Narrated 'Umar (RA):
Allah's Messenger (SAW) forbade the wearing of silk except the space of two or three or four fingers.

Jabir reported the Prophet as saying, “When a dead man is covered up in his grave he will be shown the setting sun and will sit up, rub his eyes, and say, ‘Let me observe the prayer’."

Abu Huraira reported the Prophet as saying, “You will be eager for the office of commander, but it will become a cause of regret on the day of resurrection. It is a good suckler but an evil weaner.”*
Bukhari transmitted it.
*In the beginning it causes pleasure, but later such pleasures are cut off. The idea is that one gladly undertakes high office, but later finds it to be a cause of grief.

Mishkat al-Masabih 4528
Umm Salama told that the Prophet saw in her house a girl with saf’a, i.e. yellowness,* in her face and said:
“Use an invocation for her, for she has been affected by the evil eye.”

* Saf’a is explained as a stroke from the devil, or the influence of the evil eye. It may be read suf’a which means blackness, or blackness tinged with red. Sufra normally means yellowness, but it can also mean blackness, and that may be the interpretation it should have here, in which case one should read suf'a.
وَعَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى فِي بَيْتِهَا جَارِيَةً فِي وجهِها سفعة يَعْنِي صُفْرَةً فَقَالَ: «اسْتَرْقُوا لَهَا فَإِنَّ بِهَا النَّظْرَةَ»

Mishkat al-Masabih 5598, 5599
Anas reported the Prophet as saying, "My intercession will be for those of my people who have committed major sins."
Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud transmitted it, and Ibn Majah transmitted it on Jabir's authority.
وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قا ل: «شَفَاعَتِي لِأَهْلِ الْكَبَائِرِ مِنْ أُمَّتِي» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَأَبُو دَاوُد

Mishkat al-Masabih 5879
Sulaiman b. Surad reported the Prophet as saying when the Confederates[*] were removed from him, "Now we shall raid them and they will not raid us; we shall go to them."
*Those who fought against the Muslims at the battle of the Trench (cf. Quran. 82:9 ff).

Narrated al-Hasan from Samurah (RA):
The Prophet (SAW) said, "If two guardians have given a woman in marriage, she marries the man she was first married to."

Narrated Jabir (RA):
A man entered the mosque on a Friday when the Prophet (SAW) was delivering the Khutbah (religious talk, sermon) and he [the Prophet (SAW)] said, "Have you prayed? He replied, "No." He [the Prophet (SAW)] said, "Stand and pray two Rak'at."
[Agreed upon].
وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: { دَخَلَ رَجُلٌ يَوْمَ اَلْجُمُعَةِ, وَالنَّبِيُّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -يَخْطُبُ . فَقَالَ: "صَلَّيْتَ?" قَالَ: لَا. قَالَ: "قُمْ فَصَلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ" } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ . 1 .

Hisn al-Muslim 263
Whenever anyone accepted Islam, the Prophet (SAW) used to teach him how to
pray then he would instruct him to invoke Allah with the following words:
Allāhummaghfir lī, warḥamnī, waḥdinī, wa `āfinī warzuqnī.

O Allah forgive me, and have mercy on me and guide me and give me good health and provide for me.

‘Ali said:
My prostatic fluid flowed readily, and I was ashamed to consult the Prophet because of the position of his daughter so I gave orders to al-Miqdad to consult him, and the Prophet said, “He must wash his penis and perform ablution.”

Mishkat al-Masabih 2803
Ibn ‘Umar said that a man told the Prophet that he was being deceived in business transactions, and he replied, "When you make a bargain say, 'There is no attempt to deceive'*.” Then the man made a habit of saying that.

* He was to say this to protect himself because he was not expert enough to detect defects in what he was buying. Some hold that one who says this has the right to cancel the transaction if any defect is discovered within three days. Some say this applied only to the man who spoke to the Prophet; others say it applies to anyone.
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَجُلٌ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنِّي أُخْدَعُ فِي الْبُيُوعِ فَقَالَ:
" إِذَا بَايَعْتَ فَقُلْ: لَا خلابة " فَكَانَ الرجل يَقُوله

Jabir said the Prophet decreed the right to buy neighbouring property applicable to everything which is not divided, but when boundaries were fixed and separate roads made there was no option.

Jabir reported the Prophet as saying, “Do not give property to go to the survivor* and do not give life-tenancy, for if anyone is given either the property goes to his heirs."
*This is said to be objectionable, as it may lead to the men hoping the other will die first.

Ibn ‘Abbas reported the Prophet as saying, ‘Adulteresses are those women who marry themselves without evidence.” The soundest view is that it does not go back farther than Ibn ‘Abbas.

Ibn ‘Abbas reported the Prophet as saying, “When a man’s slave-woman bears him a child she becomes free at his death.”*
Darimi transmitted it.
* The text has 'au durbur in minhu au ba'dahu’ indicating a doubt on the part of a transmitter as to which words were used. Both expressions amount to the same thing so it seems sufficient to give "at his death" in the translation above.

Narrated Ibn `Abbas:
The Prophet said, "This and this are the same." He meant the little finger and the thumb.

Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard that A'isha, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to give the property of the orphans that were in her house to whoever would use it to trade with on their behalf.
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ، زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَتْ تُعْطِي أَمْوَالَ الْيَتَامَى الَّذِينَ فِي حَجْرِهَا مَنْ يَتَّجِرُ لَهُمْ فِيهَا .
