Sunan Abi Dawud 4384
‘A’ishah reported the prophet (saws) as saying :
A thief’s hand should be cut off for a quarter of a dinar and upwards.
Ahmed b. Salih said: The amputation (of a thief’s hand) is for a quarter of a dinar and upwards.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، وَوَهْبُ بْنُ بَيَانٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا ح، وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ السَّرْحِ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، وَعَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، رضى الله عنها عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" تُقْطَعُ يَدُ السَّارِقِ فِي رُبْعِ دِينَارٍ فَصَاعِدًا " . قَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ الْقَطْعُ فِي رُبْعِ دِينَارٍ فَصَاعِدًا .

Ibn ‘Umar said:
When the Messenger of Allah (saws) was alive, we used to say: The most excellent member of the community of the Prophet (saws) after himself is Abu Bakr, then ‘Umar, then 'Uthman.

Jabir b.Abd Allah reported the Prophet (may peace be upon him) as saying:
Gather your children when darkness spreads, or in the evening (according to Musaddad), for the jinn are abroad and seize them.

Rafi‘ b. Khadij reported the Prophet as saying, “The hand is not to be cut off for taking fruit or the pith of the palm-tree.”
Malik, Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, Nasa'i, Darimi and Ibn Majah transmitted it.

Mishkat al-Masabih 3485
Ibn ‘Umar reported the Prophet as saying, “If a man seizes a man and another kills him, the one who killed him is to be killed and the one who seized him is to be imprisoned.”
Daraqutni transmitted it.
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِذَا أَمْسَكَ الرَّجُلُ الرَّجُلَ وَقَتَلَهُ الْآخَرُ يُقْتَلُ الَّذِي قتَل ويُحبسُ الَّذِي أمْسَكَ» . رَوَاهُ الدَّارَقُطْنِيّ

'Abdullah b. Malik ibn Bujainah reported:
When the Prophet (may peace be upon him) prostrated, lie spread out his arms so that the whiteness of his armpits was visible.

I used to observe prayer with the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) and his prayer was of moderate length and his sermon too was of moderate length.

Buraida (Allah be pleased with him) reported a similar hadith on the authority of his father that a woman came to the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) and he said:

It was narrated that Ma'qil bin Abu Ma'qil Al-Asadi, who was a Companion of the Prophet, said:
"The Messenger of Allah forbade us from facing either of the two Qiblah when defecating or urinating."

Ibn 'Abbas and Ibn 'Umar narrated that:
They heard the Prophet say on his pulpit: "People should desist from failing to attend the congregations, otherwise Allah will seal their hearts, and they will be among the negligent."

A man among Banu Fazarah got married for a pair of sandals, and the Prophet permitted his marriage.

It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud said:
"When captives were brought to him, the Prophet (SAW) would give the members of one family together (to one person), not wanting to separate them."

The Prophet (SAW) stoned two Jews, and I was among those who stoned them. I saw (the man) trying to shield (the woman) from the stones.”

narrated that Mikhnaf bin Sulaim said:
“We were standing with the
Prophet (saw) at ‘Arafat and he said: ‘O people, each family,
each year, must offer Udhiyah and ‘Atirah.’
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا أَبُو رَمْلَةَ، عَنْ مِخْنَفِ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ، قَالَ كُنَّا وُقُوفًا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ بِعَرَفَةَ فَقَالَ
" يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّ عَلَى كُلِّ أَهْلِ بَيْتٍ فِي كُلِّ عَامٍ أُضْحِيَّةً وَعَتِيرَةً " . أَتَدْرُونَ مَا الْعَتِيرَةُ هِيَ الَّتِي يُسَمِّيهَا النَّاسُ الرَّجَبِيَّةَ .

Sunan Ibn Majah 3332
It was
narrated from Sa’d, the freed slave of Abu Bakr – and Sa’d

to serve the Messenger of Allah (saw) and he liked this Hadith –
that the Prophet (saw) forbade eating two dates at once.

narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said:
“Healing is in three things: A
drink of honey, the glass of the cupper, and cauterizing with fire,
but I forbid my nation to use cauterization.” And he attributed it
to
the Prophet (saw).

It as
narrated from Abu Bakr bin Muhammad that Khalidah bint Anas,
the
mother of Banu Hazm As-Sa’idiyyah, came to the Prophet (saw) and
recited a Ruqyah to him, and he told her to use it.

neglecting it, a seal will be placed over his heart.”

“There is no prayer after the ‘Asr until the sun has set, and
there is no prayer after the Fajr until the sun has risen.”

Mu’adhah
Al-‘Adawiyyah said:
“I asked ‘Aishah: ‘Did the Prophet (saw)
pray Duha?’ She said: ‘Yes; four (Rak’ah) and he would add
whatever
Allah willed.’”

narrated that ‘Aishah said:
“A Jewish woman had died, and the
Prophet (SAW) heard the weeping for her. He said: ‘Her family is
weeping for her, and she is being punished in her grave.’”

" فَإِنَّ أَهْلَهَا يَبْكُونَ عَلَيْهَا وَإِنَّهَا تُعَذَّبُ فِي قَبْرِهَا " .

of punishment – maybe it refers to landslides).”

حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى الثَّعْلَبِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيِّ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَنْ كَذَبَ فِي الرُّؤْيَا مُتَعَمِّدًا كُلِّفَ عَقْدَ شَعِيرَةٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ.

It was narrated that ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) said:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: `I went out when the moon rose as if it was half of a dish.” Then he said: Tonight is Lailatul-Qadr.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، لُوَيْنٌ حَدَّثَنَا حُدَيْجٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجْتُ حِينَ بَزَغَ الْقَمَرُ كَأَنَّهُ فِلْقُ جَفْنَةٍ فَقَالَ اللَّيْلَةَ لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ.

It was narrated from Ibn al-Hanafiyyah that `Ali (رضي الله عنه) told al-Miqdad to ask the Prophet (ﷺ) about madhi and he said:
`Let him do wudoo`.`
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ مُنْذِرٍ أَبِي يَعْلَى، عَنْ ابْنِ الْحَنَفِيَّةِ، أَنَّ عَلِيًّا، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَمَرَ الْمِقْدَادَ فَسَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الْمَذْيِ فَقَالَ يَتَوَضَّأُ.

It was narrated that ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) said:
`Ammar came and asked permission to enter upon the Prophet (ﷺ) and he said: `Let him in; welcome to the good one, the purified one.”
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ هَانِئِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ جَاءَ عَمَّارٌ يَسْتَأْذِنُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ ائْذَنُوا لَهُ مَرْحَبًا بِالطَّيِّبِ الْمُطَيَّبِ.

It was narrated from `Ali (رضي الله عنه) that The Prophet (ﷺ) forbade, or forbade me [`Ali], red saddle cloths, garments made from a blend of linen and silk, and gold rings.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ هُبَيْرَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى أَوْ نَهَانِي عَنْ الْمِيثَرَةِ وَالْقَسِّيِّ وَخَاتَمِ الذَّهَبِ.
