Sunan Abi Dawud 2560
Narrated Samurah ibn Jundub:
The Prophet (saws) named our cavalry "the Cavalry of Allah," when we were struck with panic, and when panic overtook us, the Messenger of Allah (saws) commanded us to be united, to have patience and perseverance; and to be so when we fought.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ، حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى أَبُو دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سَعْدِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي خُبَيْبُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ، أَمَّا بَعْدُ فَإِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم سَمَّى خَيْلَنَا خَيْلَ اللَّهِ إِذَا فَزِعْنَا وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَأْمُرُنَا إِذَا فَزِعْنَا بِالْجَمَاعَةِ وَالصَّبْرِ وَالسَّكِينَةِ وَإِذَا قَاتَلْنَا .

Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas:
The Jews came to the Prophet (saws) and said: We eat which we kill but we do not eat which Allah kills? So Allah revealed: "Eat not of (meats) on which Allah's name hath not been pronounced." to the end of the verse.
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ جَاءَتِ الْيَهُودُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالُوا نَأْكُلُ مِمَّا قَتَلْنَا وَلاَ نَأْكُلُ مِمَّا قَتَلَ اللَّهُ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ { وَلاَ تَأْكُلُوا مِمَّا لَمْ يُذْكَرِ اسْمُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ } إِلَى آخِرِ الآيَةِ .

" مَنْ عَادَ مَرِيضًا لَمْ يَحْضُرْ أَجَلُهُ فَقَالَ عِنْدَهُ سَبْعَ مِرَارٍ أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ الْعَظِيمَ رَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ أَنْ يَشْفِيَكَ إِلاَّ عَافَاهُ اللَّهُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ الْمَرَضِ " .

Narrated Anas ibn Malik:
A man said: Messenger of Allah! we were in an abode in which our numbers and our goods were many and changed to an abode in which our numbers and our goods became few. The Messenger of Allah (saws) said: Leave it, for it is reprehensible.
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا كُنَّا فِي دَارٍ كَثِيرٌ فِيهَا عَدَدُنَا وَكَثِيرٌ فِيهَا أَمْوَالُنَا فَتَحَوَّلْنَا إِلَى دَارٍ أُخْرَى فَقَلَّ فِيهَا عَدَدُنَا وَقَلَّتْ فِيهَا أَمْوَالُنَا . فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" ذَرُوهَا ذَمِيمَةً " .

Anas b. malik said:
The prophet of Allah (saws) ascended Uhud, and Abu Bakr, ’Umar and 'Uthman followed him. It began to shake with them. The prophet of Allah (saws) struck it with his foot and said: Be still, for only a prophet, an ever-truthful and two martyrs are on you.

" اثْبُتْ أُحُدُ نَبِيٌّ وَصِدِّيقٌ وَشَهِيدَانِ " .

Umm Kulthum, the daughter of 'Uqba ibn Abi Mu'ayt, reported that

relates something good is not a liar."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي حُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنَّ أُمَّهَ أُمَّ كُلْثُومِ ابْنَةَ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ أَبِي مُعَيْطٍ أَخْبَرَتْهُ، أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ: لَيْسَ الْكَذَّابُ الَّذِي يُصْلِحُ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ، فَيَقُولُ خَيْرًا، أَوْ يَنْمِي خَيْرًا، قَالَتْ: وَلَمْ أَسْمَعْهُ يُرَخِّصُ فِي شَيْءٍ مِمَّا يَقُولُ النَّاسُ مِنَ الْكَذِبِ إِلاَّ فِي ثَلاَثٍ: الإِصْلاَحِ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ، وَحَدِيثِ الرَّجُلِ امْرَأَتَهُ، وَحَدِيثِ الْمَرْأَةِ زَوْجَهَا.

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ حَسَّانَ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَتْنِي جَدَّتَايَ صَفِيَّةُ بِنْتُ عُلَيْبَةَ، وَدُحَيْبَةُ بِنْتُ عُلَيْبَةَ، وَكَانَتَا رَبِيبَتَيْ قَيْلَةَ، أَنَّهُمَا أَخْبَرَتْهُمَا قَيْلَةُ قَالَتْ: رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَاعِدًا الْقُرْفُصَاءَ، فَلَمَّا رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ الْمُتَخَشِّعَ فِي الْجِلْسَةِ أُرْعِدْتُ مِنَ الْفَرَقِ.

Abu'l-Malih reported from one of his people (who was a Companion)
that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "When

حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ قَوْمِهِ، وَكَانَتْ لَهُ صُحْبَةٌ، قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم: إِذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ قَبْضَ عَبْدٍ بِأَرْضٍ جَعَلَ لَهُ بِهَا حَاجَةً.

At-Tirmidhi reported a similar tradition on the authority of `Abu Hurairah (RAA), he said at its end, “And increase my knowledge. Praise be to Allah in all circumstances. I seek refuge in Allah from the state of those who will go to Hell.” Its chain of narrators is good.

" شَغَلُونَا عَنْ صَلاَةِ الْوُسْطَى حَتَّى آبَتِ الشَّمْسُ مَلأَ اللَّهُ قُبُورَهُمْ نَارًا أَوْ بُيُوتَهُمْ أَوْ بُطُونَهُمْ " . شَكَّ شُعْبَةُ فِي الْبُيُوتِ وَالْبُطُونِ .

Maimuna, the wife of the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him), reported:
The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said prayer while I was by his side, and at times when he prostrated his cloth touched me, and he prayed on a small mat.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى التَّمِيمِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ الْعَوَّامِ، كِلاَهُمَا عَنِ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَتْنِي مَيْمُونَةُ، زَوْجُ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُصَلِّي وَأَنَا حِذَاءَهُ وَرُبَّمَا أَصَابَنِي ثَوْبُهُ إِذَا سَجَدَ وَكَانَ يُصَلِّي عَلَى خُمْرَةٍ .

The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) observed Qunut for a month in the dawn prayer after ruku' and invoked curse upon Ri'l, Dhakwan, and said that 'Usayya had disobeyed Allah and His Apostle (may peace be upon him).
وَحَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ، وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى - وَاللَّفْظُ لاِبْنِ مُعَاذٍ - حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي مِجْلَزٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَنَتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم شَهْرًا بَعْدَ الرُّكُوعِ فِي صَلاَةِ الصُّبْحِ يَدْعُو عَلَى رِعْلٍ وَذَكْوَانَ وَيَقُولُ
" عُصَيَّةُ عَصَتِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ " .

Abu Huraira reported that the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) said. it is the right of Allah upon every Muslim that he should take a bath (at least) on one day (Friday) during the seven days (of the week) and he should wash his head and body.

Abu Mas'ud reported that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said:
Verily the sun and the moon do not eclipse on account of the death of any one of the people, but they are the two signs among the signs of Allah. So when you see it, stand up and observe prayer.

" إِنَّ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ لَيْسَ يَنْكَسِفَانِ لِمَوْتِ أَحَدٍ مِنَ النَّاسِ وَلَكِنَّهُمَا آيَتَانِ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمُوهُ فَقُومُوا فَصَلُّوا " .

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying that Allah, the Most Blessed and High, said:
O son of Adam, spend. I will spend on you. The right hand of Allah is full and overflowing and in nothing would diminish it, by overspending day and night.
حَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " قَالَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ أَنْفِقْ أُنْفِقْ عَلَيْكَ " . وَقَالَ " يَمِينُ اللَّهِ مَلأَى - وَقَالَ ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ مَلآنُ - سَحَّاءُ لاَ يَغِيضُهَا شَىْءٌ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ " .

He who observes fast for a day in the way of Allah He would remove his face from the Hell to the extent of seventy years' distance.

" مَنْ صَامَ يَوْمًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بَاعَدَ اللَّهُ وَجْهَهُ عَنِ النَّارِ سَبْعِينَ خَرِيفًا " .

Sunan Ibn Majah 92
It was narrated that Jabir bin 'Abdullah said:
"The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: 'The Magicians of this Ummah are those who deny the decrees of Allah. If they fall sick, do not visit them; if they die, do not attend their funerals; and if you meet them, do not greet them with Salam.'"
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُصَفَّى الْحِمْصِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ
" إِنَّ مَجُوسَ هَذِهِ الأُمَّةِ الْمُكَذِّبُونَ بِأَقْدَارِ اللَّهِ إِنْ مَرِضُوا فَلاَ تَعُودُوهُمْ وَإِنْ مَاتُوا فَلاَ تَشْهَدُوهُمْ وَإِنْ لَقِيتُمُوهُمْ فَلاَ تُسَلِّمُوا عَلَيْهِمْ " .

It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin 'Abbas that :
the Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever persists in asking for forgiveness, Allah will grant him relief from every worry, and a way out from every hardship, and will grant him provision from (sources) he could never imagine."

" مَنْ لَزِمَ الاِسْتِغْفَارَ جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لَهُ مِنْ كُلِّ هَمٍّ فَرَجًا وَمِنْ كُلِّ ضِيقٍ مَخْرَجًا وَرَزَقَهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لاَ يَحْتَسِبُ " .

It was narrated that:
Zainab, the wife of Abdullah said: “I asked the Messenger of Allah: 'Will it be accepted as charity on my part if I spend on my husband and the orphans in my care?' The Messenger of Allah said: 'She will have two rewards, the reward for charity and the reward for upholding ties of kinship.'”

" لَهَا أَجْرَانِ أَجْرُ الصَّدَقَةِ وَأَجْرُ الْقَرَابَةِ " .

Sunan Ibn Majah 3138
It was
narrated from ‘Uqbah bin ‘Amir Al-Juhani that the Messenger of
Allah (saw) gave him some sheep, and he distributed them among his
Companions to be sacrificed. There remained an ‘Atud.* He mentioned
that to the Messenger of Allah (saw) and he said:
“You sacrifice it
yourself.”
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ أَعْطَاهُ غَنَمًا فَقَسَمَهَا عَلَى أَصْحَابِهِ ضَحَايَا فَبَقِيَ عَتُودٌ فَذَكَرَهُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَقَالَ
" ضَحِّ بِهِ أَنْتَ " .

It was
narrated from ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr that a man asked the
Messenger
of Allah (saw):
“O Messenger of Allah, which (aspect) of
Islam is
the best?” He said: “Offering food (to the needy) and
greeting
with Salam those whom you know and those whom you do not
know.”
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، . أَنَّ رَجُلاً، سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَىُّ الإِسْلاَمِ خَيْرٌ قَالَ
" تُطْعِمُ الطَّعَامَ وَتَقْرَأُ السَّلاَمَ عَلَى مَنْ عَرَفْتَ وَمَنْ لَمْ تَعْرِفْ " .

Sunan Ibn Majah 3308
‘Abdullah bin Ja’far told Ibn Zubair, who had slaughtered a camel
for
them, that he heard the Messenger of Allah (saw), and he
(‘Abdullah)
said:
“Some people were bringing meat to the
Messenger of Allah (saw)
and he said: ‘The best meat is the meat of
the back.’”
حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ أَبُو بِشْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ مِسْعَرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي شَيْخٌ، مِنْ فَهْمٍ - قَالَ وَأَظُنُّهُ يُسَمَّى مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ - أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ جَعْفَرٍ يُحَدِّثُ ابْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ وَقَدْ نَحَرَ لَهُمْ جَزُورًا أَوْ بَعِيرًا أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ - قَالَ وَالْقَوْمُ يُلْقُونَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ اللَّحْمَ - يَقُولُ
" أَطْيَبُ اللَّحْمِ لَحْمُ الظَّهْرِ " .

It was
narrated that a young man of Quriash passed by Abu Hurairah
with his
cloak dragging. He said:
“O my nephew! I heard the Messenger
of
Allah (saw) saying ‘Whoever let his garment drag out of pride,
Allah will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection.’”

" مَنْ جَرَّ ثَوْبَهُ مِنَ الْخُيَلاَءِ لَمْ يَنْظُرِ اللَّهُ له يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .

cancellation of
Hajj and it being replaced with ‘Umrah is only for us,
or for all
people?’ The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: ‘No, it is only
for
us.’”

" بَلْ لَنَا خَاصَّةً " .

quickly, and if I walk that is because I saw the Messenger of Allah
(saw) walking, even though I am an old man.”

“The Messenger of Allah (saw)
said: ‘When you call upon Allah, then do so with the palms of your
hands (upwards). Do not do so with the back of your hands (upwards).
And when you finish, then wipe your face with them.’”

“If anyone of you sees a dream that he dislikes, let him turn

and spit dryly to his left three times, and ask Allah for its
good
and seek refuge from its evil.”

have been commanded to fight the people until they say: La ilaha
illallah. If they say: La ilaha illallah, then their blood and wealth
are protected from me, except for a right that is due from it, and
their reckoning will be with Allah.”

“If the son of Adam had two valleys of wealth, he would love to
have a third along with them. Nothing could satisfy him except dust.
And Allah accepts the repentance of the one who repents.”

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَخِي، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ أَبِي مُزَرِّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْحُبَابِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" مَا مِنْ يَوْمٍ يُصْبِحُ الْعِبَادُ فِيهِ إِلاَّ مَلَكَانِ يَنْزِلاَنِ فَيَقُولُ أَحَدُهُمَا اللَّهُمَّ أَعْطِ مُنْفِقًا خَلَفًا، وَيَقُولُ الآخَرُ اللَّهُمَّ أَعْطِ مُمْسِكًا تَلَفًا ".

Sunan an-Nasa'i 2612
It was narrated from Ihn Abi Rafi, from his father, that:
the Messenger of Allah appointed a man from Banu Makhzum to collect Sadaqah. Abu Rafi wanted to go with him, but the Messenger of Allah said: "The Sadaqah is not permissible for us, and the freed slave of a people is one of them."
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم اسْتَعْمَلَ رَجُلاً مِنْ بَنِي مَخْزُومٍ عَلَى الصَّدَقَةِ فَأَرَادَ أَبُو رَافِعٍ أَنْ يَتْبَعَهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" إِنَّ الصَّدَقَةَ لاَ تَحِلُّ لَنَا وَإِنَّ مَوْلَى الْقَوْمِ مِنْهُمْ " .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 2492
Abu Umamah bin Sahl bin Hunaif said:
concerning the Verse in which Allah, the Mighty and Subline, says: And do not aim at that which is bad to spend from it." [2] This refers to had quality dates. The Messenger of Allah forbade taking bad quality dates as Sadaqah.
أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى، وَالْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ، قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ، عَنِ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْجَلِيلِ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ الْيَحْصَبِيُّ، أَنَّ ابْنَ شِهَابٍ، حَدَّثَهُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو أُمَامَةَ بْنُ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ، فِي الآيَةِ الَّتِي قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ { وَلاَ تَيَمَّمُوا الْخَبِيثَ مِنْهُ تُنْفِقُونَ } قَالَ هُوَ الْجُعْرُورُ وَلَوْنُ حُبَيْقٍ فَنَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ تُؤْخَذَ فِي الصَّدَقَةِ الرُّذَالَةُ .

It was narrated that 'Aishah said:
"The Messenger of Allah used to fast until we said: 'He will not break his fast.' And he used not to fast until we said: 'He will not fast.' And I never saw the Messenger of Allah fast more in any month than in Shaban."
أَخْبَرَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ دَاوُدَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي مَالِكٌ، وَعَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، وَذَكَرَ، آخَرَ قَبْلَهُمَا أَنَّ أَبَا النَّضْرِ، حَدَّثَهُمْ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَصُومُ حَتَّى نَقُولَ مَا يُفْطِرُ وَيُفْطِرُ حَتَّى نَقُولَ مَا يَصُومُ وَمَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي شَهْرٍ أَكْثَرَ صِيَامًا مِنْهُ فِي شَعْبَانَ .

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Messenger of Allah said:
"When one of you dies, he is shown his place morning and evening. If he is one of the people of hell it is said: 'This is your place, until Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, raises you up on the Day of Resurrection."'
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُبَيْدَ اللَّهِ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" يُعْرَضُ عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ إِذَا مَاتَ مَقْعَدُهُ مِنَ الْغَدَاةِ وَالْعَشِيِّ فَإِنْ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فَمِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ قِيلَ هَذَا مَقْعَدُكَ حَتَّى يَبْعَثَكَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .

The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: "I have been commanded to fight the people until they say La ilaha illallah, and whoever says it, his life and his wealth are safe from me, except for a right that is due, and his reckoning will be with Allah."
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ، عَنْ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَقُولُوا لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ فَمَنْ قَالَهَا فَقَدْ عَصَمَ مِنِّي نَفْسَهُ وَمَالَهُ إِلاَّ بِحَقِّهِ وَحِسَابُهُ عَلَى اللَّهِ " . خَالَفَهُ الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ .

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي يَعْلَى بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، { يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ } قَالَ نَزَلَتْ فِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حُذَافَةَ بْنِ قَيْسِ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ بَعَثَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي سَرِيَّةٍ .

It was narrated from Maimunah, the wife of the Prophet, that:
some men of Quraish passed by the Messenger of Allah dragging a sheep the size of a donkey. He said to them: "Why don't you take its skin?" They said: "It is dead meat." The Messenger of Allah said: "Purify it with water and Qaraz."
أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، عَنِ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، وَاللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ فَرْقَدٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مَالِكِ بْنِ حُذَافَةَ، حَدَّثَهُ عَنِ الْعَالِيَةِ بِنْتِ سُبَيْعٍ، أَنَّ مَيْمُونَةَ، زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم حَدَّثَتْهَا أَنَّهُ مَرَّ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم رِجَالٌ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ يَجُرُّونَ شَاةً لَهُمْ مِثْلَ الْحِصَانِ فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لَوْ أَخَذْتُمْ إِهَابَهَا " . قَالُوا إِنَّهَا مَيْتَةٌ . فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " يُطَهِّرُهَا الْمَاءُ وَالْقَرَظُ " .

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ، عَنْ بَحِيرٍ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ، قَالَ وَفَدَ الْمِقْدَامُ بْنُ مَعْدِيكَرِبَ عَلَى مُعَاوِيَةَ فَقَالَ لَهُ أَنْشُدُكَ بِاللَّهِ هَلْ تَعْلَمُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى عَنْ لُبُوسِ جُلُودِ السِّبَاعِ وَالرُّكُوبِ عَلَيْهَا قَالَ نَعَمْ .

a man told the Messenger of Allah that he was always being cheated. The Messenger of Allah said to him: "When you make a deal, say: There is no intention of cheating" So, whenever the man engages in a deal he says, 'There is no intention of cheating." "(Sahih )
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، ذَكَرَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُ يُخْدَعُ فِي الْبَيْعِ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" إِذَا بِعْتَ فَقُلْ لاَ خِلاَبَةَ " . فَكَانَ الرَّجُلُ إِذَا بَاعَ يَقُولُ لاَ خِلاَبَةَ .

It was narrated from Umm Salamah that:
She mentioned women's hems to the Messenger of Allah [SAW], and the Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: "Let it down a hand span." Umm Salamah said: "But that will uncover (her feet)." He said: "Let it down a forearm's length, but no more than that."
حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ مَزْيَدٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي قَالَ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَوْزَاعِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، أَنَّهَا ذَكَرَتْ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ذُيُولَ النِّسَاءِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " يُرْخِينَ شِبْرًا " . قَالَتْ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ إِذًا يَنْكَشِفَ عَنْهَا . قَالَ " تُرْخِي ذِرَاعًا لاَ تَزِيدُ عَلَيْهِ " .

It was narrated that 'Ali said:
The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said to me: "Say: O Allah, make me steadfast and guide me." And he forbade me to sit on Al-Mayathir." Al-Mayathir: Qassi which the women used to put on the saddles for their husbands, such as red cushions.
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَاصِمَ بْنَ كُلَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ سَدِّدْنِي وَاهْدِنِي " . وَنَهَانِي عَنِ الْجُلُوسِ عَلَى الْمَيَاثِرِ وَالْمَيَاثِرُ قَسِّيٌّ كَانَتْ تَصْنَعُهُ النِّسَاءُ لِبُعُولَتِهِنَّ عَلَى الرَّحْلِ كَالْقَطَائِفِ مِنَ الأُرْجُوَانِ .

Abu Hurairah narrated that :
the Messenger of Allah said: “Indeed the first of what will be asked about on the Day of Judgment – meaning the slave (of Allah) being questioned about the favors – is that it will be said to him: ‘Did We not make your body, health, and give you of cool water to drink?’”
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شَبَابَةُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْعَلاَءِ، عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَرْزَمٍ الأَشْعَرِيِّ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" إِنَّ أَوَّلَ مَا يُسْأَلُ عَنْهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَعْنِي الْعَبْدَ مِنَ النَّعِيمِ أَنْ يُقَالَ لَهُ أَلَمْ نُصِحَّ لَكَ جِسْمَكَ وَنُرْوِيكَ مِنَ الْمَاءِ الْبَارِدِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ . وَالضَّحَّاكُ هُوَ ابْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَرْزَبٍ وَيُقَالُ ابْنُ عَرْزَمٍ وَابْنُ عَرْزَمٍ أَصَحُّ .

حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، وَعَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ رُفَيْعٍ، وَالأَعْمَشِ، كُلُّهُمْ سَمِعُوا زَيْدَ بْنَ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ فَبَشَّرَنِي فَأَخْبَرَنِي أَنَّهُ مَنْ مَاتَ لاَ يُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ " . قُلْتُ وَإِنْ زَنَى وَإِنْ سَرَقَ قَالَ " نَعَمْ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ . وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ .

Narrated 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud:
"Allah has not created in the heavens nor in the earth what is more magnificent than Ayat Al-Kursi." Sufyan said: "Because Ayat Al-Kursi is the Speech of Allah, and Allah's Speech is greater than Allah's creation of the heavens and the earth."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، فِي تَفْسِيرِ حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ مَا خَلَقَ اللَّهُ مِنْ سَمَاءٍ وَلاَ أَرْضٍ أَعْظَمَ مِنْ آيَةِ الْكُرْسِيِّ . قَالَ سُفْيَانُ لأَنَّ آيَةَ الْكُرْسِيِّ هُوَ كَلاَمُ اللَّهِ وَكَلاَمُ اللَّهِ أَعْظَمُ مِنْ خَلْقِ اللَّهِ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالأَرْضِ .

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:
that the Prophet (SAW) said: "O Allah honor Islam through Abu Jahl bin Hisham or through 'Umar bin Al-Khattab." He said: "So it happened that 'Umar came the next day to the Messenger of Allah (SAW) and accepted Islam."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، عَنِ النَّضْرِ أَبِي عُمَرَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" اللَّهُمَّ أَعِزَّ الإِسْلاَمَ بِأَبِي جَهْلِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ أَوْ بِعُمَرَ " . قَالَ فَأَصْبَحَ فَغَدَا عُمَرُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَسْلَمَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ . وَقَدْ تَكَلَّمَ بَعْضُهُمْ فِي النَّضْرِ أَبِي عُمَرَ وَهُوَ يَرْوِي مَنَاكِيرَ مِنْ قِبَلِ حِفْظِهِ .
