Mishkat al-Masabih 2546
Ibn ‘Umar said that at the Farewell Pilgrimage God’s messenger performed the ‘umra first and the hajj later (The phrase used is tamata'a bil-’umra ilal-hajj which indicates gaining the advantage of the ‘umra and waiting till the time for the hajj comes without requiring to wear the ihram during the intervening period. It is a difficult phrase to translate, and therefore one can only indicate its general meaning in a translation), raising his voice in the talbiya first for the 'umra and afterwards for the hajj.

Nafi' said that Ibn ‘Umar used to stand for a long time at the first two jamras, saying "God is most great; glory be to God ; praise be to God ;” and making supplication to Him, but did not stand at the jamra of the ‘Aqaba.
Malik transmitted it.

Wabara said he asked Ibn ‘Umar when he should throw pebbles at the jamras, to which he replied, “Throw them when your imam does so.” He repeated the question and received the reply, “We used to wait for the proper time, and when the sun passed the meridian we threw them.”

Two thirds of a Mudd (of water) was brought to he Prophet (saw) (for ablution) so he began rubbing his arms. [Reported by Ahmed, and Ibn Khuzaima graded it Sahih].

Narrated Busra bint Safwan (rad):
Allah’s Messenger (saw) said, “He who touches his penis should perform ablution”. [Reported by Al-Khamsa, and At-Tirmidhi and Ibn Hibban graded it Sahih (sound).
وَعَنْ بُسْرَةَ بِنْتِ صَفْوَانَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهَا; { أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالَ:
"مَنْ مَسَّ ذَكَرَهُ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ" } أَخْرَجَهُ اَلْخَمْسَةُ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ, وَابْنُ حِبَّان َ 1 .

Ibn 'Abbas (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) did not trot during the seven circuits made in the final Tawaf when he returned to Makkah.’ Related by the five Imams except at-Tirmidhi. Al-Hakim graded it as Sahih.
وَعَنِ اِبْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا; أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ لَمْ يَرْمُلْ فِي اَلسَّبْعِ اَلَّذِي أَفَاضَ فِيهِ } رَوَاهُ اَلْخَمْسَةُ إِلَّا اَلتِّرْمِذِيَّ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اَلْحَاكِمُ. 1 .

Ibn 'Umar (RAA) narrated that The Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) saw a woman who was killed in one of his expeditions, so he disapproved the killing of women and children. Agreed upon.

وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ - رضى الله عنه - [ قَالَ ]: سَمِعْتُ اَلنَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم - 1 يَقُولُ: {
" كَيْفَ تُقَدَّسُ أُمَّةٌ, لَا يُؤْخَذُ مِنْ شَدِيدِهِمْ لِضَعِيفِهِمْ ?" } رَوَاهُ اِبْنُ حِبَّانَ 2 .

When a period of four months elapses, the one who swears to stay away from his wife must be made to return to her or divorce her, and the divorce is not valid till the husband himself pronounces it.

Ibn ‘Umar said God’s Messenger prohibited shighar, which means that a man gives his daughter in marriage on condition that the other gives his daughter to him in marriage without any dower being paid by either. In a version by Muslim he said, “There is no shighar in Islam."

Ibn 'Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) reported:
Whenever the Prophet (PBUH) and his army ascended a height, they would proclaim: "Allahu Akbar (Allah is Greatest)," and when they climbed down, they would proclaim: "Subhan Allah (Allah is free from imperfection)."

It was narrated from Ibn Umar that:
The Prophet (SAW) said: "prayers at night are (offered) two by two, then if you fear that dawn will come, pray witr with one."
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" صَلاَةُ اللَّيْلِ مَثْنَى مَثْنَى فَإِذَا خِفْتَ الصُّبْحَ فَأَوْتِرْ بِوَاحِدَةٍ " .

Yahya related to me that Malik said, "I have heard from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar used to see his son, Ubaydullah ibn Abdullah, doing voluntary prayers on a journey,and he would not disapprove of it."
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ بَلَغَنِي عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ، كَانَ يَرَى ابْنَهُ عُبَيْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَتَنَفَّلُ فِي السَّفَرِ فَلاَ يُنْكِرُ عَلَيْهِ .

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab that Said ibn al- Musayyab said, "The muhsanat among women are those who have husbands." That referred to the fact that Allah has made fornication haram.
حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ الْمُحْصَنَاتُ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ هُنَّ أُولاَتُ الأَزْوَاجِ وَيَرْجِعُ ذَلِكَ إِلَى أَنَّ اللَّهَ حَرَّمَ الزِّنَا .
