Abu Huraira reported God’s messenger as saying, “Change grey hairs and do not copy the Jews.”
Tirmidhi transmitted it, and Nasa’i transmitted it on the authority of Ibn ‘Umar and az-Zubair.

Ibn ‘Umar told that when the Prophet was brought a piece of cheese in Tabuk he called for a knife, and after mentioning God’s name, he cut it.

'Umar was heard to say, "Anyone who does not show mercy will not
be shown mercy. Anyone who does not forgive will not be forgiven. Anyone
who does not pardon will not be pardoned or protected."

The Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever seeks knowledge in order to argue with the foolish, or to show off before the scholars, or to attract people's attention, will be in Hell."

It was narrated from 'Aishah that:
The Prophet used to wash his private parts three times. Ibn 'Umar said: "We did that and we found it to be healing and a means of purification."

It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar was asked about gardens in which excrement was thrown.:
He said: "If it has been watered several times, then perform prayer there," and he attributed that to the Prophet.

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that:
a man invoked curses on his wife, and refused to accept her child. The Messenger of Allah (SAW) separated them, and left the child with the woman.

‘Do not lift your gaze to the heavens lest your sight be
snatched away,” meaning during prayer.

Sunan Ibn Majah 1064
‘Umar
said:
“The prayer when traveling is two Rak’ah, and Friday is
two
Rak’ah, and Al-Fitr and Al-Adha are two Rak’ah, complete, not
shortened, as told by Muhammad (SAW).”
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زِيَادِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ زُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ، قَالَ صَلاَةُ السَّفَرِ رَكْعَتَانِ وَصَلاَةُ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَتَانِ وَالْفِطْرُ وَالأَضْحَى رَكْعَتَانِ تَمَامٌ غَيْرُ قَصْرٍ عَلَى لِسَانِ مُحَمَّدٍ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ .

Sunan Ibn Majah 1145
It was
narrated from Hafsah bint ‘Umar that when the call for the
Subh
prayer was given, the Messenger of Allah (saw) would pray two
short
Rak’ah before going to the prayer.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ كَانَ إِذَا نُودِيَ لِصَلاَةِ الصُّبْحِ رَكَعَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ خَفِيفَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَقُومَ إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ .

It was
narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas and Ibn ‘Umar said:
“The Messenger of
Allah (saw) prescribed two Rak’ah of prayer when traveling; they
are
complete and are not shortened. And Witr when traveling is
Sunnah.”

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say `No father is to be killed in retaliatory punishment for killing his son`

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that Hafsah, the Mother of the Believers, :
Told him that when the Muaddhin fell silent, Allah's Messenger (SAW) would pray two brief rak'ahs.

" أَلاَ إِنَّ الْفِتْنَةَ هَا هُنَا مِنْ حَيْثُ يَطْلُعُ قَرْنُ الشَّيْطَانِ ".

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar used to say, "Duluk ash-shams begins from when the sun passes the meridian."

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar used to say that men and their wives used to do wudu together in the time of the Messenger of Allah.

وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ، كَانَ يُكَبِّرُ عِنْدَ رَمْىِ الْجَمْرَةِ كُلَّمَا رَمَى بِحَصَاةٍ . وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ بَعْضَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ يَقُولُ الْحَصَى الَّتِي يُرْمَى بِهَا الْجِمَارُ مِثْلُ حَصَى الْخَذْفِ . قَالَ مَالِكٌ وَأَكْبَرُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ قَلِيلاً أَعْجَبُ إِلَىَّ .

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدُ بْنُ مُسَرْهَدٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم دَخَلَ مَكَّةَ مِنْ كَدَاءٍ مِنَ الثَّنِيَّةِ الْعُلْيَا الَّتِي بِالْبَطْحَاءِ، وَيَخْرُجُ مِنَ الثَّنِيَّةِ السُّفْلَى. قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ كَانَ يُقَالُ هُوَ مُسَدَّدٌ كَاسْمِهِ. قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ سَمِعْتُ يَحْيَى بْنَ مَعِينٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ يَحْيَى بْنَ سَعِيدٍ يَقُولُ لَوْ أَنَّ مُسَدَّدًا أَتَيْتُهُ فِي بَيْتِهِ فَحَدَّثْتُهُ لاَسْتَحَقَّ ذَلِكَ، وَمَا أُبَالِي كُتُبِي كَانَتْ عِنْدِي أَوْ عِنْدَ مُسَدَّدٍ.

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شَاذَانُ الأَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ سِنَانِ بْنِ هَارُونَ الْبُرْجُمِيِّ، عَنْ كُلَيْبِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ ذَكَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِتْنَةً فَقَالَ
" يُقْتَلُ فِيهَا هَذَا مَظْلُومًا " . لِعُثْمَانَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ .

" إِذَا رَأَيْتُمُ الَّذِينَ يَسُبُّونَ أَصْحَابِي فَقُولُوا لَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ عَلَى شَرِّكُمْ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ مُنْكَرٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ إِلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ . وَالنَّضْرُ مَجْهُولٌ وَسَيْفٌ مَجْهُولٌ .

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" خَمْسٌ مِنَ الدَّوَابِّ مَنْ قَتَلَهُنَّ وَهْوَ مُحْرِمٌ فَلاَ جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِ الْعَقْرَبُ، وَالْفَأْرَةُ، وَالْكَلْبُ الْعَقُورُ، وَالْغُرَابُ، وَالْحِدَأَةُ ".

Narrated Ibn `Umar:
The Prophet said, "While a man was walking, dragging his dress with pride, he was caused to be swallowed by the earth and will go on sinking in it till the Day of Resurrection."
حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ، أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، أَخْبَرَنِي سَالِمٌ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" بَيْنَمَا رَجُلٌ يَجُرُّ إِزَارَهُ مِنَ الْخُيَلاَءِ خُسِفَ بِهِ، فَهْوَ يَتَجَلْجَلُ فِي الأَرْضِ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ ". تَابَعَهُ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ خَالِدٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ.

‘Umar reported the Prophet (May peace be upon him) was asked :
Do not sit which those who believe in free will and do not address them before they address you.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْمُقْرِئُ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ شَرِيكٍ الْهُذَلِيِّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ الْجُرَشِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" لاَ تُجَالِسُوا أَهْلَ الْقَدَرِ وَلاَ تُفَاتِحُوهُمْ " .

Sunan Abi Dawud 4745
Ibn ‘Umar reported the Messenger of Allah(may peace be upon him) as saying:
Before you there will be a pond the distance between whose sides is like that between Jarbah and Adhruh.

" إِنَّ أَمَامَكُمْ حَوْضًا مَا بَيْنَ نَاحِيَتَيْهِ كَمَا بَيْنَ جَرْبَاءَ وَأَذْرُحَ " .

Sunan Abi Dawud 4209
Thabit said that Anas was asked about the hair-dye of the Prophet (saws). He replied:
He did not dye his hair, but Abu Bakr and 'Umar dyed their hair.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنْ خِضَابِ النَّبِيِّ، صلى الله عليه وسلم فَذَكَرَ أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَخْضِبْ وَلَكِنْ قَدْ خَضَبَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا .

Abu Dawud said:
Ibn 'Umar reported the Messenger of Allah (saws) as saying: The Muslims will soon be besieged up to Medina, so that their most distant frontier outpost will be Salah.
قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ حُدِّثْتُ عَنِ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" يُوشِكُ الْمُسْلِمُونَ أَنْ يُحَاصَرُوا إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ حَتَّى يَكُونَ أَبْعَدُ مَسَالِحِهِمْ سَلاَحَ " .
