When you hear the call (to prayer), repeat what the Mu'adhdhin pronounces.

He reported God’s messenger as saying,
“Sadaqa does not reduce property; God increases the honour of him who forgives another; and no one will humble himself for God’s sake without God exalting him.”

A sister of Hudhaifa reported God’s messenger as saying, “You women have in silver something with which to adorn yourselves. I assure you that any woman of you who adorns herself with gold which she displays will be punished for it.”

Umm Hani’ said:
The Prophet came in to visit me and asked whether I had anything. When I replied that I had nothing but some dry bread and vinegar he said, “Produce it; a house in which there is vinegar is not devoid of condiments.”
Tirmidhi transmitted it, saying this is a hasan gharib tradition.
وَعَن أم هَانِئ قَالَتْ: دَخَلَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: «أَعِنْدَكِ شَيْءٌ» قُلْتُ: لَا إِلَّا خُبْزٌ يَابِسٌ وَخَلٌّ فَقَالَ: «هَاتِي مَا أَقْفَرَ بَيْتٌ مِنْ أَدَمٍ فِيهِ خَلٌّ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَقَالَ: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ

Salma, the Prophet’s woman-servant, told that no one complained to God’s messenger of a headache without his telling him to get cupped, or of a pain in his legs without his telling him to dye them with henna.

A’ishah (RAA) narrated, ‘When the Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) died and they wanted to make Ghusl (full ritual washing of the body), they said, ‘By Allah we do not know whether we should take off the clothes of Allah’s Messenger as we do for our dead or not?’ Related by Ahmad and Abu Dawud.
وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: { لَمَّا أَرَادُوا غَسْلَ اَلنَّبِيِّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالُوا: وَاَللَّهُ مَا نَدْرِي, نُجَرِّدُ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -كَمَا نُجَرِّدُ مَوْتَانَا, أَمْ لَا?….. } اَلْحَدِيثَ، رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ, وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ 1 .

وَعَنْ مَعْقِلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ - رضى الله عنه - [قَالَ] سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -يَقُولُ: { مَا مِنْ عَبْدِ يَسْتَرْعِيهِ اَللَّهُ رَعِيَّةً, يَمُوتُ يَوْمَ يَمُوتُ, وَهُوَ غَاشٌّ لِرَعِيَّتِهِ, إِلَّا حَرَّمَ اَللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ اَلْجَنَّةَ } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ. 1 .

Mu’adh Ibn Jabal (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) said, “A man does nothing to rescue himself from Allah’s punishment better than remembering Allah.” Related by Ibn Abi Shaibah and At-Tabarani with a good chain of narrators.
وَعَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ مَا عَمِلَ ابْنُ آدَمَ عَمَلاً أَنْجَى لَهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ اَللَّهِ مِنْ ذِكْرِ اَللَّهِ } أَخْرَجَهُ ابْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ, وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ بِإِسْنَادٍ حَسَنٍ . 1 .

'Amro bin Shu’aib narrated on the authority of his father, on the authority of his grandfather (RAA), That the Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) said, “A slave who entered into an agreement to buy his freedom is still a slave as long as a Dirham of the agreed price remains to be paid.” Related by Abu Dawud with a good chain of narrators. The full hadith is related by Ahmad and the three Imams. Al-Hakim graded it to be Sahih.
وَعَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ, عَنْ أَبِيهِ, عَنْ جَدِّهِ, عَنْ اَلنَّبِيِّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ قَالَ:

Narrated Jabir (RA):
Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "When one of you proposes (marriage) to a woman, if he is able to look at what will induce him to marry her, he should do so."
[Reported by Ahmad and Abu Dawud. Its narrators are Thiqa (reliable) and al-Hakim declared it to be Sahih (authentic)].
وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ إِذَا خَطَبَ أَحَدُكُمُ الْمَرْأَةَ , فَإِنْ اِسْتَطَاعَ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ مِنْهَا مَا يَدْعُوهُ إِلَى نِكَاحِهَا , فَلْيَفْعَلْ } رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ , وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ , وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ , وَصَحَّحَهُ اَلْحَاكِمُ 1 .

Narrated Hakim bin Mu'awiyah al-Qushairi on his father's authority (RA):
I asked, "O Allah's Messenger, what is the right of the wife of one of us upon her husband?" He replied, "That you should give her food when you eat, and clothe her when you clothe yourself, and do not strike her on the face and do not revile her."

وَعَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ اَلْقُشَيْرِيِّ, عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: { قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ! مَا حَقُّ زَوْجَةِ أَحَدِنَا عَلَيْهِ? قَالَ:
"أَنْ تُطْعِمَهَا إِذَا طَعِمْتَ, وَتَكْسُوَهَا إِذَا اِكْتَسَيْتَ, وَلَا تَضْرِبِ اَلْوَجْهَ, وَلَا تُقَبِّحْ…]". } اَلْحَدِيثُ. وتَقَدَّمَ فِي عِشْرَةِ اَلنِّسَاءِ. 1 .

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Verily, from what was learnt by the people from the speech of the earliest prophecy is: If you feel no shame, then do as you wish.”

‘Abdallah b. Shaqiq said that when he asked ‘A'isha whether the Prophet used to fast a whole month she replied, "I never knew him to fast a whole month except Ramadan, nor to refrain from fasting some part of every month till he died."

Mishkat al-Masabih 2178
Ma'qil b. Yasār al-Muzanī reported the Prophet as saying, “If anyone recites Yā’ Sīn (Qur’ān, 36) out of a desire for God's favour, his past sins will be forgiven him; so recite it over those of you who are dying.”
Baihaqī transmitted it in Shu'ab al-īmān.

He reported God's messenger as saying, “When one of you makes supplication he must not say, ‘O God, forgive me if Thou wilt, show mercy to me if Thou wilt, provide for me if Thou wilt’, but must make his request definite, for He does what He wills and there is no one to impose compulsion on Him.”

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab that Said al-Musayyab and Abu Bakr ibn Abd ar-Rahman said about a man who made a vow to abstain from intercourse with his wife, "If four months pass it is a divorce. The husband can go back to his wife as long as she is in her idda."

Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "He who performs his Wudu' perfectly and comes to Jumu'ah prayer and listens (to the Khutbah) silently, the sins which he has committed since the previous Friday plus three more days (i.e., 10 days) will be forgiven for him. One who distracts himself with pebbles during the Khutbah will not get the (Jumu'ah) reward".

وَعَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ: أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ سَأَلَ أَبَا وَاقِدٍ اللَّيْثِيَّ: (مَا كَانَ يَقْرَأُ بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْأَضْحَى وَالْفِطْرِ؟ فَقَالَ: كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِيهِمَا: ب (ق وَالْقُرْآن الْمجِيد)

Mishkat al-Masabih 1367
‘Abdallah b. ‘Amr reported God's Messenger as saying, “Any Muslim who dies on Friday or on Thursday night will be protected by God from the testing in the grave."
Ahmad and Tirmidhi transmitted it, the latter saying this is a gharib tradition whose isnad is not fully connected.
وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَمُوتُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ أَوْ لَيْلَةَ الْجُمُعَةِ إِلَّا وَقَاهُ اللَّهُ فِتْنَةَ الْقَبْرِ» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالتِّرْمِذِيُّ وَقَالَ: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ وَلَيْسَ إِسْنَاده بِمُتَّصِل

Mishkat al-Masabih 3882
Ibn ‘Abbas said:
God’s Messenger was a servant under command who applied to us* only three things which he did not apply to the people in general. He ordered us to perform ablution fully, not to consume sadaqa, and not to make an ass cover a mare.
* He means the members of the Prophet’s family.
Tirmidhi and Nasa’i transmitted it.
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَبْدًا مَأْمُورًا مَا اخْتَصَّنَا دُونَ النَّاسِ بِشَيْءٍ إِلَّا بِثَلَاثٍ: أَمَرَنَا أَنْ نُسْبِغَ الْوُضُوءَ وَأَنْ لَا نَأْكُلَ الصَّدَقَةَ وَأَنْ لَا نَنْزِيَ حمارا على فرس. رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ وَالنَّسَائِيّ

Anas reported God's messenger as saying, "While I was travelling in paradise, I came to a river whose banks were domes of hollowed pearls, and when I asked Gabriel what this was, he replied that it was al-Kauthar* which my Lord had given me. Its soil was the most excellent musk."
*Quran, 108.

عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
" بَيْنَا أَنَا أَسِيرُ فِي الجنَّةِ إِذا أَنا بنهر حافتاه الدُّرِّ الْمُجَوَّفِ قُلْتُ: مَا هَذَا يَا جِبْرِيلُ؟ قَالَ: الْكَوْثَرُ الَّذِي أَعْطَاكَ رَبُّكَ فَإِذَا طِينُهُ مِسْكٌ أذفر ". رَوَاهُ البُخَارِيّ

Abu Huraira reported the Prophet as saying, "The hot water[1] will be poured over their heads and the hot water will penetrate till it comes inside a man. It will scour what is inside him till it comes out at his feet; and that is the melting[2]. He will then be restored as he was[3]."

وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِنَّ الْحَمِيمَ لَيُصَبُّ عَلَى رؤوسهم فَينفذ الْحَمِيم حَتَّى يخلص إِلَى جَوْفه فسلت مَا فِي جَوْفِهِ حَتَّى يَمْرُقَ مِنْ قَدَمَيْهِ وَهُوَ الصَّهْرُ ثُمَّ يُعَادُ كَمَا كَانَ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ

Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 195
Al-Miqdam heard the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him
peace, say, "What you feed yourself is sadaqa. What you feed your
child, your wife and your servant is sadaqa."
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا بَقِيَّةُ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي بَحِيرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ، سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ: مَا أَطْعَمْتَ نَفْسَكَ فَهُوَ صَدَقَةٌ، وَمَا أَطْعَمْتَ وَلَدَكَ وَزَوْجَتَكَ وَخَادِمَكَ فَهُوَ صَدَقَةٌ.
