Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 377
Abu Hurayra said, "A man came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him
and grant him peace, with a child which he began to embrace. The Prophet,
may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said. 'Do you show mercy towards
me?' 'Yes,' the man replied. He said, 'Allah is more merciful towards you
than you are towards this child. He is the Most Merciful of the merciful.;:
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ كَيْسَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَجُلٌ وَمَعَهُ صَبِيٌّ، فَجَعَلَ يَضُمُّهُ إِلَيْهِ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم: أَتَرْحَمُهُ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: فَاللَّهُ أَرْحَمُ بِكَ مِنْكَ بِهِ، وَهُوَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ.

Abu Musa reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant
him peace, said, "No one - nothing - is more patient in enduring
an injury which he hears than Allah Almighty. They claim that He has a
son, and yet He still cures them and provides for them."
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي الأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ: لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ، أَوْ لَيْسَ شَيْءٌ، أَصْبَرَ عَلَى أَذًى يَسْمَعُهُ مِنَ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، وَإِنَّهُمْ لَيَدَّعُونَ لَهُ وَلَدًا، وَإِنَّهُ لَيُعَافِيهِمْ وَيَرْزُقُهُمْ.

Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and
grant him peace, said, "None of you will be saved by his actions?" "Not
even you, Messenger of Allah?" they asked. "Not even me," he replied, "unless
Allah covers me with mercy from Him. But act correctly and wisely and worship
in the morning and evening and during part of the night. Keep to a middle
path and you will arrive."
حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم: لَنْ يُنَجِّي أَحَدًا مِنْكُمْ عَمَلٌ، قَالُوا: وَلاَ أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، قَالَ: وَلاَ أَنَا، إِلاَّ أَنْ يَتَغَمَّدَنِي اللَّهُ مِنْهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ، فَسَدِّدُوا وَقَارِبُوا وَاغْدُوا وَرُوحُوا، وَشَيْءٌ مِنَ الدُّلْجَةِ، وَالْقَصْدَ الْقَصْدَ تَبْلُغُوا.

Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and
grant him peace, said, "Beware of injustice. Injustice will appear as darkness
on the Day of Rising. Beware of coarseness. Allah does not love those who
are coarse and foul mouthed. Beware of avarice for it destroyed those before
you. They cut off their relatives. Allah summoned them and they made lawful
what was unlawful."
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلاَنَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ: إِيَّاكُمْ وَالظُّلْمَ، فَإِنَّ الظُّلْمَ ظُلُمَاتٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، وَإِيَّاكُمْ وَالْفُحْشَ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لاَ يُحِبُّ الْفَاحِشَ الْمُتَفَحِّشَ، وَإِيَّاكُمْ وَالشُّحَّ، فَإِنَّهُ دَعَا مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْ فَقَطَعُوا أَرْحَامَهُمْ، وَدَعَاهُمْ فَاسْتَحَلُّوا مَحَارِمَهُمْ.

Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless
him and grant him peace, said, "Our Lord, the Blessed and Exalted, descends
to the lowest heaven every night when a third of the night remains. He
says, 'Who is calling on Me so that I can answer him? Who is asking Me
for something so that I can give to him? "Who is asking Me for forgiveness
so that I can forgive him?'"
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ الأَغَرِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ: يَنْزِلُ رَبُّنَا تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى فِي كُلِّ لَيْلَةٍ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا، حِينَ يَبْقَى ثُلُثُ اللَّيْلِ الْآخَرُ، فَيَقُولُ: مَنْ يَدْعُونِي فَأَسْتَجِيبَ لَهُ؟ مَنْ يَسْأَلُنِي فَأُعْطِيَهُ؟ مَنْ يَسْتَغْفِرُنِي فَأَغْفِرَ لَهُ؟.

“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was asked: “What will serve as a screen (sutrah) for one who is praying?” He said: `Something the height of the back of a saddle.”

Mishkat al-Masabih 2784
Abu Bakr b. Aba Maryam said that Miqdam b. Ma'dikarib had a slave girl who sold milk the price of which was taken by Miqdam. Some people said, “Glory be to God! Do you sell milk and accept what is paid for it?” He replied that he did, and asked what harm there was in that, for he had heard God’s Messenger say, “A time is certainly coming to mankind when only the dinar and the dirham will be of use.”
Ahmad transmitted it.
وَعَن أبي بكرِ بنِ أبي مريمَ قَالَ: كَانَتْ لِمِقْدَامِ بْنِ مَعْدِي كَرِبَ جَارِيَةٌ تَبِيعُ اللَّبَنَ وَيَقْبِضُ الْمِقْدَامُ ثَمَنَهُ فَقِيلَ لَهُ: سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ أَتَبِيعُ اللَّبَنَ؟ وَتَقْبِضُ الثَّمَنَ؟ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ وَمَا بَأْسٌ بِذَلِكَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «لَيَأْتِيَنَّ عَلَى النَّاسِ زَمَانٌ لَا يَنْفَعُ فِيهِ إِلَّا الدِّينَارُ وَالدِّرْهَم» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمد

Mishkat al-Masabih 3503
Muhammad b. ‘Amr, on the authority of Abu Salama, said Abu Huraira told that God’s Messenger gave judgment that a male or female slave of the best quality, or a horse, or a mule should be paid for a miscarriage.
Abu Dawud transmitted it, saying this tradition is transmitted by Hammad b. Salama and Khalid al-Wasiti on the authority of Muhammad b. ‘Amr, but he did not mention “or a horse or a mule.”

The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: When one of you places in front of him so me. thing such as the back of a saddle, he should pray without caring who passes on the other side of it.

I saw the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) praying in a single garment with its ends crossing each other. 'Isa b. Hammad added:" placing on his shoulders".

Hudhaifa reported:
The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: We have been made to excel (other) people in three (things): Our rows have been made like the rows of the angels and the whole earth has been made a mosque for us, and its dust has been made a purifier for us in case water is not available. And he mentioned another characteristic too
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الأَشْجَعِيِّ، عَنْ رِبْعِيٍّ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" فُضِّلْنَا عَلَى النَّاسِ بِثَلاَثٍ جُعِلَتْ صُفُوفُنَا كَصُفُوفِ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ وَجُعِلَتْ لَنَا الأَرْضُ كُلُّهَا مَسْجِدًا وَجُعِلَتْ تُرْبَتُهَا لَنَا طَهُورًا إِذَا لَمْ نَجِدِ الْمَاءَ " . وَذَكَرَ خَصْلَةً أُخْرَى .

Jabir reported:
The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) forbade eating of onions and leek. When we were overpowered by a desire (to eat) we ate them. Upon this he (the Holy Prophet) said: He who eats of this offensive plant must not approach our mosque, for the angels are harmed by the same things as men.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا كَثِيرُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ الدَّسْتَوَائِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْ أَكْلِ الْبَصَلِ وَالْكُرَّاثِ . فَغَلَبَتْنَا الْحَاجَةُ فَأَكَلْنَا مِنْهَا فَقَالَ
" مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ الْمُنْتِنَةِ فَلاَ يَقْرَبَنَّ مَسْجِدَنَا فَإِنَّ الْمَلاَئِكَةَ تَأَذَّى مِمَّا يَتَأَذَّى مِنْهُ الإِنْسُ " .

The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: When any one of you stands up to pray, the devil comes to him and confuses him to that he does not know how much he has prayed. If any one of you has such an experience he should perform two prostrations while sitting down (in qa'da).

" إِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ إِذَا قَامَ يُصَلِّي جَاءَهُ الشَّيْطَانُ فَلَبَسَ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى لاَ يَدْرِي كَمْ صَلَّى فَإِذَا وَجَدَ ذَلِكَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَسْجُدْ سَجْدَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ " .

Abu Dharr reported:
(The Messenger of Allah) said: How would you, or how would thou, act if you survive to live among people who defer prayer beyond the (prescribed) time? (The narrator said: Allah and His Messenger know best). whereupon he said: Observe prayer at its prescribed time, but if the Iqama is pronounced for (congregational) prayer, then observe prayer along with them. for herein is an excess of virtue.
وَحَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ التَّيْمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي نَعَامَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، قَالَ قَالَ
" كَيْفَ أَنْتُمْ - أَوْ قَالَ كَيْفَ أَنْتَ - إِذَا بَقِيتَ فِي قَوْمٍ يُؤَخِّرُونَ الصَّلاَةَ عَنْ وَقْتِهَا فَصَلِّ الصَّلاَةَ لِوَقْتِهَا ثُمَّ إِنْ أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلاَةُ فَصَلِّ مَعَهُمْ فَإِنَّهَا زِيَادَةُ خَيْرٍ " .

Abu Salama b. 'Abd al-Rahman is reported to have said that he had heard Abu Huraira saying:
I would say prayer along with you which is near to the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him). and Abu Huraira recited Qunut in the noon and in the 'Isya' and in the morning prayer, and invoked blessing (of Allah) upon Muslims-and curse upon the unbelievers.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ وَاللَّهِ لأُقَرِّبَنَّ بِكُمْ صَلاَةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم . فَكَانَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ يَقْنُتُ فِي الظُّهْرِ وَالْعِشَاءِ الآخِرَةِ وَصَلاَةِ الصُّبْحِ وَيَدْعُو لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَيَلْعَنُ الْكُفَّارَ .

Sahih Muslim 850 d
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying:
There is an angel on every door of the mosque recording him first who (comes) first (to the mosque for Friday prayer). And he [the Prophet] likened him to one who offers a camel as a sacrifice and then he went on in the descending order till he reached the point at which the minimum (sacrifice) is that of an egg. And when the Imam sits (on the pulpit) the sheets are folded and they (the angels) attend to the mention of Allah.

I inquired from the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) saying: Messenger of Allah, there has come to me my mother and she is inclined; should I (in this state of her mind) show her kindness? He said: Yes, treat her kindly.

It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah that:
The Prophet said: "Do not seek knowledge in order to show off in front of the scholars, or to argue with the foolish, and do not choose the best seat in a gathering, due to it (i.e. the knowledge which you have learned) for whoever does that, the Fire, the Fire (awaits him)."

It was narrated from 'Aishah that:
A woman asked her: "Does a woman who menstruates have to make up for the prayers she misses?" 'Aisha said to her: "Are you a Haruriyyah? We used to menstruate with the Prophet and then become pure, and he did not tell us to make up for the prayers we missed."

The Messenger of Allah said: "When the Iqamah is called for the prayer, do not come running. Come walking with tranquility. Whatever you catch up with, pray, and whatever you miss, complete it."

Sunan Ibn Majah 3847
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that :
the Messenger of Allah (saas) said to a man: "What do you say during your prayer?" He said: "I recite the Tashah-hud then I ask for Allah for Paradise and see refuge with Him from Hell, but by Allah I do not understand your whispering or the whispering of Mu'adh." He said: "It is concerning them (Paradise and Hell) that we are whispering."

It was narrated from Qais bin Tihfah Al-Ghifari that his father said:
"The Messenger of Allah(SAW) found me sleeping in the masjid on my stomach. He nudged me with his foot and said: 'Why are you sleeping like this? This is a kind of sleep that Allah dislikes,' or 'that Allah hates.'"

" مَا لَكَ وَلِهَذَا النَّوْمِ هَذِهِ نَوْمَةٌ يَكْرَهُهَا اللَّهُ أَوْ يُبْغِضُهَا اللَّهُ " .

'The Prophet delivered a sermon then he made mention of women, and exhorted (the men) concerning them. Then he said: 'How long will one of you whip his wife like a slave, then lie with her at the end of the day?'

Sunan Ibn Majah 2239
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Prophet (SAW) said:
"O Allah, bless my nation in their early mornings.". It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (SAW) said: "Whoever buys a Musarrah, he has the choice (of annulling the deal) for three days. If he returns it, then he must also give a Sa' of dates, not Samra'." Meaning wheat.

" مَنِ ابْتَاعَ مُصَرَّاةً فَهُوَ بِالْخِيَارِ ثَلاَثَةَ أَيَّامٍ فَإِنْ رَدَّهَا رَدَّ مَعَهَا صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ لاَ سَمْرَاءَ " . يَعْنِي الْحِنْطَةَ .

It was narrated from Hudhaifah bin Yaman that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said:
“Whoever sells a house and does not use the money for something similar, will not to be blessed therein.' ”

Sunan Ibn Majah 2514
It was narrated from Ibn`Umar that the Prophet (SAW) said:
“The Mudabbar is part of the one third of the estate.”
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ ظَبْيَانَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " الْمُدَبَّرُ مِنَ الثُّلُثِ " . قَالَ ابْنُ مَاجَهْ سَمِعْتُ عُثْمَانَ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ - يَقُولُ هَذَا خَطَأٌ يَعْنِي حَدِيثَ " الْمُدَبَّرُ مِنَ الثُّلُثِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ لَيْسَ لَهُ أَصْلٌ .

Sunan Ibn Majah 2531
It was narrated from Maimunah bint Sa`d, the freed slave woman of the Prophet (SAW) that :
the Messenger of Allah (SAW) was asked about illegitimate children. He said: “Two sandals in which I wage Jihad are better than freeing an illegitimate child.”

It was narrated that Tariq Al-Muharibi said:
“I saw the Messenger of Allah (SAW) raising his hands until I saw the whiteness of his armpits, saying: 'No child should be punished because of his mother's crime, no child should be punished because of his mother's crime.”

It was
narrated that ‘Ikrimah said:
“I entered upon Abu Hurairah in
his
house and asked him about fasting the Day of ‘Arafah at ‘Arafat.
Abu Hurairah said: ‘The Messenger of Allah (saw) forbade fasting
the
Day of ‘Arafah at ‘Arafat.’”

narrated that ‘Aishah said:
“Hamzah Al-Aslami asked the
Messenger
of Allah (saw): ‘I am fasting, should I fast while
traveling?’
The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: ‘If you wish, then
fast, and if
you wish, then break your fast.’”

Sunan Ibn Majah 3138
It was
narrated from ‘Uqbah bin ‘Amir Al-Juhani that the Messenger of
Allah (saw) gave him some sheep, and he distributed them among his
Companions to be sacrificed. There remained an ‘Atud.* He mentioned
that to the Messenger of Allah (saw) and he said:
“You sacrifice it
yourself.”

" ضَحِّ بِهِ أَنْتَ " .

‘Ali

commanded
him to distribute the entire sacrificial camel – its meat,
skin and
covers – among the poor.

with two rabbits hanging down. He said:
“O Messenger of

caught these two rabbits but I cannot find any iron* with
which to
slaughter them with Marwah** and eat them?” He said: “Eat.”

know.”

narrated from Asma’ bint Abu Bakr that a woman suffering from
fever
would be brought to her, and she would call for water and pour

onto the neck of her garment. She said:
The Prophet (saw) said:
“Cool
it down with water,” and he said: “It is from the heat of
Hell-fire.”

not give up something that we used to do at the time of the Messenger

Sunan Ibn Majah 2984
It was
narrated from Harith bin Bilal bin Harith, that his father
said:
“I
said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, do you think that this
cancellation of
Hajj and it being replaced with ‘Umrah is only for us,
or for all
people?’ The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: ‘No, it is only
for
us.’”

“Faith will retreat to Al-Madinah as a snake retreats to its
hole.”

It was
narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said, narrating from his mother (one

the narrators) Abu Bakr bin Abu Shaibah said:
“(She was) Lubabah”
that she heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) reciting ‘By the winds
sent forth one after another...’[Al-Mursalat (77)] in the Maghrib.

narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (saw)
said:
“When the reciter says Amin, then say Amin, for the angels say
Amin,
and if a person’s Amin coincides with the Amin of the angels,
his
previous sins will be forgiven.”

It was
narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said:
“When praying at night
(Qiyamul-Lail), the Messenger of Allah (saw) used to say between the
two prostrations: ‘Rabbighfir li warhamni wajburni warzuqni
warfa’ni
(O Lord, forgive me, have mercy on me, improve my
situation, grant me
provision and raise me in status).’”

It was
narrated that Abu Hurairah said:
“The Messenger of Allah (saw)
said
to a man: ‘What do you say during your Salat?’ He said: ‘The
Tashah-hud, then I ask Allah for Paradise, and I seek refuge with Him
from Hell, but I do not understand what you and Mu’adh murmur
(during
Salat). He said: ‘Our murmuring revolves around the same
things.’”

It was
narrated that Abu Mas’ud Al-Ansari said:
“The Messenger of
Allah
(saw) used to gently pat our shoulders (to make sure the row was
straight) at the time of prayer, saying: ‘Keep (the rows) straight,
do
not differ from one another lest your hearts should suffer from
discord. Let those who are forbearing and wise stand closest to me,
then those who are next to them, then those who are next to them.’”

Sunan Ibn Majah 1277
‘Abdur-Rahman bin Sa’d bin ‘Ammar bin Sa’d, the Mu’adhdhin
of the
Messenger of Allah (saw), narrated from his father, from his
father,
from his grandfather, that the Messenger of Allah (saw) used
to say
the Takbir in the ‘Eid prayer, seven times in the first
(Rak’ah)
before reciting Qur’an, and five times in the second
before reciting
Qur’an.

narrated that Abu Sa’eed and Abu Hurairah said that the

(saw) said:
‘When a man wakes up at night and wakes his wife,
and
they pray two Rak’ah, they will be recorded among the men and
women
who remember Allah much.”

narrated from Abu Sa’eed and ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr bin ‘As that
the Messenger of Allah (saw) said:
“Do not prepare a mount (travel)
to
visit any mosque except three: the Sacred Mosque, Aqsa Mosque, and
this mosque of mine.”

narrated that Abu Hurairah said:
“The Messenger of Allah (saw)

to pray until his feet became swollen. It was said: ‘O Messenger
of
Allah, Allah has forgiven you your past and future sins.’ He said:
‘Should I not be a thankful slave?’”

Sunan Ibn Majah 1625
It was
narrated from Umm Salamah that the Messenger of Allah (SAW)
used to
say, during the illness that would be his last:
“The prayer,
and
those whom your hands possess.”* And he kept on saying it until
his
tongue could no longer utter any words.

" الصَّلاَةَ وَمَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ " . فَمَا زَالَ يَقُولُهَا حَتَّى مَا يَفِيضَ بِهَا لِسَانُهُ .

It was narrated from Abu Sa’eed that the Messenger of Allah (saw)
said:
“No morning comes but two angels call out: ‘Woe to men from
women, and woe to women from men.’”

Sunan Ibn Majah 4000
It was narrated from Abu Sa’eed that the Messenger of Allah (saw)
stood up to deliver a sermon and one of the things that he said was:
“This world is fresh and sweet, and Allah will make your successive
generations therein, so look at what you do and beware of (the
temptations of) this world and beware of (the temptations of) women.”

" إِنَّ الدُّنْيَا خَضِرَةٌ حُلْوَةٌ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ مُسْتَخْلِفُكُمْ فِيهَا فَنَاظِرٌ كَيْفَ تَعْمَلُونَ أَلاَ فَاتَّقُوا الدُّنْيَا وَاتَّقُوا النِّسَاءَ " .

narrated that ‘Aishah said:
“We, the family of Muhammad (saw),
would stay for a month during which no fire would be lit (for
cooking)
and we had only dates and water.”

‘What most admits people to Paradise?’ He said: ‘Piety and good
manners.’ And he was asked: ‘What most leads people to Hell?’
He said:
‘The two hollow ones: The mouth and the private part.’”

“The wise man is the one who takes account of

and strives for that which is after death. And the helpless
man is
the one who follows his own whims then indulges in wishful
thinking
about Allah.”

“Whoever asks for Paradise, three times, Paradise will say: “O

Hell, three times, Hell will say: “O Allah, save him from Hell.”

We heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: “I am not to be inherited from.`

“Shall I not tell you of something that is better for you than that? Say Subhanallah thirty-three times, Allahu Akbar thirty-three times and Alhamdulillah thirty-three times; one of them thirty-four times.`

Malik related to me from his paternal uncle, Abu Suhayl ibn Malik, that his father heard Uthman ibn Affan say in a khutba, "Do not oblige the slave-girl to earn money unless she has a skill. When you oblige her to do that, she will earn money by prostitution. Do not oblige the child to earn money. If he does not find it, he will steal. Have integrity since Allah has integrity with you, and you must feed them good food."
وَحَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ أَبِي سُهَيْلِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ، وَهُوَ يَخْطُبُ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ لاَ تُكَلِّفُوا الأَمَةَ غَيْرَ ذَاتِ الصَّنْعَةِ الْكَسْبَ فَإِنَّكُمْ مَتَى كَلَّفْتُمُوهَا ذَلِكَ كَسَبَتْ بِفَرْجِهَا وَلاَ تُكَلِّفُوا الصَّغِيرَ الْكَسْبَ فَإِنَّهُ إِذَا لَمْ يَجِدْ سَرَقَ وَعِفُّوا إِذْ أَعَفَّكُمُ اللَّهُ وَعَلَيْكُمْ مِنَ الْمَطَاعِمِ بِمَا طَابَ مِنْهَا .

Allah's Apostle forbade two types of dresses: (A) To sit in an Ihtiba' posture in one garment nothing of which covers his private parts. (B) to cover one side of his body with one garment and leave the other side bare The Prophet also forbade the Mulamasa and Munabadha.

Narrated Sa`d:
A man peeped into the house of the Prophet through a hole while the Prophet was scratching his head with a Midrai (a certain kind of comb). On that the Prophet said (to him), "If I had known you had been looking, then I would have pierced your eye with that instrument, because the asking of permission has been ordained so that one would not see things unlawfully."

The Prophet said, "A good dream is from Allah, and a bad dream is from Satan. So whoever has seen (in a dream) something he dislikes, then he should spit without saliva, thrice on his left and seek refuge with Allah from Satan, for it will not harm him, and Satan cannot appear in my shape."

Riyad as-Salihin 1886
Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
The Prophet (PBUH) said, "There is a tree in Jannah that is so huge that if a rider of a swift horse has to cover its distance from one end to another in one hundred years, he will not be able to do so."
Another narration from Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) is: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "A rider will not be able to cross its (the tree's) shade even after travelling for one hundred years."

وروياه في "الصحيحين" أيضاً من رواية أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: "يسير الراكب في سورة في ظلها سنة ما يقطعها".

It was narrated from Al-Qasim who narrated from 'Abdullah-he is Ibn Abdullah bin 'Umar- that:
His father (Ibn 'Umar) said: "One of the sunnahs of the prayer is to hold the right foot upright and point its toes toward the Qiblah, and to sit on the left foot."

"The Messenger of Allah (SAW) was asked about witr and he said: 'Pray witr before dawn (Subh).'"

Allah's Apostle said, "Allah guarantees to the person who carries out Jihad for His Cause and nothing compelled him to go out but the Jihad in His Cause, and belief in His Words, that He will either admit him into Paradise or return him with his reward or the booty he has earned to his residence from where he went out."
