that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) saw a man laying on his stomach so he said: "Indeed such laying is not loved by Allah."

that the Prophet (SAW) said: "O Abu Musa! You have been given a Mizmar among the Mazamir of the family of Dawud."

that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "Al-Hamdulillah is Umm Al-Qur'an and Umm Al-Kitab and the seven oft-repeated."

Abu Dharr reported God’s messenger as saying, “The most excellent action is love for God’s sake and hatred for God’s sake.” Abu Dawud transmitted it.

Abu Huraira reported the Prophet as saying, “When one of you inflicts a beating he should avoid striking the face.” Abu Dawud transmitted it.

Abu Umama reported the Prophet as saying, ‘‘When a ruler seeks to make imputations against the people he corrupts them.” Abu Dawud transmitted it.

Abu Huraira reported the Prophet as saying, “Locusts are counted along with what is caught in the sea.” (Literally, 'the game of the sea’) Abu Dawud and Tirmidhi transmitted it.

That the Messenger of Allah (saws) said: "Three will not be spoken to by Allah on the Day of Judgement, nor will they be purified, and for them is a painful torment: A man that gave a pledge to an Imam, and if he gives to him he fulfills it, and if he does not give to him he does not fulfill not fulfill it."

[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.

That the Messenger of Allah (saws) said: "Whoever spends a sum in the cause of Allah, it is recorded for him seven-hundred fold."

[Abu 'Eisa said:] There are something on this topic from Abu Hurairah.

This Hadith is Hasan, we only know of it from the narration of Ar-Rukain bin Ar-Rabi' (a narrator in the chain of this Hadith)

That the Messenger of Allah (saws) said: "Indeed Khamr comes from wheat, Khamr comes from barely, Khamr comes from dates, Khamr comes from rasins, and Khamr comes from honey."

He said: There are narrations on this topic from Abu Hurairah.

[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Gharib.

that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) was at Hira, him, Abu Bakr, 'Umar, 'Uthman, 'Ali, Talhah and Az-Zubair (may Allah be pleased with them all), and the boulder (mount Hira) shook. So the Prophet (SAW) said: "Be calm, for there is none upon you except a Prophet, or a Siddiq, or a martyr."

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) said that he happened to pass by some people who had a roast lamb before them. They invited him, but he declined, saying: "The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) left the world without having eaten his fill with barley bread."

I heard the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) saying, "There is a Surah in the Qur'an which contains thirty Ayat which kept interceding for a man until his sins are forgiven. This Surah is 'Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the dominion.' (Surat Al-Mulk 67)."

Abu Huraira told that when God's messenger, Abu Bakr, `Umar, `Uthman, `Ali, Talha and az-Zubair were on Hira' the rock shook and God's messenger said, "Be still, for only a prophet, or a friend, or a martyr is on you. "Some added the name of Sa`d b. Abu Waqqas and did not mention `Ali". Muslim transmitted it.

I poured water while the Prophet (saws) performed ablution in the battle of Tabuk. He wiped over the upper part of the socks and their lower part.

Abu Dawud said: I have been told that Thawr did not hear this tradition from Raja'.

On the authority of his father 'Asim: The Messenger of Allah (saws) gave permission to the herdsmen of the camels not to pass night at Mina and asked them to throw pebbles on the day of sacrifice, and to throw pebbles at the jamrahs the next day and the following two days, and on the day of their return.

The Messenger of Allah (saws) used to divide his time equally and said: O Allah, this is my division concerning what I control, so do not blame me concerning what You control and I do not.

Abu Dawud said: By it meant the heart.

The Prophet (saws) forbade selling fruits years ahead, and commanded that unforeseen loss be remitted in respect of what is affected by blight.

Abu Dawud said: The attribution of the tradition regarding the effect of blight is one-third of the produce to the Prophet (saws) is not correct. This is the opinion of the people of Medina.

A man of Banu Adi was killed. The Prophet (saws) fixed his blood-wit at the rate of twelve thousand (dirhams).

Abu Dawud said: Ibn 'Uyainah transmitted it from 'Amr, from 'Ikrimah, from the Prophet (saws), and he did not mention Ibn 'Abbas.

I was a prisoner in Syria. A man called me from behind. I turned towards him and suddenly found that it was Raja b. Haiwah. He said: Abu ‘Awn, what is this that the people are telling about al-Hasan? I said: They are much lying to al-Hasan.

I asked the prophet (may peace be upon him) about wine made from honey. He said: That is bit. I said: And the one made from barley and millet ? He said :That is mizr. He then said: Tell your people that every intoxicant is prohibited.

I was sitting behind the Messenger of Allah (saws) who was riding a donkey while the sun was setting. He asked: Do you know where this sets ? I replied: Allah and his Apostle know best. He said: It sets in a spring of warm water (Hamiyah).

The Apostle of Allaah ( sal Allaahu alayhi wa sallam ) said: When there is enough water to fill two pitchers, it does not become impure.

Abu Dawud said : Hammad b. Zaid has narrated this tradition on the authority of 'Asim ( without any reference to the Prophet)

This tradition has been narrated by Mansur from al-Hakkam as narrated by Shu'bah.

The Prophet (saws) as saying: If anyone dies when some fast is due from him (i.e. which he could not keep) his heir must fast on his behalf.

Abu Dawud said: This applies to the fast which a man vows ; and this is the opinion of Ahmad b. Hanbal.

We asked Khabbab: Did the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) recit (the Quran) in the noon and afternoon prayers? He replied: Yes. We then asked: How did you know this? He said: By the shaking of his beard, may peace be upon him.

Allah's Messenger said: "Whoever said: 'Be quiet' while the Imam is giving the Khutbah then he has committed Laghw (useless activity)."

the Prophet said: "The fast is the day the people fast, the breaking of the fast is the day the people break their fast, and the sacrifice is the day the people sacrifice."

"Whoever eats or drinks forgetfully, then he has not broken (the fast), for it was only a provision that Allah provided for him."

the Messenger of Allah said: "Deeds are presented on Monday and Thursday, and I love that my deeds be presented while I am fasting."

The Prophet said: "When one of you is invited (to a meal) and he is fasting, then let him said: 'Indeed I am fasting.'"

The Prophet said: "Hurry up with the funeral (procession) for if it was good, you are advancing it to good, and if it was evil, then you are taking it off your necks."

"Use this black seed. For indeed it contains a cure for every disease except As-Sam" And As-Sam is death.

"The night and the day shall not go away until a man called Jahjah among the Mawali reigns."

"The heart of an old man remains young because of love for two things: Long life , and much wealth."

That the Messenger of Allah (saws) said: "Whoever swears [about an oath] and says: 'If Allah wills (Insha Allah), then he will not have broken it."

"Umrah to 'Umrah atones for the sins between them, and for A1-Hajj Al-Mabrur there is no reward except Paradise."

The Messenger of Allah (saws) said: “The lifespan of my nation is between sixty to seventy, and the least of them are those who surpass that.”

that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "The wise statement is the lost property of the believer, so wherever he finds it, then he is more worthy of it."

that when the Prophet (SAW) would sneeze, he would cover his face with his hand or with his garment, and muffle the sound with it.

that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "Whoever recites Ha Mum Ad-Dukhan during Friday night, he shall be forgiven."

The Prophet (PBUH) said, "Richness is not the abundance of wealth, rather it is self-sufficiency."

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "The blood, honour and property of a Muslim is inviolable for another Muslim."

We are prohibited from placing the hand on the side during As-Salat (the prayer).

Abu Huraira reported God's messenger as saying, "When the middle of Sha'ban comes do not fast." Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah and Darimi transmitted it.

Abu Huraira said that God’s Messenger forbade trailing garments during prayer and that a man should cover his mouth. Abu Dawud and Tirmidhi transmitted it.

Abu Huraira said God’s messenger cursed the man who dressed like a woman and the woman who dressed like a man. Abu Dawud transmitted it.

Abu Huraira reported God’s messenger as saying, “If anyone has himself cupped on the 17th, 19th, and 21st, it will be a remedy for every disease.” Abu Dawud transmitted it.

Abu Huraira reported God’s Messenger as saying, “Wagers are allowed only for shooting arrows, or racing camels or horses.” Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud and Nasa’i transmitted it.
