Sunan an-Nasa'i 549
It was narrated from Mahmud bin Labid, from some men among his people who were of the Ansar, that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said:
"The more you delay Fajr, the greater the reward."
أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو غَسَّانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي زَيْدُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ لَبِيدٍ، عَنْ رِجَالٍ، مِنْ قَوْمِهِ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" مَا أَسْفَرْتُمْ بِالْفَجْرِ فَإِنَّهُ أَعْظَمُ بِالأَجْرِ " .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 842
It was narrated that Ibn Abbas said:
"I prayed with the Messenger of Allah (saws)and I stood on his left. He took hold of me with his left hand and made me stand on his right."

It was narrated from Jubair bin Mut'im that the Prophet (PBUH) said:
"O Banu 'Abd Manaf, do not prevent anyone from circumambulating this House and praying at any time he wants of night or day."
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مِنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ بَابَاهْ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" يَا بَنِي عَبْدِ مَنَافٍ لاَ تَمْنَعُوا أَحَدًا طَافَ بِهَذَا الْبَيْتِ وَصَلَّى أَيَّةَ سَاعَةٍ شَاءَ مِنْ لَيْلٍ أَوْ نَهَارٍ " .

'Ali ibn Abi Talib said (may Allah be well pleased with him):
“The Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) used to wear his signet ring on his right hand.”

'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud, that the Prophet said (Allah bless him and give him peace):
“If someone sees me in his sleep, he has indeed seen me, for Satan cannot imitate me!"

Anas bin Malik narrated that:
Allah's Messenger said: "Indeed I hear the crying of a small boy while I am in Salat, so I shorten it in fear that his mother may be tormented."
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْفَزَارِيُّ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" وَاللَّهِ إِنِّي لأَسْمَعُ بُكَاءَ الصَّبِيِّ وَأَنَا فِي الصَّلاَةِ فَأُخَفِّفُ مَخَافَةَ أَنْ تُفْتَتَنَ أُمُّهُ " . قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ أَنَسٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .

Abdullah bin Amr narrated that:
Allah's Messenger (S) said: "When he commits Hadath - meaning a man - and he is sitting in the end of his Salat before saying the Taslim, then his Salat is acceptable."
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُوسَى الْمُلَقَّبُ، مَرْدَوَيْهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ زِيَادِ بْنِ أَنْعُمَ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ رَافِعٍ، وَبَكْرَ بْنَ سَوَادَةَ، أَخْبَرَاهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِذَا أَحْدَثَ - يَعْنِي الرَّجُلَ - وَقَدْ جَلَسَ فِي آخِرِ صَلاَتِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسَلِّمَ فَقَدْ جَازَتْ صَلاَتُهُ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ إِسْنَادُهُ لَيْسَ بِذَاكَ الْقَوِيِّ وَقَدِ اضْطَرَبُوا فِي إِسْنَادِهِ . وَقَدْ ذَهَبَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ إِلَى هَذَا . قَالُوا إِذَا جَلَسَ مِقْدَارَ التَّشَهُّدِ وَأَحْدَثَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسَلِّمَ فَقَدْ تَمَّتْ صَلاَتُهُ . وَقَالَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ إِذَا أَحْدَثَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَتَشَهَّدَ وَقَبْلَ أَنْ يُسَلِّمَ أَعَادَ الصَّلاَةَ . وَهُوَ قَوْلُ الشَّافِعِيِّ . وَقَالَ أَحْمَدُ إِذَا لَمْ يَتَشَهَّدْ وَسَلَّمَ أَجْزَأَهُ لِقَوْلِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " وَتَحْلِيلُهَا التَّسْلِيمُ " وَالتَّشَهُّدُ أَهْوَنُ قَامَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي اثْنَتَيْنِ فَمَضَى فِي صَلاَتِهِ وَلَمْ يَتَشَهَّدْ . وَقَالَ إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِذَا تَشَهَّدَ وَلَمْ يُسَلِّمْ أَجْزَأَهُ . وَاحْتَجَّ بِحَدِيثِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ حِينَ عَلَّمَهُ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم التَّشَهُّدَ فَقَالَ " إِذَا ...

(Another chain reaching to Az-Zuhri) with this Hadith.Malik reported this Hadith from Az-Zuhri, from Salim who said:
"Umar [bin al-Khattab] was giving a Khutbah on Friday." And he mentioned this Hadith.
قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو صَالِحٍ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ . وَرَوَى مَالِكٌ، هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، قَالَ بَيْنَمَا عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ . فَذَكَرَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَسَأَلْتُ مُحَمَّدًا عَنْ هَذَا فَقَالَ الصَّحِيحُ حَدِيثُ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ . قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْ مَالِكٍ أَيْضًا عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ نَحْوُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ .

Jami` at-Tirmidhi 571
Tariq bin Abdullah Al-Muharibi narrated that :
the Messenger of Allah said: "When you are in Salat then do not spit on your right, but behind you or toward your left, or under your left foot."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ، عَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْمُحَارِبِيِّ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" إِذَا كُنْتَ فِي الصَّلاَةِ فَلاَ تَبْزُقْ عَنْ يَمِينِكَ وَلَكِنْ خَلْفَكَ أَوْ تِلْقَاءَ شِمَالِكَ أَوْ تَحْتَ قَدَمِكَ الْيُسْرَى " . قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ وَابْنِ عُمَرَ وَأَنَسٍ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَحَدِيثُ طَارِقٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ . وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ . قَالَ وَسَمِعْتُ الْجَارُودَ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ وَكِيعًا يَقُولُ لَمْ يَكْذِبْ رِبْعِيُّ بْنُ حِرَاشٍ فِي الإِسْلاَمِ كَذْبَةً . قَالَ وَقَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ أَثْبَتُ أَهْلِ الْكُوفَةِ مَنْصُورُ بْنُ الْمُعْتَمِرِ .

Attab bin Asid narrated that :
the Prophet said about Zakat on grapevines: "They are to be assessed just as the date-palm is assessed. Then its Zakat is paid in raisins just as the Zakat for the date-palm is paid in dried dates."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَمْرٍو، مُسْلِمُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْحَذَّاءُ الْمَدَنِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ الصَّائِغُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ التَّمَّارِ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ عَتَّابِ بْنِ أَسِيدٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يَبْعَثُ عَلَى النَّاسِ مَنْ يَخْرُصُ عَلَيْهِمْ كُرُومَهُمْ وَثِمَارَهُمْ .
وَبِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ فِي زَكَاةِ الْكُرُومِ
" إِنَّهَا تُخْرَصُ كَمَا يُخْرَصُ النَّخْلُ ثُمَّ تُؤَدَّى زَكَاتُهُ زَبِيبًا كَمَا تُؤَدَّى زَكَاةُ النَّخْلِ تَمْرًا " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ . وَقَدْ رَوَى ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ . وَسَأَلْتُ مُحَمَّدًا عَنْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ فَقَالَ حَدِيثُ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ غَيْرُ مَحْفُوظٍ وَحَدِيثُ ابْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ عَتَّابِ بْنِ أَسِيدٍ أَثْبَتُ وَأَصَحُّ .

Samurah bin Jundab narrated that:
The Messenger of Allah said: "Whichever woman is given in marriage by two Wali, then her case is in accordance with the first of them, and whoever sells something to two men, then it is for the first of them."
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدَبٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" أَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ زَوَّجَهَا وَلِيَّانِ فَهِيَ لِلأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا وَمَنْ بَاعَ بَيْعًا مِنْ رَجُلَيْنِ فَهُوَ لِلأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ . وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ لاَ نَعْلَمُ بَيْنَهُمْ فِي ذَلِكَ اخْتِلاَفًا إِذَا زَوَّجَ أَحَدُ الْوَلِيَّيْنِ قَبْلَ الآخَرِ فَنِكَاحُ الأَوَّلِ جَائِزٌ وَنِكَاحُ الآخَرِ مَفْسُوخٌ وَإِذَا زَوَّجَا جَمِيعًا فَنِكَاحُهُمَا جَمِيعًا مَفْسُوخٌ . وَهُوَ قَوْلُ الثَّوْرِيِّ وَأَحْمَدَ وَإِسْحَاقَ .

'Ibn 'Abbas narrated that a man cursed the wind in the presence of the Prophet, so he said:
"Do not curse the wind, for it is merely doing as ordered , and whoever curses something undeservingly, then the curse returns upon him."
حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ أَخْزَمَ الطَّائِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنْ رَجُلاً، لَعَنَ الرِّيحَ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ
" لاَ تَلْعَنِ الرِّيحَ فَإِنَّهَا مَأْمُورَةٌ وَإِنَّهُ مَنْ لَعَنَ شَيْئًا لَيْسَ لَهُ بِأَهْلٍ رَجَعَتِ اللَّعْنَةُ عَلَيْهِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ لاَ نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا أَسْنَدَهُ غَيْرَ بِشْرِ بْنِ عُمَرَ .

'Abdullah bin Mas'ud said, about the grandmother along with her daughter:
"The Messenger of Allah(S.A.W) gave the first grandmother, along with her son, a sixth for them to consume while her son was living."

" بُعِثْتُ فِي نَفَسِ السَّاعَةِ فَسَبَقْتُهَا كَمَا سَبَقَتْ هَذِهِ هَذِهِ " . لإِصْبُعَيْهِ السَّبَّابَةِ وَالْوُسْطَى . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ حَدِيثِ الْمُسْتَوْرِدِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ .

" The Muslim's dreams are a portion of the forty-six portions of Prophet-hood. And it is (as if it is) on the leg of a bird, as long as it is not spoken of. But when it is spoken of it falls."

" رُؤْيَا الْمُسْلِمِ جُزْءٌ مِنْ سِتَّةٍ وَأَرْبَعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ وَهِيَ عَلَى رِجْلِ طَائِرٍ مَا لَمْ يُحَدِّثْ بِهَا فَإِذَا حَدَّثَ بِهَا وَقَعَتْ " . قَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ . وَأَبُو رَزِينٍ الْعُقَيْلِيُّ اسْمُهُ لَقِيطُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ . وَرَوَى حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ فَقَالَ عَنْ وَكِيعِ بْنِ حُدُسٍ وَقَالَ شُعْبَةُ وَأَبُو عَوَانَةَ وَهُشَيْمٌ عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ وَكِيعِ بْنِ عُدُسٍ وَهَذَا أَصَحُّ .

"Indeed in Paradise there is a sea of water, and a sea of honey,and a sea of milk, and a sea of wine, then the rivers shall split off afterwards."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ، عَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" إِنَّ فِي الْجَنَّةِ بَحْرَ الْمَاءِ وَبَحْرَ الْعَسَلِ وَبَحْرَ اللَّبَنِ وَبَحْرَ الْخَمْرِ ثُمَّ تُشَقَّقُ الأَنْهَارُ بَعْدُ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ . وَحَكِيمُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ هُوَ وَالِدُ بَهْزِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ وَالْجُرَيْرِيُّ يُكْنَى أَبَا مَسْعُودٍ وَاسْمُهُ سَعِيدُ بْنُ إِيَاسٍ .

Narrated Salim Abu-An-Nadr:
`Abdullah bin Abi `Aufa wrote and I read what he wrote that Allah's Apostle said, "When you face them ( i.e. your enemy) then be patient."

The 'Prophet said, "It is obligatory for one to listen to and obey (the ruler's orders) unless these orders involve one disobedience (to Allah); but if an act of disobedience (to Allah) is imposed, he should not listen to or obey it."

" دَخَلَتِ امْرَأَةٌ النَّارَ فِي هِرَّةٍ رَبَطَتْهَا، فَلَمْ تُطْعِمْهَا، وَلَمْ تَدَعْهَا تَأْكُلُ مِنْ خِشَاشِ الأَرْضِ ". قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِثْلَهُ.

He (the Prophet) got up and prayed eight rak'ahs in pairs, and then observed witr with five rak'ahs and he did not sit between them.

I used to sleep in the mosque in the lifetime of the Messenger of Allah (saws) when I was young and bachelor. The dogs would urinate frequently visit the mosque, and no one would sprinkle over it.

Sunan Abi Dawud 3043
Narrated Umar ibn al-Khattab:
Amr ibn Aws and AbulSha'tha' reported that Bujalah said: I was secretary to Jaz' ibn Mu'awiyah, the uncle of Ahnaf ibn Qays.
A letter came to us from Umar one year before his death, saying: Kill every magician, separate the relatives of prohibited degrees from the Magians, and forbid them to murmur (before eating). So we killed three magicians in one day, and separated from a Magian husband his wife of a prohibited degree according to the Book of Allah.
He prepared abundant food and called them, and placed the sword on his thigh. They ate (the food) but did not murmur. They threw (on the ground) one or two mule-loads of silver. Umar did not take jizyah from Magians until AbdurRahman ibn Awf witnessed that the Messenger of Allah (saws) had taken jizyah from the Magians of Hajar.
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدُ بْنُ مُسَرْهَدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، سَمِعَ بَجَالَةَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَمْرَو بْنَ أَوْسٍ وَأَبَا الشَّعْثَاءِ قَالَ كُنْتُ كَاتِبًا لِجَزْءِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَمِّ الأَحْنَفِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ إِذْ جَاءَنَا كِتَابُ عُمَرَ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ بِسَنَةٍ اقْتُلُوا كُلَّ سَاحِرٍ وَفَرِّقُوا بَيْنَ كُلِّ ذِي مَحْرَمٍ مِنَ الْمَجُوسِ وَانْهَوْهُمْ عَنِ الزَّمْزَمَةِ فَقَتَلْنَا فِي يَوْمٍ ثَلاَثَةَ سَوَاحِرَ وَفَرَّقْنَا بَيْنَ كُلِّ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْمَجُوسِ وَحَرِيمِهِ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ وَصَنَعَ طَعَامًا كَثِيرًا فَدَعَاهُمْ فَعَرَضَ السَّيْفَ عَلَى فَخِذِهِ فَأَكَلُوا وَلَمْ يُزَمْزِمُوا وَأَلْقَوْا وِقْرَ بَغْلٍ أَوْ بَغْلَيْنِ مِنَ الْوَرِقِ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ عُمَرُ أَخَذَ الْجِزْيَةَ مِنَ الْمَجُوسِ حَتَّى شَهِدَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَخَذَهَا مِنْ مَجُوسِ هَجَرَ .

Narrated Ubaydullah ibn Adl ibn al-Khiyar:
Two men informed me that they went to the Prophet (saws) when he was at the Farewell Pilgrimage while he was distributing the sadaqah and asked him for some of it. He looked us up and down, and seeing that we were robust, he said: If you wish, I shall give you something, but there is nothing spare in it for a rich man or for one who is strong and able to earn a living.
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَدِيِّ بْنِ الْخِيَارِ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي رَجُلاَنِ، أَنَّهُمَا أَتَيَا النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ وَهُوَ يَقْسِمُ الصَّدَقَةَ فَسَأَلاَهُ مِنْهَا فَرَفَعَ فِينَا الْبَصَرَ وَخَفَضَهُ فَرَآنَا جَلْدَيْنِ فَقَالَ
" إِنْ شِئْتُمَا أَعْطَيْتُكُمَا وَلاَ حَظَّ فِيهَا لِغَنِيٍّ وَلاَ لِقَوِيٍّ مُكْتَسِبٍ " .

Ibn ‘Abbas told that God's messenger heard a man say, “Labbaik on behalf of Shubruma." He asked who Shubruma was, and the man replied, “A brother of mine," or “a relative of mine." He asked whether he had performed the pilgrimage on his own behalf, and when he replied that he had not, he said, “Perform the pilgrimage on your own behalf, then perform it on behalf of Shubruma."
Shafi'i, Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah transmitted it.
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَمِعَ رَجُلًا يَقُولُ لَبَّيْكَ عَنْ شُبْرُمَةَ قَالَ: «مَنْ شُبْرُمَةُ» قَالَ: أَخٌ لِي أَوْ قَرِيبٌ لِي قَالَ: «أَحَجَجْتَ عَنْ نَفْسِكَ؟» قَالَ: لَا قَالَ: «حُجَّ عَنْ نَفْسِكَ ثُمَّ حُجَّ عَنْ شُبْرُمَةَ» . رَوَاهُ الشَّافِعِيُّ وَأَبُو دَاوُد وابنُ مَاجَه

Kathir ibn Murra related, "I entered the mosque on Friday and
found 'Awf ibn Malik al-Ashja'i sitting in a circle of men. He stretched
out his feet in front of him. When he saw me, he pulled his feet back in.
Then he said to me, 'Do you know why I put my foot out? So that a righteous
man might come and sit down.'"
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الزَّاهِرِيَّةِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي كَثِيرُ بْنُ مُرَّةَ قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ الْمَسْجِدَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ، فَوَجَدْتُ عَوْفَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ الأَشْجَعِيَّ جَالِسًا فِي حَلْقَةٍ مَادًّا رِجْلَيْهِ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ، فَلَمَّا رَآنِي قَبَضَ رِجْلَيْهِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ لِي: تَدْرِي لأَيِّ شَيْءٍ مَدَدْتُ رِجْلَيَّ؟ لَيَجِيءَ رَجُلٌ صَالِحٌ فَيَجْلِسَ.

Ibn 'Umar (RAA) narrated, ‘Allah’s Messenger (P.B.U.H.) took hold of my shoulders and said, “Be in this world as though you were a stranger or a passerby.” Ibn ’Umar used to say, “If you are alive in the evening, do not expect to be alive till the morning and if you are alive in the morning do not expect to be alive till the evening, and take from your health for your sickness, and from your life for your death.” Related by Al-Bukhari.
وَعَنِ اِبْنِ عُمَرَ -رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا- قَالَ: أَخَذَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -بِمَنْكِبِي, فَقَالَ: { كُنْ فِي اَلدُّنْيَا كَأَنَّكَ غَرِيبٌ, أَوْ عَابِرُ سَبِيلٍ } وَكَانَ اِبْنُ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ: إِذَا أَمْسَيْتَ فَلَا تَنْتَظِرِ اَلصَّبَاحَ, وَإِذَا أَصْبَحْتَ فَلَا تَنْتَظِرِ اَلْمَسَاءَ, وَخُذْ مِنْ صِحَّتِكَ لِسَقَمِك, وَمِنْ حَيَاتِكَ لِمَوْتِكَ. أَخْرَجَهُ اَلْبُخَارِيُّ. 1 .

Al-Bara bin 'Azib (RAA) narrated Allah's Messenger (PBUH)stood among us and said, "There are four types of sacrificial animals, which are not permitted:
A one-eyes animal which has obviously lost the sight of one eye, a sick animal which is obviously sick, a lame animal which obviously limps, and an old animal which has no marrow." Related by Ahmad and the four Imams. At-Tirmidhi and Ibn Hibban graded it as Sahih.
وَعَنِ اَلْبَرَاءِ بنِ عَازِبٍ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: قَامَ فِينَا رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -فَقَالَ: {
"أَرْبَعٌ لَا تَجُوزُ فِي اَلضَّحَايَا: اَلْعَوْرَاءُ اَلْبَيِّنُ عَوَرُهَا, وَالْمَرِيضَةُ اَلْبَيِّنُ مَرَضُهَا, وَالْعَرْجَاءُ اَلْبَيِّنُ ظَلْعُهَ ا (1769) وَالْكَسِيرَةُ اَلَّتِي لَا تُنْقِي" } رَوَاهُ اَلْخَمْسَة ُ (1770) . وَصَحَّحَهُ اَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ, وَابْنُ حِبَّان َ (1771) .

Narrated Tawus from Ibn 'Abbas (RA), Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "Do not go out to meet riders (to conduct business with them), and a city-dweller must not sell for a man from the desert." I asked Ibn 'Abbas (RA), "What did he mean by 'A city-dweller must not sell for a man from the desert.'" He replied, "He should not act as a broker for him."

وَعَنْ طَاوُسٍ, عَنِ اِبْنِ عَبَّاسٍ -رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا- قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ لَا تَلَقَّوْا اَلرُّكْبَانَ, وَلَا يَبِيعُ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ ". قُلْتُ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: مَا قَوْلُهُ: " وَلَا يَبِيعُ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ? " قَالَ: لَا يَكُونُ لَهُ سِمْسَارًا } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ وَاللَّفْظُ لِلْبُخَارِيِّ 1 .

‘Amr b. Shu'aib, on his father’s authority, said his grandfather told that God’s Messenger decided regarding the stream al-Mahzur* that its water should be held back till it reached the ankles and that the upper waters should then be allowed to flow to the lower.
Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah transmitted it.
* Taj al-'arus quotes Ibn al-Athir as saying this was the wadi of the B. Quraizah, and that water flowed in it only when rain fell.

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Ata ibn Yazid al-Laythi from Abu Ayyub al-Ansari that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "It is not halal for a muslim to shun his brother for more than three nights, that is they meet, and this one turns away and that one turns away. The better of the two is the one who says the greeting first."
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ اللَّيْثِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الأَنْصَارِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" لاَ يَحِلُّ لِمُسْلِمٍ أَنْ يُهَاجِرَ أَخَاهُ فَوْقَ ثَلاَثِ لَيَالٍ يَلْتَقِيَانِ فَيُعْرِضُ هَذَا وَيُعْرِضُ هَذَا وَخَيْرُهُمَا الَّذِي يَبْدَأُ بِالسَّلاَمِ " .

Narrated Ibn `Abbas:
`Umar asked the people regarding Allah's Statement: 'When comes the Help of Allah (to you O Muhammad against your enemies) and the conquest of Mecca.' (110.1) They replied, "It indicates the future conquest of towns and palaces (by Muslims)." `Umar said, "What do you say about it, O Ibn `Abbas?" I replied, "(This Surat) indicates the termination of the life of Muhammad. Through it he was informed of the nearness of his death."

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Prophet (PBUH) kissed his grandson Hasan bin 'Ali in the presence of Aqra' bin Habis. Thereupon Aqra' remarked: "I have ten children and I have never kissed any one of them." The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) cast a glance upon him and said, "He who does not show mercy to others, will not be shown mercy."

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi from Abdullah ibn Umar that one time the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was speaking to Umar ibn al-Khattab while he was travelling with a troop and Umar swore by his father and he (the Messenger) said, "Allah forbids you to swear by your fathers. If anyone swears, let him swear by Allah or keep silent."

Sahih Muslim 1547 h
Nafi, reported that Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with them) used to rent the land, and that he was conveyed the hadith transmitted on the authority of Rafi b. Khadij. He (the narrator) said:
He then went to him along with me. He (Rafi) narrated from some of his uncles in which it was mentioned that Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) forbade the renting of land. Ibn 'Umar (Allah be pleased with them) then abandoned this practice of renting.

Narrated Ibrahim:
Hammam bin Al-Harith said, "I saw Jarir bin `Abdullah urinating. Then he performed ablution and passed his (wet) hands over his Khuffs (socks made from thick fabric or leather), stood up and prayed. He was asked about it. He replied that he had seen the Prophet doing the same." They approved of this narration as Jarir was one of those who embraced Islam very late.

`Ata' said, "I heard Jabir bin `Abdullah saying, 'We never ate the meat of the Budn for more than three days of Mina. Later, the Prophet gave us permission by saying: 'Eat and take (meat) with you. So we ate (some) and took (some) with us.' " I asked `Ata', "Did Jabir say (that they went on eating the meat) till they reached Medina?" `Ata' replied, "No."

Sunan an-Nasa'i 5414
It was narrated from Ka'b bin Malik that:
He owed a debt by 'Abdullah bin Abi Hadrad Al-Aslami. He met him, and asked him to pay it off. They exchanged words until their voices became loud. The Messenger of Allah [SAW] passed by them and said: "O Ka'b!" and he gestured with his hand to say half. So he took half of what was owed and let him off the other half.

" يَا كَعْبُ " . فَأَشَارَ بِيَدِهِ كَأَنَّهُ يَقُولُ النِّصْفَ فَأَخَذَ نِصْفًا مِمَّا عَلَيْهِ وَتَرَكَ نِصْفًا .

It was narrated from Musa bin 'Ali that his father said:
"I heard 'Uqbah bin 'Amir say: 'There are three times during which the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) forbade us from praying or burying our dead: When the sun had clearly started to rise until it was fully risen, when it was directly overhead at noon until it has passed the zenith, and when it was close to setting until it had fully set.'"

Ar-Rubai bint Mu'awwidh ibn 'Afra’ said:
"Mu'adh ibn 'Afra sent me with a tray of ripe dates, and on it there were pieces of fluffy cucumber. He [the Prophet] (Allah bless him and give him peace) used to love cucumbers, so I brought them to him. He had with him some ornaments that had come to him from Bahrain, so he took a handful of them and gave it to me."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ الرَّازِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُخْتَارِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ، عَنِ الرُّبَيِّعِ بِنْتِ مُعَوِّذِ بْنِ عَفْرَاءَ، قَالَتْ: بَعَثَنِي مُعَاذُ بْنُ عَفْرَاءَ بِقِنَاعٍ مِنْ رُطَبٍ وَعَلَيْهِ أَجْرٌ مِنْ قِثَّاءِ زُغْبٍ وَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُحِبُّ الْقِثَّاءَ، فَأَتَيْتُهُ بِهِ وَعِنْدَهُ حِلْيَةٌ قَدْ قَدِمَتْ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ، فَمَلأَ يَدَهُ مِنْهَا فَأَعْطَانِيهِ.

'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al-'As narrated that the Messenger of Allah said:
"If a pellet like this one, and he pointed to one like Al-jumjumah were to be dropped from the heavens to the earth – and it is the distance of traveling five hundred years it would reach the earth before the night-fall. But if it were dropped from the top of the chain it would travel for forty years, day and night, before it would reach its foundation or bottom.” (Hasan)

" لَوْ أَنَّ رُصَاصَةً مِثْلَ هَذِهِ وَأَشَارَ إِلَى مِثْلِ الْجُمْجُمَةِ أُرْسِلَتْ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ إِلَى الأَرْضِ وَهِيَ مَسِيرَةُ خَمْسِمِائَةِ سَنَةٍ لَبَلَغَتِ الأَرْضَ قَبْلَ اللَّيْلِ وَلَوْ أَنَّهَا أُرْسِلَتْ مِنْ رَأْسِ السِّلْسِلَةِ لَصَارَتْ أَرْبَعِينَ خَرِيفًا اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَبْلُغَ أَصْلَهَا أَوْ قَعْرَهَا " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ إِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ . وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ هُوَ مِصْرِيٌّ وَقَدْ رَوَى عَنْهُ اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ وَغَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ مِنَ الأَئِمَّةِ .

Sunan Abi Dawud 2611
Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas:
The Prophet (saws) said: The best number of companions is four, the best number in expeditions four hundred, and the best number in armies four thousand; and twelve thousand will not be overcome through smallness of numbers.
Abu Dawud said: What is correct is that this tradition is mursal (i.e. the link of the Companion is missing).

" خَيْرُ الصَّحَابَةِ أَرْبَعَةٌ وَخَيْرُ السَّرَايَا أَرْبَعُمِائَةٍ وَخَيْرُ الْجُيُوشِ أَرْبَعَةُ آلاَفٍ وَلَنْ يُغْلَبَ اثْنَا عَشَرَ أَلْفًا مِنْ قِلَّةٍ " . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَالصَّحِيحُ أَنَّهُ مُرْسَلٌ .

I think he said for the fifth time: If he drinks it, kill him.
Abu Dawud said: And similarly the word “a fifth time” occurs in the tradition of Abu Ghutaif.

Ibn ‘Abbas said that he returned with the Prophet on the day of ‘Arafa, and when the Prophet heard the people behind him shouting loudly at their camels and beating them, he pointed his whip at them and said, “You people must preserve a quiet demeanour, for piety does not consist in going quickly.”
Bukhari transmitted it.
وَعَن ابنِ عبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ دَفَعَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ فَسَمِعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَرَاءَهُ زَجْرًا شَدِيدًا وَضَرْبًا لِلْإِبِلِ فَأَشَارَ بِسَوْطِهِ إِلَيْهِمْ وَقَالَ: «يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ عَلَيْكُمْ بِالسَّكِينَةِ فَإِنَّ الْبِرَّ لَيْسَ بِالْإِيضَاعِ» . رَوَاهُ البُخَارِيّ

Nafi' said that Ibn ‘Umar felt cold and told him to throw a garment over him; but when he threw a hooded cloak over him he said, “Are you throwing this over me when God’s messenger has forbidden those who are in the sacred state to wear it ?”

him peace, said, 'Musa was sent, and he was a shepherd. Da'ud was sent,
and he was a shepherd. I was sent, and I used to herd sheep for my people
at Ajyad.'"

Talq ibn Habib said, "I was the most vehement person in denying

grant him peace, said, 'Gently, Anjasha! Be careful with the glass vessels
(meaning the women).'"

be a total infatuation. Do not let your anger be destruction.' I asked,

When you hate, you desire destruction for your companion.'"

It was
narrated from ‘Abdur-Rahman Al-A’raj that Ibn Buhainah told

that the Prophet (saw) stood up in the second Rak’ah of Zuhr and
forgot to sit. When he had finished his prayer, and before he said
the
Salam, he performed the two prostrations for forgetfulness (Sahw)
and
said the Salam.

to sit (and listen to) the sermon, then let him sit, and
whoever wants
to leave, then let him leave.’”

my house is dearer to me than praying in the mosque, apart
from the
prescribed prayers.’”

" أَلاَ تَرَى إِلَى بَيْتِي مَا أَقْرَبَهُ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ فَلأَنْ أُصَلِّيَ فِي بَيْتِي أَحَبُّ إِلَىَّ مِنْ أَنْ أُصَلِّيَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ إِلاَّ أَنْ تَكُونَ صَلاَةً مَكْتُوبَةً " .

“This nation has been granted mercy (in the Hereafter) and its
torment (in this world) is at the hands of one another. When the Day
of Resurrection comes, each Muslim man will be given a man from among
the idolaters and it will be said: ‘This is your ransom from the
Fire.’”

" إِنَّ هَذِهِ أُمَّةٌ مَرْحُومَةٌ عَذَابُهَا بِأَيْدِيهَا فَإِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ دُفِعَ إِلَى كُلِّ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ فَيُقَالُ هَذَا فِدَاؤُكَ مِنَ النَّارِ " .

Can one of us sleep when he is junub? He said: “He may do wudoo’ and sleep if he wishes.” On one occasion
Sufyan said: `Let him do wudoo’ and sleep.`

`Umar (رضي الله عنه) said: I was marching with a group of people on a campaign with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and I swore, saying: No, by my father. A man behind me called out: “Do not swear by your fathers.` I turned around and saw it was the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ).
حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ كُنْتُ فِي رَكْبٍ أَسِيرُ فِي غَزَاةٍ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَحَلَفْتُ فَقُلْتُ لَا وَأَبِي فَهَتَفَ بِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ خَلْفِي لَا تَحْلِفُوا بِآبَائِكُمْ فَالْتَفَتُّ فَإِذَا هُوَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.

It was narrated that `Abdullah bin Nujayy said:
`Ali said: There was a time before dawn when I would ask to enter upon the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). If he was praying, he would say Subhan Allah to me, and that was my permission to enter; if he was not praying, he would give me permission to enter.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الثَّقَفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَارَةُ بْنُ الْقَعْقَاعِ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْعُكْلِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُجَيٍّ، قَالَ قَالَ عَلِيٌّ كَانَتْ لِي سَاعَةٌ مِنْ السَّحَرِ أَدْخُلُ فِيهَا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَإِنْ كَانَ قَائِمًا يُصَلِّي سَبَّحَ بِي فَكَانَ ذَاكَ إِذْنُهُ لِي وَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ يُصَلِّي أَذِنَ لِي.

It was narrated that `Abdullah bin Zurair al-Ghafiqi said:
I heard ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) say: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) held some gold in his right hand and some silk in his left hand, then he raised his hands and said: “These two are haram for the males of my ummah.`

It was narrated from Zirr that It was said to `Ali (رضي الله عنه):
The killer of az-Zubair is at the door. ‘Ali said: The killer of the son of Safiyyah will certainly enter the Fire. I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: `Every Prophet (ﷺ) has a disciple and my disciple is az-Zubair bin al-Awwam.`

It was narrated that ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) said:
l felt too shy to ask the Prophet (ﷺ) about madhi because of Fatimah (رضي الله عنها), so I told Al-Miqdad bin Al-Aswad and he asked the Prophet (ﷺ) about that. He said: `Wudoo’. should be done for that.`

Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Said from Amra bint Abd ar-Rahman that Abu Bakr as-Siddiq visited A'isha while she had a [health] complaint and a jewish woman was making incantation (ruqya) for her. Abu Bakr said, "Do it (incantation) with the Book of Allah."

The Prophet said, "You will be gathered (on the Day of Resurrection) and some people will be driven (by the angels) to the left side (and taken to Hell) whereupon I will say as the pious slave (Jesus) said:- - "And I was a witness over them while I dwelt amongst them...the ALMIGHTY, the All Wise." (5.117-118)

Narrated Anas bin Malik:
Two men sneezed before the Prophet. The Prophet said to one of them, "May Allah bestow His Mercy on you," but he did not say that to the other. On being asked (why), the Prophet said, "That one praised Allah (at the time of sneezing), while the other did not praise Allah."

Wathilah bin Al-Asqa' (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "Of the worst lies are: to claim a false father, or to pretend to have seen what one has not seen (tell a false dream), or to attribute to the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) what he has not said."

It was narrated that 'Alqamah and Al-Aswad said:
"We prayed with Abdullah bin Mas'ud in his house. He stood between us and we placed our hands on our knees, but he took them off and made us interlace our fingers, and said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah (SAW) do that.'"

Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Said that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was seen wiping the face of his horse with his cloak. He was questioned about it and said, "I was reproached in the night about horses." i.e. not taking care of them.

Narrated Ibn `Umar:
We were with the Prophet and fresh dates of a palm tree were brought to him. On that he said, "Amongst the trees, there is a tree which resembles a Muslim." I wanted to say that it was the datepalm tree but as I was the youngest of all (of them) I kept quiet. And then the Prophet said, "It is the date-palm tree."
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ قَالَ لِي ابْنُ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، قَالَ صَحِبْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ فَلَمْ أَسْمَعْهُ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِلاَّ حَدِيثًا وَاحِدًا، قَالَ كُنَّا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأُتِيَ بِجُمَّارٍ فَقَالَ " إِنَّ مِنَ الشَّجَرِ شَجَرَةً مَثَلُهَا كَمَثَلِ الْمُسْلِمِ ". فَأَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَقُولَ هِيَ النَّخْلَةُ، فَإِذَا أَنَا أَصْغَرُ الْقَوْمِ فَسَكَتُّ، قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " هِيَ النَّخْلَةُ ".

Narrated `Ata':
I heard Jabir bin `Abdullah saying, "The Prophet said, 'Whoever eats (from) this plant (he meant garlic) should keep away from our mosque." I said, "What does he mean by that?" He replied, "I think he means only raw garlic."

" مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ ـ يُرِيدُ الثُّومَ ـ فَلاَ يَغْشَانَا فِي مَسَاجِدِنَا ". قُلْتُ مَا يَعْنِي بِهِ قَالَ مَا أُرَاهُ يَعْنِي إِلاَّ نِيئَهُ. وَقَالَ مَخْلَدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ إِلاَّ نَتْنَهُ.

"Jabir bin Abdullah was asked whether a man should raise his hands when he sees the House. He said: "I do not think that anyone does that except the Jews. We performed Hajj with the Messenger of Allah and we did not do that." (Daif)

It was narrated that Ibn Abbas said:
"The she-Camel of a ma in Ihram broke his neck and killed him. He was brought to the Messenger of Allah and he said 'Wash him and shroud him, and do not cover his head, or bring any perfume near him, for he will be raisd reciting Talbiyah.'" (Sahih)

" اغْسِلُوهُ وَكَفِّنُوهُ وَلاَ تُغَطُّوا رَأْسَهُ وَلاَ تُقَرِّبُوهُ طِيبًا فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يُهِلُّ " .

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Wash the Muhrim in the two garments in which he entered Ihram, and wash him with water and lotus leaves, and shroud him in his two garments, and do not put perfume on him nor cover his head, for he will be raised on the Day of Resurrection in Ihram."'

" اغْسِلُوا الْمُحْرِمَ فِي ثَوْبَيْهِ اللَّذَيْنِ أَحْرَمَ فِيهِمَا وَاغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَكَفِّنُوهُ فِي ثَوْبَيْهِ وَلاَ تُمِسُّوهُ بِطِيبٍ وَلاَ تُخَمِّرُوا رَأْسَهُ فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُحْرِمًا " .

It was narrated that Abdur-Rahman bin Yamur said:
"I saw the Messenger of Allah when people came to him and asked him about Hajj. The Messenger of Allah said: 'Hajj is Arafat. Whoever catches up with the night of Arafat before dawn comes on the night of Jam (Al-Muzdalifah), his Hajj is complete.'"

" الْحَجُّ عَرَفَةُ فَمَنْ أَدْرَكَ لَيْلَةَ عَرَفَةَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الْفَجْرِ مِنْ لَيْلَةِ جَمْعٍ فَقَدْ تَمَّ حَجُّهُ " .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 4186
It was narrated from Salamah bin Al-Akwa ' that he entered upon Al-Hajjaj who said:
O son of Al-Akwa, you have turned on your heels (i.e., deserted Islam) by staying in the desert with the Bedouins." He said: "No; the Messenger of Allah gave me permission to stay in the desert with the Bedouins.
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الأَكْوَعِ، أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى الْحَجَّاجِ فَقَالَ يَا ابْنَ الأَكْوَعِ ارْتَدَدْتَ عَلَى عَقِبَيْكَ وَذَكَرَ كَلِمَةً مَعْنَاهَا وَبَدَوْتَ . قَالَ لاَ وَلَكِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَذِنَ لِي فِي الْبُدُوِّ .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 5001
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that:
A man said to him: "Why don't you go out and fight?" He said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah [SAW] say: 'Islam is built on five (pillars): Testimony that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, establishing Salah, giving Zakah, Hajj, and fasting Ramadan.'"
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعَافَى، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ عِمْرَانَ - عَنْ حَنْظَلَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، قَالَ لَهُ أَلاَ تَغْزُو قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ
" بُنِيَ الإِسْلاَمُ عَلَى خَمْسٍ شَهَادَةِ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَإِقَامِ الصَّلاَةِ وَإِيتَاءِ الزَّكَاةِ وَالْحَجِّ وَصِيَامِ رَمَضَانَ " .

Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1289
Narrated 'Amr bin Shu'aib:
From his father, from his grandfather, that the Prophet (saws) was asked about hanging fruits (on the trees), so he said: "Whoever is in need and picks some of it without taking any in his garment, then there is no sin upon him."
[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلاَنَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم سُئِلَ عَنِ الثَّمَرِ الْمُعَلَّقِ فَقَالَ
" مَنْ أَصَابَ مِنْهُ مِنْ ذِي حَاجَةٍ غَيْرَ مُتَّخِذٍ خُبْنَةً فَلاَ شَىْءَ عَلَيْهِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 5578
It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said:
"I heard 'Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, delivering a Khutbah on the Minbar of Al-Madinah and he said: 'O people, on the day that the prohibition of Khamr was revealed, it was made from five things: From grapes, dates, honey, wheat and barley. Khamr is that which overcomes the mind.'"
أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَيَّانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الشَّعْبِيُّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُمَرَ، رضى الله عنه يَخْطُبُ عَلَى مِنْبَرِ الْمَدِينَةِ فَقَالَ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ أَلاَ إِنَّهُ نَزَلَ تَحْرِيمُ الْخَمْرِ يَوْمَ نَزَلَ وَهِيَ مِنْ خَمْسَةٍ مِنَ الْعِنَبِ وَالتَّمْرِ وَالْعَسَلِ وَالْحِنْطَةِ وَالشَّعِيرِ وَالْخَمْرُ مَا خَامَرَ الْعَقْلَ .
