Abu Musa reported God’s messenger as saying, “God does not accept the prayer of a man who has any khaluq on his body.”

When the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) grew bulky and heavy he would observe (most of his Nafl) prayers sitting.

'A'isha reported that when the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) stood up at night to pray, he began his prayer with two short rak'ahs.
