Sunan Abi Dawud 3137
Narrated Anas ibn Malik:
The Prophet (saws) passed by Hamzah who was disfigured (after being killed). He did not offer prayer over any martyr except him.

The Prophet (saws) said: Do not give property to go to the survivor and do not give life-tenancy. If anyone is given something to the survivor or given life-tenancy, it goes to his heirs.

Nafi’ said on the authority of Ibn ‘Umar that the Prophet used to make his riding-beast kneel between him and the qibla and pray facing it.
(Bukhari and Muslim.) Bukhari added that Nafi' asked Ibn ‘Umar, saying, “Tell me what happened when the camels moved away,” to which he replied, “He used to take the saddle, put it straight, and pray facing the back of it.”

'Amr b. Shu'aib, on his father’s authority, quoted his grandfather as saying that when the Prophet prayed for rain he said, "O God, provide water for Thy servants and Thy cattle, display Thy mercy and give life to Thy dead land.”
Malik and Abu Dawud transmitted it.
وَعَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا اسْتَسْقَى قَالَ: «اللَّهُمَّ اسْقِ عِبَادَكَ وَبَهِيمَتَكَ وَانْشُرْ رَحْمَتَكَ وَأَحْيِ بَلَدَكَ الْمَيِّتَ» . رَوَاهُ مَالك وَأَبُو دَاوُد

Mu'awiya b. Qurra quoted his father as saying:

وَعَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي رَهْطٍ مِنْ مُزَيْنَةَ فَبَايَعُوهُ وَإِنَّهُ لَمُطْلَقُ الْأَزْرَارِ فَأَدْخَلْتُ يَدِي فِي جَيْبِ قَمِيصِهِ فَمَسِسْتُ الْخَاتم. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد

Mishkat al-Masabih 4072
Ka‘b b. Malik told that he had sheep which were pastured at Sal‘, [A hill near Medina.] and when a slavegirl of his saw one of their sheep which was dying she broke a stone and cut its throat with it. He questioned the Prophet and he ordered him to eat it.

وَعَن كعبِ بنِ مَالك أَنه كانَ لَهُ غَنَمٌ تُرْعَى بِسَلْعٍ فَأَبْصَرَتْ جَارِيَةٌ لَنَا بِشَاةٍ مِنْ غَنَمِنَا مَوْتًا فَكَسَرَتْ حَجَرًا فَذَبَحَتْهَا بِهِ فَسَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأمره بأكلها. رَوَاهُ البُخَارِيّ

Mishkat al-Masabih 4169
Qatada quoted Anas as saying that the Prophet never ate at a low table or from a small bowl* and that thin bread was not baked for him. Qatada was asked what they ate off and replied that it was off leather cloths.
*This would have indicated pride throngh keeping himself apart, or niggardliness.

Mishkat al-Masabih 4199
Abu Umama told that when the Prophet's cloth* was removed he said, "Praise be to God abundantly and sincerely, of such a nature as is productive of blessing, is not insufficient, abandoned, or ignored, O our Lord."
*The word ma'ida means a piece of leather or some other material spread on the ground for the food, and it comes to mean the food itself. It is often translated ‘table’, but this is misleading with reference to the early days of Islam.

وَعَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا رَفَعَ مَائِدَتَهُ قَالَ: «الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ حَمْدًا كَثِيرًا طَيِّبًا مُبَارَكًا فِيهِ غَيْرَ مَكْفِيٍّ وَلَا مُوَدَّعٍ وَلَا مُسْتَغْنًى عَنْهُ رَبُّنَا» . رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ

Zuhri reported in mursal form that the Prophet said:
“If anyone has himself cupped on a Wednesday or a Saturday and is smitten by leprosy, he must blame no one but himself .”
Ahmad and Abu Dawud transmitted it.
It has been given an isnad, but Abu Dawud said that that is not sound;
وَعَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ مُرْسَلًا عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مِنْ احْتَجَمَ يَوْمَ الْأَرْبِعَاءِ أَوْ يَوْمَ السَّبْتِ فَأَصَابَهُ وَضَحٌ فَلَا يَلُومَنَّ إِلَّا نَفْسَهُ» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ وَقَالَ: وَقَدْ أسْند وَلَا يَصح

Abu Usaid reported the Prophet as saying to them at the battle of Badr when they drew up in line to meet Quraish and they drew up in line to meet them, “When they come near you shoot arrows at them.” A version has, “When they come near you shoot at them, but do not use all your arrows.”

وَعَن أبي أَسِيدٍ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَنَا يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ حِينَ صَفَفَنَا لِقُرَيْشٍ وَصَفُّوا لَنَا: «إِذَا أَكْثَبُوكُمْ فَعَلَيْكُمْ بِالنَّبْلِ» . وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: «إِذَا أَكْثَبُوكُمْ فَارْمُوهُمْ وَاسْتَبْقُوا نَبْلَكُمْ» . رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ

Samura[*] reported God's messenger as saying, "Every prophet has a pond and they will vie with one another about which of them will have the largest number coming down to it. I hope that I may have the largest number."

Mishkat al-Masabih 5722
He reported God's messenger as saying, "I am the nearest of kin to Jesus, son of Mary in this world and the next. The prophets are brothers, sons of one father by co-wives. Their mothers are different, but their religion is one[*]. There has been no prophet between us."
*This saying is explained as meaning that all prophets have the same religion, which is figuratively called their lather, but they differ in their law and in a number of regulations, these being figuratively called their mothers. Cf. Mirqat, 5:346.

Narrated Abu Hurairah (RA):
The Prophet (SAW) said, "Anyone who has two wives and inclines to one of them will come on the Day of Resurrection with a side (of his body) inclining."

Narrated Jabir (RA):
We used to sell our slave-women who had borne (our) children while the Prophet (SAW) was still living, and he saw no harm in that.

Narrated Suhaib (RA):
The Prophet (SAW) said, "There are three things which contain blessings: A business transaction in which payment is agreed on a fixed later time, al-Muqaradah (speculative partnership), and mixing wheat and barley for one's household use but not for sale."

Narrated 'Imran bin Husain (RA):
The Prophet (SAW) led them [the Companions (RA)] in prayer and forgot (something). He then made two prostrations and then said the Tashahhud and uttered the Taslim (salutation).

Narrated Ibn Buraidah on the authority of his father:
Allah's Messenger (SAW) would not go out on the day of breaking of the fast till he had some food, and he would not to take any food on the day of sacrifice till he had prayed (the 'Eid prayer).

The Prophet ﷺ asked:
“Is any one of you unable to recite one-third of the Qur'ān in one night? They said: How could anyone read one-third of the Qur'ān (in one night)? He said: Qul huwa Allāhu aḥad (Sūrat al-Ikhlāṣ) is equivalent to one-third of the Qur'ān.”

It was narrated from al Mundhir bin az-Zubair (رضي الله عنه) from his father that The Prophet (ﷺ) gave a share to az-Zubair, a share to his mother, and two shares to his horse.

‘Abdallah b. ‘Amr reported God’s messenger as saying, “The major sins are associating other objects of worship with God, disobedience to parents, murder, and deliberate perjury (al-yamin al-ghamus)."
Bukhari transmitted it. Anas’s version has “false witness”* (shahadat al-zur) instead of ‘‘deliberate perjury."

As-Sa’ib b. Yazid on his father’s authority reported the Prophet as saying, “None of you must take his brother’s staff jestingly with the intention of causing annoyance. Anyone who takes his brother’s staff must return it to him.”
Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud transmitted it, the latter’s version ending at “causing annoyance.”

When the parties are unmarried they shall receive a hundred lashes and be banished for a year when they commit fornication and when they have been married they shall receive a hundred lashes and be stoned to death.”

وَعَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:
" خُذُوا عَنِّي خُذُوا عَنِّي قَدْ جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لَهُنَّ سَبِيلًا: الْبِكْرُ بالبكر جلد مائَة ووتغريب عَام وَالثَّيِّب بِالثَّيِّبِ جلد مائَة وَالرَّجم "

Narrated Ibn `Umar:
The Prophet said, "To get the moustaches cut 'short is characteristic of the Fitra."
حَدَّثَنَا الْمَكِّيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ حَنْظَلَةَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، قَالَ أَصْحَابُنَا عَنِ الْمَكِّيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ قَصُّ الشَّارِبِ ".
