Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3772
Narrated Anas bin Malik:
That the Messenger of Allah (SAW) was asked: "Which of the people of your house are most beloved to you?" He said: "Al-Hasan and Al-Husain." And he used to say to Fatimah: "Call my two sons for me so that I may smell them." And he would hug them.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي يُوسُفُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، يَقُولُ سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَىُّ أَهْلِ بَيْتِكَ أَحَبُّ إِلَيْكَ قَالَ " الْحَسَنُ وَالْحُسَيْنُ " . وَكَانَ يَقُولُ لِفَاطِمَةَ " ادْعِي لِي ابْنَىَّ " . فَيَشُمُّهُمَا وَيَضُمُّهُمَا إِلَيْهِ . هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ أَنَسٍ

Sunan an-Nasa'i 3816
It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said:
"A woman traveled by sea and vowed to fast for a month, but she died before she could fast. Her sister came to the Prophet and told him about that, and he told her to fast on her behalf."
أَخْبَرَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْعَسْكَرِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سُلَيْمَانَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ الْبَطِينِ، عَنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ رَكِبَتِ امْرَأَةٌ الْبَحْرَ فَنَذَرَتْ أَنْ تَصُومَ شَهْرًا فَمَاتَتْ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَصُومَ فَأَتَتْ أُخْتُهَا النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَذَكَرَتْ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَأَمَرَهَا أَنْ تَصُومَ عَنْهَا .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 657
It was narrated that Sa'eed bin Jubair said concerning Ibn 'Umar:
"We were with him (Ibn 'Umar) in Jam' (Muzdalifah), and he called the Adhan, then the Iqamah, then he led us in praying Maghrib. Then he said: 'The prayer,' and he led us in praying 'Isha', two Rak'ahs. I said: 'What is this prayer?' He said: 'This is how I prayed with the Messenger of Allah (S.A.W) in this place.'"
أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَهُ بِجَمْعٍ فَأَذَّنَ ثُمَّ أَقَامَ فَصَلَّى بِنَا الْمَغْرِبَ ثُمَّ قَالَ الصَّلاَةَ . فَصَلَّى بِنَا الْعِشَاءَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ فَقُلْتُ مَا هَذِهِ الصَّلاَةُ قَالَ هَكَذَا صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي هَذَا الْمَكَانِ .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 133
It was narrated from Ibn Buraidah that his father said:
"The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) used to perform Wudu' for every prayer. One the day of the Conquest (of Makkah), he offered all the prayers with one Wudu'. 'Umar said to him: 'You have done something that you never did before.' He said: 'I did that deliberately, O 'Umar.'"

" عَمْدًا فَعَلْتُهُ يَا عُمَرُ " .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 726
It was narrated that Tariq bin 'Abdullah Al-Muharibi said:
'When you are praying, do not spit to the front or to your right. Spit behind you or to your left if there is no one there, otherwise do this.' And he spat beneath his foot and rubbed it.'"
أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَنْصُورٌ، عَنْ رِبْعِيٍّ، عَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْمُحَارِبِيِّ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" إِذَا كُنْتَ تُصَلِّي فَلاَ تَبْزُقَنَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ وَلاَ عَنْ يَمِينِكَ وَابْصُقْ خَلْفَكَ أَوْ تِلْقَاءَ شِمَالِكَ إِنْ كَانَ فَارِغًا وَإِلاَّ فَهَكَذَا " . وَبَزَقَ تَحْتَ رِجْلِهِ وَدَلَكَهُ .

It was narrated that 'Abdul-Malik bin Sa'eed said:
"I heard Abu Humaid and Abu Usaid say: 'The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "When any one of you enters the Masjid, let him say: 'Allahumma aftahli abwaba rahmatik (O Allah, open to me the gates of your mercy). And when he leaves let him say: Allahumma inni as'aluka min fadlik (O Allah, I ask You of Your bounty).'"

" إِذَا دَخَلَ أَحَدُكُمُ الْمَسْجِدَ فَلْيَقُلِ اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ وَإِذَا خَرَجَ فَلْيَقُلِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ " .

Ibn 'Abbas (Allah be pleased with him) reported that there was a person in the company of Allah's Messenger (may peace' be upon him) whose camel broke his neck and he died. thereupon Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) said:
Wash him, but do not apply perfume and do not cover his face, for he would be raised (on the Day of Resurrection) pronouncing Talbiya.
وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، - رضى الله عنهما - قَالَ كَانَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَجُلٌ فَوَقَصَتْهُ نَاقَتُهُ فَمَاتَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" اغْسِلُوهُ وَلاَ تُقَرِّبُوهُ طِيبًا وَلاَ تُغَطُّوا وَجْهَهُ فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يُلَبِّي " .

" لاَ تَبِيعُوا الذَّهَبَ بِالذَّهَبِ إِلاَّ وَزْنًا بِوَزْنٍ " .

The Prophet said: "Hurry up with the funeral (procession) for if it was good, you are advancing it to good, and if it was evil, then you are taking it off your necks."

" أَسْرِعُوا بِالْجَنَازَةِ فَإِنْ يَكُنْ خَيْرًا تُقَدِّمُوهَا إِلَيْهِ وَإِنْ يَكُنْ شَرًّا تَضَعُوهُ عَنْ رِقَابِكُمْ " . وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .

Abu Sa'eed narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said:
"The poor Muhajirin will enter Paradise before the rich among them by five hundred years."

" فُقَرَاءُ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ قَبْلَ أَغْنِيَائِهِمْ بِخَمْسِمِائَةِ سَنَةٍ " . وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو وَجَابِرٍ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ .

Jabir reported that Umm Salama sought permission from Allah's messenger (may Allah's peace upon him) tor getting herself cupped. The Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) asked Abu Taiba to cup her. He (Jabir) said:
I think he (Abu Taiba) was her faster brother or a young boy before entering upon the adolescent period.

فَأَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَبَا طَيْبَةَ أَنْ يَحْجُمَهَا . قَالَ حَسِبْتُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ كَانَ أَخَاهَا
مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ أَوْ غُلاَمًا لَمْ يَحْتَلِمْ .

Sahl b. Sa'd reported it from Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) that a person performs deeds like the deeds of the people of Paradise apparently before people and he would be amongst the dwellers of Hell and a person acts apparently like the people of Hell, but (in fact) he would be among the dwellers of Paradise.
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْقَارِيَّ - عَنْ
أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" إِنَّ
الرَّجُلَ لَيَعْمَلُ عَمَلَ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ فِيمَا يَبْدُو لِلنَّاسِ وَهُوَ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ . وَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَعْمَلُ
عَمَلَ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فِيمَا يَبْدُو لِلنَّاسِ وَهُوَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ " .

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying:
If you survive for a time you would certainly see people who would have whips in their hands like the tail of an ox. They would get up in the morning under the wrath of Allah and they would get into the evening with the anger of Allah.
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدٌ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ حُبَابٍ - حَدَّثَنَا أَفْلَحُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا
عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، مَوْلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله

" يُوشِكُ إِنْ طَالَتْ بِكَ مُدَّةٌ أَنْ تَرَى قَوْمًا فِي أَيْدِيهِمْ مِثْلُ أَذْنَابِ الْبَقَرِ يَغْدُونَ
فِي غَضَبِ اللَّهِ وَيَرُوحُونَ فِي سَخَطِ اللَّهِ " .

Do not take down anything from me, and he who took down anything from me except the Qur'an, he should efface that and narrate from me, for there is no harm in it and he who attributed any falsehood to me-and Hammam said: I think he also said:" deliberately" -he should in fact find his abode in the Hell-Fire.

" لاَ تَكْتُبُوا عَنِّي وَمَنْ
كَتَبَ عَنِّي غَيْرَ الْقُرْآنِ فَلْيَمْحُهُ وَحَدِّثُوا عَنِّي وَلاَ حَرَجَ وَمَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَىَّ - قَالَ هَمَّامٌ أَحْسِبُهُ
قَالَ - مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ " .

Sunan Abi Dawud 3239
A similar tradition has also been narrated by Ibn 'Abbas through a different chain of narrators. This version has:
"Shroud him in two garments."
Abu Dawud said: The narrator Sulaiman said the Ayyub said: "his two garments," 'Amr said: "tow garments," Ibn 'Ubaid said that Ayyub said: "in two garments" and Amr said: "in his two garments." Sulaiman alone added: "do not put any perfume on him."

Sunan Abi Dawud 2416
Narrated Abu 'Ubaid:
I attended the 'Id (prayer) along with 'Umar. He offered prayer before the sermon. He then said: The Messenger of Allah (saws) prohibited fasting on these two days. As regards Id al-Adha, you eat the meat of your sacrificial animals. As for 'Id al-Fitr, you break (i.e. end) your fast.

The Prophet (saws) said: If anyone harms (others), Allah will harm him, and if anyone shows hostility to others, Allah will show hostility to him.

'Abdullah ibn as-Samit said, "I said to Abu Dharr, 'I passed by
'Abdu'r-Rahman ibn Umm al-Hakam and I greeted him and he did not answer
me at all. He said, 'Nephew, what harm have suffered from that? Someone
better than him answered you ? the angel on his right."

Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon hlmg) said:
I have been given superiority over the other prophets in six respects: I have been given words which are concise but comprehensive in meaning; I have been helped by terror (in the hearts of enemies): spoils have been made lawful to me: the earth has been made for me clean and a place of worship; I have been sent to all mankind and the line of prophets is closed with me.

There is never a day wherein servants (of God) get up at morn, but are not visited by two angels. One of them says: 0 Allah, give him more who spends (for the sake of Allah), and the other says: 0 Allah, bring destruction to one who withholds.

Every servant of Allah who observes fast for a day in the way of Allah, Allah would remove, because of this day, his face farther from the Fire (of Hell) to the extent of seventy years' distance.

Sunan Ibn Majah 465
Umm Hani' bint Abu Talib narrated that :
When it was the year of the Conquest (of Makkah), the Messenger of Allah got up to perform a bath and Fatimah screened him. Then he took his garment and wrapped himself in it (such that it became like the towel used to dry oneself).
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ، أَنَّ أَبَا مُرَّةَ، مَوْلَى عَقِيلٍ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ أُمَّ هَانِئٍ بِنْتَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ حَدَّثَتْهُ أَنَّهُ، لَمَّا كَانَ عَامُ الْفَتْحِ قَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ إِلَى غُسْلِهِ فَسَتَرَتْ عَلَيْهِ فَاطِمَةُ ثُمَّ أَخَذَ ثَوْبَهُ فَالْتَحَفَ بِهِ .

The Prophet entered upon her, and a freed slave girl of hers concealed herself. The Prophet asked: "Have her periods begun?" She said: "Yes." He tore a piece of his turban and said: "Cover your head with this."

"The Messenger of Allah performed prayer, then a man said: 'Who was looking for the red camel?' The Prophet said: 'May you not find it! The mosques were built for that for which they were built.'"

" لاَ وَجَدْتَهُ إِنَّمَا بُنِيَتِ الْمَسَاجِدُ لِمَا بُنِيَتْ لَهُ " .

“Anyone whose soul leaves his body and he is free of three things, will enter Paradise: Arrogance, stealing from the spoils of war, and debt.”

" مَنْ فَارَقَ الرُّوحُ الْجَسَدَ وَهُوَ بَرِيءٌ مِنْ ثَلاَثٍ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ مِنَ الْكِبْرِ وَالْغُلُولِ وَالدَّيْنِ " .

(109)] and ‘Say: Allah is One.”. [Al-Ikhlas (112)]

“When anyone of you has finished his prayer, let him give his

a share of that, for Allah will put something good in his house
because of that prayer.”

" إِذَا قَضَى أَحَدُكُمْ صَلاَتَهُ فَلْيَجْعَلْ لِبَيْتِهِ مِنْهَا نَصِيبًا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ جَاعِلٌ فِي بَيْتِهِ مِنْ صَلاَتِهِ خَيْرًا " .

4265 It was
narrated from Anas that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said:
“None of
you should wish for death because of some harm that befalls
him. If
he must wish for death, let him say: ‘O Allah, keep me alive
so
long as living is good for me and cause me to die when death is
good
for me.’”
حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى اللَّيْثِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ صُهَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ :
" لاَ يَتَمَنَّى أَحَدُكُمُ الْمَوْتَ لِضُرٍّ نَزَلَ بِهِ فَإِنْ كَانَ لاَ بُدَّ مُتَمَنِّيًا الْمَوْتَ فَلْيَقُلِ : اللَّهُمَّ أَحْيِنِي مَا كَانَتِ الْحَيَاةُ خَيْرًا لِي وَتَوَفَّنِي إِذَا كَانَتِ الْوَفَاةُ خَيْرًا لِي " .

“The disbeliever will be made huge so much so that his molar
will
be bigger than (Mount) Uhud, and the size of his body in relation
to
his molar will be like the size of the body of anyone of you in
relation to his molar.”

" إِنَّ الْكَافِرَ لَيَعْظُمُ حَتَّى إِنَّ ضِرْسَهُ لأَعْظَمُ مِنْ أُحُدٍ وَفَضِيلَةُ جَسَدِهِ عَلَى ضِرْسِهِ كَفَضِيلَةِ جَسَدِ أَحَدِكُمْ عَلَى ضِرْسِهِ " .

Yahya related to me from Malik that Yahya ibn Said said that he had heard al-Qasim ibn Muhammad say that a man came to Abdullah ibn Abbas and said to him, "I have an orphan and he has camels. Can I drink from the camels' milk?" Ibn Abbas said, "If you search for the lost camels of his and treat the camels' mange and fill in the cracks in their water basin and give it water on the day it drinks, then drink it without doing harm to the suckling camels by milking them excessively."
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْقَاسِمَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ، يَقُولُ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ إِنَّ لِي يَتِيمًا وَلَهُ إِبِلٌ أَفَأَشْرَبُ مِنْ لَبَنِ إِبِلِهِ فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ إِنْ كُنْتَ تَبْغِي ضَالَّةَ إِبِلِهِ وَتَهْنَأُ جَرْبَاهَا وَتَلُطُّ حَوْضَهَا وَتَسْقِيهَا يَوْمَ وِرْدِهَا فَاشْرَبْ غَيْرَ مُضِرٍّ بِنَسْلٍ وَلاَ نَاهِكٍ فِي الْحَلْبِ .

Yahya related to me from Yahya ibn Said that Umar ibn al-Khattab asked a man what his name was. He said, "Jamra (live coal)." "The son of who?" He said, "Ibn Shihab (meteor, flame)." "From whom?" He said, "From al-Huraqa (burning)." "Where do you live?" He said, "At Harrat an-Nar (lava field of the fire). "At which one of them?" He said, "At Dhati Ladha (one with flames)." Umar said, "Go and look at your family - they have been burned."
Yahya added, "It was as Umar ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, said."
وَحَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، قَالَ لِرَجُلٍ مَا اسْمُكَ فَقَالَ جَمْرَةُ . فَقَالَ ابْنُ مَنْ فَقَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ . قَالَ مِمَّنْ قَالَ مِنَ الْحُرَقَةِ . قَالَ أَيْنَ مَسْكَنُكَ قَالَ بِحَرَّةِ النَّارِ . قَالَ بِأَيِّهَا قَالَ بِذَاتِ لَظًى . قَالَ عُمَرُ أَدْرِكْ أَهْلَكَ فَقَدِ احْتَرَقُوا . قَالَ فَكَانَ كَمَا قَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ رضى الله عنه .

Narrated Anas bin Malik:
Allah's Prophet said to Ubai bin Ka`b, "Allah has ordered me to recite Qur'an to you." Ubai said, "Did Allah mention me by name to you?" The Prophet said, "Yes." Ubai said, "Have I been mentioned by the Lord of the Worlds?" The Prophet said, "Yes." Then Ubai burst into tears.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي دَاوُدَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الْمُنَادِي، حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ لأُبَىِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ " إِنَّ اللَّهَ أَمَرَنِي أَنْ أُقْرِئَكَ الْقُرْآنَ ". قَالَ آللَّهُ سَمَّانِي لَكَ قَالَ " نَعَمْ ". قَالَ وَقَدْ ذُكِرْتُ عِنْدَ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ قَالَ " نَعَمْ ". فَذَرَفَتْ عَيْنَاهُ.

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that:
When the Prophet (SAW) said: "Sami Allahu liman hamidah (Allah hears the one who praises Him),' he said: "Allahumma Rabbana wa lakal-hamd, mil'as-samawati wa mil'al-ardi wa mil'ama shi'ta min shai'in ba'd ( O Allah, our Lord, to You be the Praise, filling the heavens, filling the Earth, and filling whatever else You will.)"
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ سَيْفٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ إِذَا قَالَ " سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ " . قَالَ " اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ مِلْءَ السَّمَوَاتِ وَمِلْءَ الأَرْضِ وَمِلْءَ مَا شِئْتَ مِنْ شَىْءٍ بَعْدُ " .

It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin 'Amr said:
"I saw the Prophet (SAW) praying sitting down and I said: 'I was told that you said that the prayer of one who is sitting down is worth half of the prayer of the one who is standing up.' He said: 'Yes indeed, but I am not like any one of you.'"
أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورٌ، عَنْ هِلاَلِ بْنِ يِسَافٍ، عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُصَلِّي جَالِسًا فَقُلْتُ حُدِّثْتُ أَنَّكَ قُلْتَ " إِنَّ صَلاَةَ الْقَاعِدِ عَلَى النِّصْفِ مِنْ صَلاَةِ الْقَائِمِ " . وَأَنْتَ تُصَلِّي قَاعِدًا . قَالَ " أَجَلْ وَلَكِنِّي لَسْتُ كَأَحَدٍ مِنْكُمْ " .

It was narrated from Sa'd bin Hisham:
That he came to the Mother of the Believers Aishah and asked her about the prayers of the Messenger of Allah (SAW). She said: "He used to pray eight rak'ahs at night and pray witr with the ninth, then he would pray two rak'ahs sitting down."
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْخَلَنْجِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ، - يَعْنِي مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ - قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُصَيْنُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ، أَنَّهُ وَفَدَ عَلَى أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَائِشَةَ فَسَأَلَهَا عَنْ صَلاَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَتْ كَانَ يُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ ثَمَانَ رَكَعَاتٍ وَيُوتِرُ بِالتَّاسِعَةِ وَيُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ . مُخْتَصَرٌ .

Muhammad bin Al-Muthanna informed us, he said:
"Yahya bin Sa'eed narrated to us from Shu'bah, from Qatadah, from Zurarah, from Imran bin Husain, who said
The Messenger of Allah (SAW) prayed Zuhr, and a man recited 'Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High.' When he finished praying, he said: 'Who recited: 'Glorify the Name of Your Lord, the Most High?' A man said: 'I did.' He said: 'I knew that someone was competing with me in it.'"
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ زُرَارَةَ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، قَالَ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الظُّهْرَ فَقَرَأَ رَجُلٌ بِـ { سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى } فَلَمَّا صَلَّى قَالَ " مَنْ قَرَأَ بِـ { سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى } " . قَالَ رَجُلٌ أَنَا . قَالَ " قَدْ عَلِمْتُ أَنَّ بَعْضَهُمْ خَالَجَنِيهَا " .

Yahya related to me from Malik from Zayd ibn Aslam from Ata ibn Yasar and from Busr ibn Said and from al-Araj-all of whom related it from Abu Hurayra - that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Whoever manages to do a raka of subh before the sun has risen has done subh in time, and whoever manages to do a raka of asr before the sun has set has done asr in time."
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، وَعَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، وَعَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، كُلُّهُمْ يُحَدِّثُونَهُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" مَنْ أَدْرَكَ رَكْعَةً مِنَ الصُّبْحِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ الصُّبْحَ وَمَنْ أَدْرَكَ رَكْعَةً مِنَ الْعَصْرِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ الْعَصْرَ " .

Yahya related to me from Malik from Zayd ibn Aslam from lyad ibn Abdullah ibn Sad ibn Abi Sarh al-Amiri that he had heard Abu Said al- Khudri say, "We used to pay the zakat al-fitr with a sa of wheat, or a sa of barley, or a sa of dates, or a sa of dried sour milk, or a sa of raisins, using the sa of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace . "
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عِيَاضِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَرْحٍ الْعَامِرِيِّ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ، يَقُولُ كُنَّا نُخْرِجُ زَكَاةَ الْفِطْرِ صَاعًا مِنْ طَعَامٍ أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ أَقِطٍ أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ زَبِيبٍ وَذَلِكَ بِصَاعِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم .

Ibn `Abbas narrated from Ubayy bin Ka`b that :
whenever the Messenger of Allah (saws) would mention someone and supplicate for him, he would begin with himself (saws).
حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْكُوفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قَطَنٍ، عَنْ حَمْزَةَ الزَّيَّاتِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ أُبَىِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ إِذَا ذَكَرَ أَحَدًا فَدَعَا لَهُ بَدَأَ بِنَفْسِهِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ صَحِيحٌ وَأَبُو قَطَنٍ اسْمُهُ عَمْرُو بْنُ الْهَيْثَمِ .

حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ وَجَنَازَةُ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ
" اهْتَزَّ لَهُ عَرْشُ الرَّحْمَنِ " . وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أُسَيْدِ بْنِ حُضَيْرٍ وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ وَرُمَيْثَةَ .هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .

"Whoever catches up with a Rak'ah of the Subh prayer before the sun rises, then he has caught up with Subh, and whoever catches up with a Rak'ah of 'Asr prayer before the sun sets, then he has caught up with 'Asr."

Abdullah ibn Shaqiq said:
"I asked 'A'isha (may Allah the Exalted be well pleased with her) about the fasting of Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace). She said: “He used to fast until we would say: ‘He has fasted,’ and he used to break fast until we would say: ‘He has broken fast.’” She also said: “Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) did not fast for a whole month after arriving in Medina, with the exception of Ramadan.’
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ، عَنْ صِيَامِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم، قَالَتْ: كَانَ يَصُومُ حَتَّى نَقُولَ قَدْ صَامَ، وَيُفْطِرُ حَتَّى نَقُولَ قَدْ أَفْطَرَ قَالَتْ: وَمَا صَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم، شَهْرًا كَامِلا مُنْذُ قَدِمَ الْمَدِينَةَ إِلا رَمَضَانَ.

'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that her foster-uncle whose name was Aflah sought permission from her (to enter the house) but she observed seclusion from him, and informed Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) who said to her:
Don't observe veil from him for he is Mahram (one with whom marriage cannot be contracted) on account of fosterage as one is Mahram on account of consanguinity.

" لاَ تَحْتَجِبِي مِنْهُ فَإِنَّهُ يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ النَّسَبِ " .

وَحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ، وَهَارُونُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الأَيْلِيُّ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ عِيسَى، - وَاللَّفْظُ لِهَارُونَ وَأَحْمَدَ - قَالَ أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ أَخْبَرَنَا وَقَالَ الآخَرَانِ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي مَخْرَمَةُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ عَائِشَةَ، تُحَدِّثُ أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ
" لاَ تُقْطَعُ الْيَدُ إِلاَّ فِي رُبْعِ دِينَارٍ فَمَا فَوْقَهُ " .

Sahih Muslim 1785 d
It has been narrated through a different chain of transmitters on the authority of Abu Wa'il who said:
I heard Sahl b. Hunaif say at Siffin: Blame (the hollowness) of your views about your religion. I thought to myself on the day of Abu Jandal that if I could turn down the order of the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him), I would. The situation was so difficult that if we mended it at one place, it was rent at another.
وَحَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ مِغْوَلٍ، عَنْ أَبِي حَصِينٍ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَهْلَ بْنَ حُنَيْفٍ، بِصِفِّينَ يَقُولُ اتَّهِمُوا رَأْيَكُمْ عَلَى دِينِكُمْ فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنِي يَوْمَ أَبِي جَنْدَلٍ وَلَوْ أَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ أَرُدَّ أَمْرَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم - مَا فَتَحْنَا مِنْهُ فِي خُصْمٍ إِلاَّ انْفَجَرَ عَلَيْنَا مِنْهُ خُصْمٌ .

Sahih Muslim 1977 c
Umm Salama reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) having said this:
When any one of you intending to sacrifice the animal enters in the month (of Dhu'l-Hijja) he should not get his hair or nails touched (cut). It was said to Sufyan that some of the (scholars) did not deem this hadith to be Maffu'. He said: But I deem it as Marfu' (i. e. chain of narration traceable right up to the Holy Prophet).
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ الْمَكِّيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ،
بْنِ عَوْفٍ سَمِعَ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيَّبِ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" إِذَا دَخَلَتِ الْعَشْرُ وَأَرَادَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يُضَحِّيَ فَلاَ يَمَسَّ مِنْ شَعَرِهِ وَبَشَرِهِ شَيْئًا " . قِيلَ
لِسُفْيَانَ فَإِنَّ بَعْضَهُمْ لاَ يَرْفَعُهُ قَالَ لَكِنِّي أَرْفَعُهُ .

"The charity collector of the Prophet came to us. So he took the charity from our rich to our poor. I was a orphan boy, so he came to me and gave me a young she-camel from it."
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْكِنْدِيُّ الْكُوفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ، عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ قَدِمَ عَلَيْنَا مُصَدِّقُ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَخَذَ الصَّدَقَةَ مِنْ أَغْنِيَائِنَا فَجَعَلَهَا فِي فُقَرَائِنَا وَكُنْتُ غُلاَمًا يَتِيمًا فَأَعْطَانِي مِنْهَا قَلُوصًا . قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ .

Abu Maisarah narrated from 'Aishah that they had slaughtered a sheep, so the Prophet (s.a.w) said:
"What remains of it?" She said: "Nothing remains of it except its shoulder." He said: "All of it remains except its shoulder."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي مَيْسَرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهُمْ ذَبَحُوا شَاةً فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَا بَقِيَ مِنْهَا " . قَالَتْ مَا بَقِيَ مِنْهَا إِلاَّ كَتِفُهَا . قَالَ " بَقِيَ كُلُّهَا غَيْرَ كَتِفِهَا " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ . وَأَبُو مَيْسَرَةَ هُوَ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ اسْمُهُ عَمْرُو بْنُ شُرَحْبِيلَ .

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said:
"The Euphrates shall soon uncover a treasure of gold, so whoever witnesses it, let him not take anything from it."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ خُبَيْبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، حَفْصِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" يُوشِكُ الْفُرَاتُ يَحْسِرُ عَنْ كَنْزٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَمَنْ حَضَرَهُ فَلاَ يَأْخُذْ مِنْهُ شَيْئًا " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .

I have held covenant with Thee which Thou wouldst not break, so for any believer whom I curse or beat, make that an expiation on the Day of Resurrection.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ
" اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي اتَّخَذْتُ عِنْدَكَ عَهْدًا لَنْ تُخْلِفَنِيهِ
فَأَيُّمَا مُؤْمِنٍ سَبَبْتُهُ أَوْ جَلَدْتُهُ فَاجْعَلْ ذَلِكَ كَفَّارَةً لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .

Abu Sirma reported that when the time of the death of Abu Ayyub Ansari drew near, he said:
I used to conceal from you a thing which I heard from Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) and I heard Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Had you not committed sins, Allah would have brought into existence a creation that would have committed sin (and Allah) would have forgiven them.

" لَوْلاَ أَنَّكُمْ تُذْنِبُونَ لَخَلَقَ اللَّهُ خَلْقًا يُذْنِبُونَ يَغْفِرُ لَهُمْ " .

Abu Bakr b. Abdullah b. Qais reported on the authority of his father that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said that in Paradise there would be for a believer a tent of a single hollowed pearl the breadth of which would be sixty miles. It would be meant for a believer and the believers would go around it and none would be able to see the others.
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ أَبِي قُدَامَةَ، - وَهُوَ الْحَارِثُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ - عَنْ أَبِي،
عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم
قَالَ
" إِنَّ لِلْمُؤْمِنِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ لَخَيْمَةً مِنْ لُؤْلُؤَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ مُجَوَّفَةٍ طُولُهَا سِتُّونَ مِيلاً لِلْمُؤْمِنِ فِيهَا
أَهْلُونَ يَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمُؤْمِنُ فَلاَ يَرَى بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضًا " .

Narrated Al-Bara bin Azib:
Allah's Apostle was given a silken garment, and its beauty and delicacy astonished the people. On that, Allah's Apostle said, "No doubt, the handkerchiefs of Sa`d bin Mu`adh in Paradise are better than this."
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْبَرَاءَ بْنَ عَازِبٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ أُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِثَوْبٍ مِنْ حَرِيرٍ، فَجَعَلُوا يَعْجَبُونَ مِنْ حُسْنِهِ وَلِينِهِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" لَمَنَادِيلُ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ هَذَا ".

Allah's Wrath became severe on him whom the Prophet had killed in Allah's Cause. Allah's Wrath became severe on the people who caused the face of Allah's Prophet to bleed.
حَدَّثَنِي مَخْلَدُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الأُمَوِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ اشْتَدَّ غَضَبُ اللَّهِ عَلَى مَنْ قَتَلَهُ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ، اشْتَدَّ غَضَبُ اللَّهِ عَلَى قَوْمٍ دَمَّوْا وَجْهَ نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم.

An ant stung a prophet. He ordered a colony of ants to be burned. Allah revealed to him : because an ant stung you, you have perished a community which glorifies Me.

" إِنَّ نَمْلَةً قَرَصَتْ نَبِيًّا مِنَ الأَنْبِيَاءِ فَأَمَرَ بِقَرْيَةِ النَّمْلِ فَأُحْرِقَتْ فَأَوْحَى اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ فِي أَنْ قَرَصَتْكَ نَمْلَةٌ أَهْلَكْتَ أُمَّةً مِنَ الأُمَمِ تُسَبِّحُ " .

Narrated Ibn 'Umar:
The Messenger of Allah (saws) would recite to us a surah (according to the version of Ibn Numair) outside the prayer (the agreed version goes), then he would prostrate along with him, and none of us could find a place for his forehead.

Sunan Abi Dawud 1259
Narrated 'Abd Allah b. 'Abbas:
The Messenger of Allah (saws) used to recite in both rak'ahs of the dawn prayer: "Say: We believe in Allah and in the revelation given to us" (3:84) . This is in the first rak'ah and in the second rak'ah (he recited): "We believe in Allah and bear witness that we submit ourself (to Him)." (3:52).

Anas bin Malik said “We came to Khaibar. We bestowed the conquest of fortress (on us), the beauty of Safiyyah daughter of Huyayy was mentioned to him (the Prophet). Her husband was killed (in the battle) and she was a bride. The Apostle of Allaah(saws) chose her for himself. He came out with her till we reached Sadd Al Sahba’ where she was purified. So he cohabited with her.
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ قَدِمْنَا خَيْبَرَ فَلَمَّا فَتَحَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى الْحِصْنَ ذُكِرَ لَهُ جَمَالُ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ حُيَىٍّ وَقَدْ قُتِلَ زَوْجُهَا وَكَانَتْ عَرُوسًا فَاصْطَفَاهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لِنَفْسِهِ فَخَرَجَ بِهَا حَتَّى بَلَغْنَا سُدَّ الصَّهْبَاءِ حَلَّتْ فَبَنَى بِهَا .

Sahih Muslim 90 a
It is narrated on the authority of 'Abdullah b. Amr b. al-'As that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) observed:
Abusing one's parents is one of the major sins. They (the hearers) said: Messenger of Allah, does a man abuse his parents too? He (the Holy Prophet) replied: Yes, one abuses the father of another man, who in turn abuses his father. One abuses his mother and he in turn abuses his (the former's) mother.

Narrated Ubayy ibn Ka'b:
The Messenger of Allah (saws) used to observe witr with (reciting) "Glorify the name of thy Lord, the most High" (Surah 87), "Say O disbelievers" (Surah 109), and "Say, He is Allah, the One, Allah, the eternally besought of all" (112).

Abu Darda' reported Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) as saying:
Is any one of you incapable of reciting a third of the Qur'an in a night? They (the Companions) asked: How could one recite a third of the Qur'an (in a night)? Upon this he (the Holy Prophet) said: "'Say: He is Allah, One' (Qur'an. cxii) is equivalent to a third of the Qur'an."

It was narrated from Sahl bin Sa'd that:
The Messenger of Allah said: "This goodness contains many treasures, and for those there are keys. So glad tidings to the one whom Allah makes a key to good and a lock for evil, and woe to the one whom Allah makes a key to evil and a lock to good."

“(Allah says) O son of Adam! I have given you two things which you do not deserve (except by mercy of Allah (SWT)): I allow you to dispose of a share of your wealth when you are on your deathbed, in order to cleanse and purify you, and my slaves pray for you after your life is over.”

“When the Messenger of Allah

raised his head from Ruku’ in the Subh prayer, he said: ‘O
Allah,
save Al-Walid bin Walid, Salamah bin Hisham and ‘Ayyash bin Abu
Rabi’ah, and the oppressed in Makkah. O Allah, tighten Your grip on
Mudar, and send them years of famine like the famine of Yusuf.”

‘Whoever offers the funeral prayer will have one Qirat; and
whoever attends until the burial is over, will have two Qirat. By the
One in Whose Hand is the soul of Muhammad! The Qirat is greater than
this (mountain of) Uhud.”

" تَكُونُ فِتَنٌ عَلَى أَبْوَابِهَا دُعَاةٌ إِلَى النَّارِ فَأَنْ تَمُوتَ وَأَنْتَ عَاضٌّ عَلَى جِذْلِ شَجَرَةٍ خَيْرٌ لَكَ مِنْ أَنْ تَتْبَعَ أَحَدًا مِنْهُمْ " .

It was narrated that Abu Umamah bin Sahl bin Hunaif said. We were with Uthman when he was besieged in the house. He said:
Why would they kill me? I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: `It is not permissible (to shed) the blood of a Muslim except in three cases: If a man disbelieves after becoming Muslim, or commits zina after being married or kills someone and is executed in retaliation.`

Whilst we were in Mina, I saw `Ali bin Abi Talib (رضي الله عنه) on a camel, saying: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) says: `These are days of eating and drinking, so no one should fast.` And he followed the people [to convey this message]

It was narrated from Mu`adh bin `Abdur-Rahman bin ‘Uthman at-Taimi that his father said:
We were with Talhah bin `Ubaidullah and we were in ihram. A bird was given to him as a gift when Talhah was sleeping. Some of us ate and some of us refrained. When Talhah woke up, he approved of those who had eaten and said: “We ate it with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)”.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ وَنَحْنُ حُرُمٌ فَأُهْدِيَ لَهُ طَيْرٌ وَطَلْحَةُ رَاقِدٌ فَمِنَّا مَنْ أَكَلَ وَمِنَّا مَنْ تَوَرَّعَ فَلَمَّا اسْتَيْقَظَ طَلْحَةُ وَفَّقَ مَنْ أَكَلَهُ وَقَالَ أَكَلْنَاهُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that:
When the Prophet (SAW) wanted to prostrate after bowing, he would say: "Allahumma, Rabbana wa lakal-hamd, mil'as-samawati wa mil'al-ardi wa mil'ama shi'ta min shai'in ba'd ( O Allah, our Lord, to You be the Praise, filling the heavens, filling the Earth, and filling whatever else You will.)"

Sunan an-Nasa'i 1219
It was narrated that Zaid bin Arqam said:
"We used to speak to each other during the prayer, saying whatever was necessary, at the time of the Messenger of Allah (SAW), until this verse was revealed: Guard strictly (five obligatory) As-Salawat (the prayers) especially the middle Salah (i.e. the best prayer- 'Asr). And stand before Allah with obedience (and do not speak to others during the Salah (prayers)), so we were commanded to be silent."

Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Said from Abu Bakr ibn Hazm thatUmar ibn Abd al-Aziz had asked him what people said about the 'irrevocable' divorce, and Abu Bakr had replied that Aban ibn Uthman had clarified that it was declared only once. Umar ibn Abd al- Aziz said, "Even if divorce had to be declared a thousand times, the'irrevocable' would use them all up. A person who says, 'irrevocably' has cast the furthest limit."
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ حَزْمٍ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، قَالَ لَهُ الْبَتَّةُ مَا يَقُولُ النَّاسُ فِيهَا قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ كَانَ أَبَانُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ يَجْعَلُهَا وَاحِدَةً . فَقَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ لَوْ كَانَ الطَّلاَقُ أَلْفًا مَا أَبْقَتِ الْبَتَّةُ مِنْهَا شَيْئًا مَنْ قَالَ الْبَتَّةَ فَقَدْ رَمَى الْغَايَةَ الْقُصْوَى .

Muhammad bin Abd Allah bin Numayr and Zuhayr bin Harb narrated to me, they said Abd Allah bin Yazīd narrated to us, he said Sa’īd bin Abī Ayyūb narrated to me, he said Abū Hāni’ narrated to me, on authority of Uthmān Muslim bin Yasār, on authority of Abī Hurayrah, on authority of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah upon him, he said:
‘There will be in the last of my nation a people narrating to you what you nor your fathers heard, so beware of them’.

Sunan an-Nasa'i 2922
It was narrated from Tawus from a man who met the Prophet, that he said:
"Tawaf of the House is a form of Salah, so speak little." (Sahih Mawquf) This is the wording of Yu8saf, which was contradicted by Hanzalah bin Abi sufyan:

It was narrated from Mu'adh bin Abdur-Rahman At-Taimi that his father said:
"we were with Talhah bin Ubaidullah and we were Ihram. A birth was given to him when he was asleep, and some of us at from it and others refrained. Talhah woke up and agreed with those who had eaten it, and said: 'We ate it with Messenger of Allah.'"

" إِذَا شَهِدَتْ إِحْدَاكُنَّ الْعِشَاءَ فَلاَ تَمَسَّ طِيبًا " . قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدِيثُ يَحْيَى وَجَرِيرٍ أَوْلَى بِالصَّوَابِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ وُهَيْبِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ وَاللَّهُ تَعَالَى أَعْلَمُ .

"The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said to me: 'O my little son! When you enter upon your family then give the Salam, it will be a blessing for you and upon the inhabitants of your house."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَاتِمٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ الأَنْصَارِيُّ، مُسْلِمُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الأَنْصَارِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، قَالَ قَالَ أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ قَالَ قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" يَا بُنَىَّ إِذَا دَخَلْتَ عَلَى أَهْلِكَ فَسَلِّمْ يَكُونُ بَرَكَةً عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَى أَهْلِ بَيْتِكَ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ .

Narrated AbuHurayrah:
The Prophet (saws) said: Saying Tasbih applies to men during prayer and clapping applies to women. Anyone who makes a sign during his prayer, a sign which is intelligible by implication, should repeat it (i.e. his prayer).

I heard 'Abdullah b. Zubair addressing the people and saying: Behold! do not dress yuor women with silk clothes for I heard 'Umar b. Khattab as sayinp that he had heard Allah's messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Do not wear silk, for one who wear it in this world will not wear it in the Hereafter.

" لاَ تَلْبَسُوا الْحَرِيرَ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ لَبِسَهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا لَمْ يَلْبَسْهُ فِي الآخِرَةِ " .

وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ جَبَلَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ،
مُكْرَمٍ الْعَمِّيُّ وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ قَالَ عُقْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا وَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا غُنْدَرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ،
قَالَ سَمِعْتُ خَالِدًا، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ
صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ لِعَمَّارٍ
" تَقْتُلُكَ الْفِئَةُ الْبَاغِيَةُ " .

Sunan Abi Dawud 3011
Bashir bin Yasar said that he heard a number of the Companions of the Prophet (saws) say. He then narrated the tradition (mentioned above). He said “One half comprised the portions of the Muslims and the portion of the Apostle of Allaah(saws). He separated the other half for the Muslims for any calamity that befalls him and for emergent needs.”
حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الأَسْوَدِ، أَنَّ يَحْيَى بْنَ آدَمَ، حَدَّثَهُمْ عَنْ أَبِي شِهَابٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ بُشَيْرِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ نَفَرًا، مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالُوا فَذَكَرَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ قَالَ فَكَانَ النِّصْفُ سِهَامَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَسَهْمَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَعَزَلَ النِّصْفَ لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ لِمَا يَنُوبُهُ مِنَ الأُمُورِ وَالنَّوَائِبِ .

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" سَجَدَ فِي إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ "

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ لَبِيدٍ ، عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" نَوِّرُوا بِصَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ، فَإِنَّهُ أَعْظَمُ لِلْأَجْرِ ".
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ ، نَحْوَهُ، أَوْ : " أَسْفِرُوا "

أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى يَعْنِي بْنَ سَعِيدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ الْقَاسِمِ أَخْبَرَهُ، أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ أَخْبَرَهُ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبَّادَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَائِشَةَ ، تَقُولُ : إِنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ : إِنَّهُ احْتَرَقَ، فَسَأَلَهُ : مَا لَهُ؟ فَقَالَ :أَصَابَ أَهْلَهُ فِي رَمَضَانَ.
فَأُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمِكْتَلٍ يُدْعَى الْعَرَقَ فِيهِ تَمْرٌ، فَقَالَ : " أَيْنَ الْمُحْتَرِقُ؟ " فَقَامَ الرَّجُلُ، فَقَالَ : " تَصَدَّقْ بِهَذَا "

ح قَالَ : أَنْبأَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" مَنْ صَلَّى الْعِشَاءَ فِي جَمَاعَةٍ، كَانَ كَقِيَامِ نِصْفِ لَيْلَةٍ، وَمَنْ صَلَّى الْفَجْرَ فِي جَمَاعَةٍ كَانَ كَقِيَامِ لَيْلَةٍ "
