المشي بالجنازة والصلاة عليها - الفصل الثاني
Mishkat al-Masabih 1678
Ibn ‘Umar reported God’s messenger as saying, “Mention the good qualities of your dead and refrain from mentioning their bad ones.”
Abu Dawud and Tirmidhi transmitted it.
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «اذْكُرُوا مَحَاسِنَ مَوْتَاكُمْ وَكُفُّوا عَنْ مُسَاوِيهِمْ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَالتِّرْمِذِيُّ
