Sahih Muslim 284a
Anas reported:
A Bedouin urinated in the mosque. Some of the persons stood up (to reprimand him or to check him from doing so), but the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: Leave him alone; don't interrupt him. He (the narrator) said: And when he had finished, he called for a bucket of water and poured it over.
وَحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ زَيْدٍ - عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا، بَالَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَقَامَ إِلَيْهِ بَعْضُ الْقَوْمِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" دَعُوهُ وَلاَ تُزْرِمُوهُ " . قَالَ فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ دَعَا بِدَلْوٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ فَصَبَّهُ عَلَيْهِ .

Narrated Abu Hurayrah:
The Prophet (saws) said: No recompense is to be demanded if one is kicked by an animal.
Abu Dawud said: An animal kicks someone with its leg while one is riding on it.

Mishkat al-Masabih 2540
‘A’isha said :
I used to perfume God’s messenger with a perfume containing musk preparatory to his entering the sacred state before he put on the ihram, and when he put off the ihram, before he made the circuits round the House. I still seem to see the glistening of the perfume where the hair was parted on God’s messenger’s head while he was wearing the ihram.

Mishkat al-Masabih 2758
Ibn ‘Abbas told that ‘Umar b. al-Khattab said he had heard God’s messenger say when he was in the wadi of al-‘Aqiq, "A visitant from my Lord came to me last night, telling me to pray in this blessed wadi and [consider its Reward equivalent to that for] an ’umra incorporated in a hajja.” A version has, "and [consider its reward equivalent to that for] an ’umra and a hajja”
Bukhari transmitted it.
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ بِوَادِي الْعَقِيقِ يَقُولُ: أَتَانِي اللَّيْلَةَ آتٍ مِنْ رَبِّي فَقَالَ: صَلِّ فِي هَذَا الْوَادِي الْمُبَارَكِ وَقُلْ: عُمْرَةٌ فِي حَجَّةٍ ". وَفِي رِوَايَة: «قل عُمرةٌ وحِجّةٌ» . رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ

Mishkat al-Masabih 607
Umm Farwa said that when asked what act was most excellent, the Prophet replied that it was prayer at the beginning of the proper period for it.
Ahmad, Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud transmitted it, and Tirmidhi said that the tradition is transmitted only from the traditions of ‘Abdallah b. ‘Umar al-‘Umari who is not considered by traditionists to be strong.
وَعَن أم فَرْوَة قَالَتْ: سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَيُّ الْأَعْمَالِ أَفْضَلُ؟ قَالَ: «الصَّلَاةُ لِأَوَّلِ وَقْتِهَا» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالتِّرْمِذِيُّ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ

Mishkat al-Masabih 1018
‘Abdallah ibn Buhaina said that the Prophet led them in the noon prayer, and when he stood up at the end of the first two rak'as and did not sit, the people stood up along with him. When he finished the prayer and the people expected him to give the salutation, he said “God is most great" while sitting and made two prostrations before giving the salutation. Then he gave it.

Ibn 'Umar reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant

he will meet Allah Almighty covered with His anger."

It is narrated by Abdullah bin Amr that Prophet (saws) said, "When a person falls ill then the reward of those deeds is also recorded for him which he used to perform when he was healthy.

’Amro bin Shu’aib narrated on the authority of his father, on the authority of his grandfather (RAA) that the Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) said, “Anyone who practices medicine but is not known as a practitioner, and kills a human being or inflicts harm on him, will be held responsible.” Related by Ad-Daraqutni. Al-Hakim graded it as Sahih. Abu Dawud, an-Nasa'i and others also narrated it, but its Mursal form is stronger than the connected one.
وَعَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ, عَنْ أَبِيهِ, عَنْ جَدِّهِ رَفَعَهُ قَالَ: { مَنْ تَطَبَّبَ -وَلَمْ يَكُنْ بِالطِّبِّ مَعْرُوفًا- فَأَصَابَ نَفْسًا فَمَا دُونَهَا, فَهُوَ ضَامِنٌ } أَخْرَجَهُ اَلدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اَلْحَاكِمُ, وَهُوَ عِنْدَ أَبِي دَاوُدَ, وَالنَّسَائِيِّ وَغَيْرِهِمَا; إِلَّا أَنَّ مَنْ أَرْسَلَهُ أَقْوَى مِمَّنْ وَصَلَهُ. 1

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas (RA):
Allah's Messenger (SAW) said: "Whoever speaks on Friday while the Imam is giving the Khutbah (religious talk), he is like a donkey which carries books; and he who tells him to be quiet has no Jumu'ah."

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ مَنْ تَكَلَّمَ يَوْمَ اَلْجُمُعَةِ وَالْإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ فَهُوَ كَمَثَلِ اَلْحِمَارِ يَحْمِلُ أَسْفَارًا, وَاَلَّذِي يَقُولُ لَهُ: أَنْصِتْ, لَيْسَتْ لَهُ جُمُعَةٌ } رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ, بِإِسْنَادٍ لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ . 1 وَهُوَ يُفَسِّرُ.

Mishkat al-Masabih 2078
Abu Huraira reported God’s messenger as saying, “When one of you is invited to a meal at a time when he is fasting he should say he is fasting.” In a version he said, “When one of you receives an invitation he should accept it. If he is fasting he should pray, but if not, he should eat.”
Muslim transmitted it.
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
" إِذَا دُعِيَ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى طَعَامٍ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ فَلْيَقُلْ: إِنِّي صَائِمٌ ". وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ قَالَ: «إِذَا دُعِيَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيُجِبْ فَإِنْ كَانَ صَائِمًا فَلْيُصَلِّ وَإِن كَانَ مُفطرا فيطعم» . رَوَاهُ مُسلم

She said:
One day God's Messenger visited me looking pleased and asked if I was not surprised to hear that Mujazziz al-Mudlijl1 had entered, and seeing Usama and Zaid2 with a rug over them covering their heads and letting their feet appear, said, “These feet are related.”

1. Members of the tribe of Mudlij were said to have a reputation for being able to trace relationship from physical features.
2. Usama was Zaid's son.
وَعَنْهَا قَالَتْ: دَخَلَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ وَهُوَ مَسْرُورٌ فَقَالَ:
" أَيْ عَائِشَةُ أَلَمْ تَرَيْ أَنَّ مُجَزِّزًا الْمُدْلِجِيَّ دَخَلَ فَلَمَّا رَأَى أُسَامَةَ وَزَيْدًا وَعَلَيْهِمَا قطيفةٌ قد غطيَّا رؤوسَهُما وَبَدَتْ أَقْدَامُهُمَا فَقَالَ: إِنَّ هَذِهِ الْأَقْدَامَ بَعْضُهَا من بعضٍ "

Do not make your houses as graveyards. Satan runs away from the house in which Surah Baqara is recited.

" لاَ تَجْعَلُوا بُيُوتَكُمْ مَقَابِرَ إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَنْفِرُ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ الَّذِي تُقْرَأُ فِيهِ سُورَةُ الْبَقَرَةِ " .

Sufyan reported:
I said to 'Abd al-Rahman b. Qasim: Have you heard from your father narrating from 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) that he kissed her while observing fast? He ('Abd al-Rahman b. Qasim) kept silence for a short while and then said:" Yes."

It was narrated that 'Aishah said:
"The Prophet used to bring his head close to me when I was menstruaring and he was in I'tikaf (seclusion in a mosques for the purpose of worship), and I would wash it and comb his hair."

“Al-Aswad and Masruq entered upon
‘Aishah and said: ‘Did the Messenger of Allah (saw) touch (his
wife)
when he was fasting?’ She said: ‘He used to do that, and he
was the
strongest of all of you in controlling his desire.’”

drink."

Basrah, he performed prayer on his rug, then he told his companions
that the Messenger of Allah (saw) used to perform prayer on his rug.”

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Safiyya bint Abi Ubayd told him that Hafsa, umm al-muminin, sent Asim ibn Abdullah ibn Sad to her sister Fatima bint Umar ibn al-Khattab for her to suckle him ten times so that he could come in to see her. She did it, so he used to come in to see her.
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتَ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ، أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّ حَفْصَةَ أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَرْسَلَتْ بِعَاصِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ إِلَى أُخْتِهَا فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ تُرْضِعُهُ عَشْرَ رَضَعَاتٍ لِيَدْخُلَ عَلَيْهَا وَهُوَ صَغِيرٌ يَرْضَعُ فَفَعَلَتْ فَكَانَ يَدْخُلُ عَلَيْهَا .

Yahya related to me from Malik from Yunus ibn Yusuf from Said ibn al-Musayyab that Umar ibn al-Khattab passed by Hatab ibn Abi Baltaa who was underselling some of his raisins in the market. Umar ibn al- Khattab said to him, "Either increase the price or leave our market."

Narrated Nafi`:
Whenever Ibn `Umar was asked about marrying a Christian lady or a Jewess, he would say: "Allah has made it unlawful for the believers to marry ladies who ascribe partners in worship to Allah, and I do not know of a greater thing, as regards to ascribing partners in worship, etc. to Allah, than that a lady should say that Jesus is her Lord although he is just one of Allah's slaves."

Narrated `Abdullah:
that Ka`b had a slave girl who used to graze his sheep on a small mountain, called "Sl'a", situated near the market. Once a sheep was dying, so she broke a stone and slaughtered it with it. When they mentioned that to the Prophet, he, permitted them to eat it.

Yahya related to me from Malik that he saw Rabia ibn Abd ar- Rahman vomit several times when he was in the mosque and he did not leave, nor did he do wudu before he prayed.
Yahya said that Malik was asked whether a man who vomited food had to do wudu and he said, "He does not have to do wudu, but he should rinse the inside of his mouth and wash his mouth out."
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَبِيعَةَ بْنَ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ يَقْلِسُ مِرَارًا وَهُوَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَلاَ يَنْصَرِفُ وَلاَ يَتَوَضَّأُ حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ . قَالَ يَحْيَى وَسُئِلَ مَالِكٌ عَنْ رَجُلٍ قَلَسَ طَعَامًا هَلْ عَلَيْهِ وُضُوءٌ فَقَالَ لَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ وُضُوءٌ وَلْيَتَمَضْمَضْ مِنْ ذَلِكَ وَلْيَغْسِلْ فَاهُ .

Yahya related to me from Malik that he asked Ibn Shihab and Nafi, the mawla of Ibn Umar, whether a man who joined an imam who had already done a raka should say the tashahhud with the imam in the second and fourth rakas, even though these were odd for him? They said, "He should say tashahhud with him."
Malik said, "That is the position with us."

Yahya related to me from Malik from Umar ibn Muhammad ibn Zayd from Salim ibn Abdullah that Abdullah ibn Umar used to say, "If you are uncertain in the prayer, estimate what you think you have forgotten of the prayer and repeat it, then do the two sajdas of forgetfulness from the sitting position."

Allah's Apostle performed Tawaf (of the Ka`ba) riding a camel (at that time the Prophet had a foot injury). Whenever he came to the Corner (having the Black Stone) he would point out towards it with a thing in his hand and say, "Allahu-Akbar."

Jabir ibn Samura said:
‘I sat with the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) more than one hundred times, and his Companions used to recite poetry to one another. They would also reminisce over things relating to the pagan era [al-jahiliyya], while he was silent and sometimes even smiled with them.’”

The woman who has a prolonged flow of blood should wash herself every day when her menstrual period is over and take a woollen cloth greased with fat or oil (to tie over the private parts).

Ibn, Ziyad paid a visit to Ma'qil b. Yasir who was seriously ill. Here follows the same tradition as has gone before with the addition that Ibn Ziyad asked: Why didn't you narrate this tradition to me before this day? Ma'qil reprimanded him and said: I did not narrate it to you or I was not going to narrate it to you.

It has been narrated on the authority of Yahya b. Husain who learnt the tradition from his grandmother. She said that she heard the Holy Prophet (may peace be upon him) delivering his sermon on the occasion of the Last Pilgrimage. He was saying:
If a slave is appointed over you and he conducts your affairs according to the Book of Allah, you should listen to him and obeey (his orders).

Abu Dawud said: I heard Ahmad say: "Ibn Abi 'Arubah narrated it in Mursal form". Meaning from Qatadah.

‘Ubaidallah b. ‘Adi b. al-Khiyar told how he visited ‘Uthman when he was besieged and said, “You are a leader who has been accepted generally, yet what you see has happened to you, and a rebel leader conducts our prayer and we abstain.” He replied, “Prayer is the best thing people do; so when people do good, do good along with them, but when they do evil turn aside from their evil-doing.”
Bukhari transmitted it.

Abu Huraira reported God’s Messenger as saying:
Angels take turns among you by night and by day, and they all assemble at the dawn and the afternoon prayers. Those who spent the night among you then ascend, and their Lord asks them, yet He is best informed about them, “How did you leave My servants?” They reply, “We left them while they were praying, and we came to them while they were praying.”

Abu Dharr states that he heard the Prophet, may Allah bless him
and grant him peace, say, "A person who knowingly claims a father other
than his own has disbelieved. A person who claims to be from a people when
he is not one of them will take his place in the Fire. A person who calls
a man an unbeliever or says, 'Enemy of Allah,' when that is not the case
will have that come back on him."

Abu Khulda reported that he heard Anas ibn Malik when he was with
al-Hakam, the amir of Basra, on a seat. He said, "When the Prophet, may
Allah bless him and grant him peace, was hot, he delayed the prayer until
a cooler time of the day. When it was cold, he made the prayer early."

Salman said that a polytheist jestingly remarked, “I see that your friend teaches you even about your excrement,” to which he replied,
“Yes, he has commanded us not to face the qibla, or cleanse ourselves with our right hands, or be satisfied with less than three stones among which there is no dung or bone.”
Muslim and Ahmad transmitted it, the wording being Ahmad’s.

Tirmidhi transmitted it, saying it has been transmitted from her without tracing it to the Prophet, and that is sounder.
