Sunan Ibn Majah 3764
It was narrated from 'Aishah that the Prophet(SAW) looked at a man who was chasing a bird and said:
"A devil chasing a devil."

narrated from ‘Abdur-Rahman bin Sa’d bin ‘Ammar bin Sa’d, the
Mu’adhdhin, that his father narrated, from his father, that his
grandfather said:
“The Prophet (saw) used to say the Takbir between
the two sermons and he used to say the Takbir a great deal in the
sermon of ‘Eid.”

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr ibn Muhammad ibn Amr ibn Hazm that he heard that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said about the flood-channels of Mahzur and Mudhaynib (in Madina), "Dam them systematically, so that the water is diverted into each property in turn up to ankle level, starting upstream."

Qariba,
The daughter of Abi Umaiyya, was the wife of 'Umar bin Al-Khattab. 'Umar divorced her and then Mu'awiyya bin Abi Sufyan married her. Similarly, Um Al-Hakam, the daughter of Abi Sufyan was the wife of 'Iyad bin Ghanm Al-Fihri. He divorced her and then 'Abdullah bin 'Uthman Al-Thaqafi married her.
وَقَالَ عَطَاءٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، كَانَتْ قَرِيبَةُ بِنْتُ أَبِي أُمَيَّةَ عِنْدَ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ فَطَلَّقَهَا، فَتَزَوَّجَهَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، وَكَانَتْ أُمُّ الْحَكَمِ ابْنَةُ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ تَحْتَ عِيَاضِ بْنِ غَنْمٍ الْفِهْرِيِّ فَطَلَّقَهَا، فَتَزَوَّجَهَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الثَّقَفِيُّ.

"The Messenger of Allah [SAW] forbade mixing dried dates and raisins, and dried dates and Al-Busr."

Sunan an-Nasa'i 254
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that the Prophet (PBUH) performed Ghusl and a cloth was brought to him, but he did not touch it, and he started doing like this with the water. [1]

Ablution water and tooth-stick were placed by the side of the Prophet (saws). When he got up during the night (for prayer), he relieved himself, then he used the tooth-stick.

Prayer at its appointed hour. I (again) said: Then what? He (the Holy Prophet) replied: Kindness to the parents. I (again) said: Then what? He replied: Earnest endeavour (Jihad) in the cause of Allah. And I would have not ceased asking more questions but out of regard (for his feelings).

He (the Holy Prophet further) said: Should I not inform you about the gravest of the major sins, and (in this connection) observed: False utterance or false testimony. Shu'ba said. It was most probably" false testimony".

" أَنَا بَرِيءٌ مِمَّنْ حَلَقَ وَسَلَقَ وَخَرَقَ " .

" لاَ تُقْبَلُ صَلاَةٌ بِغَيْرِ طُهُورٍ وَلاَ صَدَقَةٌ مِنْ غُلُولٍ " . وَكُنْتَ عَلَى الْبَصْرَةِ .

" لاَ يَغْتَسِلُ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الْمَاءِ الدَّائِمِ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ " . فَقَالَ كَيْفَ يَفْعَلُ يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ يَتَنَاوَلُهُ تَنَاوُلاً .

" أَمَّا أَنَا فَإِنِّي أُفِيضُ عَلَى رَأْسِي ثَلاَثَ أَكُفٍّ " .

Jabir b. 'Abdullah reported:
The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) was carrying along with them (his people) stones for the Ka'ba and there was a waist wrapper around him. His uncle," Abbas, said to him: 0 son of my brother! if you take off the lower garment and place it on the shoulders underneath the stones, it would be better. He (the Holy Prophet) took it off and placed it on his shoulder and fell down unconscious. He (the narrator) said: Never was he seen naked after that day.
وَحَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّاءُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يَنْقُلُ مَعَهُمُ الْحِجَارَةَ لِلْكَعْبَةِ وَعَلَيْهِ إِزَارُهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ الْعَبَّاسُ عَمُّهُ يَا ابْنَ أَخِي لَوْ حَلَلْتَ إِزَارَكَ فَجَعَلْتَهُ عَلَى مَنْكِبِكَ دُونَ الْحِجَارَةِ - قَالَ - فَحَلَّهُ فَجَعَلَهُ عَلَى مَنْكِبِهِ فَسَقَطَ مَغْشِيًّا عَلَيْهِ - قَالَ - فَمَا رُؤِيَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ عُرْيَانًا .

She was picking lice from the head of the Messenger of Allah (saws) while the wife of Uthman ibn Affan and the immigrant women were with him. They complained about their houses that they had been narrowed down to them and they were evicted from them. The Messenger of Allah (saws) ordered that the houses of the Immigrants should be given to their wives. Thereafter Abdullah ibn Mas'ud died, and his wife inherited his house in Medina.

A man from the immigrants of the Companions of the Prophet (saws) said: I participated in battle three times along with the Prophet (saws). I heard him say: Muslims have common share in three (things). grass, water and fire.

The Prophet (saws) said: If anyone acquires knowledge that should be sought seeking the Face of Allah, but he acquires it only to get some worldly advantage, he will not experience the arf, i.e. the fragrance, of Paradise.

" مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ عِلْمًا مِمَّا يُبْتَغَى بِهِ وَجْهُ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لاَ يَتَعَلَّمُهُ إِلاَّ لِيُصِيبَ بِهِ عَرَضًا مِنَ الدُّنْيَا لَمْ يَجِدْ عَرْفَ الْجَنَّةِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " . يَعْنِي رِيحَهَا .

Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas:
The Prophet (saws) forbade that the food of two people who were rivalling on another should be eaten
Abu Dawud said: Most of those who narrated it from Jarir did not mention the name of Ibn Abbas. Harun al-Nahwi mentioned Ibn 'Abbas in it, and Hammad bin Zaid did not mention Ibn 'Abbas.

Narrated Al-Miqdam ibn Ma'dikarib:
The Prophet (saws) said: Beware, the fanged beast of prey is not lawful, nor the domestic asses, nor the find from the property of a man with whom treaty has been concluded, except that he did not need it. If anyone is a guest of people who provide no hospitality for him, he is entitled to take from them the equivalent of the hospitality due to him.

Narrated Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman:
I swear by Allah, I do not know whether my companions have forgotten or have pretended to forgot. I swear by Allah that the Messenger of Allah (saws) did not omit a leader of a wrong belief (fitnah)--up to the end of the world--whose followers reach the number of three hundred and upwards but he mentioned to us his name, his father's name and the name of his tribe.

Narrated Atiyyah as-Sa'di:
AbuWa'il al-Qass said: We entered upon Urwah ibn Muhammad ibn as-Sa'di. A man spoke to him and made him angry. So he stood and performed ablution; he then returned and performed ablution, and said: My father told me on the authority of my grandfather Atiyyah who reported the Messenger of Allah (saws) as saying: Anger comes from the devil, the devil was created of fire, and fire is extinguished only with water; so when one of you becomes angry, he should perform ablution.

" إِنَّ الْغَضَبَ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ وَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ خُلِقَ مِنَ النَّارِ وَإِنَّمَا تُطْفَأُ النَّارُ بِالْمَاءِ فَإِذَا غَضِبَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ " .

The Prophet (saws) said: O community of people, who believed by their tongue, and belief did not enter their hearts, do not back-bite Muslims, and do not search for their faults, for if anyone searches for their faults, Allah will search for his fault, and if Allah searches for the fault of anyone, He disgraces him in his house.

" يَا مَعْشَرَ مَنْ آمَنَ بِلِسَانِهِ وَلَمْ يَدْخُلِ الإِيمَانُ قَلْبَهُ لاَ تَغْتَابُوا الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَلاَ تَتَّبِعُوا عَوْرَاتِهِمْ فَإِنَّهُ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ عَوْرَاتِهِمْ يَتَّبِعِ اللَّهُ عَوْرَتَهُ وَمَنْ يَتَّبِعِ اللَّهُ عَوْرَتَهُ يَفْضَحْهُ فِي بَيْتِهِ " .

Humaid b. 'Abd al-Rahman quoted his mother as saying:
The Prophet (saws) said: He who forged in order to put things right between two persons did not lie. The version by Ahmad ibn Muhammad and Musaddad has: The liar is not the one who puts things right between people, saying what is good and increasing good.

" هَلْ مِنْكُمْ أَحَدٌ أَطْعَمَ الْيَوْمَ مِسْكِينًا " . فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ رضى الله عنه - دَخَلْتُ الْمَسْجِدَ فَإِذَا أَنَا بِسَائِلٍ يَسْأَلُ فَوَجَدْتُ كِسْرَةَ خُبْزٍ فِي يَدِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ فَأَخَذْتُهَا مِنْهُ فَدَفَعْتُهَا إِلَيْهِ .

The Messenger of Allah (SWAS) was asked about a find. He replied : Make the matter known for a year; if its owner comes, give it to him, otherwise note its string and its container and have it along with your property. If its owner comes, deliver it to him.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ طَهْمَانَ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، يَزِيدَ مَوْلَى الْمُنْبَعِثِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ رَبِيعَةَ . قَالَ وَسُئِلَ عَنِ اللُّقَطَةِ فَقَالَ
" تُعَرِّفُهَا حَوْلاً فَإِنْ جَاءَ صَاحِبُهَا دَفَعْتَهَا إِلَيْهِ وَإِلاَّ عَرَفْتَ وِكَاءَهَا وَعِفَاصَهَا ثُمَّ أَفِضْهَا فِي مَالِكَ فَإِنْ جَاءَ صَاحِبُهَا فَادْفَعْهَا إِلَيْهِ " .

The Muslims will then make for their weapons and will fight, and Allah will honor that body with martryrdom.
Abu Dawud said: But al-Walid has narrated this tradition from Dhu Mikhbar from the Prophet (saws).
Abu Dawud said: Rawh, Yahya bin Hamzah and Bishr bin Bakr has also transmitted it from al-Awza'i as mentioned by 'Isa.

" وَيَثُورُ الْمُسْلِمُونَ إِلَى أَسْلِحَتِهِمْ فَيَقْتَتِلُونَ فَيُكْرِمُ اللَّهُ تِلْكَ الْعِصَابَةَ بِالشَّهَادَةِ " . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ إِلاَّ أَنَّ الْوَلِيدَ جَعَلَ الْحَدِيثَ عَنْ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ ذِي مِخْبَرٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَرَوَاهُ رَوْحٌ وَيَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ وَبِشْرُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ كَمَا قَالَ عِيسَى .

'Abdu'r-Rahman ibn 'Awf heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless
him and grant him peace, say, "Allah, the Almighty and Exalted, said, 'I
am the Merciful (ar-Rahman). I have created ties of kinship and derives
a name for it from My Name. If anyone maintains ties of kinship, I maintain
connection with him, and I shall cut off anyone who cuts them off.'"
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَخِي، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بِلاَلٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَتِيقٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنَّ أَبَا الرَّدَّادِ اللَّيْثِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ: قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: أَنَا الرَّحْمَنُ، وَأَنَا خَلَقْتُ الرَّحِمَ، وَاشْتَقَقْتُ لَهَا مِنَ اسْمِي، فَمَنْ وَصَلَهَا وَصَلْتُهُ، وَمَنْ قَطَعَهَا بَتَتُّهُ.

Jabir ibn 'Abdullah said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah
bless him and grant him peace, say, 'If anyone has three of his children
die young and resigns them to Allah, he will enter the Garden.' We said,
'Messenger of Allah, what about two?' 'And two,' he said." Mahmud ibn Labid
said to Jabir, "By Allah, I think that if you had asked, 'And one?' he would
have given a similar answer." He said, "By Allah, I think so too."
حَدَّثَنَا عَيَّاشٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ لَبِيدٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ: مَنْ مَاتَ لَهُ ثَلاَثَةٌ مِنَ الْوَلَدِ فَاحْتَسَبَهُمْ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ، قُلْنَا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَاثْنَانِ؟ قَالَ: وَاثْنَانِ، قُلْتُ لِجَابِرٍ: وَاللَّهِ، أَرَى لَوْ قُلْتُمْ وَاحِدٌ لَقَالَ. قَالَ: وَأَنَا أَظُنُّهُ وَاللَّهِ.

Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 536
Ibn 'Abbas said, "When the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant
him peace, visited a sick person, he would sit by his head and then say
seven times, 'I ask Allah the Immense, the Lord of the Immense Throne,
to cure you.' If the time of the invalid had not yet come, he would be
cured of his pain."
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عِيسَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرٌو، عَنْ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي الْمِنْهَالُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا عَادَ الْمَرِيضَ جَلَسَ عِنْدَ رَأْسِهِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ سَبْعَ مِرَارٍ: أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ الْعَظِيمَ، رَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ، أَنْ يَشْفِيكَ، فَإِنْ كَانَ فِي أَجَلِهِ تَأْخِيرٌ عُوفِيَ مِنْ وَجَعِهِ.

Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 878
'A'isha said, "The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace,
was sleepless one night and said, 'Would that a man of righteous action
among my Companions would come and guard me tonight!' Then he heard the
sound of weapons. He asked, 'Who is it?' 'Sa'd,' came the answer. Sa'd
said, 'Messenger of Allah, I have come to guard you.' The Messenger of
Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, slept and we heard him
snore."
حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلاَلٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَامِرِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ يَقُولُ: قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ: أَرِقَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ فَقَالَ: لَيْتَ رَجُلاً صَالِحًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِي يَجِيئُنِي فَيَحْرُسَنِي اللَّيْلَةَ، إِذْ سَمِعْنَا صَوْتَ السِّلاَحِ، فَقَالَ: مَنْ هَذَا؟ قَالَ: سَعْدٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، جِئْتُ أَحْرُسُكَ، فَنَامَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم حَتَّى سَمِعْنَا غَطِيطَهُ.

Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 918
Anas ibn Malik said, "A man said, 'Messenger of Allah, we were
in a house and there were a large number of us and we had a lot of property
in it. Then we moved to another house and our numbers decreased and our
property became less in it (the new house).' The Messenger of Allah, may
Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Go back to it (the first house)
or leave it (the second house) - it is bad.'"
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ يَعْنِي أَبَا قُدَامَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَجُلٌ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّا كُنَّا فِي دَارٍ كَثُرَ فِيهَا عَدَدُنَا، وَكَثُرَ فِيهَا أَمْوَالُنَا، فَتَحَوَّلْنَا إِلَى دَارٍ أُخْرَى، فَقَلَّ فِيهَا عَدَدُنَا، وَقَلَّتْ فِيهَا أَمْوَالُنَا؟ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم: رُدَّهَا، أَوْ دَعُوهَا، وَهِيَ ذَمِيمَةٌ.
