Sunan Abi Dawud 4615
Khalid al-Hadhdha, asked al-Hasan about the Quranic verse:
“And for this did He create them.” He said: He created these for this and those for that.

Mishkat al-Masabih 3684
Abu Huraira reported God’s Messenger as saying, “You will find among the best people those who have the strongest dislike of this command till they fall into it.”*
(Bukhari and Muslim.)
*This is explained as meaning either they cease to dislike having authority and so cease to be among the best people, or they find that God helps them. Preference is given to the first explanation, but the remark is made that whichever explanation is correct, in the end these people do not object to having authority.

Mishkat al-Masabih 3709
Mu'awiya told that he heard God’s Messenger say,” When you look into people’s secrets you corrupt them.”*
Baihaqi transmitted it in Shu'ab al-iman.
* This is a prohibition of delving into other people’s affairs and disclosing things which should not be disclosed, as this makes life difficult for them. It is the same idea as in the previous tradition.

Narrated ‘Uthman (rad):
While performing Wudu, the Prophet (saw) would run (his fingers) through his beard. [Reported by At-Tirmidhi and Ibn Khuzaima graded it Sahih].

Abu Hurairah (RAA) narrated that The Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) said, “Otherwise his value will be estimated and he will be required to work to pay for his freedom, but he must not be overburdened.” Agreed upon.
And it has been said that the requirement to work was Mudraj (words of the narrator lumped into the narration).
وَلَهُمَا: عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ - رضى الله عنه - {
"وَإِلَّا قُوِّمَ عَلَيْهِ, وَاسْتُسْعِيَ غَيْرَ مَشْقُوقٍ عَلَيْهِ" } 1 . وَقِيلَ: إِنَّ اَلسِّعَايَةَ مُدْرَجَةٌ فِي اَلْخَبَر ِ 2 .

Allāhumma `abduka wabnu 'amatik
iḥtāja ilā raḥmatik,
wa anta ghaniyyun `an `adhābih,
in kāna muḥsinan fazid fī ḥasanātih,
wa in kāna musī'an fatajāwaz `anh.
O Allah, Your male slave and the child of Your female slave is in need of Your mercy,
and You are not in need of his torment.
If he was pious then increase his rewards
and if he was a transgressor then pardon him.

Mu'adh reported the Prophet as saying, “Seek refuge in God from covetousness which leads to disgrace.”
