Mishkat al-Masabih 3829
Ibn ‘Abbas reported God's Messenger as saying, “There are two eyes which will never be touched by hell, an eye which weeps from fear of God and an eye which spends the night on guard in God’s path."
Tirmidhi transmitted it.
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:

Abu Huraira reported the Prophet as saying, "The one who will be most fortunate by reason of my intercession on the day of resurrection will be the one who says there is no god but God sincerely from his heart," or, "his soul."
Bukhari transmitted it.

Anas reported that a Jewish woman brought the Prophet, may Allah
bless him and grant him peace, poisoned sheep. He ate from it and she was
brought. It was asked, "Should we not kill her?" "No," he replied.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ يَهُودِيَّةً أَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِشَاةٍ مَسْمُومَةٍ، فَأَكَلَ مِنْهَا، فَجِيءَ بِهَا، فَقِيلَ: أَلاَ نَقْتُلُهَا؟ قَالَ: لاَ، قَالَ: فَمَا زِلْتُ أَعْرِفُهَا فِي لَهَوَاتِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم.

Abu Nujayd said, "A poet came to 'Imran ibn Husayn and 'Imran gave

my reputation (from his satire).'"

It is stated by sayidina Abu Hurayrah (ra) that the Messenger of Allah (saws) said "Wind is the mercy of Allah. It brings mercy or punishment. Do not denounce it but ask Allah, the exalted, for the good of it and seek the protection of Allah from its evil.”

" خَيْرُ صُفُوفِ الرِّجَالِ أَوَّلُهَا وَشَرُّهَا آخِرُهَا وَخَيْرُ صُفُوفِ النِّسَاءِ آخِرُهَا وَشَرُّهَا أَوَّلُهَا " .

Sahih Muslim 546 a
Mu'aiqib quoted the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) mentioning the removal of pebbles from the ground where he prostrated himself. He (the Prophet) said:
It you must do so, do it only once.

" إِنْ كُنْتَ لاَ بُدَّ فَاعِلاً فَوَاحِدَةً " .

Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah (may peace he upon him) said:
When it is very hot, say (the noon prayer) when the extreme heat passes away, for intensity of heat is from the exhalation of Hell.

Umm 'Atiyya reported that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said to them (the women) in regard to the washing of his daughter to start from the right side and with those parts of the body over which Wudu' is performed.

It was narrated from Hudhaifah that:
The Messenger of Allah said to the people of Najran: "I will send you a trustworthy man with you, who is indeed trustworthy." The people craned their necks to see, and he sent Abu 'Ubaidah bin Jarrah.

" سَأَبْعَثُ مَعَكُمْ رَجُلاً أَمِينًا حَقَّ أَمِينٍ " . قَالَ فَتَشَوَّفَ لَهَا النَّاسُ فَبَعَثَ أَبَا عُبَيْدَةَ بْنَ الْجَرَّاحِ .

" اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أُحِبُّهُ فَأَحِبَّهُ وَأَحِبَّ مَنْ يُحِبُّهُ " . قَالَ وَضَمَّهُ إِلَى صَدْرِهِ .

The Prophet said concerning the Verse: "Every day He is (engaged) in some affair." "His affairs include forgiving sins, relieving distress, raising some people and bringing others low."

It was narrated from Hakam bin Sufyan Ath-Thawri that:
He saw the Messenger of Allah perform ablution then take a handful of water and sprinkle it over his private area to remove any doubts about urine drippings.

It was narrated that a woman from (the tribe of) Banu 'Abdul-Ashhal said:
"I said to the prophet: 'Between the mosque and I there is a filthy path.' He said: 'After that is there a cleaner path?' I said: 'Yes.' He said: 'This is (a remedy) for that.'"

It was narrated from Anas that:
A man came to the Prophet; he had performed ablution and has missed a spot the size of a fingernail where water had not reached. The Prophet said to him: 'Go back and perform ablution properly.'"

"Allah's Messenger prohibited prayer from being performed in seven places: The garbage dump, the slaughtering area, the graveyard, the commonly used road, the bathroom, in the area that camels rest at, and above the Ka'bah."

The Messenger of Allah said: "There are seven places where it is not permissible to perform the prayer: The top of the House of Allah; graveyards; garbage dumps; slaughterhouses; bathrooms; the area that camels rest, and the main road."

" سَبْعُ مَوَاطِنَ لاَ تَجُوزُ فِيهَا الصَّلاَةُ ظَاهِرُ بَيْتِ اللَّهِ وَالْمَقْبَرَةُ وَالْمَزْبَلَةُ وَالْمَجْزَرَةُ وَالْحَمَّامُ وَعَطَنُ الإِبِلِ وَمَحَجَّةُ الطَّرِيقِ " .

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that :
the Messenger of Allah (saas) said: "When you supplicate to Allah, supplicate with your palms uppermost, not with the backs of your hands uppermost, and when you finish, wipe your face with them."

" إِذَا دَعَوْتَ اللَّهَ فَادْعُ بِبُطُونِ كَفَّيْكَ وَلاَ تَدْعُ بِظُهُورِهِمَا فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَامْسَحْ بِهِمَا وَجْهَكَ " .

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the :
Messenger of Allah (saas) said: "No one among you should say: "O Allah, forgive me if You will.' Let him be definite in his asking, and no one can compel Allah."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلاَنَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ
" لاَ يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمُ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي إِنْ شِئْتَ وَلْيَعْزِمْ فِي الْمَسْأَلَةِ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لاَ مُكْرِهَ لَهُ " .

"If a man were to fill his stomach completely with pus until it destroyed him, that would be better for him than filling (his mind) with poetry."

" لأَنْ يَمْتَلِئَ جَوْفُ أَحَدِكُمْ قَيْحًا حَتَّى يَرِيَهُ خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَمْتَلِئَ شِعْرًا " .

the Messenger of Allah said: “No woman should arrange the marriage of another woman, and no woman should arrange her own marriage. The adulteress is the one who arranges her own marriage.”

" لاَ تُزَوِّجُ الْمَرْأَةُ الْمَرْأَةَ وَلاَ تُزَوِّجُ الْمَرْأَةُ نَفْسَهَا فَإِنَّ الزَّانِيَةَ هِيَ الَّتِي تُزَوِّجُ نَفْسَهَا " .

It was narrated from Samurah that:
the Messenger of Allah(saw) forbade celibacy. Zaid bin Akhzam added: “And Qatadah recited: 'And indeed We sent Messengers before you (O Muhammad (saw)), and made for them wives and offspring.'”
حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ آدَمَ، وَزَيْدُ بْنُ أَخْزَمَ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ، . أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ نَهَى عَنِ التَّبَتُّلِ . زَادَ زَيْدُ بْنُ أَخْزَمَ وَقَرَأَ قَتَادَةُ {وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلاً مِنْ قَبْلِكَ وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُمْ أَزْوَاجًا وَذُرِّيَّةً} .

It was narrated from Aban bin 'Uthman bin 'Affan' that his father said:
"The Messenger of Allah said: 'The one in lhram should not get married, nor arrange a marriage for anyone else, nor Propose marriage''

" الْمُحْرِمُ لاَ يَنْكِحُ وَلاَ يُنْكِحُ وَلاَ يَخْطُبُ " .

It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said:
"We used to buy food from troops of riders (i.e., the caravans) without knowing the amount, but the Messenger of Allah (SAW) forbade us to sell it until it had been delivered to us."

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said:
“If the people were given what they claimed, some would have claimed the lives and property of men. But the one the claim is made against is obliged to swear an oath.”

“A mount may be ridden when it is pawned, and its milk may be drunk when it is pawned, but the one who rides it or milks it must pay for its upkeep.' ”

It was narrated from Jabir bin Abdullah that:
the Messenger of Allah (SAW) ruled that preemption takes effect in all cases where land has not been divided. But if the boundaries have been set and the roads laid out, then there is no preemption.”

“If a person's relative is killed, he has the choice of two things: He may either have the killer killed, or he may demand the blood money.”

fasting.”

his narration: "And the Messenger of Allah (saws) said:
'Fasting is half of patience.'"

The Messenger of Allah

delivered a sermon on the days of Tashriq (11th, 12th,

of Dhul-Hijjah) and said: “No one will enter
Paradise but a Muslim
soul, and these days are the days of eating and
drinking.”

" أُرِيدُ الصَّلاَةَ " .

to seek refuge from the evil eye of the jinn and of mankind. When

Mu’awwidhatain* were revealed, he started to recite them and
stopped reciting anything else.”

narrated that Lahi’ah bin ‘Uqbah said:
“I heard Abul-Ward, the

troop
which, when it meets (the enemy) it flees, and when it takes
spoils of
war, it steals from it.’”

‘Amr
bin Shu’aib narrated from his father that his grandfather said:
“There is no awarding of the spoils after the Messenger of Allah
(saw), rather whatever the army acquires (of spoils of war) will be
distributed among strong and weak alike.”

قَالَ رَجَاءٌ فَسَمِعْتُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنَ مُوسَى، يَقُولُ لَهُ حَدَّثَنِي مَكْحُولٌ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ مَسْلَمَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَفَّلَ فِي الْبَدْأَةِ الرُّبُعَ وَحِينَ قَفَلَ الثُّلُثَ . فَقَالَ عَمْرٌو أُحَدِّثُكَ عَنْ أَبِي عَنْ جَدِّي وَتُحَدِّثُنِي عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ

(earthenware) jars, and in such and such, and such and such, except
for vinegar.”

“Some Nabidh from an
(earthenware)
jar was brought to the Messenger of Allah (saw) and it
was bubbling.
He said: ‘Throw this against the wall, for this is the
drink of one
who does not believe in Allah and the Last Day.’”

narrated from Ibn Ya’la bin Umayyah that his father Ya’la
said:
“The Prophet (saw) performed Tawaf while doing Idtiba’.”* (In
his narration, one of the narrators) Qabisah said: “While wearing a
Yemenite cloth.”

It was
narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allah (saw) came

performed Tawaf around the House seven times, then he prayed two
Rak’ahs. Waki’ said:
“Meaning, at the Maqam,* then he went out
to
Safa.”

Verse after the Verses from Surat Luqman (31) and Adh-Dhariyat (51).”

narrated from ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr that the Prophet (saw) passed

him when he was praying sitting down. He said:
“The prayer of one
who sits down is equivalent to half of the prayer of one who stands.”

“Do not prepare a mount (travel)
to
visit any mosque except three: the Sacred Mosque, Aqsa Mosque, and
this mosque of mine.”

‘Hasten with the funeral (procession), for if the person was
righteous then you are advancing him towards good, and if he was
otherwise then it is evil which you are taking off of your necks.”

narrated from Mujammi’ bin Jariyah Al-Ansari that the
Messenger of
Allah (SAW) said:
“Your brother Najashi has died, so
stand and pray
for him.” So we formed two rows behind him.

" إِنَّ أَخَاكُمُ النَّجَاشِيَّ قَدْ مَاتَ فَقُومُوا فَصَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ " . فَصَففنَا خَلْفَهُ صَفَّيْنِ .

narrated from Hudhaifah bin Asid that the Prophet (SAW) led
them out
and said:
“Pray for a brother of yours who has died in a land
other
than yours.” They said: “Who is he?” He said: “Najashi.”
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، عَنِ الْمُثَنَّى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ أَسِيدٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ خَرَجَ بِهِمْ فَقَالَ " صَلُّوا عَلَى أَخٍ لَكُمْ مَاتَ بِغَيْرِ أَرْضِكُمْ " . قَالُوا: مَنْ هُوَ؟ قَالَ: " النَّجَاشِيُّ " .

narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (SAW) was
attending a
funeral. ‘Umar saw a woman and shouted at her, but the
Prophet
(SAW) said, “Leave her alone, O ‘Umar, for the eye weeps and
the
heart is afflicted, and the bereavement is recent.”

" دَعْهَا يَا عُمَرُ فَإِنَّ الْعَيْنَ دَامِعَةٌ وَالنَّفْسَ مُصَابَةٌ وَالْعَهْدَ قَرِيبٌ " .

narrated from Abu Umamah that the Prophet (SAW) said:
“Allah
says:
‘O son of Adam! If you are patient and seek reward at the moment

first shock, I will not approve of any reward for you less than
Paradise.’”

deprived of provision by a sin that he commits.’”

quickly punished evil deeds are injustice and severing the ties of
kinship.”

It was narrated from Rabee'ah bin Darraj, that 'Ali رضي الله عنه prayed two rakʼahs after ‘Asr, and ‘Umar got angry with him and said:
Don't you know that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to forbid this?

It was narrated from Abu Moosa that `Umar said:
It was the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), i.e., tamattu` (in Hajj), but I am afraid that they will have intimate relations with them (their wives) beneath the Arak trees, then they will bring them for Hajj.

Al-Hasan mentioned `Uthman`s extreme shyness and said:
If he was in a room with the door closed, and he took off his garment to pour water on himself, shyness prevented him from standing up straight.
