Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 664
'Abdullah ibn 'Abbas reported that the Messenger of Allah may Allah
bless him and grant him peace, used to say, "O Allah, help me and do not
help against me. Support me and do not support anyone against me. Make
guidance easy for me."
حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ طَلِيقِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ: اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي وَلاَ تُعِنْ عَلَيَّ، وَانْصُرْنِي وَلاَ تَنْصُرْ عَلَيَّ، وَيَسِّرِ الْهُدَى لِي.

Al-Aswad ibn Suray' said, "Messenger of Allah, I have praised my
Lord, the Almighty and Exalted, in some words of praise." He said, "Your
Lord loves praise," and did not say anything more.

Al-Bara' ibn 'Azib related that the Prophet, may Allah bless him

- or a path - that, for him, is equivalent to freeing a slave."

Al-Bara' ibn 'Azib reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah

be safe. The saw is evil."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلاَمٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَزَارِيُّ، وَأَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، قَالاَ: أَخْبَرَنَا قِنَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ النَّهْمِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْسَجَةَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم: أَفْشُوا السَّلاَمَ تَسْلَمُوا، وَالأَشَرَةُ شَرٌّ.
قَالَ أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ: الأشَرَةُ: الْعَبَثُ.

Aslam said, " 'Umar ibn al-Khattab said, 'Do not let your love
be a total infatuation. Do not let your anger be destruction.' I asked,
'How is that?' He replied, 'When you love, you are infatuated like a child.
When you hate, you desire destruction for your companion.'"
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ قَالَ: لاَ يَكُنْ حُبُّكَ كَلَفًا، وَلاَ بُغْضُكَ تَلَفًا، فَقُلْتُ: كَيْفَ ذَاكَ؟ قَالَ: إِذَا أَحْبَبْتَ كَلِفْتَ كَلَفَ الصَّبِيِّ، وَإِذَا أَبْغَضْتَ أَحْبَبْتَ لِصَاحِبِكَ التَّلَف.

Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 723
Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (ra) stopped speaking when he heard a thunder-clap and said:
“Glory be to him whose praise the thunderclap sings and the angels glorify in awe of him”. He used to say, then, that the thunder-clap is a stern warning for the dwellers of earth.

Mishkat al-Masabih 333
‘Umar b. ‘Abd al-‘Aziz told on the authority of Tamim ad-Dari that God’s messenger said, “Ablution must be performed on account of any flow of blood.”
Daraqutni transmitted the two traditions, saying that ‘Umar b. ‘Abd al-‘Aziz neither heard from Tamim ad-Dari nor saw him, and that Yazid b. Khalid and Yazid b. Muhammad* are unknown.
*These men occur in the isnad.

When I begin the prayer I Intend to make it long, but I hear a boy cry. ing; I then shorten it because of his mother's feelings.

Abdullah b. al-Mukhtar heard Musa b. Anas narrating on the authority of Anas b. Malik that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) led him, his mother or his aunt in prayer. He made me, stand on his right side and made the woman stand, behind us.

Sahih Muslim 902 b
Zuhri said:
Kathir b. Abbas used to narrate that Ibn 'Abbas used to relate about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) in regard to the eclipse of the sun like that what was narrated by 'Urwa on the authority of 'A'isha.
وَحَدَّثَنَا حَاجِبُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الزُّبَيْدِيُّ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ كَانَ كَثِيرُ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، كَانَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ صَلاَةِ، رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَوْمَ كَسَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ بِمِثْلِ مَا حَدَّثَ عُرْوَةُ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ .

Sahih Muslim 1149 e
Buraida (Allah be pleased with him) reported a similar hadith on the authority of his father that a woman came to the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) and he said:
" Fasting for one month."

It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said:
"The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: 'None of you truly believes until I am more beloved to him than his child, his father and all the people.'"

It was narrated that Hubshi bin Junadah said:

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that:
The Prophet said to Hasan: "O Allah, I love him, so love him and love those who love him." He said: "And he hugged him to his chest."

" اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أُحِبُّهُ فَأَحِبَّهُ وَأَحِبَّ مَنْ يُحِبُّهُ " . قَالَ وَضَمَّهُ إِلَى صَدْرِهِ .

Bahz bin Hakim narrated from his father that his grandfather Mu'awiyah Al-Qushairi said:
"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Let the one who is present convey to the one who is absent.'"

It was narrated that Jabir said:
"The Messenger of Allah forbade facing the Qiblah when urinating. But I saw him, one year before he died, facing the Qiblah (while urinating)."

It was narrated that Anas bin Malik would place his hands over his ears and say:
"May my ears be made deaf, if I did not hear the messenger of Allah saying: 'Perform ablution after (eating) that which has been changed by fire.'"

It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar was asked about gardens in which excrement was thrown.:
He said: "If it has been watered several times, then perform prayer there," and he attributed that to the Prophet.

It was narrated from 'Aishah that :
the Prophet (saas) used to say: "Allahum-maj'alni minal-ladhina idha ahsanu istabsharu, wa idha asa'u istaghfaru (O Allah, make me one of those who, if they do good deeds, they rejoice, and if they do bad deeds, they seek forgiveness)."

It was narrated from Sa'eed bin Abu Burdah bin Abu Musa, from his father, that :
his grandfather said: "The Messenger of Allah (saas) said: 'I seek the forgivenenss of Allah and repent to Him seventy times each day.'"

It was narrated from Suraqah bin Malik that the Prophet(SAW) said:
"Shall I not tell you of the best charity? A daughter who comes back to you and has no other breadwinner apart from you." (Daif)

It was narrated from Amr bin:
Shu'aib, form his father, that his grandfather said: “The Messenger of Allah only prescribed Zakat on these five things: wheat, barley, dates, raisins and corn.”

It was narrated from Sufyan (Ibn 'Uyainah) from `Ali bin Zaid bin Ju`dan from Anas bin Malik who said:
“I attended a wedding feast for the Prophet in which there was no meat and no bread.”
Ibn Majah said: It was not narrated except by Ibn `Uyainah.

Maimunah bint Harith narrated:
that the Messenger of Allah married her when he was Halal (not in Ihram). (Sahih).He (one of the narrators-Yazid) said: "And she was my maternal aunt and the maternal aunt of Idn 'Abbas also."

Sunan Ibn Majah 1975
It was narrated that Abu Ruhm said:
"The Messenger of Allah said: 'One of the best kinds of intercession is interceding between two people concerning marriage."'

Sunan Ibn Majah 2043
It was narrated from Abu Dharr Al-Ghifari that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said:
Allah has forgiven for me my nation their mistakes and forgetfulness, and what they are forced to do."

Sunan Ibn Majah 2308
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (SAW) said:
“Whoever is appointed judge between the people, he has been slaughtered without a knife.”

Sunan Ibn Majah 2428
Hirmas bin Habib narrated from his father that his grandfather said:
“I came to the Prophet (SAW) with a man who owed me money, and he said to me: 'Keep him.' Then he passed by me at the end of the day and said: 'What did your prisoner do, O brother of Banu Tamim?' ”
حَدَّثَنَا هَدِيَّةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ، حَدَّثَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْهِرْمَاسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، قَالَ أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِغَرِيمٍ لِي فَقَالَ لِي " الْزَمْهُ " . ثُمَّ مَرَّ بِي آخِرَ النَّهَارِ فَقَالَ " مَا فَعَلَ أَسِيرُكَ يَا أَخَا بَنِي تَمِيمٍ " .

It was narrated that Abu Minhal said:
“I heard Iyas bin 'Abd Muzani say - when he saw people selling water: 'Do not sell water, for I heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW) forbidding selling of water.' ”

“Whoever you find doing the action of the people of Lut, kill the one who does it, and the one to whom it is done.”

“Fasting the day of ‘Ashura’, I hope, will expiate for the sins
of the previous year.”

sacrificed a horned, defectless ram with a black stomach, black feet
and black around its eyes.”

It was
narrated from Jabir bin ‘Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah
(saw)
ordered that a piece from every camel that had been slaughtered
be
brought and placed in a pot, then they ate from its meat and drank
some of the broth.

“For a boy there should be an ‘Aqiqah, so shed blood for him and
remove the harm from him.”

passed by a man who was dragging a sheep by its ear. He said: ‘Leave
its ear alone and hold it by the sides of its neck.’”

narrated from Zaid bin Thabit that a wolf bit a sheep, and
they
slaughtered it with a sharp-edged stone, and the Messenger of
Allah
(saw) allowed them to eat it.

“Whoever goes out in the cause of Allah will have the equivalent

the dust that got on him, in musk, on the Day of Resurrection.”

narrated that Lahi’ah bin ‘Uqbah said:
“I heard Abul-Ward, the
Companion of the Messenger of Allah (saw), say: ‘Beware of the
troop
which, when it meets (the enemy) it flees, and when it takes
spoils of
war, it steals from it.’”

vessels for the Messenger of Allah (saw) at night: A vessel for his
water for purification, a vessel for his tooth stick and a vessel for
his drink.”
حَدَّثَنَا عِصْمَةُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَرَمِيُّ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ أَبِي حَفْصَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَرِيشُ بْنُ خِرِّيتٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كُنْتُ أَصْنَعُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ثَلاَثَةَ آنِيَةٍ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ مُخَمَّرَةً إِنَاءً لِطَهُورِهِ وَإِنَاءً لِسِوَاكِهِ وَإِنَاءً لِشَرَابِهِ .

‘Abdur-Rahman bin Sa’d bin ‘Ammar bin Sa’d narrated that his

told him, from his father, from his grandfather, that when the
Messenger of Allah (saw) delivered a speech on the battlefield he
would do so leaning on a bow, and when he delivered a sermon on
Friday, he would do so leaning on his staff.

Sunan Ibn Majah 1585
It was
narrated from Abu Umamah that the Messenger of Allah (SAW)
cursed the
woman who scratches her face and rends her garment and
cries that she
is doomed (i.e. because of the death of this person).

“Allah does not look at your forms or your wealth, rather

looks at your deeds and your hearts.”

free time.’”

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) gave me a suit of pure silk and I went out wearing it. But I saw anger on his face, so i tore it and divided it among my womenfolk.

Bilal bin Yahya bin Talhah bin `Ubaidullah narrated, from his father, from his grandfather that When the Prophet (ﷺ) saw the new moon, he would say:
`O Allah, bring it over us with blessing and faith, and with soundness and Islam. My Lord and your Lord is Allah.”
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ الْمَدَايِنِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي بِلَالُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا رَأَى الْهِلَالَ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ أَهِلَّهُ عَلَيْنَا بِالْيُمْنِ وَالْإِيمَانِ وَالسَّلَامَةِ وَالْإِسْلَامِ رَبِّي وَرَبُّكَ اللَّهُ.

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Abu Bakr ibn Ubaydullah ibn Abdullah ibn Umar from Abdullah ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "When you eat, eat with your right hand and drink with your right hand. Shaytan eats with his left hand and drinks with his left hand."
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" إِذَا أَكَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَأْكُلْ بِيَمِينِهِ وَلْيَشْرَبْ بِيَمِينِهِ فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَأْكُلُ بِشِمَالِهِ وَيَشْرَبُ بِشِمَالِهِ " .

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ishaq ibn Abdullah ibn Abi Talha that Anas ibn Malik heard Umar ibn al-Khattab return the greeting of a man who greeted him. Then Umar asked the man, "How are you?" He said, "I praise Allah to you." (Ahmadu ilayka Allah) Umar said, "That is what I wanted from you."
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، وَسَلَّمَ، عَلَيْهِ رَجُلٌ فَرَدَّ عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمَ ثُمَّ سَأَلَ عُمَرُ الرَّجُلَ كَيْفَ أَنْتَ فَقَالَ أَحْمَدُ إِلَيْكَ اللَّهَ . فَقَالَ عُمَرُ ذَلِكَ الَّذِي أَرَدْتُ مِنْكَ .

Malik related to me from Rabia ibn Abd ar-Rahman that az-Zubayr ibn al-Awwam bought a slave and set him free. The slave had children by a free woman. When az-Zubayr freed him, he said, "They are my mawali." The man argued, "They are the mawali of their mother. Rather, they are our mawali." They took the dispute to Uthman ibn Affan, and Uthman gave a judgement that az-Zubayr had their wala'.
حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، . أَنَّ الزُّبَيْرَ بْنَ الْعَوَّامِ، اشْتَرَى عَبْدًا فَأَعْتَقَهُ وَلِذَلِكَ الْعَبْدِ بَنُونَ مِنِ امْرَأَةٍ حُرَّةٍ فَلَمَّا أَعْتَقَهُ الزُّبَيْرُ قَالَ هُمْ مَوَالِيَّ . وَقَالَ مَوَالِي أُمِّهِمْ بَلْ هُمْ مَوَالِينَا . فَاخْتَصَمُوا إِلَى عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ فَقَضَى عُثْمَانُ لِلزُّبَيْرِ بِوَلاَئِهِمْ .

Narrated Ibn `Abbas:
The Prophet passed by a dead goat and said, "There is no harm if its owners benefit from its skin."

Narrated Anas bin Malik:
Allah's Apostle said, "When carried to his grave, a dead person is followed by three, two of which return (after his burial) and one remains with him: his relative, his property, and his deeds follow him; relatives and his property go back while his deeds remain with him."

" يَتْبَعُ الْمَيِّتَ ثَلاَثَةٌ، فَيَرْجِعُ اثْنَانِ وَيَبْقَى مَعَهُ وَاحِدٌ، يَتْبَعُهُ أَهْلُهُ وَمَالُهُ وَعَمَلُهُ، فَيَرْجِعُ أَهْلُهُ وَمَالُهُ، وَيَبْقَى عَمَلُهُ ".

" لَنْ يَزَالَ الْمُؤْمِنُ فِي فُسْحَةٍ مِنْ دِينِهِ، مَا لَمْ يُصِبْ دَمًا حَرَامًا ".
