Sunan Abi Dawud 2281
Amr ibn Muhajir reported on the authority of his father:
Asma', daughter of Yazid ibn as-Sakan al-Ansariyyah, was divorced in the time of the Messenger of Allah (saws). No waiting period was prescribed for a divorced woman (at that time). When Asma' was divorced, Allah, the Exalted, sent down the injunction of waiting period for divorce. She is the first of the divorced women about whom the verse relating to waiting period was sent down.
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ الْبَهْرَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ مُهَاجِرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ السَّكَنِ الأَنْصَارِيَّةِ، أَنَّهَا طُلِّقَتْ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لِلْمُطَلَّقَةِ عِدَّةٌ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ حِينَ طُلِّقَتْ أَسْمَاءُ بِالْعِدَّةِ لِلطَّلاَقِ فَكَانَتْ أَوَّلَ مَنْ أُنْزِلَتْ فِيهَا الْعِدَّةُ لِلْمُطَلَّقَاتِ .

The Prophet (saws) said: One should not take a false oath at this pulpit of mine even on a green tooth-stick; otherwise he will make his abode in Hell, or Hell will be certain for him.
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نِسْطَاسٍ، مِنْ آلِ كَثِيرِ بْنِ الصَّلْتِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ يَحْلِفُ أَحَدٌ عِنْدَ مِنْبَرِي هَذَا عَلَى يَمِينٍ آثِمَةٍ وَلَوْ عَلَى سِوَاكٍ أَخْضَرَ إِلاَّ تَبَوَّأَ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ " . أَوْ " وَجَبَتْ لَهُ النَّارُ " .

Narrated Uqbah ibn Amir:
Uqbah consulted the Prophet (saws) about his sister who took a vow to perform hajj barefooted and bareheaded. So he said: Command her to cover her head and to ride, and to fast three days.
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الأَنْصَارِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ زَحْرٍ، أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مَالِكٍ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ أَخْبَرَهُ : أَنَّهُ، سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْ أُخْتٍ لَهُ نَذَرَتْ أَنْ تَحُجَّ حَافِيَةً غَيْرَ مُخْتَمِرَةٍ فَقَالَ :
" مُرُوهَا فَلْتَخْتَمِرْ وَلْتَرْكَبْ، وَلْتَصُمْ ثَلاَثَةَ أَيَّامٍ " .

Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-'As:
The Prophet (saws) forbade wine (khamr), game of chance (maysir), drum (kubah), and wine made from millet (ghubayrah), saying: Every intoxicant is forbidden.
Abu Dawud said: Ibn Sallam Abu 'Ubaid said: Ghubairah was an intoxicant liquor made from millet. This wine was made by the Abyssinians

Narrated AbuHurayrah:
I knew that the Messenger of Allah (saws) used to keep fast. I waited for the day when he did not fast to present him the drink (nabidh) which I made in a pumpkin. I then brought it to him while it fermented. He said: Throw it to this wall, for this is a drink of the one who does not believe in Allah and the Last Day.

" اضْرِبْ بِهَذَا الْحَائِطَ فَإِنَّ هَذَا شَرَابُ مَنْ لاَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ " .

The Messenger of Allah (saws) came out from the valley of a mountain where he had eased himself. There were some dried dates on a shield before us. We called him and he ate with us. He did not touch water.

Narrated Safwan ibn Umayyah:
I was eating with the Prophet (saws) and snatching the meat from the bone with my hand. He said: bring the bone near your mouth, for it is more beneficial and wholesome.
Abu Dawud said: 'Uthman did not hear (traditions) from Safwan. This is a mursal tradition.

" أَدْنِ الْعَظْمَ مِنْ فِيكَ فَإِنَّهُ أَهْنَأُ وَأَمْرَأُ " . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ عُثْمَانُ لَمْ يَسْمَعْ مِنْ صَفْوَانَ وَهُوَ مُرْسَلٌ .

Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-'As:
The Messenger of Allah (saws) sued to teach them the following words in the case of alarm: I seek refuge in Allah's perfect words from His anger, the evil of His servants, the evil suggestions of the devils and their presence. Abdullah ibn Amr used to teach them to those of his children who had reached puberty, and he wrote them down (on some material) and hung on the child who had not reached puberty.

" أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ غَضَبِهِ وَشَرِّ عِبَادِهِ وَمِنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِينِ وَأَنْ يَحْضُرُونِ " . وَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو يُعَلِّمُهُنَّ مَنْ عَقَلَ مِنْ بَنِيهِ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَعْقِلْ كَتَبَهُ فَأَعْلَقَهُ عَلَيْهِ .

Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas:
A man of Banu Adi was killed. The Prophet (saws) fixed his blood-wit at the rate of twelve thousand (dirhams).
Abu Dawud said: Ibn 'Uyainah transmitted it from 'Amr, from 'Ikrimah, from the Prophet (saws), and he did not mention Ibn 'Abbas.

Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin:
The Messenger of Allah (saws) said: It is not right for a Muslim to keep apart from another Muslim for more than three days. Then when he meets him and gives three salutations, receiving during that time no response, the other bears his sin.

" لاَ يَكُونُ لِمُسْلِمٍ أَنْ يَهْجُرَ مُسْلِمًا فَوْقَ ثَلاَثَةٍ فَإِذَا لَقِيَهُ سَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِ ثَلاَثَ مِرَارٍ كُلُّ ذَلِكَ لاَ يَرُدُّ عَلَيْهِ فَقَدْ بَاءَ بِإِثْمِهِ " .

Abu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah (saws) as saying – will be according to the version of Musa :
Perhaps Allah, and Ibn Sinan’s version has : Allah looked at the participants of the battle of Badr (with mercy) and said : Do whatever you wish ; I have forgiven you.

him and grant him peace, said, "Anyone who has three daughters and provides
for them, clothes them and shows mercy to them will definitely enter the
Garden." A man from the people said, "And two daughters, Messenger of Allah?"
He said, "And two."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، أَنَّ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ حَدَّثَهُمْ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم: مَنْ كَانَ لَهُ ثَلاَثُ بَنَاتٍ، يُؤْوِيهِنَّ، وَيَكْفِيهِنَّ، وَيَرْحَمُهُنَّ، فَقَدْ وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ الْبَتَّةَ، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَعْضِ الْقَوْمِ: وَثِنْتَيْنِ، يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ: وَثِنْتَيْنِ.

حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ الْعُرَنِيُّ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الطَّائِيُّ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: مَرَّ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلَى قَوْمٍ فِيهِمْ رَجُلٌ مُتَخَلِّقٌ بِخَلُوقٍ، فَنَظَرَ إِلَيْهِمْ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِمْ، وَأَعْرَضَ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ، فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ: أَعْرَضْتَ عَنِّي؟ قَالَ: بَيْنَ عَيْنَيْهِ جَمْرَةٌ.

Kathir ibn Murra related, "I entered the mosque on Friday and
found 'Awf ibn Malik al-Ashja'i sitting in a circle of men. He stretched
out his feet in front of him. When he saw me, he pulled his feet back in.
Then he said to me, 'Do you know why I put my foot out? So that a righteous
man might come and sit down.'"
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الزَّاهِرِيَّةِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي كَثِيرُ بْنُ مُرَّةَ قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ الْمَسْجِدَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ، فَوَجَدْتُ عَوْفَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ الأَشْجَعِيَّ جَالِسًا فِي حَلْقَةٍ مَادًّا رِجْلَيْهِ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ، فَلَمَّا رَآنِي قَبَضَ رِجْلَيْهِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ لِي: تَدْرِي لأَيِّ شَيْءٍ مَدَدْتُ رِجْلَيَّ؟ لَيَجِيءَ رَجُلٌ صَالِحٌ فَيَجْلِسَ.

Jabir ibn 'Abdullah reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless
him and grant him peace, said "Do not go out often after the night is still.
Allah has animals which he sends out. Anyone who hears the barking of a
dog or the braying of a donkey should seek refuge with Allah from the Accursed
Shaytan. They see what you do not see."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي خَالِدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِلاَلٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ: أَقِلُّوا الْخُرُوجَ بَعْدَ هُدُوءٍ، فَإِنَّ لِلَّهِ دَوَابَّ يَبُثُّهُنَّ، فَمَنْ سَمِعَ نُبَاحَ الْكَلْبِ، أَوْ نُهَاقَ حِمَارٍ، فَلْيَسْتَعِذْ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ، فَإِنَّهُمْ يَرَوْنَ مَا لا تَرَوْنَ.

Ibn Mas’ud (RAA) narrated that The Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) said, “The Diyah for accidental killing is paid in five types of camel indemnity:
20 she-camels ‘hiqqah’ (in their fourth year), 20 she-camels ‘Jaz'ah’ (in their fifth year), 20 she-camels ‘bint makhad’ (in their second year), 20 she-camels ‘bint labun’ (in their third year) and 20 he-camels 'ibn labun' (in their third year).”Related by Ad-Daraqutni with a strong chain of narrators. The four Imams reported it with this version, “twenty ‘ibn makhad’ (twenty male camels which had entered their second year),” instead of “ibn labun.”
وَعَنْ اِبْنِ مَسْعُودٍ - رضى الله عنه - عَنْ اَلنَّبِيِّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالَ: { دِيَةُ اَلْخَطَأَ أَخْمَاسًا: عِشْرُونَ حِقَّةً, وَعِشْرُونَ جَذَعَةً, وَعِشْرُونَ بَنَاتِ مَخَاضٍ, وَعِشْرُونَ بَنَاتِ لَبُونٍ, وَعِشْرُونَ بَنِي لَبُونٍ } أَخْرَجَهُ اَلدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ.
وَأَخْرَجَهُ اَلْأَرْبَعَةُ, بِلَفْظٍ: { وَعِشْرُونَ بِنِي مَخَاضٍ } , بَدَلَ: { بُنِيَ لَبُونٍ } . وَإِسْنَادُ اَلْأَوَّلِ أَقْوَى.
وَأَخْرَجَهُ اِبْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ مِنْ وَجْهٍ آخَرَ مَوْقُوفًا, وَهُوَ أَصَحُّ مِنْ اَلْمَرْفُوعِ 1 .

Musnad Ahmad 1428
It was narrated from’`Amir bin ‘Abdullah bin az-Zubair (رضي الله عنه) that his father said:
I said to my father, az-Zubair bin al-Awwam (رضي الله عنه): “Why don`t you narrate from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ).” He said: “I never left him since I became Muslim, but I heard him say something. He said: Whoever tells a lie about me, let him take his place in Hell.`
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ جَامِعِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ قُلْتُ لِأَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ مَا لَكَ لَا تُحَدِّثُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَا فَارَقْتُهُ مُنْذُ أَسْلَمْتُ وَلَكِنِّي سَمِعْتُ مِنْهُ كَلِمَةً سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنْ النَّارِ.

Sahih Muslim 421 c
Sahl b. Sa'd al-Sa'idi reported:
The Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) went to Bani Amr b. 'Auf in order to bring about reconciliation amongst them. The rest of the hadith is the same but with (the addition of these words):" The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) came and made his way through the rows till he came to the first row and Abu Bakr retraced his steps."

Maimuna, the wife of the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him), reported:
When the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) prostrated himself, he spread his arms, i. e. he separated them so much that the whiteness of his armpits became visible from behind and when he sat (for Jalsa) he rested on his left thigh.

Maimuna daughter of Harith reported:
When the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) prostrated, he kept his hands so much apart from each other that when it was seen from behind the armpits became visible. Waki' said: That is their whiteness.

Warrad, the freed slave of Mughira b. Shu'ba, reported:
Mughira b. Shu'ba wrote to Mu'awiya (it was Warrad who wrote this letter for him, i. e. Mughira): I heard the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) saying:" When the salutation is pronounced." and the rest of the hadith is the same except this that he made no mention of:" He is Potent over everything."

" وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ " . فَإِنَّهُ لَمْ يَذْكُرْ .

Abu Murra, the freed slave of Umm Hani, narrated on the authority of Abu Darda':
My Friend (may peace be upon him) instructed me in three (acts), and I would never abandon them as long as I live. (And these three things are): Three fasts during every month, the forenoon prayer, and this that I should not sleep till I have observed the Witr prayer.
وَحَدَّثَنِي هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ، عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حُنَيْنٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مُرَّةَ، مَوْلَى أُمِّ هَانِئٍ عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ، قَالَ أَوْصَانِي حَبِيبِي صلى الله عليه وسلم بِثَلاَثٍ لَنْ أَدَعَهُنَّ مَا عِشْتُ بِصِيَامِ ثَلاَثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ وَصَلاَةِ الضُّحَى وَبِأَنْ لاَ أَنَامَ حَتَّى أُوتِرَ .

Abu Darda' reported Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) as saying:
Is any one of you incapable of reciting a third of the Qur'an in a night? They (the Companions) asked: How could one recite a third of the Qur'an (in a night)? Upon this he (the Holy Prophet) said: "'Say: He is Allah, One' (Qur'an. cxii) is equivalent to a third of the Qur'an."
وَحَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ مَعْدَانَ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " أَيَعْجِزُ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَقْرَأَ فِي لَيْلَةٍ ثُلُثَ الْقُرْآنِ " قَالُوا : وَكَيْفَ يَقْرَأْ ثُلُثَ الْقُرْآنِ ؟ قَالَ : " قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ تَعْدِلُ ثُلُثَ الْقُرْآنِ " .

Sahih Muslim 960 a
It is narrated on the authority of Jabir ibn 'Abdullah:
There passed a bier and the Holy Prophet (may peace be upon him) stood up for it and we also stood up along with him. We said: Messenger of Allah, that was the bier of a Jewess. Upon this he remarked: Verily, death is a matter of consternation, so whenever you come across a bier stand up.
وَحَدَّثَنِي سُرَيْجُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ - عَنْ هِشَامٍ الدَّسْتَوَائِيِّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مِقْسَمٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ، بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ مَرَّتْ جَنَازَةٌ فَقَامَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَقُمْنَا مَعَهُ فَقُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّهَا يَهُودِيَّةٌ . فَقَالَ
" إِنَّ الْمَوْتَ فَزَعٌ فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمُ الْجَنَازَةَ فَقُومُوا " .

Abu Sa'id al-Khudri reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying:
No Sadaqa is payable on the grains and dates till it (comes to the Weight) of five wasqs, or less than five heads of camels, or less than five uqiyas (of silver).
وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَهْدِيٍّ - حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُمَارَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" لَيْسَ فِي حَبٍّ وَلاَ تَمْرٍ صَدَقَةٌ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ خَمْسَةَ أَوْسُقٍ وَلاَ فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسِ ذَوْدٍ صَدَقَةٌ وَلاَ فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسِ أَوَاقٍ صَدَقَةٌ" .

This hadith has been narrated by Zaid b. Aslam with the same chain of transmitters except that he said:
" None among the owners of camels who does not pay their due," but did not say" their due (Zakat) out of them." and he make a mention:" He did not miss a single young one out of them." and he said:" Their sides. their foreheads and their backs would be cauterised."
وَحَدَّثَنِي يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى الصَّدَفِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي هِشَامُ، بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، فِي هَذَا الإِسْنَادِ بِمَعْنَى حَدِيثِ حَفْصِ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ إِلَى آخِرِهِ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ " مَا مِنْ صَاحِبِ إِبِلٍ لاَ يُؤَدِّي حَقَّهَا " . وَلَمْ يَقُلْ " مِنْهَا حَقَّهَا " . وَذَكَرَ فِيهِ " لاَ يَفْقِدُ مِنْهَا فَصِيلاً وَاحِدًا " . وَقَالَ " يُكْوَى بِهَا جَنْبَاهُ وَجَبْهَتُهُ وَظَهْرُهُ " .

Jabir b Samura reported that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) commanded us to observe fast on the day of Ashura and exhorted us to do it and was particular about it But when (fasting) in Ramadan was made obligatory, he hence. forth neither commanded us nor forbade us, nor was he so particular about it.

It was narrated that Abu Umamah said:
"The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: 'No people go astray after having followed right guidance, but those who indulge in disputes.' Then he recited the Verse: "Nay! But they are a quarrelsome people.'"

" سَأَبْعَثُ مَعَكُمْ رَجُلاً أَمِينًا حَقَّ أَمِينٍ " . قَالَ فَتَشَوَّفَ لَهَا النَّاسُ فَبَعَثَ أَبَا عُبَيْدَةَ بْنَ الْجَرَّاحِ .

It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin Salamah said:
"I entered upon 'Ali bin Abu Talib and he said: 'The Messenger of Allah used to go to the lavatory and relieve himself, then come out, and he would eat bread and meat with us and recite Qur'an, nothing stopped him' or perhaps he said: 'prevented him from doing so except sexual impurity.'"

The Prophet said: "Whoever leaves an area the size of a hair on his body and does not cleanse it from sexual impurity, such and such will be done to him in the Fire." 'Ali said: "Because of that I am hostile towards my hair," and he used to shave his head.

" مَنْ تَرَكَ مَوْضِعَ شَعَرَةٍ مِنْ جَسَدِهِ مِنْ جَنَابَةٍ لَمْ يَغْسِلْهَا فُعِلَ بِهِ كَذَا وَكَذَا مِنَ النَّارِ " . قَالَ عَلِيٌّ فَمِنْ ثَمَّ عَادَيْتُ شَعَرِي . وَكَانَ يَجُزُّهُ .

" حَبَسُونَا عَنْ صَلاَةِ الْوُسْطَى مَلأَ اللَّهُ قُبُورَهُمْ وَبُيُوتَهُمْ نَارًا " .

" مَنْ أَدْرَكَهُ الأَذَانُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ لَمْ يَخْرُجْ لِحَاجَةٍ وَهُوَ لاَ يُرِيدُ الرَّجْعَةَ فَهُوَ مُنَافِقٌ " .

"The best house among the Muslims is a house in which there is an orphan who is treated well. And the worst house among the Muslims is a house in which there is an orphan who is treated badly."

" خَيْرُ بَيْتٍ فِي الْمُسْلِمِينَ بَيْتٌ فِيهِ يَتِيمٌ يُحْسَنُ إِلَيْهِ وَشَرُّ بَيْتٍ فِي الْمُسْلِمِينَ بَيْتٌ فِيهِ يَتِيمٌ يُسَاءُ إِلَيْهِ " .

that the Prophet passed by some part of Al-Madinah and saw some girls beating their Daff And singing, saying: “We are girls from Banu Najjar what an excellent neighbor is Muhammad.” The Prophet said: “Allah knows that you are dear to me.”

" يَعْلَمُ اللَّهُ إِنِّي لأُحِبُّكُنَّ " .

It was narrated from Ibn Umar that:
when Uthman bin Mazun died, he left behind a daughter. Ibn Umar said: “My maternal uncle Qudamah, who was her paternal uncle, married me to her, but he did not consult her. That was after her father had died. She did not like this marriage, and the girl wanted to marry Mughirah bin Shubah, so she married him.”

Sunan Ibn Majah 2128
lt was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that the Prophet (SAW) said:
"Whoever makes a vow and does not state it specifically, the expiation (for such a vow) is the expiation for breaking an oath. Whoever makes a vow and is not able to fulfill it, the expiation for that is the expiation for breaking an oath. Whoever makes a vow and is able to fulfill it, let him do so."

" مَنْ نَذَرَ نَذْرًا وَلَمْ يُسَمِّهِ فَكَفَّارَتُهُ كَفَّارَةُ يَمِينٍ وَمَنْ نَذَرَ نَذْرًا لَمْ يُطِقْهُ فَكَفَّارَتُهُ كَفَّارَةُ يَمِينٍ وَمَنْ نَذَرَ نَذْرًا أَطَاقَهُ فَلْيَفِ بِهِ " .

Sunan Ibn Majah 2343
It was narrated from Nimran bin Jariyah, from his father, that :
some people referred a dispute to the Prophet (SAW) about a hut, so that he could judge between them. He sent Hudhaifah to judge between them, and he ruled in favor of those who had the rope (with which the hut was blinded together). When he went back to the Prophet (SAW) he told him (what he had done) and he said: “You did the right thing, and you did well.”
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، وَعَمَّارُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ دَهْثَمِ بْنِ قُرَّانٍ، عَنْ نِمْرَانَ بْنِ جَارِيَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ قَوْمًا، اخْتَصَمُوا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي خُصٍّ كَانَ بَيْنَهُمْ فَبَعَثَ حُذَيْفَةَ يَقْضِي بَيْنَهُمْ فَقَضَى لِلَّذِينَ يَلِيهِمُ الْقِمْطُ فَلَمَّا رَجَعَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَخْبَرَهُ فَقَالَ
" أَصَبْتَ وَأَحْسَنْتَ " .

Sunan Ibn Majah 2392
It was narrated from 'Umar, meaning, from his father, his grandfather 'Umar, that :
he gave a horse in charity at the time of the Messenger of Allah (SAW), then he saw its owner selling it for a low price. He went to the Prophet (SAW) and asked him about that, and he said: “Do not buy what you gave in charity.”
حَدَّثَنَا تَمِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْتَصِرِ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، عَنْ شَرِيكٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ يَعْنِي، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ تَصَدَّقَ بِفَرَسٍ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَبْصَرَ صَاحِبَهَا يَبِيعُهَا بِكَسْرٍ فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَسَأَلَهُ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ
" لاَ تَبْتَعْ صَدَقَتَكَ " .

Sunan Ibn Majah 2483
It was narrated from 'Ubadah bin Samit that :
the Messenger of Allah (SAW) ruled concerning the irrigation of palm trees from streams, that the higher ground should be irrigated before the lower, and that the water should be allowed to reach the ankles, then released to flow the nearest lower ground, and so on, until all the fields were watered or until the water ran out.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغَلِّسِ، حَدَّثَنَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَضَى فِي شُرْبِ النَّخْلِ مِنَ السَّيْلِ أَنَّ الأَعْلَى فَالأَعْلَى يَشْرَبُ قَبْلَ الأَسْفَلِ وَيُتْرَكُ الْمَاءُ إِلَى الْكَعْبَيْنِ ثُمَّ يُرْسَلُ الْمَاءُ إِلَى الأَسْفَلِ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ وَكَذَلِكَ حَتَّى تَنْقَضِيَ الْحَوَائِطُ أَوْ يَفْنَى الْمَاءُ .

Sunan Ibn Majah 2688
It was narrated that Rifa'ah bin Shaddad Al-Qitbani said:
“Were it not for a word that I heard from 'Amr bin Hamiq Khuza'i, I would have separated the head of Al-Mukhtar from his body. I heard him saying: “The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: 'If a man trusts someone with his life then he kills him, he will carry a banner of treachery on the day of Resurrection.'”

" مَنْ أَمِنَ رَجُلاً عَلَى دَمِهِ فَقَتَلَهُ فَإِنَّهُ يَحْمِلُ لِوَاءَ غَدْرٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .

It was narrated that Aishah said:
“The Messenger of Allah (SAW) did not leave behind a Dinar nor a Dirham, nor a sheep, nor a camel, and he did not make a will concerning anything.”

It was narrated from Ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said:
“(Allah says) O son of Adam! I have given you two things which you do not deserve (except by mercy of Allah (SWT)): I allow you to dispose of a share of your wealth when you are on your deathbed, in order to cleanse and purify you, and my slaves pray for you after your life is over.”

" يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ اثْنَتَانِ لَمْ تَكُنْ لَكَ وَاحِدَةٌ مِنْهُمَا جَعَلْتُ لَكَ نَصِيبًا مِنْ مَالِكَ حِينَ أَخَذْتُ بِكَظَمِكَ لأُطَهِّرَكَ بِهِ وَأُزَكِّيَكَ وَصَلاَةُ عِبَادِي عَلَيْكَ بَعْدَ انْقِضَاءِ أَجَلِكَ " .

It was
narrated from Qasim Abu ‘Abdur-Rahman that he heard Mu’awiyah
bin
Abu Sufyan on the pulpit saying:
“The Messenger of Allah (saw)
used
to say from the pulpit, before the month of Ramadan: ‘Fasting
will
begin on such and such a day, but we are going to start fasting
earlier, so whoever wants to start fasting earlier (i.e., in
Sha’ban),
let him do so, and whoever wants to wait until Ramadan
begins, let him
do so.’”

" الصِّيَامُ يَوْمَ كَذَا وَكَذَا وَنَحْنُ مُتَقَدِّمُونَ فَمَنْ شَاءَ فَلْيَتَقَدَّمْ وَمَنْ شَاءَ فَلْيَتَأَخَّرْ " .

Sunan Ibn Majah 2733
It was
narrated from ‘Aishah that the freed slave of the Prophet
(saw)
fell from a palm tree and died. He left behind wealth but he had
no
child or close relative. The Prophet (saw) said:
“Give his legacy
to a man from his village.”

narrated from Sahl bin Mu’adh bin Anas Al-Juhani, from his

that the Prophet (saw) said:
“Whoever eats food and said: Al-
hamdu
lillahil-ladhi at’amani hadha wa razaqanihi min ghayri hawlin
minni
wa la quwwatin (Praise is to Allah Who has fed me this and
provided
it for me without any strength or power on my part), - his
previous
sins will be forgiven.”

" مَنْ أَكَلَ طَعَامًا فَقَالَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنِي هَذَا وَرَزَقَنِيهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَوْلٍ مِنِّي وَلاَ قُوَّةٍ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ " .

It was
narrated from Umm Ayman that she sifted some flour and made a
loaf of
bread for the Prophet (saw). He said:
“What is this?” She
said:
“It is food that we make in our land, and I wanted to make a
loaf
of it for you. He said: “Fold it onto itself and knead it.”
حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ كَاسِبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، أَخْبَرَنِي بَكْرُ بْنُ سَوَادَةَ، أَنَّ حَنَشَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أُمِّ أَيْمَنَ، أَنَّهَا غَرْبَلَتْ دَقِيقًا فَصَنَعَتْهُ لِلنَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ رَغِيفًا فَقَالَ " مَا هَذَا " . قَالَتْ طَعَامٌ نَصْنَعُهُ بِأَرْضِنَا فَأَحْبَبْتُ أَنْ أَصْنَعَ مِنْهُ لَكَ رَغِيفًا . فَقَالَ " رُدِّيهِ فِيهِ ثُمَّ اعْجِنِيهِ " .

It was
narrated that ‘Atiyyah bin ‘Amir Al-Juhani said:
“I heard
Salman, when he was forced to eat food, say: ‘It is sufficient for
me
that I heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) say: The people who most
eat
their fill in this world will be the most hungry on the Day of
Resurrection.’”

" إِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ شِبَعًا فِي الدُّنْيَا أَطْوَلُهُمْ جُوعًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .

Abu
Hurairah narrated that he heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) say:

black seed there is healing for every disease, except the Sam.” "Sam means death. And black seed is Shuwniz."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْمِصْرِيَّانِ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، أَخْبَرَهُمَا أَنَّهُ، سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَقُولُ
" إِنَّ فِي الْحَبَّةِ السَّوْدَاءِ شِفَاءً مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ إِلاَّ السَّامَ " . وَالسَّامُ الْمَوْتُ . وَالْحَبَّةُ السَّوْدَاءُ الشُّونِيزُ .

“Whoever enters a horse (in a race) between two other horses,
not
knowing whether it will win, that is not gambling. But whoever
enters
a horse (in race) between two other horses, certain that it
will win,
that is gambling.”

" مَنْ أَدْخَلَ فَرَسًا بَيْنَ فَرَسَيْنِ وَهُوَ لاَ يَأْمَنُ أَنْ يَسْبِقَ فَلَيْسَ بِقِمَارٍ وَمَنْ أَدْخَلَ فَرَسًا بَيْنَ فَرَسَيْنِ وَهُوَ يَأْمَنُ أَنْ يَسْبِقَ فَهُوَ قِمَارٌ " .

“Wine is cursed from ten angles: The wine itself, the one who
squeezes (the grapes etc), the one for whom it is squeezed, the one
who sells it, the one who buys it, the one who carries it, the one to
whom it is carried, the one who consumes its price, the one who
drinks
it and the one who pours it.”

" لُعِنَتِ الْخَمْرُ عَلَى عَشَرَةِ أَوْجُهٍ بِعَيْنِهَا وَعَاصِرِهَا وَمُعْتَصِرِهَا وَبَائِعِهَا وَمُبْتَاعِهَا وَحَامِلِهَا وَالْمَحْمُولَةِ إِلَيْهِ وَآكِلِ ثَمَنِهَا وَشَارِبِهَا وَسَاقِيهَا " .

narrated that Wa’il bin Hujr said:
“The Prophet (saw) saw me

I had long hair. He said: ‘Bad news, bad news!’ So I went away
and cut it short. Then the Prophet (saw) saw me and said: ‘I did
not
mean you, but this is better.’”

“Hajjaj bin ‘Amr Ansari narrated to

he said: ‘I heard the Prophet (saw) say: “Whoever breaks a bone
or
becomes lame, has exited Ihram, but he must perform another Hajj.”

It was
narrated from ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allah
(saw) said:
“When anyone of you is performing prayer, he should not
let anyone pass in front of him. If he insists then let him fight
him,
for he has a Qarin (devil-companion) with him.”

" إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ يُصَلِّي فَلاَ يَدَعْ أَحَدًا يَمُرُّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ فَإِنْ أَبَى فَلْيُقَاتِلْهُ فَإِنَّ مَعَهُ الْقَرِينَ " .
وَقَالَ الْمُنْكَدِرِيُّ فَإِنَّ مَعَهُ الْعُزَّى .
وَقَالَ الْمُنْكَدِرِيُّ فَإِنَّ مَعَهُ الْعُزَّى .

narrated from ‘Abdullah bin Abu Qatadah that his father said:

Messenger of Allah (saw) said: ‘I get up to perform prayer and I
intend to make it long, but then I hear an infant crying, so I make
it
short, because I do not like to cause distress to his mother.’”

evil between them, they will be made equivalent to twelve
years’
worship.’”

It was
narrated that ‘Abdullah bin Harith said:
“During the caliphate
of
‘Uthman, when the people were present in large numbers, I asked
about Duha prayer, and I could not find anyone who could tell me that
he, meaning the Prophet (saw), had prayed it, apart from Umm Hani’.
She told me that he had prayed it with eight Rak’ah.”

them between your two feet; do not place them to your right, or

right of your companions, or behind you, for they may annoy
whoever is
behind you.’”

Isma’il
bin Abu Khalid said:
“I said to ‘Abdullah bin Abi Awfa: ‘Did
you see Ibrahim, the son of the Messenger of Allah (SAW)?’ He said:
‘He died when he was small, and if it had been decreed that there
should be any Prophet after Muhammad (SAW), his son would have lived.
But there is no Prophet after him.’”

It was narrated from Abu Musa that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said:
‘Allah gives respite to the wrongdoer, then when He seizes him, He
does not let him go.” Then he recited: “Such is the Seizure of
your
Lord when He seizes the (population of) towns while they are
doing
wrong.”[11:102]

“Shall I not tell you about the kings of Paradise?’ I

‘Yes.’ He said: ‘A weak and oppressed man who wears tattered
clothes and is not paid any heed. If he swears (an oath) by Allah,
Allah fulfills it.’”

“Whoever restrains his anger when

is able to implement it, Allah will call him before all of creation
on the Day of Resurrection, and will give him his choice of any houri
that he wants.”

" مَنْ كَظَمَ غَيْظًا وَهُوَ قَادِرٌ عَلَى أَنْ يُنْفِذَهُ دَعَاهُ اللَّهُ عَلَى رُءُوسِ الْخَلاَئِقِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ حَتَّى يُخَيِّرَهُ فِي أَىِّ الْحُورِ شَاءَ " .

" مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ بَاتَ عَلَى طُهُورٍ ثُمَّ تَعَارَّ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَسَأَلَ اللَّهَ شَيْئًا مِنْ أَمْرِ الدُّنْيَا أَوْ مِنْ أَمْرِ الآخِرَةِ إِلاَّ أَعْطَاهُ " .

Musnad Ahmad 506
It was narrated from Mahmood bin Labeed That `Uthman (رضي الله عنه) wanted to build (an extension to) the mosque of Madinah, but the people objected to that and wanted to leave it as it was. `Uthman (رضي الله عنه) said:
I heard the Messenger of Allah( ﷺ) say: `Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.`
حَدَّثَنَا الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ لَبِيدٍ، أَنَّ عُثْمَانَ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَبْنِيَ مَسْجِدَ الْمَدِينَةِ فَكَرِهَ النَّاسُ ذَاكَ وَأَحَبُّوا أَنْ يَدَعُوهُ عَلَى هَيْئَتِهِ فَقَالَ عُثْمَانُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ بَنَى مَسْجِدًا لِلَّهِ بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ مِثْلَهُ.

It was narrated that Abu Umamah bin Sahl bin Hunaif said. We were with Uthman when he was besieged in the house. He said:
Why would they kill me? I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: `It is not permissible (to shed) the blood of a Muslim except in three cases: If a man disbelieves after becoming Muslim, or commits zina after being married or kills someone and is executed in retaliation.`

It was narrated from Humran, the freed slave of ‘Uthman, that `Uthman bin `Affan said:
I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: `Whoever does wudoo’ and does it properly, then goes to offer an obligatory prayer and offers it, his sins will be forgiven.”

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah and from `Ubaidullah bin Abi Rafi`, from his father, from `Ali (رضي الله عنه), that they (Abu Hurairah and ‘Ali) said:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: `Were it not that it would be too difficult for the ummah, I would have commanded them to use the siwak at the time of every prayer.”

It was narrated from `Amr bin Sulaim Az-Zuraqi, from his mother, that she said:
Whilst we were in Mina, I saw `Ali bin Abi Talib (رضي الله عنه) on a camel, saying: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) says: `These are days of eating and drinking, so no one should fast.` And he followed the people [to convey this message]

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Whoever learns the Qur`an and learns it by heart, Allah will admit him to Paradise and will grant him intercession for ten of his family, all of whom were due for Hell.“

It was narrated that ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) said:
When al-Hasan was born, I named him Hamzah. When al-Husain was born, I named him after his paternal uncle Ja`far. Then the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) called me and said: `I have been commanded to change the names of these two.` I said: Allah and His Messenger know best. And he named them Hasan and Husain. (رضي الله عنهما)

“O `Ali, you have a treasure in Paradise and you are with two harns of this ummah. Do not follow one glance with another; you may be allowed the first but not the second.”

It was narrated from Mu`adh bin `Abdur-Rahman bin ‘Uthman at-Taimi that his father said:
We were with Talhah bin `Ubaidullah and we were in ihram. A bird was given to him as a gift when Talhah was sleeping. Some of us ate and some of us refrained. When Talhah woke up, he approved of those who had eaten and said: “We ate it with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)”.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ وَنَحْنُ حُرُمٌ فَأُهْدِيَ لَهُ طَيْرٌ وَطَلْحَةُ رَاقِدٌ فَمِنَّا مَنْ أَكَلَ وَمِنَّا مَنْ تَوَرَّعَ فَلَمَّا اسْتَيْقَظَ طَلْحَةُ وَفَّقَ مَنْ أَكَلَهُ وَقَالَ أَكَلْنَاهُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.

Malik related to me from Yahya ibn Said that Said ibn al-Musayyab said, "I have heard that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said to a man from the Aslam tribe called Hazzal, 'Hazzal, had you veiled him with your cloak, it would have been better for you.' "
Yahya ibn Said said, "I related this hadith in an assembly among whom was Yazid ibn Nuaym ibn Hazzal al-Aslami. Yazid said, 'Hazzal was my grandfather. This hadith is true.' "
حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ بَلَغَنِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ لِرَجُلٍ مِنْ أَسْلَمَ يُقَالُ لَهُ هَزَّالٌ
" يَا هَزَّالُ لَوْ سَتَرْتَهُ بِرِدَائِكَ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَكَ " . قَالَ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ فَحَدَّثْتُ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ فِي مَجْلِسٍ فِيهِ يَزِيدُ بْنُ نُعَيْمِ بْنِ هَزَّالٍ الأَسْلَمِيِّ فَقَالَ يَزِيدُ هَزَّالٌ جَدِّي وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ حَقٌّ .

Al-Bara bin Azib narrated:
"The Salat of Allah's Messenger (was such that) when he bowed, and when he raised his head from bowing, and when he prostrated, and when he raised his head from prostration it (all) was nearly the same."

`Abdullah bin `Umar said, "Allah's Apostle said, 'Accept the marriage invitation if you are invited to it.' " Ibn `Umar used to accept the invitation whether to a wedding banquet or to any other party, even when he was fasting.

" أَجِيبُوا هَذِهِ الدَّعْوَةَ إِذَا دُعِيتُمْ لَهَا ". قَالَ كَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يَأْتِي الدَّعْوَةَ فِي الْعُرْسِ وَغَيْرِ الْعُرْسِ وَهْوَ صَائِمٌ.

Allah's Apostle ordered us to do seven things and forbade us to do seven other things. He forbade us to wear gold rings, silk, Dibaj, Istabriq, Qissy, and Maithara; and ordered us to accompany funeral processions, visit the sick and greet everybody. (See Hadith No. 104)

"I used to bring to the Messenger of Allah (SAW) water for wudu and serve him. He said: 'Ask of me.' I said: 'I want to be with you in Paradise.' He said: 'Is there anything else?' I said: 'That is all.' He said: 'Help me to fulfill your wish by prostrating a great deal.'"
أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، عَنْ هِقْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ الدِّمَشْقِيِّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الأَوْزَاعِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي رَبِيعَةُ بْنُ كَعْبٍ الأَسْلَمِيُّ، قَالَ كُنْتُ آتِي رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِوَضُوئِهِ وَبِحَاجَتِهِ فَقَالَ " سَلْنِي " . قُلْتُ مُرَافَقَتَكَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ . قَالَ " أَوَغَيْرَ ذَلِكَ " . قُلْتُ هُوَ ذَاكَ قَالَ " فَأَعِنِّي عَلَى نَفْسِكَ بِكَثْرَةِ السُّجُودِ " .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 1154
It was narrated that Wa'il bin Hujr said:
'I saw the Messenger of Allah (SAW) when he prostrated, place his knees on the ground before his hands, and when he got up, he lifted his hands before his knees."
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْرٍ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا سَجَدَ وَضَعَ رُكْبَتَيْهِ قَبْلَ يَدَيْهِ وَإِذَا نَهَضَ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ قَبْلَ رُكْبَتَيْهِ . قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ لَمْ يَقُلْ هَذَا عَنْ شَرِيكٍ غَيْرُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ هَارُونَ وَاللَّهُ تَعَالَى أَعْلَمُ .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 1161
'Amr bin 'Abdullah bin Az-Zubair narrated that:
His father said: "When the Messenger of Allah (SAW) sat in the second or fourth rak'ah, he would place his hands on his knees and point with his finger."
أَخْبَرَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى السِّجْزِيُّ، - يُعْرَفُ بِخَيَّاطِ السُّنَّةِ نَزَلَ بِدِمَشْقَ أَحَدُ الثِّقَاتِ - قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عِيسَى قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَخْرَمَةُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَامِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا جَلَسَ فِي الثِّنْتَيْنِ أَوْ فِي الأَرْبَعِ يَضَعُ يَدَيْهِ عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ ثُمَّ أَشَارَ بِأُصْبُعِهِ .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 1219
It was narrated that Zaid bin Arqam said:
"We used to speak to each other during the prayer, saying whatever was necessary, at the time of the Messenger of Allah (SAW), until this verse was revealed: Guard strictly (five obligatory) As-Salawat (the prayers) especially the middle Salah (i.e. the best prayer- 'Asr). And stand before Allah with obedience (and do not speak to others during the Salah (prayers)), so we were commanded to be silent."
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الْحَارِثُ بْنُ شُبَيْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرٍو الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ، قَالَ كَانَ الرَّجُلُ يُكَلِّمُ صَاحِبَهُ فِي الصَّلاَةِ بِالْحَاجَةِ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم حَتَّى نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الآيَةُ { حَافِظُوا عَلَى الصَّلَوَاتِ وَالصَّلاَةِ الْوُسْطَى وَقُومُوا لِلَّهِ قَانِتِينَ } فَأُمِرْنَا بِالسُّكُوتِ .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 1282
It was narrated that Abdullah said:
"The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: 'Allah (SWT) has angels who travel around on Earth conveying to me the Salams of my Ummah.'"
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ الْوَرَّاقُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ زَاذَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" إِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَلاَئِكَةً سَيَّاحِينَ فِي الأَرْضِ يُبَلِّغُونِي مِنْ أُمَّتِي السَّلاَمَ " .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 1383
It was narrated from 'Abdur-Rahman bin Abi Sa'eed, from his father, that:
The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "Ghusl should be performed on Friday by everyone who has reached the age of puberty, and using the siwak, and he should put on whatever he is able of using perfume."
أَخْبَرَنِي هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سَوَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، أَنَّ عَمْرَو بْنَ سُلَيْمٍ، أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" إِنَّ الْغُسْلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ عَلَى كُلِّ مُحْتَلِمٍ وَالسِّوَاكَ وَأَنْ يَمَسَّ مِنَ الطِّيبِ مَا يَقْدِرُ عَلَيْهِ " .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 1424
It was narrated that An-Nu'man bin Bashir said:
"The Messenger of Allah (SAW) used to recite 'Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High'(Al-A'la 87) and 'Has there come to you the narration of the overwhelming (i.e. the Day of Resurrection)?' (Al-Ghashiyah 88) in the Jumu'ah prayer, and sometimes 'Eid and Jumu'ah would fall on the same day, and he would recite them in both 'Eid and Jumu'ah prayer."
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، أَنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْتَشِرِ، أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقْرَأُ فِي الْجُمُعَةِ بِـ { سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى } وَ{ هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ } وَرُبَّمَا اجْتَمَعَ الْعِيدُ وَالْجُمُعَةُ فَيَقْرَأُ بِهِمَا فِيهِمَا جَمِيعًا .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 1506
It was narrated from Hisham bin Ishaq bin Abdullah bin Kinanah that :
His father said: "So and so sent me to ask him how the Messenger of Allah (SAW) prayed for rain (Istisqa')." He said: 'The Messenger of Allah (SAW) went out beseeching and humble, (dressed) in a state of humility. He did not give a Khutbah like this Khutbah of yours, and he prayed two rak'ahs.'"
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ كِنَانَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ أَرْسَلَنِي فُلاَنٌ إِلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَسْأَلُهُ عَنْ صَلاَةِ، رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي الاِسْتِسْقَاءِ فَقَالَ خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مُتَضَرِّعًا مُتَوَاضِعًا مُتَبَذِّلاً فَلَمْ يَخْطُبْ نَحْوَ خُطْبَتِكُمْ هَذِهِ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 1524
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:
"The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, said: I have never sent down My favor to My slaves but a group of them became disbelievers who say; "The stars and by stars.'"
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ سَوَّادِ بْنِ الأَسْوَدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مَا أَنْعَمْتُ عَلَى عِبَادِي مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ إِلاَّ أَصْبَحَ فَرِيقٌ مِنْهُمْ بِهَا كَافِرِينَ يَقُولُونَ الْكَوْكَبُ وَبِالْكَوْكَبِ " .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 1758
It was narrated from Ibrahim bin Muhammad that:
He heard his father narrating that he heard Aishah say: "The Messenger of Allah (SAW) would not omit four rak'ahs before Zuhr and two rak'ahs before Fajr.
أَخْبَرَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَاهُ، يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لاَ يَدَعُ أَرْبَعًا قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الصُّبْحِ . قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ هَذَا الصَّوَابُ عِنْدَنَا وَحَدِيثُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عُمَرَ خَطَأٌ وَاللَّهُ تَعَالَى أَعْلَمُ .
