Mishkat al-Masabih 3733
Abu Huraira reported God’s Messenger as saying, “He who has been appointed a qadi among the people has been killed without a knife.”*
Ahmad, Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah transmitted it.
*This phrase has troubled commentators. Perhaps the best explanation is that he will have reason to repent of his manner of life, for there are many traditions which express disapproval of undertaking such an office. A somewhat ingenious explanation is that his evil characteristics must be cut away, this being a kind of slaughter.

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas (RA):
The swearing to stay away from one's wife in al-Jahiliyyah era was for one or two years. Then, Allah appointed a period of four months for it. So, if it is less than four months, it is not swearing to stay away from one's wife.

Mishkat al-Masabih 3029
Ibn ‘Umar reported God’s Messenger as saying, "Three things should not be rejected:
cushions, oil (duhn)* and milk.”
Tirmidhi transmitted it, saying this is a gharib tradition.
* It is said that by duhn he meant perfume. Duhn is used of oil or grease with which one anoints oneself. The point of the explanation of the meaning is evidently that a kind of scented oil is here intended.
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «ثَلَاثٌ لَا تُرَدُّ الْوَسَائِدُ وَالدُّهْنُ وَاللَّبَنُ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَقَالَ: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ قِيلَ: أَرَادَ بالدهن الطّيب

‘Abdallah b. ‘Amr reported God's Messenger as saying, “People of two different religions may not inherit from one another.”
Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah transmitted it, and Tirmidhi transmitted it from Jabir.
عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا يَتَوَارَثُ أَهْلُ مِلَّتَيْنِ شَتَّى» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَابْن مَاجَه

Mishkat al-Masabih 3087
Ibn ‘Umar reported God’s Messenger as saying, “Ill luck arises concerning a woman, a house and a horse." A version has, “Ill luck arises concerning three things:
a woman, a dwelling and a beast."

Mishkat al-Masabih 3153
Muhammad b. Hatib al-Jumahi reported the Prophet as saying, “The distinction between what is lawful and what is unlawful is the song and the tambourine at a wedding.”
Ahmad, Tirmidhi, Nasa’i and Ibn Majah transmitted it.
وَعَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَاطِبٍ الْجُمَحِيِّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:

Mishkat al-Masabih 3301
Sulaiman b. Yasar on the authority of Salama b. Sakhr, reported the Prophet as saying about one who vows to make his wife like his mother’s back and has intercourse with her before making atonement, “There is one atonement.”*
* Atonement for breaking the vow should be made before doing so, but if the vow is broken then the same atonement is enough.
Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah transmitted it.
وَعَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ صَخْرٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْمُظَاهِرِ يُوَاقِعُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُكَفِّرَ قَالَ: «كَفَّارَة وَاحِدَة» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ وَابْن مَاجَه

Ibn ‘Umar told that he heard God’s Messenger say, “If anyone beats a servant for an offence he did not commit, or slaps him, the atonement due from him is to set him free.”
Muslim transmitted it.
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مَنْ ضَرَبَ غُلَامًا لَهُ حَدًّا لَمْ يَأْتِهِ أَوْ لَطَمَهُ فَإِن كَفَّارَته أَن يعتقهُ» . رَوَاهُ مُسلم

وَعَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَقِيمُوا حُدُودَ اللَّهِ فِي الْقَرِيبِ وَالْبَعِيدِ وَلَا تَأْخُذْكُمْ فِي اللَّهِ لوْمةُ لائمٍ» . رَوَاهُ ابنُ مَاجَه

Ibn ‘Abbas reported God’s Messenger as saying, “If anyone sees in his commander what he dislikes he should show patience, for no one separates a span's distance from the community and dies without dying like those of pre-Islamic times.”

Ibn ‘Abbas told that the Prophet said to a man whom he had asked to take an oath, “Swear by God than Whom there is no god that you have nothing belonging to him,” i.e. the plaintiff.

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِرَجُلٍ حَلَّفَهُ: «احْلِفْ بِاللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ مَاله عِنْدَكَ شَيْءٌ» يُعْنَى لِلْمُدَّعِي. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِذَا أَمْسَكَ الرَّجُلُ الرَّجُلَ وَقَتَلَهُ الْآخَرُ يُقْتَلُ الَّذِي قتَل ويُحبسُ الَّذِي أمْسَكَ» . رَوَاهُ الدَّارَقُطْنِيّ

Mishkat al-Masabih 2250
He reported God’s messenger as saying, “Three supplications are answered, there being no doubt about them:
that of a parent, that of a traveller, and that of one who has been wronged.”

وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:

Mishkat al-Masabih 2357
‘A’isha said that the Prophet used to say, “O God, put me among those who, when they do good are glad, and when they do evil ask pardon.”
Ibn Majah and Baihaqi, in [Kitab] ad-Da'awat al-kabir, transmitted it.
وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ: «اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنَ الَّذِينَ إِذا أحْسَنوا استبشَروا وإِذا أساؤوا اسْتَغْفَرُوا» . رَوَاهُ ابْنُ مَاجَهْ وَالْبَيْهَقِيُّ فِي الدَّعَوَاتِ الْكَبِير

Anas b. Malik reported:
We used to offer the 'Asr prayer, then one would go to Quba' and reach there and the sun would be still high.
وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ كُنَّا نُصَلِّي الْعَصْرَ ثُمَّ يَذْهَبُ الذَّاهِبُ إِلَى قُبَاءٍ فَيَأْتِيهِمْ وَالشَّمْسُ مُرْتَفِعَةٌ .

وَحَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ اللَّيْثِ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ جَدِّي، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ . مِثْلَهُ . وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ قَوْلَ الزُّهْرِيِّ وَذُكِرَ لِي . وَمَا بَعْدَهُ .

This hadith has been narrated by Ayyub and 'Asim al-Ahwal with the same chain of transmitters, but in this hadith it is not recorded:
