Mishkat al-Masabih 4031
Ibn ‘Umar told that God's Messenger stood up, i.e. on the day of Badr, and said, ‘Uthman has gone off on the business of God and His Messenger and I shall take the oath of allegiance on his behalf. God’s Messenger then appointed him a share, but did not do so for anyone else who was absent.
Abu Dawud transmitted it.
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَامَ يَعْنِي يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ فَقَالَ: «إِنَّ عُثْمَانَ انْطَلَقَ فِي حَاجَةِ اللَّهِ وَحَاجَةِ رَسُولِهِ وَإِنِّي أُبَايِعُ لَهُ» فَضَرَبَ لَهُ رسولُ الله بِسَهْمٍ وَلَمْ يَضْرِبْ بِشَيْءٍ لِأَحَدٍ غَابَ غَيْرَهُ. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد

'Abdullah ibn 'Amr said, "A man came to the Prophet, may Allah bless
him and grant him peace, and said, 'I have come to make you a pledge that
will do hijra although I have left my parents in tears." The Prophet said,
'Go back to them and make them laugh as you made them cry.'"

Abu Musa reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless
him and grant him peace, said, "The slave who is excellent in the worship

to his master, has two rewards."

Al-Ash'ari said, "Part of respect for Allah is to show respect
to an old Muslim and to someone who knows the Qur'an, as long as he does
not go to excess in it nor turn away from it, and to respect a just ruler."

Ibn 'Abbas said that a man - or a bedouin - came to the

Ibn Abi'l-Hudhayl said, "Messenger of Allah visited a man with
one of his companions. When he entered the house, his companion began to
look around. 'Abdullah told him, 'By Allah, it would have been better for
you if your eyes had been gouged out."

It is narrated by Jabir that he heard the Messenger of Allah (saws) say, "If a believing man or a believing woman or a Muslim man or Muslim woman falls ill then Allah, the exalted, forgives them their sins (because of their illness)."

Ibn 'Umar (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) said, “When you place your deceased in the grave, say, ‘In the Name of Allah, and in accordance with the tradition of Allah’s Messenger (P.B.U.H.).” Related by Ahmad, Abu Dawud and An-Nasa’i.
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا, عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالَ: { إِذَا وَضَعْتُمْ مَوْتَاكُمْ فِي الْقُبُورِ, فَقُولُوا: بِسْمِ اللَّهِ, وَعَلَى مِلَّةِ رَسُولِ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -. } أَخْرَجَهُ أَحْمَدُ, وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ, وَالنَّسَائِيُّ, وَصَحَّحَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ, وَأَعَلَّهُ الدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ بِالْوَقْف ِ 1 .

Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah (RAA):
concerning the man who had a head injury, and then he made Ghusl and died: Allah's Messenger Peace be upon him said, "It would have been enough for him to perform Tayammum and wrap it with something and wipe over the wrapping and wash the rest of his body."
[Reported by Abu Da'ud, but there is a weakness in its chain of narrators]
{ وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ]بْنُ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ] رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا فِي اَلرَّجُلِ اَلَّذِي شُجَّ, فَاغْتَسَلَ فَمَاتَ -:
"إِنَّمَا كَانَ يَكْفِيهِ أَنْ يَتَيَمَّمَ, وَيَعْصِبَ عَلَى جُرْحِهِ خِرْقَةً, ثُمَّ يَمْسَحَ عَلَيْهَا وَيَغْسِلَ سَائِرَ جَسَدِهِ" } رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ بِسَنَدٍ فِيهِ ضَعْفٌ, وَفِيهِ اِخْتِلَافٌ عَلَى رُوَاتِه ِ 1 .

Narrated Bahz bin Hakim on his father's authority from his grandfather (RA):
I asked, "O Allah's Messenger, to whom should I be kind and dutiful?" He replied, "Your mother." I asked, "Who comes next?" He replied, "Your mother." I asked, "Who comes next?" He replied, "Your mother." I asked, "Who comes next?" He replied, "Your father, then your relatives in order of nearness (of relationship)."
[Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi reported it; the latter graded it Hasan (good)].
وَعَنْ بَهْزِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ, عَنْ أَبِيهِ, عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ: { قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ! مَنْ أَبَرُّ? قَالَ: "أُمَّكَ". قُلْتُ: ثُمَّ مِنْ? قَالَ: "أُمَّكَ". قُلْتُ: ثُمَّ مِنْ "? قَالَ: "أُمَّكَ". قُلْتُ: ثُمَّ مِنْ? قَالَ: "أَبَاكَ, ثُمَّ اَلْأَقْرَبَ فَالْأَقْرَبَ". } أَخْرَجَهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ, وَاَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ وَحُسَّنَهُ 1 .

Narrated Rafi' bin Sinan (RA):
He accepted Islam but his wife refused to accept it. The Prophet (SAW) then made the mother sit down to a side and the father to another side and made the son sit down between them. He (the son) then inclined to his mother, so the Prophet (SAW) then said. "O Allah, give him guidance." Then he inclined to his father and he took him.
[Abu Dawud and an-Nasa'i reported it. al-Hakim graded it Sahih (authentic)].
وَعَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ; { أَنَّهُ أَسْلَمَ, وَأَبَتِ اِمْرَأَتُهُ أَنْ تُسْلِمَ. فَأَقْعَدَ اَلنَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -اَلْأُمَّ نَاحِيَةً, وَالْأَبَ نَاحِيَةً, وَأَقْعَدَ اَلصَّبِيَّ بَيْنَهُمَا. فَمَالَ إِلَى أُمِّهِ, فَقَالَ:
"اَللَّهُمَّ اِهْدِهِ". فَمَالَ إِلَى أَبِيهِ, فَأَخَذَهُ. } أَخْرَجَهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ, وَالنَّسَائِيُّ, وَصححه الْحَاكِمُ 1 .

Abu Dawud and Malik reported the aforesaid Hadith from the narration of Abu Bakr bin 'Abdur-Rahman, as Mursal (broken chain after the Tabi'i), with this wording:
"If anyone sells some goods (on credit) and the one who buys them becomes bankrupt, and the seller does not recover any of the price of his goods, and he then finds his very goods (with him), he is more entitled to them (than anyone else). However, if the buyer dies, the owner of the goods finds his actual goods he has most right to them."
وَرَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ, وَمَالِكٌ: مِنْ رِوَايَةِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اَلرَّحْمَنِ مُرْسَلًا بِلَفْظِ: { أَيُّمَا رَجُلٌ بَاعَ مَتَاعًا فَأَفْلَسَ اَلَّذِي اِبْتَاعَهُ, وَلَمْ يَقْبِضِ اَلَّذِي بَاعَهُ مِنْ ثَمَنِهِ شَيْئًا , فَوَجَدَ مَتَاعَهُ بِعَيْنِهِ, فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهِ, وَإِنْ مَاتَ اَلْمُشْتَرِي فَصَاحِبُ اَلْمَتَاعِ أُسْوَةُ اَلْغُرَمَاءِ } 1 .

Narrated al-Miqdam bin Ma'dikarib (RA):
Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "A beast of prey with a fang, a domestic donkey, and a lost item from the property of a Mu'ahid (a disbeliever who has been given a covenant) - unless it is something worthless - are not lawful."

وَعَنْ اَلْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ مَعْدِي كَرِبَ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ أَلَا لَا يَحِلُّ ذُو نَابٍ مِنَ السِّبَاعِ , وَلَا اَلْحِمَارُ اَلْأَهْلِيُّ , وَلَا اَللُّقَطَةُ مِنْ 57 مَالِ مُعَاهَدٍ , إِلَّا أَنْ يَسْتَغْنِيَ عَنْهَا } رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ 1 .

Narrated Mu'adh bin Jabal (RA) Allah's Messenger (SAW) told me, "O Mu'adh, I will give you some advice - Never leave the recitation of this supplication after every prayer:
'O Allah, help me to remember You, thank You, and worship You perfectly.'"

وَعَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ - رضى الله عنه - { أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالَ لَهُ : " أُوصِيكَ يَا مُعَاذُ : لَا تَدَعَنَّ دُبُرَ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ أَنْ تَقُولُ : اَللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ } رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ , وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ , وَالنَّسَائِيُّ بِسَنَدٍ قَوِيٍّ . 1

Narrated Abu 'Umair bin Anas bin Malik (RA) on the authority of some of his paternal uncles who were among the Companions, that some riders came and testified that they had seen the new moon the previous day. The Prophet (SAW) therefore commanded the people to break the fast and go out to their place of prayer in the morning.
[Reported by Ahmad and Abu Dawud. This is Abu Dawud's wording and its Isnad is Sahih (authentic)].
وَعَنْ أَبِي عُمَيْرِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ, عَنْ عُمُومَةٍ لَهُ مِنَ اَلصَّحَابَةِ, { أَنَّ رَكْبًا جَاءُوا, فَشَهِدُوا أَنَّهُمْ رَأَوُا الْهِلَالَ بِالْأَمْسِ, فَأَمَرَهُمْ اَلنَّبِيُّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -أَنْ يُفْطِرُوا, وَإِذَا أَصْبَحُوا يَغْدُوا إِلَى مُصَلَّاهُمْ } رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ, وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ -وَهَذَا لَفْظُهُ- وَإِسْنَادُهُ صَحِيحٌ 1 .

This hadith has been narrated by Qatada with the same chain of transmitters in these words:
He (the Messenger of Allah) said: Allah divided the Qur'an into three parts, and he made:" Say: He, Allah is One." one part out of the (three) parts of the Qur'an.”

Mishkat al-Masabih 181
Anas declared that God’s messenger used to say, “Do not impose austerities on yourselves and so have God imposing austerities on you; for people have imposed austerities on themselves and God has imposed austerities on them. Their survivors are to be found in cells and monasteries.” [Then he quoted], “Monasticism, they invented it; we did not prescribe it for them.” 1

Abu Huraira said, "When the Prophet went to the privy I brought him water in a small vessel or a skin and he cleaned himself, after which he wiped his hand on the ground. I then brought him another vessel and he performed ablution.”
Abu Dawud transmitted it, and Darimi and Nasa’i transmitted something similar.

Abu Sa'id al-Khudri said that some people asked God’s messenger whether they might perform ablution out of the well of Buda‘a, which was a well into which menstrual cloths, dead dogs and stinking things were thrown, and he replied, “Water is pure and is not defiled by anything.”
Ahmad, Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud and Nasa’i transmitted it.
وَعَن أبي سعيد الْخُدْرِيّ قَالَ: قيل يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَنَتَوَضَّأُ مِنْ بِئْرٍ بُضَاعَةَ وَهِيَ بِئْرٌ يُلْقَى فِيهَا الْحِيَضُ وَلُحُومُ الْكِلَابِ وَالنَّتْنُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ الْمَاءَ طَهُورٌ لَا يُنَجِّسُهُ شَيْءٌ» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمد وَالتِّرْمِذِيّ وَأَبُو دَاوُد وَالنَّسَائِيّ

Mishkat al-Masabih 2106
She said that the sunna for one who is observing a period of private devotion in a mosque is not to visit an invalid, or attend a funeral, or touch or embrace one’s wife, or go out for anything but necessary purposes. There is no period of private devotion in a mosque without fasting, and it must be carried out in a congregational mosque.
Abu Dawud transmitted it.
وَعَن عَائِشَة رَضِي الله عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: السُّنَّةُ عَلَى الْمُعْتَكِفِ أَنْ لَا يَعُودَ مَرِيضًا وَلَا يَشْهَدُ جِنَازَةً وَلَا يَمَسُّ الْمَرْأَةَ وَلَا يُبَاشِرُهَا وَلَا يَخْرُجُ لِحَاجَةٍ إِلَّا لِمَا لابد مِنْهُ وَلَا اعْتِكَافَ إِلَّا بِصَوْمٍ وَلَا اعْتِكَافَ إِلَّا فِي مَسْجِدٍ جَامِعٍ. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ

Mishkat al-Masabih 2151, 2152
Al-Irbād b. Sāriya said the Prophet used to recite al-Musabbihāt* before going to sleep, and say they contained a verse which is better than a thousand verses.
*These are said to be sūras 57, 59, 61, 62, 64, 87 which begin with the perfect, imperfect, or imperative of the verb sabbaha ('to glorify').
Tirmidhī and Abū Dāwūd transmitted it, and Dārimī transmitted it in mursal form on the authority of Khalid b. Ma'dān. Tirmidhī said this is a hasan gharīb tradition.
وَعَنِ الْعِرْبَاضِ بْنِ سَارِيَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ الْمُسَبِّحَاتِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَرْقُدَ يَقُولُ: «إِنَّ فِيهِنَّ آيَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَلْفِ آيَةٍ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ.

Mishkat al-Masabih 2804
'Amr b. Shu'aib, on his father's authority, said that his grandfather reported God’s Messenger as saying, “Both parties in a business transaction have a right to annul it so long as they have not separated unless it is a bargain with the right to annul it attached to it; and one has not the right to separate from the other for fear that he may demand that the bargain be rescinded.”
Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud and Nasa’i transmitted it.

Mishkat al-Masabih 2935
Jabir said he intended to go to Khaibar, so he went to the Prophet, gave him a salutation and told him of his purpose. He replied, “When you come to my agent take fifteen camel-loads from him, and if he desires a sign from you put your hand on his collar-bone*”.
*This was evidently a pre-arranged sign to show that the Messenger was genuine.
Abu Dawud transmitted it.
وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: أَرَدْتُ الْخُرُوجَ إِلَى خَيْبَرَ فَأَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسَلَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ وَقُلْتُ: إِنِّي أَرَدْتُ الْخُرُوجَ إِلَى خَيْبَرَ فَقَالَ: «إِذَا أَتَيْتَ وَكِيلِي فَخُذْ مِنْهُ خَمْسَةَ عَشَرَ وَسْقًا فَإِنِ ابْتَغَى مِنْكَ آيَةً فَضَعْ يدك على ترقوته» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد

Haram b; Sa‘d b. Muhayyisa said that when a she-camel belonging to al-Bara’ b. ‘Azib entered a garden and did damage, God’s Messenger gave decision that the owners of gardens are responsible for guarding them by day, but that any damage done by animals during the night is a responsibility lying on their owners.
Malik, Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah transmitted it.
وَعَن حَرَامِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُحَيِّصَةَ: أَنَّ نَاقَةً لِلْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ دَخَلَتْ حَائِطًا فَأَفْسَدَتْ فَقَضَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَن أَهْلِ الْحَوَائِطِ حِفْظَهَا بِالنَّهَارِ وَأَنَّ مَا أَفْسَدَتِ الْمَوَاشِي بِاللَّيْلِ ضَامِنٌ عَلَى أَهْلِهَا. رَوَاهُ مَالِكٌ وَأَبُو دَاوُد وَابْن مَاجَه

‘Ubada b. as-Samit told that he said, “Messenger of God, one of those whom I have been teaching the Book and the Qur’an has presented me with a bow, and as it cannot be reckoned property may I shoot with it in God's path?" He replied, “If you want to have a necklace of fire put on you, accept it."
Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah transmitted it.
وَعَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ رَجُلٌ أَهْدَى إِلَيَّ قَوْسًا مِمَّنْ كُنْتُ أُعَلِّمُهُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْقُرْآنَ وَلَيْسَتْ بِمَالٍ فَأَرْمِي عَلَيْهَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ قَالَ: «إِنْ كُنْتَ تُحِبُّ أَنْ تُطَوَّقَ طَوْقًا مِنْ نَارٍ فَاقْبَلْهَا» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد وَابْن مَاجَه

Jabir reported the Prophet as saying, “If anyone is given a gift and has the means he should make a return for it, but if he has not the means he should express commendation, for he who expresses commendation has given thanks, he who conceals a matter has been ungrateful, and he who decks himself with what he has not been given is like him who puts on the two garments of falsehood.”
Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud transmitted it.
وَعَنْ جَابِرٌ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ أُعْطِيَ عَطَاءً فَوَجَدَ فَلْيُجْزِ بِهِ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ فَلْيُثْنِ فَإِنَّ مَنْ أَثْنَى فَقَدْ شَكَرَ وَمَنْ كَتَمَ فَقَدْ كَفَرَ وَمَنْ تَحَلَّى بِمَا لَمْ يُعْطَ كَانَ كَلَابِسِ ثوبي زور» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ وَأَبُو دَاوُد

Abu Qilaba quoted Anas as saying:
It pertains to the sunna that when a man who has a wife marries a virgin he should stay with her for seven nights and then divide the time between them, but if he marries a woman who has been previously married he should stay with her three nights and then divide his time between his wives. Abu (Qilaba remarked that if he wished he could say that Anas traced it to the Prophet.

Hakim b. Mu'awiya al-Qushairi quoted his father as telling that he asked:
“Messenger of God, what right can any wife demand of her husband?’’ He replied, “That you should give her food when you eat, clothe her when you clothe yourself, not strike her on the face, and do not revile her or separate from her except in the house” (Al-Quran 4:34).
Ahmad, Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah transmitted it.
وَعَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْقُشَيْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا حَقُّ زَوْجَةِ أَحَدِنَا عَلَيْهِ؟ قَالَ: «أَنْ تُطْعِمَهَا إِذَا طَعِمْتَ وَتَكْسُوَهَا إِذَا اكْتَسَيْتَ وَلَا تَضْرِبِ الْوَجْهَ وَلَا تُقَبِّحْ وَلَا تَهْجُرْ إِلَّا فِي الْبَيْتِ» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمد وَأَبُو دَاوُد وَابْن مَاجَه

Ali reported God’s Messenger as saying, “There are three whose actions are not recorded:
a sleeper till he awakes, a boy till he reaches puberty, and an idiot till he is restored to reason.”
Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud transmitted it. Darimi transmitted it on the authority of 'A’isha, and Ibn Majah on the authority of both (i.e. ‘Ali and ‘A’isha’)
وَعَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
" رُفِعَ الْقَلَمُ عَنْ ثَلَاثَةٍ: عَنِ النَّائِمِ حَتَّى يَسْتَيْقِظَ وَعَنِ الصَّبِيِّ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ وَعَنِ الْمَعْتُوهِ حَتَّى يعقل ". رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ وَأَبُو دَاوُد

‘Amr b. Shu'aib, on his father’s authority, told that his grandfather reported God's Messenger as saying, “If anyone has agreed to let his slave buy his freedom for a hundred uqiyas and he pays them all but ten (or he said, ten dinars), and he is then unable to complete the amount, he remains a slave.”

" مَنْ كَاتَبَ عَبْدَهُ عَلَى مِائَةِ أُوقِيَّةٍ فَأَدَّاهَا إِلَّا عَشْرَ أَوَاقٍ أَوْ قَالَ: عَشْرَةَ دَنَانِيرَ ثُمَّ عَجَزَ فَهُوَ رَقِيقٌ ". رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ وَأَبُو دَاوُد وَابْن مَاجَه

Sa'id b. Zaid reported God’s Messenger as saying, “He who is killed in defence of his religion is a martyr, he who is killed in self-defence is a martyr, he who is killed in defence of his property is a martyr, and he who is killed in defence of his family is a martyr.”

وَعَن سعيدِ بنِ زيدٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ دِينِهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ وَمَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ دَمِهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ وَمَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ مَالِهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ وَمَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ أَهْلِهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ وَالنَّسَائِيُّ

'Abdallah b. ‘Amr told that God’s Messenger cursed the one who bribes and the one who takes bribes.
Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah transmitted it. Tirmidhi transmitted it on ‘Abdallah’s authority and on that of Abu Huraira. Ahmad and Baihaqi, in Shu'ab al-iman, transmitted it on the authority of Thauban, who added that the raish is the go-between regarding a bribe.

Shutair b. Shakal b. Humaid said that his father asked God’s Prophet to teach him a formula by which he might seek refuge in God, and he told him to say, “O God, I seek refuge in Thee from evil in what I hear, see, speak, think about, and from evil arising from my sexual passion.”
Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi and Nasa’i transmitted it.

This is what was transmitted to us by Abu Huraira from the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) and, while making a mention of a few ahadith, said: (The Messengerof Allah directed us thus): Establish rows in prayer, for the making of a row (straight) is one of the merits of prayer.

Masruq is reported to have asked 'A'isha about the action (most pleasing to) the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him). She said:
He (the Holy Prophet) loved (that action) which one keeps on doing regularly. I said (to 'A'isha): When did he pray (at night)? She replied: When he heard the cock crow, he got up and observed prayer.

Humaid reported that Anas (Allah be pleased with him) was asked about fasting during Ramadan while travelling. He said:
We travelled with the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) during the month of Ramadan, but neither the observer of the fast found fault with the breaker of the fast, nor the breaker of the fast found fault with the observer of the fast.

The Prophet of Allah entered a thicket and relieved himself, then Jarir brought him a small water skin from which he cleansed himself, then he wiped his hand in the dirt.

"I heard Ibn 'Abbas say: 'I stayed overnight with my maternal aunt Maimunah, and the Prophet got up and performed ablution from an old water skin, and he did a brief ablution. Then I got up and did the same as he had done."

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that:
The Messenger of Allah said: "The prayer in congregation is twenty-five times more virtuous than the prayer of anyone of you on his own."

" فَضْلُ الْجَمَاعَةِ عَلَى صَلاَةِ أَحَدِكُمْ وَحْدَهُ خَمْسٌ وَعِشْرُونَ جُزْءًا " .

Sunan Ibn Majah 3863
It was narrated that Umm Haim bint Wadda' Al-Khuza'iyyah said:
"I heard the Messenger of Allah (saas) say: 'The supplication of a father reaches the Veil (i.e. the place of repentance).'"

Sunan Ibn Majah 3842
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that :
the Messenger of Allah (saas) said: "Seek refuge with Allah from poverty, insufficiency and humiliation, and from wronging (others) and being wronged.'"

Sunan Ibn Majah 3805
It was narrated from Anas that :
the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: 'Allah does not bestow a blessing upon any slave and he says: 'Al-hamdu Lillah (praise is to Allah),' except that what he gives (the praise) is better than what he received (the blessing)."

It was narrated that Miqdad bin 'Amr said:
"The Messenger of Allah(SAW) commanded us to throw dust in the faces of those who praise others."

Sunan Ibn Majah 3729
It was narrated from 'Umar ibn Al-Khattab that the Prophet(SAW) said:
"If I live- if Allah wills - I will forbid the names Rabah(profit), Najih(saved), Aflah (Successful), Nafi (beneficial) and Yasar(prosperity)."

It was narrated that Jabir said:
"I asked the Prophet(SAW) for permission to enter, and he said: 'Who is that?' I said: 'Me'. The Prophet(SAW) said " Me, me?!"

It was narrated that Abu Ayyub Ansari said:
"We said: 'O Messenger of Allah(SAW), (we know) this (greeting of) Salam, but what does seeking permission to enter mean?' He said: 'It means a man saying SubhanAllah, and Allahu Akbar and Al Hamdulillah, and clearing his throat, announcing his arrival to the people in the house."

" يَتَكَلَّمُ الرَّجُلُ تَسْبِيحَةً وَتَكْبِيرَةً وَتَحْمِيدَةً وَيَتَنَحْنَحُ وَيُؤْذِنُ أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ " .

It was narrated that Abu Barzah Al-Aslami said:
"O Messenger of Allah! Tell me of an action by which I may benefit.' He said: 'Remove harmful things from the path of the Muslims.'"

that the Messenger of Allah said: 'Breast-feeding makes unlawful (for marriages) the same things that blood tie make unlawful.”

" الْعُمْرَى جَائِزَةٌ لِمَنْ أُعْمِرَهَا وَالرُّقْبَى جَائِزَةٌ لِمَنْ أُرْقِبَهَا " .
