‘Amr b. Shu'aib, on his father's authority, said that his grandfather declared he had seen God’s Messenger praying both barefoot and wearing sandals.

He reported God’s Messenger as saying, “The fingers and toes are equal,1 the teeth are equal, the front tooth and the molar tooth are equal, this and that are equal.”2
Abu Dawud transmitted it.
1. In this tradition only al-asabi' is given, whereas the asabi of the hands and the feet are specified in the preceding. It must obviously mean both fingers and toes here.
2. It has been suggested that "this and that” refers only to the little finger and the thumb (cf. the first tradition in the chapter), but it may here refer to the front tooth and the molar tooth mentioned immediately before it.

* To drink as much as a faraq (see p. 577) would be almost impossible, so the point of the tradition is to forbid anything which might in any conceivable circumstances cause intoxication.

The two Sulami sons of Busr* told that when God’s messenger came in to visit them they offered him butter and dates, for he liked butter and dates.
*These are said to have been 'Abdallah and'Atlya. But each is called Mizini. Ibn Abd al-Barr, Ist'iab, p. 67, mentions Busr as-Sulami, saying he is also called al-Mazini. Tahdhib, v, 158 calls ‘Abdallah al-Mazini al-Qaisi and vii, 223 calls 'Atiya al-Mazini al-Hilali.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَفْصِ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ: كَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يَسْتَأْذِنُ فِي ظُلَّةِ الْبَزَّازِ.

Bilal bin Al-Harith (RAA) narrated that The Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) took Zakah from the mines of Qabaliyah.
وَعَنْ بِلَالِ بْنِ اَلْحَارِثِ - رضى الله عنه - { أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -أَخَذَ مِنَ اَلْمَعَادِنِ اَلْقَبَلِيَّةِ اَلصَّدَقَةَ. } رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد َ 1 .

'Aishah (RAA) narrated that Allah's Messenger (PBUH) said, "Forgive the people with high moral values when they slip but not what calls for the infliction of Hudud." Related by Ahmad, Abu Dawud, An-Nasa'i and Al-Baihaqi.
وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهَا أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالَ: {
" أَقِيلُوا ذَوِي اَلْهَيْئَاتِ عَثَرَاتِهِمْ إِلَّا اَلْحُدُودَ" } رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ, وَالنَّسَائِيُّ 1 .
