An-Nu’man bin al-Bashir (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) said, “Verily supplication is worship.” Related by the four Imams and At-Tirmidhi graded it as Sahih,

"We slaughtered (naharna) a horse during the time of the Messenger of Allah while we were in Al-Madinah, and we ate it." (Sahih )

Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "The hand (which takes) is responsible for what it has taken till it returns it." [Reported by Ahmad and al-Arba'a. al-Hakim graded it Sahih (authentic)].

It was reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Whoever reads Sūrat al-Kahf on the day of Jumu’ah, a light will shine for him between the two Fridays.” Reference: Mustadrak al-Hakim; Sahih at-Targhib wa at-Tarhib 736

"I said to Salamah bin Al-Akwa': "For what did you pledge to the Messenger of Allah (saws) on the Day of Al-Hudaibiyyah?" He said: "For death."

This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.

Al-Baihaqi transmitted on the authority of Jabir (RAA) a similar narration and added, ‘And his grave was raised one span from the ground.’ Ibn Hibban graded it as Sahih.

I saw the Prophet (SAW) praying while sitted in a cross-legged position. [Reported by an-Nasa'i; and al-Hakim graded it Sahih (authentic)].

"Al-Hakam said to me: 'I heard it from him forty years age; Then Al-Hakam said: 'And Maimum bin Abi Shabib narrated it to me from Muadh bin Jabal." (Sahih

Narrated (rad): Allah’s Messenger (saw) said, “The tanning of a dead animal’s skin purifies it”. [Ibn Hibban graded it Sahih (sound)].

Jazākallāhu khayra. May Allah reward you with good. Reference: At-Tirmidhi (no. 2035). See also Al-Albani, Sahih At-Tirmidhi 2/200 and Sahihul-Jami' (no. 6244).

"The Messenger of Allah (saws) prohibited the price of a dog, the earnings of the fornicator (from harlotry), and the news of the fortune-teller."

This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.

When the Prophet (saw) came out of the privy, he used to say, “Ghufranaka (O Allah! Grant me Your forgiveness)”. [Reported by Al-Khamsa, Abu Hatim and Al-Hakim graded it Sahih (sound)].

'Abdur Rahman bin 'Uthman al-Qurashi (RAA) narrated, 'A doctor consulted the Prophet (PBUH) about extracting medicine from a frog but he prohibited killing it.' Related by Ahmad, Abu Dawud and An-Nasai. Al-Hakim graded it as Sahih.

Qul yā ayyuhal kāfirūn (Sūrat al-Kāfirūn), and Qul huwa Allāhu aḥad (Sūrat al-Ikhlāṣ). Reference: Sahih Muslim 726.

Allah’s Messenger (saw) said, “Water is pure and nothing can make it impure”. [Ath-Thalatha and Ahmad who graded it Sahih]

Anas (RAA) narrated that The Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) said, “Fight the disbelievers (polytheists) with your property, yourselves and your tongues.” Related by Ahmad, An-Nasa‘i and Al-Hakim graded it as Sahih.

Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "The best dowry is that which is most easy." [Abu Dawud reported it and al-Hakim graded it Sahih (authentic)].

"He did not give me permission (to fight), and did not consider me has having attained puberty." [Ibn Khuzaimah graded it Sahih (authentic)].

‘Umar b. al-Khattab reported, God's messenger as saying, “If anyone performs the ablution completely*, then says, ‘I testify that there in no god but God and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger’ (a version giving, ‘I testify that there is no god but God alone who has no partner, and I testify that Muhammad is His servant and messenger’), the eight gates of paradise will be opened for him and he may enter by whichever of them he wishes." *The text has alternative words here, fa-yublighu au fa-yusbighu. Thus Muslim transmitted it in his Sahih, and al-Humaidi among the traditions given by Muslim but not by Bukhari, as also did Ibn al-Athir in Jami' al-usul. The Shaikh Muhyi ad-Din an-Nawawi mentioned it at the end of Muslim’s traditions as we have transmitted it. Tirmidhi added, “O God, put me among the penitent, and put me among those who are purified." The tradition, “He who performs ablution and does it well" which Muhyi as-Sunna transmitted among the sound ones is transmitted identically by Tirmidhi in his Jami' except for “I testify" before the words "that Muhammad."

Allāhummaj'al fī qalbī nūran, wa fī lisānī nūran, wa fī sam`ī nūran, wa fī baṣarī nūran, wa min fawqī nūran, wa min taḥtī nūran, wa `an yamīnī nūran, wa `an shimālī nūran, wa min 'amāmī nūran, wa min khalfī nūran, waj`al fī nafsī nūran, wa 'a`ẓim lī nūran, wa `ẓẓim lī nūran, waj`allī nūran, waj`alnī nūran, Allāhumma 'a`tinī nūran, waj'al fī `aṣabī nūran, wa fī laḥmī nūran, wa fī damī nūran, wa fī sha`rī nūran, wa fī basharī nūran. [Allāhummaj`allī nūran fī qabrī wa nūran fī `iẓāmī.] [Wa zidnī nūran, wa zidnī nūran, wa zidnī nūran.] [Wa hab lī nūran `alā nūr.] O Allah, place light in my heart, and on my tongue light, and in my ears light and in my sight light, and above me light, and below me light, and to my right light, and to my left light, and before me light and behind me light. Place in my soul light. Magnify for me light, and amplify for me light. Make for me light and make me a light. O Allah, grant me light, and place light in my nerves, and in my body light and in my blood light and in my hair light and in my skin light.1 [O Allah, make for me a light in my grave... and a light in my bones.] (At-Tirmidhi 5/483 (Hadith no. 3419).) Ibn Abbās reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would recite, in the morning prayer of Jumu’ah (Friday), Sūrat as-Sajdah in the first rakʿah, and Sūrat al-Insān in the second rakʿah, and he used to recite in Jumu’ah prayer Sūrat al-Jumu’ah and al-Munāfiqūn.” Reference: Sahih Muslim 879a

"The Messenger of Allah (saws) prohibited Al-Muhaqalah, Al-Muzabanah, Al-Mukhabarah, and making an exception (in a sale) unless it is made known."

[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih, Gharib from this route as narration of Yunus bin 'Ubaid, from 'Ata, from Jabir.

'Abdullah bin 'Amro bin al-As (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) said, “Allah’s pleasure results from the parent’s pleasure, and Allah’s displeasure results from the parent’s displeasure.” Related by At-Tirmidhi. Ibn Hibban and al-Hakim graded it as Sahih.

’Abdullah bin Abi Aufa (RAA) narrated, ‘On the Day of Khaibar, we got some food (as spoils). The man would come and take as much as he needed and then go away.’ Related by Abu Dawud.Ibn al-Garud and Al-Hakim graded it as Sahih.

Allah’s Messenger (rad) said, “When you perform ablution, begin with your right limbs”. [Reported by Al-Arba’a and garded Sahih by Ibn Khuzaima].

al-Aqra' is the period of a woman's purity (which occurs between two menses). [Malik, Ahmad and an-Nasa'i reported it in the course of a story with a Sahih (authentic) chain of narrators].

"It is not permissible for a woman to dispose anything of her wealth if her husband is responsible for her." [Reported by Ahmad and the collectors of as-Sunan except at-Tirmidhi and al-Hakim graded it Sahih (authentic)].

"The Messenger of Allah forbade keeping the meat of the sacrificial animals for more than three days, then he said: 'Eat and feed other,"' (Sahih )

From his father: "The Prophet (saws) wore a Roman Jubbah with tight sleeves."

[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.

Allah's Messenger (saws) used to repeat in a single sitting: Rabbigh’fir lī wa tub `alayy innaka antat-Tawwābu ‘l-Ghafūr. Ibn Umar (ra) said: Allah's Messenger (saws) used to repeat in a single sitting: My Lord, forgive me, and accept my repentance, You are the Ever-Relenting, the All-Forgiving. Reference: Sahih Ibn Majah 2/321. See also Al-Albani, Sahih At-Tirmidhi 3/153.

When Allah's Messenger (RA) completed the recitation of Surat Al-Fatiha, he raised his voice and said Amin. [Reported by ad-Daraqutni who graded it Hasan (good) and Al-Hakim who graded it Sahih (authentic)).

"Indeed Allah has angels who roam the earth and they convey to me the greetings (or prayers of peace) of my Ummah (nation)." Reference: An-Nasa'i, Al-Hakim 2/421. Al-Albani graded it authentic in Sahih An-Nasa'i 1/274.

Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "A maternal uncle is heir of him who has no inheritor." [Ahmad and al-Arba'a reported it excluding at-Tirmidhi. Abu Zur'a ar-Razi graded it Hasan (good), and al-Hakim and Ibn Hibban graded it Sahih (authentic).

Abu Musa al-Ash‘ari reported the Prophet as saying, “Gold and silk are permitted to the females among my people but prohibited to the males.” Tirmidhi and Nasa’i transmitted it, Tirmidhi saying this is a hasan sahih tradition.

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'from one 'Umrah to another is an expiation for what comes in between, and Hajj al-Mabrur brings no reward less than Paradise.'''(sahih)

The Prophet (SAW) was asked, 'What type of earning is best?' He replied, "A man's work with his hand and every transaction which is free from cheating or deception." [Reported by al-Bazzar; al-Hakim graded it Sahih (authentic)].

'A’isha reported the Prophet as saying, "Throwing pebbles at the jamras and running between as-Safa and al-Marwa were appointed only for the remembrance of God.” Tirmidhi and Darimi transmitted it, Tirmidhi saying this is a hasan sahih tradition.

Abu Hurairah (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) said, “The fear of Allah and good morals (Akhlaq) are the two major characteristics which lead to Paradise.” Related by At-Tirmidhi and Al-Hakim graded it as Sahih.

’Ammar bin Yasir (RAA) narrated, ‘Whoever fasts the day of doubt he has then disobeyed Abu al-Qasim (the Prophet).’ Related by the five Imams, and Ibn Khuzaimah and Ibn Hibban graded it as Sahih

Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "Make marriage publicly known." [Reported by Ahmad and al-Hakim graded it Sahih (authentic)].

Abu Dawud, at-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah reported the aforesaid Hadith from the narration of 'Aishah (RA), which al-Hakim graded as Sahih (authentic), but the Hadith scholars disagreed with him, and they agreed that it is Da'if (weak).

Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "Offer the morning prayer at dawn, for it is greater for your rewards." [Reported by al-Khamsah. at-Tirmidhi and Ibn Hibban graded it Sahih (authentic)].

Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "One of the best deeds is to offer Salat (prayer) in its early time." [Reported by at-Tirmidhi and al-Hakim who (both) graded it Sahih].

"Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "Kill the two black ones during Salat (prayer), the snake and the scorpion." [Reported by al-Arba'a, and Ibn Hibban graded it Sahih (authentic)].

Abu Hurayrah reported that the Prophet ﷺ said, “Do not turn your households into graveyards. Indeed, the devils flee from a household that has Sūrah al-Baqarah recited in it.” Reference: Sahih Muslim 780

"The Messenger of Allah said: "Volume is to be measured according to the system of the people of Al-Madinah, and weight is to be measured according to the system of the peole of Makkah."' (Sahih) This is the wording of Ishaq (one of the narrators).

The Prophet (SAW) forbade the sale of grapes till they become black (i.e. ripe) and the sale of grain till it becomes hard (i.e. ripe). [Reported by al-Khamsah except an-Nasa'i and graded Sahih (authentic) by Ibn Hibban and al-Hakim].

"Aman passed by Hudhaifah bin Al-Yaman and it was said to him: "This person conveys news about the people to the leaders.' So Hudaifah said: 'The Messenger of Allah said: 'The Qatat shall not enter paradise.'" (Sahih)Sufyan said: "The Qatat is the Nammam.

Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "Reconciliation is permissible between Muslims, except one which makes unlawful something which is lawful, or makes lawful something which is unlawful; and Muslims must abide by their conditions (which they have made), except for a condition which makes unlawful something which is lawful, or makes lawful something which is unlawful." [at-Tirmidhi reported it and graded it Sahih (authentic)]. However, the Hadith scholars criticized him (for grading this Hadith as Sahih) because the narration of Kathir bin 'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin 'Auf is weak. It is as though at-Tirmidhi considered it (reliable) due to its many chains of narration. Ibn Hibban declared the aforesaid Hadith to be Sahih (authentic) from the narration of Abu Hurairah (RA).

Allah’s Messenger (saw) sent out a military expedition and commanded them to wipe over the turbans and leather socks. [ Reported by Ahmad and Abu Da’ud. Al-Hakim graded it Sahih (sound)].

Allah’s Messenger (saw) said, “He who touches his penis should perform ablution”. [Reported by Al-Khamsa, and At-Tirmidhi and Ibn Hibban graded it Sahih (sound).

Abu Hurairah (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) said, “Nothing is more honorable before Allah than supplication.” Related by At-Tirmidhi with a full chain of narrators. Ibn Hibban and Al-Hakim graded it as Sahih;.

Umm Salamah (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "Allah did not make your cure in what He made Haram (unlawful) to you." Related by Al-Baihaqi and graded as Sahih by Ibn Hibban.

Allah's Messenger (SAW) ruled that the two opposing parties in a dispute should sit in front of the judge. [Reported by Abu Dawud. al-Hakim graded it Sahih (authentic)].

Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "It is not lawful for a person to take his brother's stick except if he is pleased with such." [Ibn Hibban and al-Hakim reported it in their two Sahih books].

Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "If anyone puts a wall around a (barren) land, it belongs to him." [Reported by Abu Dawud and Ibn al-Jarud graded it Sahih (authentic)].

Tublī wa yukhliful-lāhu ta`ālā. May Allah replace it when it is worn out. Reference: Abu Dawud 4/41. See also Al-Albani Sahih Abu Dawud 2/760.

I heard the Prophet (PBUH) saying: "A mother's sister is equivalent to (real) mother (in status)".

Allah’s Mesenger (saw) said: “If there is enough water to fill two pots (Qulla), it carries no impurity,” Another version has: “It does not become unclean”. {Al-Arba’a reported it. Ibn Khuzaima, Ibn Hibban and Al-Hakim graded it Sahih (sound)].

The Prophet (SAW) said, "It is not lawful for a Muslim man to give a gift and then take it back, except a father regarding what he gives a child." [Reported by Ahmad and al-Arba'a. at-Tirmidhi, Ibn Hibban and al-Hakim graded it Sahih (authentic)].

Ilbas jadīdan, wa `ish ḥamīdan, wa mut shahīdan. Put on new clothes, live a praise-worthy life and die as a martyr. Reference: Ibn Majah 2/1178, Al-Baghawi 12/41. See also Al-Albani, Sahih Ibn Majah 2/275

"He must return with it one Sa' of any grain but wheat." [al-Bukhari said, "(One Sa' of) dates is mentioned in more narrations than not].

Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "There are three things which, whether undertaken seriously or in jest, are treated as serious: marriage, divorce and taking back a wife after a divorce which is not final." [Reported by al-Arba'a except an-Nasa'i. al-Hakim graded it Sahih (authentic)].

] There are narrations on this topic from Ka'b bin Murrah, 'Amr bin 'Abasah, and 'Abdullah bin 'Amr. This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.

Allah's Messenger (SAW) cursed the one who bribes and the one who takes bribes. [Reported by Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, who graded it Sahih (authentic)].

Aḥabbaka ‘lladhī aḥbabtanī lah. May He for Whose sake you love me, love you. Reference: Abu Dawud 4/333. Al-Albani graded it good in Sahih Abu Dawud 3/965.

Allāhumma innī as'aluka bi'annī ash-hadu annaka ant-Allāh lā 'ilāha 'illā ant, Al-Aḥaduṣ-ṣamad alladhī lam yalid wa lam yūlad wa lam yakun lahu kufuwan aḥad. O Allah, I ask You, by the fact that I bear witness that You are Allah. There is none worthy of worship but You, the Only God, Independent of creation, Who was not begotten and begets not, and none is equal to Him. Reference: Abu Dawud 2/62, Ibn Majah 2/1267, At-Tirmidhi 5/515, Ahmad 5/360. See also Al-Albani, Sahih Ibn Majah 2/329 and Sahih At-Tirmidhi 3/163.

‘Abdallah b. ‘Amr reported God’s messenger as saying, “The major sins are associating other objects of worship with God, disobedience to parents, murder, and deliberate perjury (al-yamin al-ghamus)." Bukhari transmitted it. Anas’s version has “false witness”* (shahadat al-zur) instead of ‘‘deliberate perjury." (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Narrated Abu Burda bin Abu Musa on the authority of his father; Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "There is no marriage without a guardian." [Ahmad and al-Arba'a reported it. Ibn al-Madini, at-Tirmidhi and Ibn Hibban graded it Sahih (authentic), but it was regarded defective for being Mursal (missing link after the Tabi'i)].

Malik said in al-Muwatta' from al-'Ala bin 'Abdur-Rahman bin Ya'qub from his father on the authority of his grandfather that he traded with some property belonging to 'Uthman (RA) so that the profit would be divided between them. [This hadith is Mawquf (saying of a Companion) Sahih (authentic)].

"The Messenger of Allah (saws) prohibited riding (while sitting on) Miyathir."

[Abu 'Eisa said:] There are narrations on this topic from 'Ali and Mu'awiyah. The Hadith if Al-Bara' is Hasan Sahih. Shu'bah reported similarly from Ash'ath bin Abi Ash-Sha'tha' in the lengthy Hadith.

It was reported from ‘Ubaydullāh ibn ‘Abdullāh that ‘Umar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb asked Abu Waqid al-Laythi what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite in the (Eid) prayers of al-Adhā and al-Fitr. He said, "He used to recite Qāf wal-qur’ānil majeed (Sūrah Qāf) and Iqtarabat al-sā’atul wanshaqqal qamar (Sūrah al-Qamar).” Reference: Sahih Muslim 891a, Muwatta Malik.

It was reported from ‘Ubaydullāh ibn ‘Abdullāh that ‘Umar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb asked Abu Waqid al-Laythi what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite in the (Eid) prayers of al-Adhā and al-Fitr. He said, "He used to recite Qāf wal-qur’ānil majeed (Sūrah Qāf) and Iqtarabat al-sā’atul wanshaqqal qamar (Sūrah al-Qamar). Reference: Sahih Muslim 891a, Muwatta Malik.

Ibn 'Abbas (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) did not trot during the seven circuits made in the final Tawaf when he returned to Makkah.’ Related by the five Imams except at-Tirmidhi. Al-Hakim graded it as Sahih.

"Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "Whoever swears an oath, and then says: "If Allah Wills", he is not held accountable if he breaks it." [Ahmad and al-Arba'a reported it, and Ibn Hibban graded it Sahih (authentic)].

The Prophet (SAW) said, "The Salat (prayer) of a woman, who has reached puberty, is not accepted unless she is wearing a Khimar." [Reported by al-Khamsah except an-Naza'i. And Ibn Khuzaimah graded it Sahih (authentic)].

Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "When one of you is praying he must not remove pebbles (from his face) for the mercy is facing him." [Reported by al-Khamsah with a Sahih (authentic) chain].

Abu Hurayrah (RA) reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would recite, in the morning prayer of Jumu’ah (Friday), Sūrat as-Sajdah (32) in the first rakʿah, and Sūrat al-Insān (76) in the second rakʿah. Reference: Sahih Muslim 880b

Narrated Abu Qatada (rad): Allah’s Messenger (saw) said about the cat that, “It is not unclean, but is one of those who intermingle with you.” [Reported by Al-Arba’a. At-Tirmidhi and Ibn Khuzaima graded it Sahih (sound)].

Allah’s Messenger (saw) said, “The urine of a baby girl should be washed off and the urine of baby boy should be sprinkled (with water)”. [Reported by Abu Da’ud and An-Nasa’i and Al-Hakim graded it Sahih (sound)].

Abu Hurairah (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) said, “You (people) cannot satisfy people with your wealth, but satisfy them with your cheerful faces and good morals.” Related by Abu Ya’la and Al-Hakim graded it as Sahih.

Ibn ’Abbas (RAA) narrated, ‘An elderly man is permitted to break his fast, but he must feed a poor person daily, and he does not have to make up for it.’ Related by Ad-Daraqutni and Al- hakim, who rendered it to be Sahih

Abu Hurairah (RAA) narrated that The Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) forbade fasting on the day of Arafah for the one who is actually at Arafah (i.e. performing Hajj). Related by the five Imams except for At-Tirmidhi. Ibn Khuzaimah and al-Hakim graded it as Sahih.

The Prophet (SAW) forbade Muhaqalah, Muzabanah, and Mukhabarah. He also forbade Thunya unless it was explicit (a known amount). [Reported by al-Khamsah excluding Ibn Majah; at-Tirmidhi graded it Sahih (authentic)].

Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "The House (Judgement Day) will not come until people boast (to each other) with (the construction and decoration of) mosques. [Reported by al-Khamsah except at-Tirmidhi, and Ibn Khuzaimah graded it Sahih (authentic)].

Subḥāna Rabbiya ‘l-a`lā. Glory is to my Lord, the Most High. (This is said three times in Arabic.) Reference: Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah, An-Nasa'i, At-Tirmidhi, and Ahmad. See also Al-Albani, Sahih At-Tirmidhi 1/83.

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Allah does not accept any prayer without purification and He does not accept any charity from Ghulul.'" (Sahih) Another chain with similar wording.

That 'Umar gave a Khutbah at Al-Jabiyah and he said: "The Messenger of Allah (saws) prohibited silk except for two finger's worth of space, or three, or four."

[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.

"The closest that the Lord comes to the slave is in the last portion of the night. So, if you are able to be among those who remember Allah in this hour, then be among them."
