'A'isha reported:
I heard Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: There is nothing (in the form of trouble) that comes to a believer even if it is the pricking of a thorn that there is decreed for him by Allah good or his sins are obliterated.
حَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا حَيْوَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْهَادِ،
عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ حَزْمٍ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
يَقُولُ
" مَا مِنْ شَىْءٍ يُصِيبُ الْمُؤْمِنَ حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةِ تُصِيبُهُ إِلاَّ كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ بِهَا حَسَنَةً أَوْ حُطَّتْ
عَنْهُ بِهَا خَطِيئَةٌ " .

O Allah, for any believing servant whom I curse make that as a source of nearness to Thee on the Day of Resurrection.
حَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي
سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ
" اللَّهُمَّ
فَأَيُّمَا عَبْدٍ مُؤْمِنٍ سَبَبْتُهُ فَاجْعَلْ ذَلِكَ لَهُ قُرْبَةً إِلَيْكَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .

The strong-man is not one who wrestles well but the strong man is one who controls himself when he is in a fit of rage.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، وَعَبْدُ الأَعْلَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، قَالاَ كِلاَهُمَا قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ

" لَيْسَ الشَّدِيدُ بِالصُّرَعَةِ إِنَّمَا الشَّدِيدُ الَّذِي يَمْلِكُ نَفْسَهُ عِنْدَ الْغَضَبِ " .

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying that he saw a person enjoying himself in Paradise because of the tree that he cut from the path which was a source of inconvenience to the people.

فِي الْجَنَّةِ فِي شَجَرَةٍ قَطَعَهَا مِنْ ظَهْرِ الطَّرِيقِ كَانَتْ تُؤْذِي النَّاسَ " .

فَيَحْمَدَهُ عَلَيْهَا أَوْ يَشْرَبَ الشَّرْبَةَ فَيَحْمَدَهُ عَلَيْهَا " .

" يَبْقَى مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ مَا
شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَبْقَى ثُمَّ يُنْشِئُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى لَهَا خَلْقًا مِمَّا يَشَاءُ " .

" لاَ يَمُوتَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ
إِلاَّ وَهُوَ يُحْسِنُ بِاللَّهِ الظَّنَّ " .

شِهَابٍ أَخْبَرَنِي حَمْزَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ

" إِذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِقَوْمٍ عَذَابًا أَصَابَ الْعَذَابُ مَنْ كَانَ فِيهِمْ ثُمَّ بُعِثُوا
عَلَى أَعْمَالِهِمْ " .

" لاَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى تَخْرُجَ نَارٌ مِنْ أَرْضِ الْحِجَازِ تُضِيءُ أَعْنَاقَ
الإِبِلِ بِبُصْرَى " .

Ibn 'Umar reported the Prophet (saws) as saying:
If a man is shared by two men, and one of them emancipates his share, a price of the slave will be fixed, not more or less, and he will be emancipated by him in case he is rich.

Sunan Abi Dawud 1927

Ibn ‘Umar reported God’s messenger as saying, “When any of you eats he should eat with his right hand, and when he drinks he should drink with his right hand.”

'Abdullah ibn 'Amr reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah

for health, restraint, trustworthiness, good character, and contentment

Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless
him and grant him peace, said, "The supplication of any of you is answered
as long as he does not get impatient and say, 'I made supplication and
was not answered.'"
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ عُبَيْدٍ مَوْلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، وَكَانَ مِنَ الْقُرَّاءِ وَأَهْلِ الْفِقْهِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ: يُسْتَجَابُ لأَحَدِكُمْ مَا لَمْ يَعْجَلْ، يَقُولُ: دَعَوْتُ فَلَمْ يُسْتَجَبْ لِي.

Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and
grant him peace, said, "The noble son of the noble son of the noble son
of the noble one was Yusuf ibn Ya'qub ibn Ishaq ibn Ibrahim."

Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and
grant him peace, said, "When one of you gives someone an invitation and
the person you invited comes with your messenger, that is his permission
to enter."

Abu Basra al-Ghifari reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless
him and grant him peace, said, "I will ride to the Jews tomorrow. Do not
give them the greeting first. If they greet you, then say, 'and on you.'"
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ مَرْثَدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بَصْرَةَ الْغِفَارِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ: إِنِّي رَاكِبٌ غَدًا إِلَى يَهُودَ، فَلاَ تَبْدَأُوهُمْ بِالسَّلاَمِ، فَإِذَا سَلَّمُوا عَلَيْكُمْ فَقُولُوا: وَعَلَيْكُمْ.

Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 1140
Ibn 'Umar reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant
him peace, said, "None of you should make a man rise from his seat and
then sit in it. Rather make room and spread out."
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم: لاَ يُقِيمَنَّ أَحَدُكُمُ الرَّجُلَ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ، ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ فِيهِ، وَلَكِنْ تَفَسَّحُوا وَتَوَسَّعُوا.

Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 1197
Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and
grant him peace, used to say when he left his house, "In the Name of Allah.
Reliance is on Allah. There is no power nor strength except by Allah."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّلْتِ أَبُو يَعْلَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ حُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا خَرَجَ مِنْ بَيْتِهِ قَالَ: بِسْمِ اللهِ، التُّكْلاَنُ عَلَى اللهِ، لا حَوْلَ وَلا قُوَّةَ إِلا بِاللَّهِ.

Narrated ‘Ali (rad):
The Prophet (saw) fixed the period of Mash (wiping) over the leather socks (Khifaf – plural of Khuff) for three days and nights for a traveller and one day and a night for the resident person in a town [Reported by Muslim].
وَعَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: { جَعَلَ اَلنَّبِيُّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيَهُنَّ لِلْمُسَافِرِ, وَيَوْمًا وَلَيْلَةً لِلْمُقِيمِ. يَعْنِي: فِي اَلْمَسْحِ عَلَى اَلْخُفَّيْنِ } أَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِم ٌ 1 .

Narrated Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri (rad):
Allah’s Messenger (saw) said, “If one of you has sexual intercourse with his wife and wishes to repeat he should perform ablution between them” [Reported by Muslim].
وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ اَلْخُدْرِيِّ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ إِذَا أَتَى أَحَدُكُمْ أَهْلَهُ, ثُمَّ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَعُودَ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ بَيْنَهُمَا وُضُوءًا } رَوَاهُ مُسْلِم ٌ 1 .

Ibn ‘Abbas (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) said, “Wear white clothes, for they are (considered as) your best clothes, and enshroud your dead in them.” Related by the five Imams, except for An-Nasa’i, and At-Tirmidhi reported it to be sound.
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالَ: { الْبَسُوا مِنْ ثِيَابِكُمُ الْبَيَاضَ, فَإِنَّهَا مِنْ خَيْرِ ثِيَابِكُمْ, وَكَفِّنُوا فِيهَا مَوْتَاكُمْ } رَوَاهُ اَلْخَمْسَةُ إِلَّا النَّسَائِيَّ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ 1 .

وَعَنْ عَلِيٍّ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: { اِنْكَسَرَتْ إِحْدَى زَنْدَيَّ فَسَأَلَتْ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -فَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ أَمْسَحَ عَلَى اَلْجَبَائِرِ } رَوَاهُ اِبْنُ مَاجَه بِسَنَدٍ وَاهٍ جِدًّ ا 1 .

Jabir (RAA) narrated that Allah's Messenger (PBUH) said, "Sacrifice only a full-grown animal unless it is difficult for you, in which case you should sacrifice a (six to ten month old) sheep." Reported by Muslim.
وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{
"لَا تَذْبَحُوا إِلَّا مُسِنَّةً, إِلَّا أَنْ يَعْسُرَ عَلَيْكُمْ فَتَذْبَحُوا جَذَعَةً مِنَ اَلضَّأْنِ" } رَوَاهُ مُسْلِم ٌ (1772) .
