Abu Huraira reported God’s Messenger as saying, “He who has been appointed a qadi among the people has been killed without a knife.”*
Ahmad, Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah transmitted it.
*This phrase has troubled commentators. Perhaps the best explanation is that he will have reason to repent of his manner of life, for there are many traditions which express disapproval of undertaking such an office. A somewhat ingenious explanation is that his evil characteristics must be cut away, this being a kind of slaughter.

Narrated Ibn 'Umar (RA):
Allah's Messenger (SAW) had agreed with the people of Khaibar to give (to the Muslim authority) half what it produced of fruits or crops.

عَنْ اِبْنِ عُمَرَ -رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا-; { أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -عَامَلَ أَهْلَ خَيْبَرَ بِشَطْرِ مَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا مِنْ ثَمَرٍ, أَوْ زَرْعٍ } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ 1 .

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas (RA):
Allah's Messenger (SAW) had himself cupped and gave the one who cupped him his pay; and if it were prohibited he would not have given him (his pay).

وَعَنْ اِبْنِ عَبَّاسٍ -رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا-; أَنَّهُ قَالَ: { اِحْتَجَمَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -وَأَعْطَى اَلَّذِي حَجَمَهُ أَجْرَهُ } وَلَوْ كَانَ حَرَاماً لَمْ يُعْطِهِ. رَوَاهُ اَلْبُخَارِيُّ 1 .

Narrated 'Amr bin Shu'aib on his father's authority from his grandfather:
The Prophet (SAW) said, "There is no liability on him who is entrusted with something."
[Ibn Majah reported it, but its chain narrators is Da'if (weak)].

Narrated Rafi' bin Khadij (RA):
Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "Offer the morning prayer at dawn, for it is greater for your rewards."
[Reported by al-Khamsah. at-Tirmidhi and Ibn Hibban graded it Sahih (authentic)].
وَعَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ أَصْبِحُوا بِالصُّبْحِ فَإِنَّهُ أَعْظَمُ لِأُجُورِكُمْ } رَوَاهُ اَلْخَمْسَةُ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ, وَابْنُ حِبَّانَ 1 .

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas (RA):
Allah's Messenger (SAW) used to teach us a supplication to say in the Qunut of the morning prayer.
[al-Baihaqi reported it and there is a weakness in its chain of narrators].
وَلِلْبَيْهَقِيِّ عَنْ اِبْنِ عَبَّاسٍ -رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا- : { كَانَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -يُعَلِّمُنَا دُعَاءً نَدْعُو بِهِ فِي اَلْقُنُوتِ مِنْ صَلَاةِ اَلصُّبْحِ } وَفِي سَنَدِهِ ضَعْفٌ . 1

Narrated Talq bin 'Ali (RA):

وَعَنْ طَلْقٍ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: سَمِعْتَ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -يَقُولُ: { لَا وِتْرَانِ فِي لَيْلَةٍ } رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ, وَالثَّلَاثَةُ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اِبْنُ حِبَّانَ . 1 .

Mishkat al-Masabih 105
Ibn ‘Abbas reported that God’s messenger said, “There are two classes among my people who have no portion in Islam, the Murji’a and the Qadariya."
Tirmidhi transmitted it and said this is a gharib tradition.
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
" صِنْفَانِ مِنْ أُمَّتِي لَيْسَ لَهُمَا فِي الْإِسْلَامِ نَصِيبٌ: الْمُرْجِئَةُ وَالْقَدَرِيَّةُ ". رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَقَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ

Abu Dawud transmitted it and Tirmidhi transmitted something similar.
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «يَكُونُ فِي أُمَّتِي خَسْفٌ وَمَسْخٌ وَذَلِكَ فِي الْمُكَذِّبِينَ بِالْقَدَرِ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وروى التِّرْمِذِيّ نَحوه

Jabir reported the Prophet as saying, “When a dead man is covered up in his grave he will be shown the setting sun and will sit up, rub his eyes, and say, ‘Let me observe the prayer’."
Ibn Majah transmitted it.
وَعَنْ جَابِرٌ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:
" إِذَا أُدْخِلَ الْمَيِّتُ الْقَبْرَ مَثَلَتْ لَهُ الشَّمْسُ عِنْدَ غُرُوبِهَا فَيَجْلِسُ يَمْسَحُ عَيْنَيْهِ وَيَقُولُ: دَعونِي أُصَلِّي ". رَوَاهُ ابْن مَاجَه
