws) and to the tradition of 'Umar (Allah be pleased with him.)
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِمَعْنَاهُ قَالَ خَطَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ أَوْ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ عَلَى دَرَجَةِ الْبَيْتِ أَوِ الْكَعْبَةِ . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ كَذَا رَوَاهُ ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ أَيْضًا عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَرَوَاهُ أَيُّوبُ السَّخْتِيَانِيُّ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ خَالِدٍ وَرَوَاهُ حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ السَّدُوسِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَقَوْلُ زَيْدٍ وَأَبِي مُوسَى مِثْلُ حَدِيثِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَحَدِيثِ عُمَرَ رضى الله عنه .

Ibn ‘Umar reported God’s Messenger as saying, “The perfidious one will have a standard set up for him on the day of resurrection, and announcement will be made that this is the perfidy* of so and so, the son of so and so.”

* This is explained as meaning the sign, result, or punishment of his perfidy.

Ibn ‘Umar said that a man told the Prophet that he was being deceived in business transactions, and he replied, "When you make a bargain say, 'There is no attempt to deceive'*.” Then the man made a habit of saying that.

* He was to say this to protect himself because he was not expert enough to detect defects in what he was buying. Some hold that one who says this has the right to cancel the transaction if any defect is discovered within three days. Some say this applied only to the man who spoke to the Prophet; others say it applies to anyone.

Ibn ‘Umar said that at the Farewell Pilgrimage God’s messenger performed the ‘umra first and the hajj later (The phrase used is tamata'a bil-’umra ilal-hajj which indicates gaining the advantage of the ‘umra and waiting till the time for the hajj comes without requiring to wear the ihram during the intervening period. It is a difficult phrase to translate, and therefore one can only indicate its general meaning in a translation), raising his voice in the talbiya first for the 'umra and afterwards for the hajj.

Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 820
Ibn 'Umar said that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant
him peace, changed a woman's name from 'Asiya (rebellious), saying, "You
are Jamila (beautiful)."

Ibn ’Umar (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) said, “He who imitates any people (in their actions) is considered to be one of them.” Related by Abu Dawud and Ibn Hibban graded it as Sahih.

Ibn 'Umar (RAA) narrated that The Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) saw a woman who was killed in one of his expeditions, so he disapproved the killing of women and children. Agreed upon.

Narrated Ibn 'Umar (RA):
When a period of four months elapses, the one who swears to stay away from his wife must be made to return to her or divorce her, and the divorce is not valid till the husband himself pronounces it.

Narrated Ibn 'Umar (RA):
The Prophet (SAW) forbade selling a debt to be paid at a future date for another i.e., a debt for a debt.
[Reported by Ishaq and al-Bazzar with a Da;if (weak) chain].
وَعَنِ اِبْنِ عُمَرَ -رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا-; { أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ اَلْكَالِئِ بِالْكَالِئِ, يَعْنِي: اَلدَّيْنِ بِالدَّيْنِ } رَوَاهُ إِسْحَاقُ, وَالْبَزَّارُ بِإِسْنَادٍ ضَعِيفٍ 1 .

Allah's Messenger (SAW) forbade the sale of fruits till they appear to ripe, forbidding it both to the seller and to the buyer.

Narrated Ibn 'Umar (RA):
Bilal called for prayer before dawn and the Prophet (SAW) told him to return and announce: "Lo! the slave of Allah (i.e. Bilal) had slept (hence this mistake)".

Mishkat al-Masabih 2107
Ibn ‘Umar said that when the Prophet observed a period of private devotion in the mosque his bedding was placed for him, or a couch was put down for him, behind the column of repentance.*
*A column in the Prophet's mosque in Medina, said to have got this name because the repentance of Abu Lubaba was accepted beside it.
Ibn Majah transmitted it.

Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah transmitted it, Tirmidhi saying this is a gharib tradition.

Mishkat al-Masabih 3146
Ibn ‘Umar said God’s Messenger prohibited shighar, which means that a man gives his daughter in marriage on condition that the other gives his daughter to him in marriage without any dower being paid by either. In a version by Muslim he said, “There is no shighar in Islam."
