Mishkat al-Masabih 2564
Ibn ‘Umar said that when God’s messenger observed the circumambulation at the hajj or the ‘umra immediately on his arrival, he ran three circuits and walked four, then after making two prostrations he would go between as-Safa and al-Marwa.

Mishkat al-Masabih 2745
He told of the Prophet coming in sight of Uhud and saying, “This is a mountain which loves us and which we love. O God, Abraham declared Mecca sacred, and I declare the land between its (Medina's) two lava plains to be sacred.”

Abu Huraira reported God’s Messenger as saying, “If anyone performs a rak'a of the Morning Prayer before sunrise, he has observed the Morning Prayer; and if anyone performs a rak'a of the afternoon prayer before sunset, he has observed the afternoon prayer.”

Al-Bara’ b. ‘Azib said:

Abu Huraira reported God’s messenger as saying,

Thauban reported God’s messenger as saying,

Maimuna daughter of al-Harith told that she set free a girl in the time of God’s messenger, and when she mentioned that to him he said,
“If you had given her to your maternal uncles it would have increased your reward.”

Jabir said God’s messenger forbade that a man should eat with his left hand, or walk with one sandal, or wrap himself completely in a garment, or sit in a single garment with his hands round his knees and uncover his private parts.

Mishkat al-Masabih 4426
Nafi‘ quoted Ibn ‘Umar as saying he had heard the Prophet forbidding qaza'. Nafi' was asked what qaza’ was and replied that it was having part of a boy’s head shaved arid leaving part unshaven.
(Bukhari and Muslim.) Some made the explanation a part of the tradition.

Mishkat al-Masabih 4436
Nafi' said that when Ibn ‘Umar perfumed himself he used aloes-wood mixed with no other perfume, and also used camphor which he mixed in with the aloes-wood. Then he said that God’s messenger had perfumed himself thus.

وَعَنْ نَافِعٍ قَالَ: كَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ إِذَا اسْتَجْمَرَ اسْتَجْمَرَ بِأَلُوَّةٍ غَيْرِ مُطَرَّاةٍ وَبِكَافُورٍ يَطْرَحُهُ مَعَ الْأَلُوَّةِ ثُمَّ قَالَ: هَكَذَا كَانَ يَسْتَجْمِرُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ. رَوَاهُ مُسلم

He reported God’s messenger as saying that when a prophet was stung by an ant he ordered a colony of ants to be burned, and God most high revealed to him, "Because an ant stung you you have burned a community which glorifies me."

" قَرَصَتْ نَمْلَةٌ نَبِيًّا من الأنبياءِ فأمرَ بقربةِ النَّمْلِ فَأُحْرِقَتْ فَأَوْحَى اللَّهُ تَعَالَى إِلَيْهِ: أَنْ قَرَصَتْكَ نَمْلَةٌ أَحْرَقْتَ أُمَّةً مِنَ الْأُمَمِ تُسَبِّحُ؟ "

‘A’isha said:
We used to steep dates for God’s messenger in a skin which was tied at the top and had a mouth. What we steeped in the morning he would drink in the evening, and what we steeped in the evening he would drink in the morning.

وَعَن عائشةَ قَالَتْ: كُنَّا نَنْبِذُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سِقَاءٍ يُوكَأُ أَعْلَاهُ وَلَهُ عَزْلَاءُ نَنْبِذُهُ غُدْوَةً فَيَشْرَبُهُ عِشَاءً وَنَنْبِذُهُ عِشَاءً فيشربُه غُدوةً. رَوَاهُ مُسلم

Mishkat al-Masabih 4119
Umm Sharik told that God’s messenger ordered geckos to be killed, saying the gecko blew on Abraham.1
1. Al-Qur’an 21:68 speaks of Abraham being put into a fire. In this tradition it is said that the gecko blew on the fire to stir it up.

Mishkat al-Masabih 3943
As-Sa‘b b. Jaththama told that God’s Messenger was asked about the polytheists whose settlements were attacked at night when some of their women and offspring were smitten, and replied that they were of their number. A version has it that they were regarded in the same way as their parents.

وَعَن الصَّعبِ بنِ جِثَّامةَ قَالَ: سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عنْ أهلِ الدَّارِ يَبِيتُونَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ فَيُصَابَ مِنْ نِسَائِهِمْ وَذَرَارِيِّهِمْ قَالَ: «هُمْ مِنْهُمْ» . وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: «هُمْ مِنْ آبائِهم»

He reported God's messenger as saying, "By Him in whose hand my soul is, the world will not pass away before a man comes by a grave and rolls on it saying he wishes he were, in the place of the occupant of that grave, not for religious reasons, but because of tribulation."

وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
" وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَا تَذْهَبُ الدُّنْيَا حَتَّى يَمُرَّ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى الْقَبْرِ فَيَتَمَرَّغُ عَلَيْهِ ويقولُ: يَا لَيْتَني مَكَانَ صَاحِبِ هَذَا الْقَبْرِ وَلَيْسَ بِهِ الدِّينُ إِلَّا الْبلَاء ". رَوَاهُ مُسلم

`Abdallah b. `Amr told that he heard God's messenger say, "The first of the signs to appear will be the rising of the sun in its place of setting and the coming forth of the beast against mankind in the forenoon. Whichever of them comes first will soon be followed by the other."

وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٌو قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «إِنَّ أَوَّلَ الْآيَاتِ خُرُوجًا طُلُوعُ الشَّمْسِ مِنْ مَغْرِبِهَا وَخُرُوجُ الدَّابَّةِ عَلَى النَّاسِ ضُحًى وَأَيُّهُمَا مَا كَانَتْ قَبْلَ صَاحِبَتِهَا فَالْأُخْرَى على أَثَرهَا قَرِيبا» رَوَاهُ مُسلم

Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and
grant him peace, said, "A Muslim does not encounter fatigue, tiredness,
concern, sorrow, injury or grief, or even a thorn which pricks him without
Allah expiating his errors for him by that."

Jabir bin Abdullah (ra) said that they were with the Prophet (saws)when a very stinking gush of wind blew over there. The Prophet (saws) they asked his companions (ra) if they knew what that was. He added, "It is the (stinking) air of those people who backbite the believers."

Another version of Al-Bukhari has:
“None of you should urinate in stagnant water that is not flowing, and then take bath in it”.
A version of Muslim has the words “from it (i.e. the water)”.
A version of Abu Da’ud has: “One should not take bath in it from sexual impurity”.

Narrated ['Aishah (RA)]:

Narrated 'Aishah (RA):
The Prophet (SAW) delayed (the 'Isha' prayer) one night till a great part of the night passed, then he went out and offered the prayer, and said, "This is the proper time for it; were it not that I would impose a burden on my followers."

“The Messenger of Allah (saw)
said: ‘On Friday there is a time when no Muslim man happens to

in prayer at that time, asking Allah for good things, but He
will give
that to him.” And he gestured with his hand to indicate
how short that
time is.

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "He who performs the Wudu' perfectly (i.e., according to Sunnah), his sins will depart from his body, even from under his nails."

"I twisted those garlands from wool that we had, then the following morning he did what any non-Muhrim does with his wife, what any man does with his wife."

" مَا حَقُّ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ تَمُرُّ عَلَيْهِ ثَلاَثُ لَيَالٍ إِلاَّ وَعِنْدَهُ وَصِيَّتُهُ ". قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ مَا مَرَّتْ عَلَىَّ مُنْذُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ذَلِكَ إِلاَّ وَعِنْدِي وَصِيَّتِي.

Amr bin Shu'aib narrated from his grandfather that :
the Prophet sent a caller in the roads of Makkah proclaiming "Sadaqatul-Fitr is required upon every Muslim, male or female, free or slave, young or old; it is two Mudd of wheat or its equivalent of a Sa of food."

" أَلاَ إِنَّ صَدَقَةَ الْفِطْرِ وَاجِبَةٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنْثَى حُرٍّ أَوْ عَبْدٍ صَغِيرٍ أَوْ كَبِيرٍ مُدَّانِ مِنْ قَمْحٍ أَوْ سِوَاهُ صَاعٌ مِنْ طَعَامٍ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ . وَرَوَى عُمَرُ بْنُ هَارُونَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ وَقَالَ عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ مِينَاءَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَذَكَرَ بَعْضَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ .

I love to see fetters but I hate necklace (in a dream), for fetters signifies one's steadfastness in religion, and he also reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The vision of a believer is forty-sixth part of Prophecy.

Abu Musa reported the Apostle of Allaah(saws) as saying “ When one of you passes our Masjid or our market with an arrow, he should hold its head or hold it with its hand (the narrator is doubtful) so that no harm may be done to any Muslim.”
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ بُرَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِذَا مَرَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي مَسْجِدِنَا أَوْ فِي سُوقِنَا وَمَعَهُ نَبْلٌ فَلْيُمْسِكْ عَلَى نِصَالِهَا " . أَوْ قَالَ " فَلْيَقْبِضْ كَفَّهُ " . أَوْ قَالَ " فَلْيَقْبِضْ بِكَفِّهِ أَنْ يُصِيبَ أَحَدًا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ " .

Riyad as-Salihin 1119
'Ali bin Abu Talib (May Allah be pleased with him)reported:
The Prophet (PBUH) used to perform four Rak'ah before the 'Asr prayer, separating them with Taslim (i.e., offering blessings) on the favourite angels who are near Allah's proximity and the Muslims and the believers who come after them.

Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3038
Narrated Abu Hurairah:
"When the following was revealed: 'Whoever works evil will have the recompense of it... (4:123)' That worried the Muslims, so they complained about that to the Messenger of Allah (SAW) and he said: "Seek closeness and be steadfast, and in all that afflicts the believer there is atonement, even a thorn that pricks him, and the hardship he suffers."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي عُمَرَ، وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ الْمَعْنَى، وَاحِدٌ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ مُحَيْصِنٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ قَيْسِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ لَمَّا نَزَلَتْْ : (مَنْ يَعْمَلْ سُوءًا يُجْزَ بِهِ ) شَقَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِينَ فَشَكَوْا ذَلِكَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ
" قَارِبُوا وَسَدِّدُوا وَفِي كُلِّ مَا يُصِيبُ الْمُؤْمِنَ كَفَّارَةٌ حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةِ يُشَاكُهَا أَوِ النَّكْبَةِ يُنْكَبُهَا " .
قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ . ابْنُ مُحَيْصِنٍ هُوَ عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مُحَيْصِنٍ .
قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ . ابْنُ مُحَيْصِنٍ هُوَ عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مُحَيْصِنٍ .

Mishkat al-Masabih 3854
Aba Sa'id al-Khudri reported God’s Messenger as saying, “The believers in the world are in three classes:
those who believe in God and His Messenger and do not doubt, but strive with their property and their persons in God’s path; the man whom people trust with their property and their persons; then the man who, when he is about to display greed, abandons it for the sake of God who is great and glorious.”
Ahmad transmitted it.
وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيُّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:
" الْمُؤْمِنُونَ فِي الدُّنْيَا عَلَى ثَلَاثَةِ أَجْزَاءٍ: الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَرْتَابُوا وَجَاهَدُوا بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنْفُسِهِمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَالَّذِي يأمنه النَّاس على النَّاسُ عَلَى أَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنْفُسِهِمْ ثُمَّ الَّذِي إِذَا أَشْرَفَ عَلَى طَمَعٍ تَرَكَهُ لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ". رَوَاهُ أَحْمد

Hadith 10, 40 Hadith an-Nawawi
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (ra):
The Messenger of Allah (saws) said, “Allah the Almighty is Good and accepts only that which is good. And verily Allah has commanded the believers to do that which He has commanded the Messengers.
So the Almighty has said: “O (you) Messengers! Eat of the tayyibat [all kinds of halal (legal) foods], and perform righteous deeds.” [23:51] and the Almighty has said: “O you who believe! Eat of the lawful things that We have provided you.” [2:172]”
Then he (saws) mentioned [the case] of a man who, having journeyed far, is disheveled and dusty, and who spreads out his hands to the sky saying “O Lord! O Lord!,” while his food is haram (unlawful), his drink is haram, his clothing is haram, and he has been nourished with haram, so how can [his supplication] be answered?

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه و سلم "إنَّ اللَّهَ طَيِّبٌ لَا يَقْبَلُ إلَّا طَيِّبًا، وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ أَمَرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ بِمَا أَمَرَ بِهِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ فَقَالَ تَعَالَى: "يَا أَيُّهَا الرُّسُلُ كُلُوا مِنْ الطَّيِّبَاتِ وَاعْمَلُوا صَالِحًا"، وَقَالَ تَعَالَى: "يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُلُوا مِنْ طَيِّبَاتِ مَا رَزَقْنَاكُمْ" ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ الرَّجُلَ يُطِيلُ السَّفَرَ أَشْعَثَ أَغْبَرَ يَمُدُّ يَدَيْهِ إلَى السَّمَاءِ: يَا رَبِّ! يَا رَبِّ! وَمَطْعَمُهُ حَرَامٌ، وَمَشْرَبُهُ حَرَامٌ، وَمَلْبَسُهُ حَرَامٌ، وَغُذِّيَ بِالْحَرَامِ، فَأَنَّى يُسْتَجَابُ لَهُ؟".

Riyad as-Salihin 1851
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "O people! Allah is Pure and, therefore, accepts only that which is pure. Allah has commanded the believers as He has commanded His Messengers by saying: 'O Messengers! Eat of the good things, and do good deeds.' (23:51) And He said: 'O you who believe (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism)! Eat of the lawful things that We have provided you..."' (2:172). Then he (PBUH) made a mention of the person who travels for a long period of time, his hair are dishevelled and covered with dust. He lifts his hand towards the sky and thus makes the supplication: 'My Rubb! My Rubb!' But his food is unlawful, his drink is unlawful, his clothes are unlawful and his nourishment is unlawful, how can, then his supplication be accepted?"

وعن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم :
"يا أيها الناس إن الله طيب لا يقبل إلا طيباً، وإن الله أمر المؤمنين بما أمر به المرسلين، فقال تعالى: {يا أيها الرسل كلوا من الطيباب واعلموا صالحاً}، وقال تعالى: {يا أيها الذين آمنوا كلوا من طيبات ما رزقناكم} ثم ذكر الرجل يطيل السفر أشعث أغبر يمد يديه إلى السماء : يا رب يارب، ومطعمه حرام، ومشربه حرام، وملبسه حرام، وغذي بالحرام فأنى يستجاب لذلك!؟" ((رواه مسلم)).
