He said, "God’s Messenger forbade us to sacrifice an animal with a broken horn or a slit ear.” Ibn Majah transmitted it.

Ibn ‘Abbas said the Prophet cursed the mukhannaths among men and the women who imitated men, saying, “Put them out of your houses.” Bukhari transmitted it.

Ibn ‘Umar told that he heard God’s messenger prohibit keeping an animal or anything else* waiting to be killed. *The word translated animal is bahima, which indicates a quadruped. “Anything else” means other creatures which are killed for food. The prohibition is said to refer either to keeping such animals without food and drink, or to imprisoning them and using them as targets. (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Ibn ‘Abbas reported the Prophet as saying, "Do not take any living creature as a target." Muslim transmitted it.

Anas b. Malik reported God’s messenger as saying, “The lord of your condiment is salt.”* *Probably meaning that salt is necessary to make food palatable, while other condiments are extras. Ibn Majah transmitted it.

Jabir said that when the Prophet entered Mecca his banner was white. Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah transmitted it.

Jabir said, "When two people walking meet, then the one who gives the greeting first is the better of them."

At-Tabarani also narrated on the authority of Ibn ‘Umar (with a weak chain of narrators), the prohibition of relieving oneself under fruit trees and beside the bank of a flowing river.

Ibn 'Abbas (RAA) narrated, ‘The Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) had himself cupped while he was in the state of Ihram Agreed upon.

Abu Hurairah (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) said, “Nothing is more honorable before Allah than supplication.” Related by At-Tirmidhi with a full chain of narrators. Ibn Hibban and Al-Hakim graded it as Sahih;.

He said, "Divorce her." He replied "I can not endure the desire for her." He said, "Then keep her."

If anyone buys a goat whose udder has been tied up and he returned it, he must return it with one Sa'. [Reported by al-Bukhari].

Ibn ‘Umar reported God’s messenger as saying, “Some of my traditions abrogate others just as some parts of the Qur’an abrogate others.” Daraqutni transmitted it.

Ibn ‘Abbas said that the Prophet wiped his head and also the inside of his ears with his forefingers and the outside with his thumbs. Nasa’i transmitted it.

She said that Abu Bakr kissed the Prophet when he was dead. Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah transmitted it.

Abu Huraira reported God’s Messenger as saying, “One who kills a man cannot inherit from him.” Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah transmitted it.

Ibn ‘Abbas said that when God’s Messenger died he left nine wives, eight of whom he used to visit equally. (The next tradition explains this) (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Ibn ‘Umar reported the Prophet as saying, “The lawful thing which God hates most is divorce.” Abu Dawud transmitted it.

Ibn ‘Abbas reported the Prophet as saying, “This and that are equal,” meaning the little finger and the thumb. Bukhari transmitted it.

" And you would become exhausted."

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) forbade shaving a part of the head.

Hajjāj narrated to me, he said Ahmad- and he is Ibn Yūnus- narrated to me, Zā’idah narrated to us, on authority of Mansūr and al-Mughīrah, on authority of Ibrāhīm that al-Hārith was imputed.

the Prophet forbade artificially inflating prices.

“If you are afflicted with the responsibility of judgeship, you must follow the [Prophetic] tradition [al-athar]!”

Nafi' said that Ibn 'Umar used to wear his signet-ring on his left hand.

On the authority of 'Awf: 'Iyafah means to makes the birds fly by threatening them. Tarq means lines drawn on the earth.

The back of the saddle is (about) one cubit (in height) or more than that.

Ibn ‘Abbas said “The verse concerning the payment of ransom stands valid for pregnant and sucking woman.”

Abu Mishar was told about Ubna. He said “We know it better. This is Yubna of Palestine.

"What was said about me had been said, and I myself was unaware of it, the Messenger of Allah (SAW) got up and addressed the people. He recited the Tashahhud and after praising and expressing gratitude to Allah, as He deserved, he said: 'To proceed: O people! Give me your opinion regarding those people who made a forged story against my wife. By Allah, I do not know anything bad about her at all. By Allah, they accused her of being with a man about whom I have never known anything bad, and he never entered my house unless I was present there, and whenever I went on a journey, he went with me.' Sa'd bin Mu'adh [may Allah be pleased with him] got up and said: 'O Messenger of Allah (SAW)! Allow me to chop their heads off!' Then a man from Al-Khazraj, to whom the mother of Hassan bin Thabit was a relative, got up and said (to Sa'd): 'You have told a lie! By Allah, if those persons were from Al-Aws, you would not like to chop their heads.' It was probable that some evil would take place between Aws and Khazraj in the Masjid while I was unaware of that. In the evening of that day, I went out for some of my needs, and Umm Mistah was accompanying me. On our return, Umm Mistah stumbled and said: 'Let Mistah be ruined!' I said to her, 'O mother! Why do you abuse your son?' On that Umm Mistah became silent for a while, and stumbling again, she said: 'Let Mistah be ruined!' I said to her: 'O mother! Why do you abuse your son?' She stumbled for the third time and said: 'Let Mistah be ruined!' I said to her: 'O mother! Why do you abuse your son?' Upon that she said: 'By Allah! I do not abuse him except because of you.' I asked her: 'Concerning what of my affairs?' So she disclosed the whole story to me. I said: 'Has this really happened?' She replied: 'Yes, by Allah!' I returned to my house, so astonished, that I did not know for what purpose I had gone out. Then I became sick and said to the Messenger of Allah (SAW) 'Send me to my father's house.' So he sent a servant with me, and when I entered the house, I found Umm Ruman downstairs, while Abu Bakr was reciting something upstairs. My mother asked: 'What has brought you, O daughter?' She said: "I informed her and mentioned the whole story to her, but she did not feel as I did about it. She said: 'O my daughter! Do not worry much about this matter, for there is never a charming lady loved by her husband who has other wives, but that they feel jealous of her and speak badly of her.' But she did not feel ...

The tradition mention above has also been transmitted by Abu Musa through a different chain if narrators. But there is no mention of demand of repentance.

Ibn ‘Abbas reported the Prophet as saying, ‘ I seem to see him black and hen-toed pulling it down stone by stone.” Bukhari transmitted it.

Ibn ‘Abbas said that Mu'awiya told him he had clipped some hair from the Prophet’s head at al-Marwa with a broad, iron arrowhead. Bukhari and Muslim.

Ibn ‘Umar reported God’s Messenger as saying, “If anyone misses the afternoon prayer, it is as though he had been cut off from his family and his property.” (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Ibn ‘Umar reported God’s Messenger as saying, “Perform some of your prayer in your houses, and do not turn them into graves.”* * This is most probably a figurative expression indicating that a house in which prayer is not offered is like a grave, as God is not worshipped there. (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Ibn ‘Abbas said that the Prophet prostrated himself when an-Najm (Al-Qur'an; 53) was revealed, and the Muslims, the ploytheists, jinn and men prostrated themselves along with him. Bukhari transmitted it.

Ibn ‘Umar reported God’s Messenger as saying, “Prayer said in a congregation is twenty-seven degrees more excellent than prayer said by a single person.” (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Abu Musa al-Ash‘ari reported God’s Messenger as saying, “Two and over constitute a congregation.” Ibn Majah transmitted it.

Ibn ‘Abbas reported God’s Messenger as saying, ‘‘The best of you are those whose shoulders give least annoyance in prayer." Abu Dawud transmitted it.

Ibn ‘Abbas reported God’s Messenger as saying, “Let the best among you call the adhan for you, and the Qur’an readers act as your imams.” Abu Dawud transmitted it.

Ibn ‘Umar told that he saw God’s messenger wearing sandals which had no hair on them. Bukhari transmitted it.

Ibn Abu Aufa told that they went on seven expeditions along with God's messenger and ate locusts along with him. (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Ibn ‘Umar said God’s messenger prohibited anyone taking two dates together before asking permission from his companions. (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Ibn ‘Abbas reported God's Messenger as saying, “The most favored horses are the sorrel.” Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud transmitted it.

Ibn ‘Umar told that God’s Messenger allotted three portions for a man and his horse, one for him and two for his horse. (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Ibn 'Abbas said that he said that "the squanderers" were those who wasted money incorrectly.

Nafi' said, "Ibn 'Umar used to strike his son for making grammatical mistakes."

Ibn 'Umar said, "When there are four, there is no harm."

Ibn 'Umar said, "Arrow-shuffling is gambling."

“Ablution is necessary for one who sleeps while he is lying flat. [Reported by Abu Da’ud and there is weakness in its chain of narrators].

and its Asl (original source) is in Abu Da’ud and At-Tirmidhi and Ibn Khuzaima graded it Sahih (sound) through Abu Huraira (rad) without mentioning the “stones”.]

Ibn ’Abbas narrated that the Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) specified al-Aqiq (a part of `Dhat Irq) for those coming from the east.’ Related by Ahmad, Abu Dawud and An-Nasa’i.

Ibn 'Abbas (RAA) narrated that he used to kiss the Black Stone and prostrate himself on it. Related by Al-Hakim and Al-Baihaqi.

The Prophet (SAW) married Maimunah (RA) when he was in the state of Ihram (during pilgrimage). [Agreed upon].

When he divorced his wife the Prophet (SAW) said to 'Umar, "Command him to take her back." [Agreed upon].

"unless the other heirs wish so." [Its chain of narrators is Hasan (good)].

Allah's Messenger (SAW) Abu Bakr and 'Umar (RA) used to offer the 'Eid prayer before the Khutbah (religious talk - sermon). [Agreed upon].

Ibn ‘Umar reported God’s messenger as saying, “Everything is decreed, even backwardness and shrewdness.” Muslim transmitted it.

Ibn ‘Umar reported God’s messenger as saying, “When any of you goes to the Friday prayer he should bathe.” (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Buraida reported God’s messenger as saying, “The believer dies with the sweat on his brow.” Tirmidhi, Nasa'i and Ibn Majah transmitted it.

Abu Rafi‘ said that God's messenger lowered Sa‘d and sprinkled water over his grave. Ibn Majah transmitted it.

‘Umar said, “Learn the rules of inheritance,” Ibn Mas'ud adding, “of divorce and of the pilgrimage,” and both saying, “for it pertains to your religion.” Darimi transmitted it.

‘A'isha said, “I never looked at (or, I never saw) God’s Messenger’s private parts.” Ibn Majah transmitted it.

Seven classes of women are prohibited by reason of consanguinity and seven by reason of relationship by marriage. He then recited, "Prohibited to you are your mothers ...” (Al-Qur’an 4:23). Bukhari transmitted it.

Ibn ‘Abbas said that God’s Messenger treated the fingers and toes as equal. Abu Dawud and Tirmidhi transmitted it.

Their houses and their graves (be filled with fire), and did not express doubt over the words," houses" and" graves".

Qatadah narrated that `Uthman (رضي الله عنه) was killed when he was ninety years old or eighty-eight years old.

The Prophet (PBUH) said, "Ruined are those who insist on hardship in matters of the Faith." He repeated this three times.

The Prophet (PBUH) said, "Trim the moustaches and let the beard grow."

The Prophet (PBUH) said, "Make Witr prayer the last of your Salat at night."

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abd ar-Rahman ibn al-Qasim that al-Qasim ibn Muhammad had done the same as Ibn Umar.

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab that Sad ibn Abi Waqqas and Abdullah ibn Umar used to be cupped while they were fasting.

Yahya related to me from Malik that Ibn Shihab used to say, "Abdullah ibn Umar would never say the talbiya while he was doing tawaf of the House."

(May Allah have mercy upon) those who got their hair clipped."

The aforesaid tradition has also been transmitted by Ibn ‘Umar from the Prophet (saws) to the same effect.
