Sahih Muslim 2363
Anas reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) happened to pass by the people who had been busy in grafting the trees. Thereupon he said:
If you were not to do it, it might be good for you. (So they abandoned this practice) and there was a decline in the yield. He (the Holy Prophet) happened to pass by them (and said): What has gone wrong with your trees? They said: You said so and so. Thereupon he said: You have better knowledge (of a technical skill) in the affairs of the world.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَعَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ، كِلاَهُمَا عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، -
قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، - حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ
أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، وَعَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَرَّ بِقَوْمٍ يُلَقِّحُونَ
فَقَالَ " لَوْ لَمْ تَفْعَلُوا لَصَلُحَ " . قَالَ فَخَرَجَ شِيصًا فَمَرَّ بِهِمْ فَقَالَ " مَا لِنَخْلِكُمْ " . قَالُوا
قُلْتَ كَذَا وَكَذَا قَالَ " أَنْتُمْ أَعْلَمُ بِأَمْرِ دُنْيَاكُمْ " .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 407
It was narrated from Safwan bin Ya'la that his father said:
"The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: 'Allah loves concealment, so when any one of you performs Ghusl let him conceal himself with something.'"

Qais reported:
I said to 'Ammar: What is your opinion about that which you have done in case (of your siding with Hadrat 'Ali)? Is it your personal opinion or something you got from Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him)? 'Ammar said: We have got nothing from Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) which people at large did not get, but Hudhaifa told me that Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) had especially told him amongst his Companion, that there would be twelve hypocrites out of whom eight would not get into Paradise, until a camel would be able to pass through the needle hole. The ulcer would be itself sufficient (to kill) eight. So far as four are concerned, I do not remember what Shu'ba said about them.

مَا عَهِدَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم شَيْئًا لَمْ يَعْهَدْهُ إِلَى النَّاسِ كَافَّةً وَلَكِنْ حُذَيْفَةُ
أَخْبَرَنِي عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " فِي أَصْحَابِي
اثْنَا عَشَرَ مُنَافِقًا فِيهِمْ ثَمَانِيَةٌ لاَ يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ حَتَّى يَلِجَ الْجَمَلُ فِي سَمِّ الْخِيَاطِ ثَمَانِيَةٌ
مِنْهُمْ تَكْفِيكَهُمُ الدُّبَيْلَةُ وَأَرْبَعَةٌ " . لَمْ أَحْفَظْ مَا قَالَ شُعْبَةُ فِيهِمْ .

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet(SAW) saw a man chasing a pigeon and said:
"A male devil following a female devil."

Narrated AbuBarzah al-Aslami:
The Prophet (saws) said: O community of people, who believed by their tongue, and belief did not enter their hearts, do not back-bite Muslims, and do not search for their faults, for if anyone searches for their faults, Allah will search for his fault, and if Allah searches for the fault of anyone, He disgraces him in his house.

Sunan Abi Dawud 45
Narrated Abu Hurayrah :
When the Prophet (sal Allaahu alayhi wa sallam ) went to the privy, I took to him water in a small vessel or a skin, and he cleansed himself. He then wiped his hand on the ground. I then took to him another vessel and he performed ablution.
Abu Dawud said : The tradition is transmitted by al-Aswad b. 'Amir is more perfect.

The Prophet said: "There is no man who memorizes knowledge then conceals it, but he will be brought forth on the Day of Resurrection bridled with reins of fire." (Hasan)

Sunan Ibn Majah 599
It was narrated from 'Ali bin Abu Talib that:
The Prophet said: "Whoever leaves an area the size of a hair on his body and does not cleanse it from sexual impurity, such and such will be done to him in the Fire." 'Ali said: "Because of that I am hostile towards my hair," and he used to shave his head.

Musnad Ahmad 1340
It was narrated that `Abdullah bin Sabu’ said:
‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) addressed us and said: By the One Who split the seed and created the soul, this (his beard) will be soaked from this (his head, i.e., his beard would be soaked with blood from a wound in his head). He said: Tell us who he is. By Allah, we will eliminate him - or we will eliminate his family. He said: I adjure you by Allah not to kill anyone except the one who kills me. They said: If you know that, then appoint a successor. He said: No, rather I shall leave you as the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) left you.

It was narrated from Jabir from 'Abdur-Rahman bin Abza that Abu Bakr 4 said:
I was sitting with the Prophet (ﷺ) when Ma'iz bin Malik came and confessed (to adultery) in his presence once, and he sent him away. Then he came and admitted it in his presence a second time and he sent him away. Then he came and admitted it in his presence a third time and he sent him away. I said to him: If you confess a fourth time, he will stone you. Then he admitted it the fourth time, so he detained him and asked about him, and they said: We do not know anything but good about him. Then he ordered that he be stoned.
حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَى، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، قَالَ كُنْتُ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَالِسًا فَجَاءَ مَاعِزُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ فَاعْتَرَفَ عِنْدَهُ مَرَّةً فَرَدَّهُ ثُمَّ جَاءَهُ فَاعْتَرَفَ عِنْدَهُ الثَّانِيَةَ فَرَدَّهُ ثُمَّ جَاءَهُ فَاعْتَرَفَ الثَّالِثَةَ فَرَدَّهُ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ إِنَّكَ إِنْ اعْتَرَفْتَ الرَّابِعَةَ رَجَمَكَ قَالَ فَاعْتَرَفَ الرَّابِعَةَ فَحَبَسَهُ ثُمَّ سَأَلَ عَنْهُ فَقَالُوا مَا نَعْلَمُ إِلَّا خَيْرًا قَالَ فَأَمَرَ بِرَجْمِهِ.

Ibn ‘Umar said:
We used to say in the times of the Prophet (saws): We do not compare anyone with Abu Bakr. ’Umar came next and then ‘Uthman. We then would leave (rest of) the companions of the Prophet (saws) without treating any as superior to other.

Abu Barzah Al-Aslami narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said:
"The feet of the slave of Allah shall not move [on the Day of Judgement] until he is asked about five things: about his life and what he did with it, about his knowledge and what he did with it, about his wealth and how he earned it and where he spent it on, about his body and for what did he wear it out."
[He said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih. Sa'eed bin Abdullah bin Juraij (a narrator in the chain) [is from Al-Basrah], and he is the freed slave of Abu Barzah AlAslami, and Abu Barzah AlAslami's name is Nadlah bin 'Ubaid.

Sa`id b. Jubair reported on the authority of Ibn `Abbas (Allah be pleased with them) that the camel of a person broke his neck as he was in the company of Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him). The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) commanded them (Companions) to wash him with water mixed (with the leaves of) the lote (tree) and to keep his face exposed; (he, the narrator) said:
And his head (too), for he would be raised on the Day of Resurrection pronouncing Talbiya.
حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ زُهَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ، يَقُولُ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ - رضى الله عنهما - وَقَصَتْ رَجُلاً رَاحِلَتُهُ وَهُوَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَمَرَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ يَغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَأَنْ يَكْشِفُوا وَجْهَهُ - حَسِبْتُهُ قَالَ - وَرَأْسَهُ فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَهُوَ يُهِلُّ .

أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْمَخْرَمِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الأَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَا أَبَا الدَّرْدَاءِ لا تَخُصَّ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ بِصِيَامٍ دُونَ الأَيَّامِ ، وَلا تَخُصَّ لَيْلَةَ الْجُمُعَةِ بِقِيَامٍ دُونَ اللَّيَالِي "

Sunan Abi Dawud 3266
Narrated Laqit ibn Amir:
We came to the Messenger of Allah (saws) in a delegation. The Prophet (saws) then said: By the age of thy god.
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ السَّمَعِيُّ الأَنْصَارِيُّ، عَنْ دَلْهَمِ بْنِ الأَسْوَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حَاجِبِ بْنِ عَامِرِ بْنِ الْمُنْتَفِقِ الْعُقَيْلِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ، لَقِيطِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ دَلْهَمٌ وَحَدَّثَنِيهِ أَيْضًا الأَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ لَقِيطٍ، : أَنَّ لَقِيطَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ، خَرَجَ وَافِدًا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ لَقِيطٌ : فَقَدِمْنَا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَذَكَرَ حَدِيثًا فِيهِ : فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم : " لَعَمْرُ إِلَهِكَ " .

حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، عَنْ شَرِيكٍ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ رِبْعِيٍّ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " يَا مَعْشَرَ قُرَيْشٍ , لَيَبْعَثَنَّ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمْ رَجُلًا مِنْكُمْ قَدِ امْتَحَنَ اللَّهُ قَلْبَهُ لِلْإِيمَانِ فَيَضْرِبُكُمْ أَوْ يَضْرِبُ رِقَابَكُمْ " فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : أَنَا هُوَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ قَالَ : " لَا " , فَقَالَ عُمَرُ : أَنَا هُوَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ قَالَ : " لَا , وَلَكِنَّهُ خَاصِفُ النَّعْلِ " وَكَانَ أَعْطَى عَلِيًّا نَعْلَهُ يَخْصِفُهَا

Sunan an-Nasa'i 3542
It was narrated from Hafsah, from Umm 'Atiyyah, from the Prophet, that he granted a concession to the woman whose husband has died, allowing her to use Qust and Azfar when purifying herself following her menses.

Miqdad b. Aswad reported:
I heard Allah's Messenger (may peace he upon him) as saying: On the Day of Resurrection, the sun would draw so close to the people that there woum be left only a distance of one mile. Sulaim b. Amir said: By Allah, I do not know whether he meant by" mile" the mile of the (material) earth or dn instrument used for applying collyrium to the eye. (The Holy Prophet is, however, reported to have said): The people would be submerged in perspiration according to their deeds, some up to their. knees, Some up to the waist and some would have the bridle of perspiration and, while saying this, Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) pointed his hand towards his mouth.
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى أَبُو صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ،
جَابِرٍ حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي الْمِقْدَادُ بْنُ الأَسْوَدِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله
عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " تُدْنَى الشَّمْسُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مِنَ الْخَلْقِ حَتَّى تَكُونَ مِنْهُمْ كَمِقْدَارِ مِيلٍ "
. قَالَ سُلَيْمُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ فَوَاللَّهِ مَا أَدْرِي مَا يَعْنِي بِالْمِيلِ أَمَسَافَةَ الأَرْضِ أَمِ الْمِيلَ الَّذِي تُكْتَحَلُ
بِهِ الْعَيْنُ . قَالَ " فَيَكُونُ النَّاسُ عَلَى قَدْرِ أَعْمَالِهِمْ فِي الْعَرَقِ فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَكُونُ إِلَى كَعْبَيْهِ
وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَكُونُ إِلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَكُونُ إِلَى حَقْوَيْهِ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يُلْجِمُهُ الْعَرَقُ إِلْجَامًا
" . قَالَ وَأَشَارَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِيَدِهِ إِلَى فِيهِ .

"The Messenger of Allah would not perform ablution after the bath to cleanse himself from sexual impurity."

Narrated Abu Muhayyah:
from Laith, from Nafi, from Ibn 'Umar that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "Beware of nakedness! For indeed there are with you, those who do not part from you except at the place of defecation, and when a man goes into his wife. So be shy of them and honor them."
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ نِيْزَكَ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُحَيَّاةَ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِيَّاكُمْ وَالتَّعَرِّي فَإِنَّ مَعَكُمْ مَنْ لاَ يُفَارِقُكُمْ إِلاَّ عِنْدَ الْغَائِطِ وَحِينَ يُفْضِي الرَّجُلُ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ فَاسْتَحْيُوهُمْ وَأَكْرِمُوهُمْ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ وَأَبُو مُحَيَّاةَ اسْمُهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ يَعْلَى .
