Mishkat al-Masabih 108
‘Umar reported God’s messenger as saying, “Do not sit with those who believe in freewill and do not address them before they address you."
Abu Dawud transmitted it.
وَعَنْ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا تُجَالِسُوا أَهْلَ الْقَدَرِ وَلَا تفاتحوهم» رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
