Narrated Ibn 'Abbas (RA):
Allah's Messenger (SAW) ruled on the basis of an oath and a single witness.
[Muslim, Abu Dawud and an-Nasa'i reported it, the latter said that it has a Jayyid (good) chain or narrators].
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا; { أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَضَى بِيَمِينٍ وَشَاهِدٍ } أَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ. وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ. وَالنَّسَائِيُّ وَقَالَ: إِسْنَادُ [ هُ ] جَيِّد ٌ 1 .

Narrated 'Uqbah bin 'Aamir (RA):

The daughter of Ḥārithah bin An-Nu’mān said:
"I memorized 'Qaf. By the Glorious Qur'an,'" from the mouth of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) when he was on the minbar (pulpit) on Friday."

Ibn ‘Umar reported God's messenger as saying, “The hypocrite is like a ewe which goes to and fro between two flocks, turning at one time to the one and at another time to the other.”

Abu Huraira said that fever was mentioned in the presence of God’s messenger, and when a man reviled it the Prophet said, "Do not revile it, for it removes sins as fire removes the dross of iron.”

" وَلاَ يَتَبَسَّطْ أَحَدُكُمْ ذِرَاعَيْهِ انْبِسَاطَ الْكَلْبِ " .

" مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ - يُرِيدُ الثُّومَ - فَلاَ يَغْشَنَا فِي مَسْجِدِنَا " . وَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ الْبَصَلَ وَالْكُرَّاثَ .

Ibn 'Umar said that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) used to deliver the sermon on Friday while standing. He would then sit and then stand (for the second sermon) as they (the Muslims) do nowadays.

"The Prophet said: 'Perform prayer in the sheep's resting-places and do not perform prayer in the camels' resting-places, for they were created from the devils."

the Messenger of Allah sent him to Yemen and said to him: “Take grains from grains, sheep from sheep, camels from camels and cows from cows”

"The swearing of the Messenger of Allah (SAW) when he took an oath and I bear witness before Allah was: 'By the One in Whose Hand is my soul."'

" مَنْ أَعْتَقَ عَبْدًا وَلَهُ مَالٌ فَمَالُ الْعَبْدِ لَهُ إِلاَّ أَنْ يَشْتَرِطَ السَّيِّدُ مَالَهُ فَيَكُونَ لَهُ " . وَقَالَ ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ إِلاَّ أَنْ يَسْتَثْنِيَهُ السَّيِّدُ .

It was narrated from Jabir bin Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said:
“Whoever dies leaving a will, he dies on the right path and Sunnah, and he dies with piety and witness, and he dies forgiven.”

saw a man who had interlocked his fingers during the prayer, so

Messenger of Allah (saw) separated his fingers.

Shurahbil
said:
“I heard Jabir bin ‘Abdullah say: ‘The Messenger of
Allah
(saw) was performing Maghrib, and I came and stood on his left,
but
he made me stand on his right.’”
حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ أَبُو بِشْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُرَحْبِيلُ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يُصَلِّي الْمَغْرِبَ، فَجِئْتُ فَقُمْتُ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ، فَأَقَامَنِي عَنْ يَمِينِهِ .

Sunan Ibn Majah 1079
‘Abdullah bin Buraidah narrated that his father said:
“The
Messenger
of Allah (saw) said: ‘The covenant that distinguishes
between us and
them is prayer; so whoever leaves it, he has committed
Kufr.’”

Sunan Ibn Majah 1080
It was
narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Prophet (saw) said:
“There is
nothing standing between a person and Shirk (polytheism)
except
leaving the prayer, so if he leaves it he has committed Shirk.”

Sunan Ibn Majah 1144
It was
narrated that Ibn ‘Umar said:
“The Messenger of Allah (saw)
used
to pray two Rak’ah before the morning (prayer), as if the Adhan
were in his ears. (i.e., he would pray them briefly).
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ، أَنْبَأَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يُصَلِّي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْغَدَاةِ كَأَنَّ الأَذَانَ بِأُذُنَيْهِ .

It was
narrated that ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr said:
“The Messenger of Allah
(saw) said: ‘Do not be like so-and-so, who used to pray voluntary
night prayers then stopped praying voluntary night prayers.”
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، أَنْبَأَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ
" لاَ تَكُنْ مِثْلَ فُلاَنٍ كَانَ يَقُومُ اللَّيْلَ فَتَرَكَ قِيَامَ اللَّيْلِ " .

(Sahl)
bin Hunaif said:
“The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: ‘Whoever
purifies himself in his house, then comes to the Quba’ Mosque and
offers one prayer therein, will have a reward like that for ‘Umrah.”
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، وَعِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْكِرْمَانِيُّ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا أُمَامَةَ بْنَ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ، يَقُولُ قَالَ سَهْلُ بْنُ حُنَيْفٍ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ
" مَنْ تَطَهَّرَ فِي بَيْتِهِ، ثُمَّ أَتَى مَسْجِدَ قُبَاءٍ، فَصَلَّى فِيهِ صَلاَةً، كَانَ لَهُ كَأَجْرِ عُمْرَةٍ " .

Sunan Ibn Majah 1456
It was
narrated that ‘Aishah said:
“The Messenger of Allah (SAW)
kissed
‘Uthman bin Maz’un when he had died, and it is as if I can see
him with his tears flowing down his cheeks.”
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ قَبَّلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ مَظْعُونٍ وَهُوَ مَيِّتٌ فَكَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى دُمُوعِهِ تَسِيلُ عَلَى خَدَّيْهِ .

Sunan Ibn Majah 3967
It was narrated from ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr that the Messenger of
Allah
(saw) said:
“There will be a tribulation which will utterly
destroy
the Arabs, and those who are slain will be in Hell. At that
time the
tongue will be worse than a blow of the sword.”
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْجُمَحِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ زِيَادٍ، سِيمِينْ كُوشْ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ
" تَكُونُ فِتْنَةٌ تَسْتَنْظِفُ الْعَرَبَ قَتْلاَهَا فِي النَّارِ اللِّسَانُ فِيهَا أَشَدُّ مِنْ وَقْعِ السَّيْفِ " .

Sunan Ibn Majah 4183
It was
narrated from ‘Uqbah bin ‘Amr, Abu Mas’ud, that the Messenger
of Allah (saw) said:
“Among the words that people learned from the
earlier Prophets are: ‘If you feel no shame, then do as you wish.’”
حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ رَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ
" إِنَّ مِمَّا أَدْرَكَ النَّاسُ مِنْ كَلاَمِ النُّبُوَّةِ الأُولَى إِذَا لَمْ تَسْتَحِي فَاصْنَعْ مَا شِئْتَ " .

Anas bin
Malik narrated the Messenger of Allah (saw) said:
“This is
the son
of Adam, and this is his life span at his neck,’ then he
spread his
hand in front of him and said: ‘And there is his hope.”
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، حَدَّثَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ : " هَذَا ابْنُ آدَمَ وَهَذَا أَجَلُهُ عِنْدَ قَفَاهُ " . وَبَسَطَ يَدَهُ أَمَامَهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ : " وَثَمَّ أَمَلُهُ " .

It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah (saws) said:
"There is no Sadaqah on less than five camels; there is no Sadaqah on less than five Awaq; and there is no Sadaqah on less than five Awsaq."
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ
" لَيْسَ فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسِ ذَوْدٍ صَدَقَةٌ وَلَيْسَ فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسِ أَوَاقٍ صَدَقَةٌ وَلَيْسَ فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسَةِ أَوْسَاقٍ صَدَقَةٌ " .

It was narrated that ‘Abdullah bin Abi Mulaikah said:
It was said to Abu Bakr: O khaleefäh of Allah. He said: Rather slam] the khaleefah (lit successor) of Muhammad (ﷺ), and I am pleased with that,
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، حَدَّثَنَا نَافِعُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْجُمَحِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، قَالَ قِيلَ لِأَبِي بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يَا خَلِيفَةَ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ بَلْ خَلِيفَةُ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا أَرْضَى بِهِ.
