Sahih Muslim 1952 b
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Abu Ya'fur with the same chain of transmitters. Abu Bakr (one of the narrators) said" seven expeditions," whereas Ishaq said" six," and Ibn Umar said" six" or" seven".
وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، جَمِيعًا
عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي يَعْفُورٍ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ . قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فِي رِوَايَتِهِ سَبْعَ غَزَوَاتٍ وَقَالَ
إِسْحَاقُ سِتَّ وَقَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ سِتَّ أَوْ سَبْعَ .

Sahih Muslim 1997 g
Ibn 'Umar reported that a person came to him and said:
Did Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) forbid the preparation of Nabidh in a green pitcher (besmeared with pitch and) in varnished jar? He said: Yes.

Ibn Umar narrated:
"I said to Bilal: 'How did the Prophet (S) reply to them when they gave him Salams and he was performing Salat?' He said: 'He would motion with his hand.'"
حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ قُلْتُ لِبِلاَلٍ كَيْفَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَرُدُّ عَلَيْهِمْ حِينَ كَانُوا يُسَلِّمُونَ عَلَيْهِ وَهُوَ فِي الصَّلاَةِ قَالَ كَانَ يُشِيرُ بِيَدِهِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ . وَحَدِيثُ صُهَيْبٍ حَسَنٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ اللَّيْثِ عَنْ بُكَيْرٍ . وَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِبِلاَلٍ كَيْفَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَصْنَعُ حَيْثُ كَانُوا يُسَلِّمُونَ عَلَيْهِ فِي مَسْجِدِ بَنِي عَمْرِو بْنِ عَوْفٍ قَالَ كَانَ يَرُدُّ إِشَارَةً . وَكِلاَ الْحَدِيثَيْنِ عِنْدِي صَحِيحٌ لأَنَّ قِصَّةَ حَدِيثِ صُهَيْبٍ غَيْرُ قِصَّةِ حَدِيثِ بِلاَلٍ . وَإِنْ كَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ رَوَى عَنْهُمَا فَاحْتَمَلَ أَنْ يَكُونَ سَمِعَ مِنْهُمَا جَمِيعًا .

Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2236
Ibn 'Umar narrated that the Messenger of Allah(s.a.w) said:
"You shall fight the Jews. You will gain such control over them, that a rock will say: 'O Muslim! This Jew is behind me so kill him!'"
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" تُقَاتِلُكُمُ الْيَهُودُ فَتُسَلَّطُونَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَتَّى يَقُولَ الْحَجَرُ يَا مُسْلِمُ هَذَا يَهُودِيٌّ وَرَائِي فَاقْتُلْهُ " . قَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .

I heard Ibn 'Umar as saying that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) forbade anyone taking two dates together without seeking the consent of his companions.

Abdullah b. Umar reported:
I heard Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: When Allah intends to chastise a people, He chastises all of them then they would be raised according to their deeds.
وَحَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى التُّجِيبِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ،
شِهَابٍ أَخْبَرَنِي حَمْزَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ
صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ
" إِذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِقَوْمٍ عَذَابًا أَصَابَ الْعَذَابُ مَنْ كَانَ فِيهِمْ ثُمَّ بُعِثُوا
عَلَى أَعْمَالِهِمْ " .

Sahih Muslim 2926
Jabir b 'Abdullah reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) met Ibn Sa'id (Sayyad) and there were with him Abu Bakr and 'Umar and Ibn Sayyad was in the company of children. The rest of the hadith is the same.

ابْنَ صَائِدٍ وَمَعَهُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَابْنُ صَائِدٍ مَعَ الْغِلْمَانِ . فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ .

" هَا إِنَّ الْفِتْنَةَ هَا هُنَا إِنَّ الْفِتْنَةَ هَا هُنَا مِنْ حَيْثُ يَطْلُعُ قَرْنُ الشَّيْطَانِ ".

" بَيْنَ يَدَىِ السَّاعَةِ تُقَاتِلُونَ قَوْمًا يَنْتَعِلُونَ الشَّعَرَ، وَتُقَاتِلُونَ قَوْمًا كَأَنَّ وُجُوهَهُمُ الْمَجَانُّ الْمُطْرَقَةُ ".

Narrated Marwan Al-Asghar:
A man from the companions of Allah's Apostle who I think, was Ibn `Umar said, "The Verse:-- "Whether you show what is in your minds or conceal it...." was abrogated by the Verse following it."
حَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ، أَخْبَرَنَا رَوْحٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، عَنْ مَرْوَانَ الأَصْفَرِ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ أَحْسِبُهُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ـ {إِنْ تُبْدُوا مَا فِي أَنْفُسِكُمْ أَوْ تُخْفُوهُ} قَالَ نَسَخَتْهَا الآيَةُ الَّتِي بَعْدَهَا.

Sunan Abi Dawud 4984
Ibn ‘Umar reported the prophet (May peace be upon him) as saying:
The desert Arabs may not dominate you in respect of the name of your prayer. Beware! It is al-`Isha, but they milk their camels when it is fairly dark.

" لاَ تَغْلِبَنَّكُمُ الأَعْرَابُ عَلَى اسْمِ صَلاَتِكُمْ أَلاَ وَإِنَّهَا الْعِشَاءُ وَلَكِنَّهُمْ يُعْتِمُونَ بِالإِبِلِ " .

Sunan Abi Dawud 3947
Ibn 'Umar reported the Prophet (saws) as saying:
If a man is shared by two men, and one of them emancipates his share, a price of the slave will be fixed, not more or less, and he will be emancipated by him in case he is rich.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" إِذَا كَانَ الْعَبْدُ بَيْنَ اثْنَيْنِ فَأَعْتَقَ أَحَدُهُمَا نَصِيبَهُ فَإِنْ كَانَ مُوسِرًا يُقَوَّمُ عَلَيْهِ قِيمَةً لاَ وَكْسَ وَلاَ شَطَطَ ثُمَّ يُعْتَقُ " .

Sunan Abi Dawud 3454
Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar:
The Messenger of Allah (saws) as saying: Each one of the two parties in a business has an option (to annul it) against the other party so long as they have not separated, except in a conditional bargain.

" الْمُتَبَايِعَانِ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا بِالْخِيَارِ عَلَى صَاحِبِهِ مَا لَمْ يَفْتَرِقَا إِلاَّ بَيْعَ الْخِيَارِ " .

"Or one of them tells the other: "Exercise the right."

Narrated Ibn 'Umar:
The Prophet (saws) handed over the Jews of Khaibar the palm trees and the land of Khaibar on condition that they should employ what belonged to them in working on them, and that he should have half of the fruits.
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ اللَّيْثِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ غَنَجٍ - عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم دَفَعَ إِلَى يَهُودِ خَيْبَرَ نَخْلَ خَيْبَرَ وَأَرْضَهَا عَلَى أَنْ يَعْتَمِلُوهَا مِنْ أَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنَّ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم شَطْرَ ثَمَرَتِهَا .

Sunan Abi Dawud 3394
Narrated Salim bin 'Abdullah b. 'Umar:
Ibn 'Umar used to let out his land till it reached him that Rafi' b. Khadij al-Ansari narrated that the Messenger of Allah (saws) forbade let out land. So 'Abd Allah (b. 'Umar) said: Ibn Khadij, what do you narrate from the Messenger of Allah (saws) about leasing the land? Rafi' replied to 'Abd Allah b. 'Umar: I heard both of my uncles were present in the battle of Badr say, and they narrated it to the members of the family, that the Messenger of Allah (saws) forbade leasing land. 'Abd Allah said: I swear by Allah, I knew that land was leased in the time of the Messenger of Allah (saws). 'Abd Allah then feared that the Messenger of Allah (saws) might have created something new in that matter, so he gave up leasing land.
Abu Dawud said: This tradition has also been transmitted by Ayyub, 'Ubaid Allah, Kathir b. Farqad, Malik from Nafi' on the authority of Rafi' from the Prophet (saws). It has also been transmitted by al-Auzai' from Hafs b. 'Inan al-Hanafi from Nafi' from Rafi' who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (saws) say: Similarly, it has been transmitted by Zaid b. Abi Unaisah from al-Hakkam from Nafi' from Ibn 'Umar that he went to Rafi' and asked: Have you heard the Messenger of Allah (saws) say? He replied: Yes. Similarly, it has also been transmitted by 'Ikrimah b. 'Ammar from Abu al-Najashi, from Rafi' b. Khadij who said: I heard the Prophet (saws) say. It has also been transmitted by al-Auza'i from Abu al-Najashi from Rafi' b. Khadij from his uncle Zuhair b. Rafi' from the Prophet (saws).
Abu Dawud said: The name of Abu al-Najashi is 'Ata b. Suhaib.

Sunan Abi Dawud 1790
Ibn ‘Abbas reported the Prophet (saws) as saying This is an ‘Umrah from which we have benefitted. Anyone who has brought sacrificial animal with him should take off ihram totally. ‘Umrah has been included in Hajj till the Day of Judgment.
Abu Dawud said This is a munkar (uncommon) tradition. This is in fact the statement of Ibn ‘Abbas himself.
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَهُمْ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُ قَالَ

Al-Fadl b. ‘Abbas said, “God’s Messenger came to us accompanied by ‘Abbas when we were in open country belonging to us. He prayed in a desert with no sutra in front of him, and a she-ass and a bitch of ours were playing in front of him, but he paid no attention to that.”
Abu Dawud transmitted it and Nasa’i has something similar.

Ibn ‘Abbas told that he heard God’s messenger say, “Everyone who makes representations of things will go to hell, and for every representation he has made there will be produced a soul which will punish him in jahannam.” Ibn ‘Abbas said :
If you must do it, make pictures of trees and of things which do not possess a soul.

Muhammad b. Sinn said that when a bier came past al-Hasan b. ‘All and Ibn ‘Abbas al-Hasan stood up but Ibn ‘Abbas did not, so al- Hasan said, “Did God’s messenger not stand up out of respect for the bier of a Jew ?” He replied, “Yes, but thereafter he sat.”
Nasa’i transmitted it.

'A'isha reported that the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) recited loudly in the eclipse prayer, and he observed four rak'ahs in the form of two rak'ahs and four prostrations. Zuhri said:
Kathir b. 'Abbas narrated on the authority of Ibn 'Abbas that the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) observed four rak'ahs and four prostrations in two rak'ahs.

Narrated 'Ata':
It was narrated that 'Ata' said: "We attended the funeral of Maimunah, the wife of the Prophet, with Ibn 'Abbas in Sarif. Ibn 'Abbas said: 'This is Maimunah; when you lift up her bier, do not rock it nor shake it. The Messenger of Allah had nine wives and he used to give a share of his time to eight of them and not to one.'"

Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas:
The Messenger of Allah (saws) stayed fifteen days in Mecca in the year of Conquest. Shortening the prayer.
Abu Dawud said: This tradition has also been transmitted by 'Abdah b. Sulaiman, Ahmad b. Khalid al-Wahbi, and Salamah b. Fadli on the authority of Ibn Ishaq ; but they did not mention the name of Ibn 'Abbas.

Don't be hasty (in your religious verdict), Ibn 'Abbas, for Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) on the Day of Khaibar prohibited that forever - along with the eating of flesh of domestic asses.

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:
The Prophet (saws) left Medina for Mecca till he reached 'Usfan, He then called for a vessel (of water). It was raised to his mouth to show it to the people, and that was in Ramadan. Ibn 'Abbas used to say: The Prophet (saws) fasted and he broke his fast. He who likes may fast and he who likes may break.

Sunan Abi Dawud 1771
Ibn `Umar said this is your al-Baida’ about which you ascribe falsehood to the Messenger of Allah (SWAS). He did not raise his voice in talbiyah but from the masjid, i.e. the mosque of Dhu al-Hulaifah.

Ibn ‘Umar reported God’s Messenger as saying, “Every intoxicant is khamr and every intoxicant is forbidden. He who drinks wine in this world and dies when he is addicted to it, not having repented, will not drink it in the next.”

The Prophet (SAW) re-directed al-Yamin (the oath to be sword by the defendant) to the one making the claim to some right.
[ad-Daraqutni reported the two aforesaid Ahadith, and there is weakness in their chain of narrators].

Aba Sa‘id reported God's Messenger as saying, "The truthful and trusty merchant is associated with the prophets, the upright, and the martyrs."
Tirmidhi, Darimi and Daraqutni transmitted it, and Ibn Majah transmitted it on the authority of Ibn ‘Umar. Tirmidhi said this is a gharib tradition.
عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «التَّاجِرُ الصَّدُوقُ الْأَمِينُ معَ النبِّيِينَ والصِّدِّيقينَ والشهداءِ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ وَالدَّارَقُطْنِيّ.

" Whether you turn thither is Allah's face," and it was revealed in this context.

It was narrated from 'Umar bin Khattab that:
The Messenger of Allah said: "There are seven places where it is not permissible to perform the prayer: The top of the House of Allah; graveyards; garbage dumps; slaughterhouses; bathrooms; the area that camels rest, and the main road."

It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said:
"We used to buy food from troops of riders (i.e., the caravans) without knowing the amount, but the Messenger of Allah (SAW) forbade us to sell it until it had been delivered to us."

“Carrying out one of the legal punishments prescribed by Allah (SWT) is better than if it were to rain for forty nights in the land of Allah (SWT), Glorified is He.”

“A man burped in the presence of
the Prophet (saw) and he said: ‘Withhold your burps from us! For

most hungry of you on the Day of Resurrection will be those who

ate their fill in this world.’”

It was
narrated from Abu ‘Umar, the freed slave of Asma’, from Asma’
bint Abi Bakr, that she brought out a cloak edged with brocade and
said:
“The Prophet (saw) used to wear this when he met the enemy.”

We heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: “I am not to be inherited from.`

It was narrated that Abu Juhaifah said:
‘Ali bin Abi Talib (رضي الله عنه) said: Shall I not tell you of the best of this ummah after its Prophet (ﷺ)? Abu Bakr, then `Umar, then another man.

It was narrated that ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) said:
The Prophet (ﷺ) came first, followed by Abu Bakr, and the third one was `Umar (رضي الله عنهما). Then turmoil (fitnah) struck us; Allah will pardon whomever He will.

The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "Prayer at night is two by two, then when you want to finish, pray one rak'h which will make the total number that you prayed odd."

" أَتَانِي اللَّيْلَةَ آتٍ مِنْ رَبِّي وَهْوَ بِالْعَقِيقِ أَنْ صَلِّ فِي هَذَا الْوَادِي الْمُبَارَكِ وَقُلْ عُمْرَةٌ وَحَجَّةٌ ". وَقَالَ هَارُونُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ عُمْرَةٌ فِي حَجَّةٍ.

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar used to recite the first ten suras of the mufassal in the subh prayer, and on a journey he would recite the ummal-Qur'an and a sura in every raka.

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar saw two men talking while the imam was giving the khutba on the day of jumua and he threw pebbles at them to tell them to be quiet.
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ، رَأَى رَجُلَيْنِ يَتَحَدَّثَانِ وَالإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَحَصَبَهُمَا أَنِ اصْمُتَا .

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Ibn Umar stayed in Makka for ten nights, shortening the prayer, except when he prayed it behind an imam, in which case he followed the imam's prayer.

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar never used to tear the drapes of his sacrificial animals, and he would not drape them until he went from Mina to Arafa.

A hadith like this was reported on the authority of Zuhri with the same chain of narrators. Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with them), however, said:
I took her back, and counted this pronouncement of divorce (as valid) with which I divorced her.

Once Allah's Apostle passed by an Ansari (man) who was admonishing his brother regarding Haya'. On that Allah's Apostle said, "Leave him as Haya' is a part of faith." (See Hadith 9)

" دَعْهُ فَإِنَّ الْحَيَاءَ مِنَ الإِيمَانِ ".

I offered with Allah's Apostle a two rak`at prayer before the Zuhr prayer and two rak`at after the Zuhr prayer, two rak`at after Jumua, Maghrib and `Isha' prayers.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي سَالِمٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ، وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ، وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ، وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ، وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ.
