Allah’s Messenger (saw) sent out a military expedition and commanded them to wipe over the turbans and leather socks. [ Reported by Ahmad and Abu Da’ud. Al-Hakim graded it Sahih (sound)].

Allah’s Messenger (saw) said, “He who touches his penis should perform ablution”. [Reported by Al-Khamsa, and At-Tirmidhi and Ibn Hibban graded it Sahih (sound).

Abu Hurairah (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) said, “Nothing is more honorable before Allah than supplication.” Related by At-Tirmidhi with a full chain of narrators. Ibn Hibban and Al-Hakim graded it as Sahih;.

Umm Salamah (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "Allah did not make your cure in what He made Haram (unlawful) to you." Related by Al-Baihaqi and graded as Sahih by Ibn Hibban.

Allah's Messenger (SAW) ruled that the two opposing parties in a dispute should sit in front of the judge. [Reported by Abu Dawud. al-Hakim graded it Sahih (authentic)].

Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "It is not lawful for a person to take his brother's stick except if he is pleased with such." [Ibn Hibban and al-Hakim reported it in their two Sahih books].

Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "If anyone puts a wall around a (barren) land, it belongs to him." [Reported by Abu Dawud and Ibn al-Jarud graded it Sahih (authentic)].

Tublī wa yukhliful-lāhu ta`ālā. May Allah replace it when it is worn out. Reference: Abu Dawud 4/41. See also Al-Albani Sahih Abu Dawud 2/760.

I heard the Prophet (PBUH) saying: "A mother's sister is equivalent to (real) mother (in status)".

Allah’s Mesenger (saw) said: “If there is enough water to fill two pots (Qulla), it carries no impurity,” Another version has: “It does not become unclean”. {Al-Arba’a reported it. Ibn Khuzaima, Ibn Hibban and Al-Hakim graded it Sahih (sound)].

The Prophet (SAW) said, "It is not lawful for a Muslim man to give a gift and then take it back, except a father regarding what he gives a child." [Reported by Ahmad and al-Arba'a. at-Tirmidhi, Ibn Hibban and al-Hakim graded it Sahih (authentic)].

Ilbas jadīdan, wa `ish ḥamīdan, wa mut shahīdan. Put on new clothes, live a praise-worthy life and die as a martyr. Reference: Ibn Majah 2/1178, Al-Baghawi 12/41. See also Al-Albani, Sahih Ibn Majah 2/275

"He must return with it one Sa' of any grain but wheat." [al-Bukhari said, "(One Sa' of) dates is mentioned in more narrations than not].

Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "There are three things which, whether undertaken seriously or in jest, are treated as serious: marriage, divorce and taking back a wife after a divorce which is not final." [Reported by al-Arba'a except an-Nasa'i. al-Hakim graded it Sahih (authentic)].

Allah's Messenger (SAW) cursed the one who bribes and the one who takes bribes. [Reported by Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, who graded it Sahih (authentic)].

Abu Hurayrah reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would recite, in the morning prayer of Jumu’ah (Friday), Sūrat as-Sajdah (32) in the first rakʿah, and Sūrat al-Insān (76) in the second rakʿah. Reference: Sahih Muslim 880

Allāhumma innī as'aluka bi'annī ash-hadu annaka ant-Allāh lā 'ilāha 'illā ant, Al-Aḥaduṣ-ṣamad alladhī lam yalid wa lam yūlad wa lam yakun lahu kufuwan aḥad. O Allah, I ask You, by the fact that I bear witness that You are Allah. There is none worthy of worship but You, the Only God, Independent of creation, Who was not begotten and begets not, and none is equal to Him. Reference: Abu Dawud 2/62, Ibn Majah 2/1267, At-Tirmidhi 5/515, Ahmad 5/360. See also Al-Albani, Sahih Ibn Majah 2/329 and Sahih At-Tirmidhi 3/163.

‘Abdallah b. ‘Amr reported God’s messenger as saying, “The major sins are associating other objects of worship with God, disobedience to parents, murder, and deliberate perjury (al-yamin al-ghamus)." Bukhari transmitted it. Anas’s version has “false witness”* (shahadat al-zur) instead of ‘‘deliberate perjury." (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Narrated Abu Burda bin Abu Musa on the authority of his father; Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "There is no marriage without a guardian." [Ahmad and al-Arba'a reported it. Ibn al-Madini, at-Tirmidhi and Ibn Hibban graded it Sahih (authentic), but it was regarded defective for being Mursal (missing link after the Tabi'i)].

Malik said in al-Muwatta' from al-'Ala bin 'Abdur-Rahman bin Ya'qub from his father on the authority of his grandfather that he traded with some property belonging to 'Uthman (RA) so that the profit would be divided between them. [This hadith is Mawquf (saying of a Companion) Sahih (authentic)].

"The Messenger of Allah (saws) prohibited riding (while sitting on) Miyathir."

[Abu 'Eisa said:] There are narrations on this topic from 'Ali and Mu'awiyah. The Hadith if Al-Bara' is Hasan Sahih. Shu'bah reported similarly from Ash'ath bin Abi Ash-Sha'tha' in the lengthy Hadith.

It was reported from ‘Ubaydullāh ibn ‘Abdullāh that ‘Umar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb asked Abu Waqid al-Laythi what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite in the (Eid) prayers of al-Adhā and al-Fitr. He said, "He used to recite Qāf wal-qur’ānil majeed (Sūrah Qāf) and Iqtarabat al-sā’atul wanshaqqal qamar (Sūrah al-Qamar).” Reference: Sahih Muslim 891a, Muwatta Malik.

It was reported from ‘Ubaydullāh ibn ‘Abdullāh that ‘Umar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb asked Abu Waqid al-Laythi what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite in the (Eid) prayers of al-Adhā and al-Fitr. "Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "Whoever swears an oath, and then says: "If Allah Wills", he is not held accountable if he breaks it." [Ahmad and al-Arba'a reported it, and Ibn Hibban graded it Sahih (authentic)].

The Prophet (SAW) said, "The Salat (prayer) of a woman, who has reached puberty, is not accepted unless she is wearing a Khimar." [Reported by al-Khamsah except an-Naza'i. And Ibn Khuzaimah graded it Sahih (authentic)].

Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "When one of you is praying he must not remove pebbles (from his face) for the mercy is facing him." [Reported by al-Khamsah with a Sahih (authentic) chain].

Narrated Abu Qatada (rad): Allah’s Messenger (saw) said about the cat that, “It is not unclean, but is one of those who intermingle with you.” [Reported by Al-Arba’a. At-Tirmidhi and Ibn Khuzaima graded it Sahih (sound)].

Allah’s Messenger (saw) said, “The urine of a baby girl should be washed off and the urine of baby boy should be sprinkled (with water)”. [Reported by Abu Da’ud and An-Nasa’i and Al-Hakim graded it Sahih (sound)].

Abu Hurairah (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) said, “You (people) cannot satisfy people with your wealth, but satisfy them with your cheerful faces and good morals.” Related by Abu Ya’la and Al-Hakim graded it as Sahih.

Ibn ’Abbas (RAA) narrated, ‘An elderly man is permitted to break his fast, but he must feed a poor person daily, and he does not have to make up for it.’ Related by Ad-Daraqutni and Al- hakim, who rendered it to be Sahih

Abu Hurairah (RAA) narrated that The Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) forbade fasting on the day of Arafah for the one who is actually at Arafah (i.e. performing Hajj). Related by the five Imams except for At-Tirmidhi. Ibn Khuzaimah and al-Hakim graded it as Sahih.

The Prophet (SAW) forbade Muhaqalah, Muzabanah, and Mukhabarah. He also forbade Thunya unless it was explicit (a known amount). [Reported by al-Khamsah excluding Ibn Majah; at-Tirmidhi graded it Sahih (authentic)].

Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "The House (Judgement Day) will not come until people boast (to each other) with (the construction and decoration of) mosques. [Reported by al-Khamsah except at-Tirmidhi, and Ibn Khuzaimah graded it Sahih (authentic)].

Subḥāna Rabbiya ‘l-a`lā. Glory is to my Lord, the Most High. (This is said three times in Arabic.) Reference: Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah, An-Nasa'i, At-Tirmidhi, and Ahmad. See also Al-Albani, Sahih At-Tirmidhi 1/83.

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Allah does not accept any prayer without purification and He does not accept any charity from Ghulul.'" (Sahih) Another chain with similar wording.

That 'Umar gave a Khutbah at Al-Jabiyah and he said: "The Messenger of Allah (saws) prohibited silk except for two finger's worth of space, or three, or four."

[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.

"The closest that the Lord comes to the slave is in the last portion of the night. So, if you are able to be among those who remember Allah in this hour, then be among them." Reference: At-Tirmidhi, An-Nasa'i 1/279 and Al-Hakim. See also Al-Albani, Sahih At-Tirmidhi 3/183, and Jdmi'ul-'Usool with Al-Arna'ut's checking 4/144.

Lā ilāha illallāh waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, Lahu ‘l-mulku wa lahu ‘l-ḥamd, Yuḥyī wa yumīt, wa huwa ḥayyun lā yamūt, Biyadihi ‘l-khayr, wa huwa `alā kulli shay'in Qadīr. None has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, Who has no partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise. He brings life and He causes death, and He is living and does not die. In His Hand is all good, and He is Able to do all things. Reference: At-Tirmidhi 5/291, and Al-Hakim 1/538. Al-Albani graded it good in Sahih Ibn Majah 2/21 and Sahih At-Tirmidhi 3/152.

A`ūdhu billāhi minash-shayṭānir-rajīm. Seeking refuge with Allah against him (i.e. by saying I seek refuge in Allah from Satan the outcast). Reference: Abu Dawud 1/206, At-Tirmidhi. See also Al-Albani, Sahih At-Tirmidhi 1/77, and Surat Al-Mu'minun, 23:98-9.

Abu Sa’īd al-Khudrī said, “Some of the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ went on a journey. They alighted with a certain clan of the Arabs. Someone of them said, “Our chief has been stung by a scorpion or bitten by a snake. Has any of you something which gives relief to our chief?” A man of the people said, “Yes, I swear by Allah. I can recite an incantation, but we asked you for hospitality and you denied it to us. I shall not recite the incantation until you give me some payment.” So, they promised to give some sheep to him. He came to him and recited Sūrah al-Fātiḥah over him and blew (upon him) till he was cured, and he seemed as if he were set free from a bond. So, they gave him the payment that was agreed between them. They said, “Distribute it.” The man who applied the treatment said, “Do not do it until we approach the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.” And He ﷺ said, “From where did you learn that it was a treatment? You have done right. Apportion them, and give me a share along with you.” Reference: Sahih al-Bukhari 5007

Abu Rafi' told th at he saw God's messenger uttering the call to prayer in the ear of al-Hasan b. ‘Ali when Fatima gave birth to him. Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud transmitted it, Tirmidhi saying this is a hasan sahih tradition.

The Prophet (saw) used to teach us the Qur’an except when he was in a state of sexual impurity. [Reported by Ahmad and Al-Arba’a. This is the version of At-Tirmidhi who graded it Hasan (fair). And Ibn Hibban graded it Sahih (sound)].

Qutbah bin Malik (RAA) narrated, ‘The Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) used to say, “O Allah, I seek refuge in you from evil morals, deeds, passions and diseases.” Related by At-Tirmidhi. Al-Hakim graded it as Sahih and it is his version.

The Prophet (SAW) was brought a dish containing Tharid and said, "Eat from its side and not from the middle, for the blessing descends in the middle of it." [Reported by al-Arba'a. This is the wording of an-Nasa'i. Its chain of narrators is Sahih (authentic)].

Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "There is no divorce except after marriage, and no freeing (of a slave) till one has possession (of one)." [Reported by Abu Ya'la and al-Hakim graded it Sahih (authentic), but it is Ma'lul (containing a hidden defective).

Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "O people of the Qur'an! Offer Witr (prayer), because Allah is Witr (One) and loves Witr." [Reported by al-Khamsah and Ibn Khuzaimah graded it Sahih (authentic)].

Allāh, Allāhu Rabbī lā ushriku bihi shay'a. Allah, Allah is my Lord. I do not associate anything with Him. Reference: Abu Dawud 2/87. See also Al-Albani, Sahih Ibn Mdjah 2/335.

That the Prophet (saws) said: "A worshipper does not fast a day in the cause of Allah except that, that day (of fasting) distances the Fire from his face by seventy autumns."

[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.

That the Messenger of Allah (saws) said, "Whoever prepares a fighter in Allah's cause, or looks after the family of a fighter, then he has participated in a military expedition."

[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.

Allah's Messenger (Peace be upon him) said regarding a husband who has sexual intercourse with his wife during her menstruation period, "He must pay a Dinar or half a Dinar in way of charity.” [Reported by the five Imams. Al-Hakim and Ibn Al-Qattan graded it Sahih (sound).]

The Prophet (SAW) said, "There are three people whose actions are not recorded, a sleeping person till he awakes, a child till he is a grown up, and an insane person till he is restored to reason or recovers his sense." [Reported by Ahmad and al-Arba'a, except at-Tirmidhi. al-Hakim graded it Sahih (authentic)].

I heard Allah's Messenger (SAW) as saying, "The property which a parent or a child has a right to, goes to his 'Asabah (paternal relatives) whoever it may be. [Reported by Abu Dawud, an-Nasa'i and Ibn Majah. Ibn al-Madini and Ibn 'Abdul-Barr graded it Sahih (authentic)].

Al-ḥamdu lillāhil-ladhī `āfānī fī jasadī, wa radda `alayya rūḥī, wa 'adhina lī bidhikrihi. Praise is to Allah Who gave strength to my body and returned my soul to me and permitted me to remember Him. Reference: At-Tirmidhi 5/473. See Al-Albani's Sahih Tirmidhi 3/144.

Lā ilāha illā anta subḥānaka innī kuntu minaẓ-ẓālimīn. There is none worthy of worship but You, glory is to You. Surely, I was among the wrongdoers. Reference: At-Tirmidhi 5/529. Al-Hakim declared it authentic and Ath-Thahabi agreed with him 1/ 505. See also Al-Albani, Sahih At-Tirmidhi 3/168.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me: There have been sent down to me verses the like of which had never been seen before. (They are): "Qul a’oodhu birabbil Falaq (Surat al-Falaq)”, and “Qul a’oodhu birabbin-naas (Surat al-Nās).” Reference: Sahih Muslim 814a.

‘Ubaid b. Rifa'a on his father’s authority reported the Prophet as saying, "The merchants will be raised up on the day of resurrection as evildoers, except those who fear God, are honest and speak the truth.” Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah and Darimi transmitted it, and Baihaqi transmitted it in Shu'ab al-iman on the authority of al-Bara’. Tirmidhi said this is a hasan sahih tradition.

From Abu Musa who said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah (saws) eating chicken meat."

He said: The Hadith has more statements that this. And this Hadith is Hasan Sahih. Ayyub As-Sakhtiyani also reported this Hadith from Al-Qasim At-Tamimi, and, from Abu Qilabah, from Zahdam Al-Jarmi.

Ibn Az-Zubair (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) said, "Offering prayer in my mosque (in Madinah) is better than one thousand prayers elsewhere, save for those offered prayer in al-Masjid al-Haram (in Makkah). And prayer offered in al-Masjid al-Haram is better than prayer offered in my mosque by one hundred prayers." Related by Ahmad and Ibn Hibban graded it as Sahih.

Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "He who has been appointed a Qadi (judge) has been slaughtered without a knife." [Reported by Ahmad and al-Arba'a. Ibn Khuzaimah and Ibn Hibban graded it Sahih (authentic)].

The Prophet (SAW) said, "Anyone who has two wives and inclines to one of them will come on the Day of Resurrection with a side (of his body) inclining." [Reported by Ahmad and al-Arba'a; its chain of narrators is Sahih (authentic)].

Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "Whoever accepts back what he sold to a Muslim, Allah will forgive his fault." [Reported by Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah. Ibn Hibban and al-Hakim graded it Sahih (authentic)].

Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "Whoever recites Ayat al-Kursi at the end of every obligatory prayer, nothing but death will prevent him from entering Paradise." [An-Nasa'i reported it, and Ibn Hibban graded it Sahih (authentic).

“I memorized (surah) "Qāf, by the glorious Qur'an" from the mouth of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) on Friday as he recited it on the pulpit on every Jumu’ah (Friday).” Reference: Sahih Muslim 872a

I heard Ibn 'Abbas deliver a Khutbah from your Minbar - meaning the Minbar in Al-Basrah - saying: 'Sadaqatul Fitr is a Sa' of food." (Sahih) Abu 'Abdur-Rahman (An-Nasa'i) said: This is the most reliable of the three.

and Al-Bukhari said, “It is the most authentic in this chapter”.

That the Prophet (saws) said: "Do not withhold surplus water so that it is prevented from the pasture."

[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.

Abu Al-Munhal's name is 'Abdur-Rahman bin Mut'im, he is from Al-Kufah, and he is oen that Habib bin Abi Thabit reports from. Abu Al-Munhal Sayyar bin Salamah is from Al-Basrah, he is the companion of Abu Barzah Al-Aslami.

(the saying of) ‘None has the right to be worshipped except Allah alone, How perfect Allah is and Allah is great and all praise is for Allah, There is no might nor power except with Allah.” Related by An-Nasa’i. Ibn Hibban and Al-Hakim graded it as Sahih.

That the Prophet (saws) said: "The disbeliever eats with seven intestines and the believer eats with one intestine."

[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.

He said: There are narrations on this topic from Abu Hurairah, Abu Sa'eed, Abu Basrah Al-Ghifari, Abu Musa, Jahjah Al-Ghifari, Maimunah, and 'Abdullah bin 'Amr.

That she brought a side of roasted meat to the Messenger of Allah (saws), so he ate it from it and stood for Salat, and did not perform Wudu'

[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih Gharib from this route.

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "I do not think that so-and-so understands anything of our Faith."

Al-Bukhari said: Al- Laith bin Sa'd, who is one of the narrators of this Hadith, said: The two men mentioned by the Prophet (PBUH) in this Hadith were hypocrites (i.e., they revealed Faith and concealed disbelief).

Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "The suckling that makes marriage unlawful is that which reaches the intestines (i.e. nourishes the child), and is taken before (two years) time of weaning." [Reported by at-Tirmidhi, he and al-Hakim graded it Sahih (authentic)].

that about Allah's saying: Thus we have made you a Wasata nation (2:143) - the Prophet (SAW) said: "The meaning of Wasata is just."

(Another chain) From Abu Sa'eed who narrated that: "The Messenger of Allah a said: 'Nuh will be called and it will be said: "Did you deliver (the Message)? "He will say: "Yes" and his people will be called and it will be said: "Did he call you?" They will say: "No warner came to us. No one came to us.' It will be said: "Who will testify for you?" So it is said: "Muhammad and his Ummah (community)." He (SAW) said: You will be brought to testify that he delivered (the Message) and that is His saying: Thus, we have made you a Wasata nation that you will be witnesses over mankind and the Messenger (Muhammad) will be a witness over you.' And Al-Wasat is "Just." (Sahih)
Abu 'Eisa said: This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.

Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "The right to inheritance from a freed slave is a relationship like the relationship of blood relatives (lineage); it cannot be sold or given away." [al-Hakim reported it through ash-Shafi'i's narration from Muhammad bin al-Hasan on the authority of Abu Yusuf. Ibn Hibban graded it Sahih (authentic), while al-Baihaqi graded it defective].

‘Ali reported God’s Messenger as saying, “The niggardly one is the man in whose presence I am mentioned but who does not invoke a blessing on me.” Tirmidhi transmitted it, and Ahmad transmitted it from al-Husain b. ‘Ali. Tirmidhi said this is a hasan sahih gharib tradition.

Allah’s Mesenger (saw) said, “Perform a perfect Wudu run (your fingers) through the fingers of the hands and the toes, and if not fasting, sniff water up well inside the nose”. [Reported by Al-Arba’a and Ibn Khuzaima graded it Sahih].

The Prophet (SAW) appointed a sixth to a grandmother if no mother is left to inherit before her. [Reported by Abu Dawud and an-Nasa'i. Ibn Khuzaimah and Ibn al-Jarud graded it Sahih (authentic) and Ibn 'Adi graded it strong].

Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "The Witr is a duty, so he who does not offer it, is not one of us." [Reported by Abu Dawud with a Laiyin (weak) chain of narrators and Al-Hakim graded it Sahih (authentic)].

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'It is not righteousness to fast when traveling."' (Sahih) Abu 'Abdur-Rahman (An-Nasai) said: This is a mistake, and what is correct is the one that is before it. We do not know of anyone who followed up Ibn Kathir.

"When the Messenger of Allah (saws) arrived from Tabuk, the people went out to Thaniyyah Al-Wada' to meet him." As-Sa'ib said: "I went out with the people, and I was a boy."

[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.

"The Messenger of Allah (saws) prohibited me from rings of gold, and from wearing Al-Qassi, and from reciting in the bowing and prostration positions, and from wearing what was dyed with 'Usfur."

[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.

That the Prophet (saws) said: "Indeed the best of what the gray may be changed with is Henna' and Katam."

[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih. Abu Al-Aswad Ad-Dili's (a narrator in this chain) name is Zalim bin 'Amr bin Sufyan.
