حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَحْوَهُ . قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الأَكْوَعِ وَجَابِرٍ وَالزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ أَنَسٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ . وَهُوَ الَّذِي أَجْمَعَ عَلَيْهِ أَكْثَرُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ أَنَّ وَقْتَ الْجُمُعَةِ إِذَا زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ كَوَقْتِ الظُّهْرِ . وَهُوَ قَوْلُ الشَّافِعِيِّ وَأَحْمَدَ وَإِسْحَاقَ . وَرَأَى بَعْضُهُمْ أَنَّ صَلاَةَ الْجُمُعَةِ إِذَا صُلِّيَتْ قَبْلَ الزَّوَالِ أَنَّهَا تَجُوزُ أَيْضًا . وَقَالَ أَحْمَدُ وَمَنْ صَلاَّهَا قَبْلَ الزَّوَالِ فَإِنَّهُ لَمْ يَرَ عَلَيْهِ إِعَادَةً .

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ، نَحْوَهُ . قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْمُحَبَّقِ، . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ النُّعْمَانِ فِي إِسْنَادِهِ اضْطِرَابٌ . قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدًا يَقُولُ لَمْ يَسْمَعْ قَتَادَةُ مِنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ إِنَّمَا رَوَاهُ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ عُرْفُطَةَ . وَيُرْوَى عَنْ قَتَادَةَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ كَتَبَ بِهِ إِلَىَّ حَبِيبُ بْنُ سَالِمٍ . وَأَبُو بِشْرٍ لَمْ يَسْمَعْ مِنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ هَذَا أَيْضًا إِنَّمَا رَوَاهُ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ عُرْفُطَةَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَقَدِ اخْتَلَفَ أَهْلُ الْعِلْمِ فِي الرَّجُلِ يَقَعُ عَلَى جَارِيَةِ امْرَأَتِهِ فَرُوِيَ عَنْ غَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنْهُمْ عَلِيٌّ وَابْنُ عُمَرَ أَنَّ عَلَيْهِ الرَّجْمَ . وَقَالَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ لَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ حَدٌّ وَلَكِنْ يُعَزَّرُ . وَذَهَبَ أَحْمَدُ وَإِسْحَاقُ إِلَى مَا رَوَى النُّعْمَانُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم .

O Allah! I ask you for Paradise and what brings me nearer to it of deeds and sayings. I seek refuge in You from Hell-Fire and what brings me near to it of deeds and sayings. وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ -رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهَا- أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -عَلَّمَهَا هَذَا اَلدُّعَاءَ: { اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ كُلِّهِ, عَاجِلِهِ وَآجِلِهِ, مَا عَلِمْتُ مِنْهُ وَمَا لَمْ أَعْلَمْ, وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الشَّرِّ كُلِّهِ, عَاجِلِهِ وَآجِلِهِ, مَا عَلِمْتُ مِنْهُ وَمَا لَمْ أَعْلَمْ, اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِ مَا سَأَلَكَ عَبْدُكَ وَنَبِيُّكَ, وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَاذَ بِهِ عَبْدُكَ وَنَبِيُّكَ, اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ اَلْجَنَّةَ, وَمَا قَرَّبَ إِلَيْهَا مِنْ قَوْلٍ أَوْ عَمَلٍ, وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ, وَمَا قَرَّبَ مِنْهَا مِنْ قَوْلٍ أَوْ عَمَلٍ, وَأَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تَجْعَلَ كُلَّ قَضَاءٍ قَضَيْتَهُ لِي خَيْرًا } أَخْرَجَهُ اِبْنُ مَاجَهْ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اِبْنُ حِبَّانَ, وَالْحَاكِمُ . 1 .

This hadith has been narrated through other chains of transmitters on the authority of Ibn Abbas, (and) the words are:
While Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) stood up to deliver a sermon, he said: 0 people, Allah would make you assemble barefooted, naked and uncircumcised (and then recited the words of the Qur'an):" As We created you for the first time, We shall repeat it. (It is) a promise (binding) upon us. Lo! We are to perform it, and the first person who would be clothed on the Day of Resurrection would be (Hadrat) Ibrahim (peace be upon him)" and, behold! some persons of my Ummah would be brought and taken to the left and I would say: My Lord, they are my companions, and it would be said: You do not know what they did after you, and I would say just as the pious servant (Hadrat 'Isa) said:, I was a witness regarding them as I remained among them and Thou art a witness over everything, so if Thou chastisest them, they are Thy servants and if Thou for- givest them, Thou art Mighty, Wise" (v. 117-118). And it would be said to him: They constantly turned to their heels since you left them. This hadith has been transmitted on the authority of Waki' and Mu'adh (and the words are):" What new things they fabricated."

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّكُمْ تُحْشَرُونَ إِلَى اللَّهِ حُفَاةً عُرَاةً غُرْلاً { كَمَا بَدَأْنَا أَوَّلَ خَلْقٍ نُعِيدُهُ وَعْدًا
عَلَيْنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا فَاعِلِينَ} أَلاَ وَإِنَّ أَوَّلَ الْخَلاَئِقِ يُكْسَى يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِبْرَاهِيمُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ
أَلاَ وَإِنَّهُ سَيُجَاءُ بِرِجَالٍ مِنْ أُمَّتِي فَيُؤْخَذُ بِهِمْ ذَاتَ الشِّمَالِ فَأَقُولُ يَا رَبِّ أَصْحَابِي . فَيُقَالُ
إِنَّكَ لاَ تَدْرِي مَا أَحْدَثُوا بَعْدَكَ . فَأَقُولُ كَمَا قَالَ الْعَبْدُ الصَّالِحُ { وَكُنْتُ عَلَيْهِمْ شَهِيدًا مَا
دُمْتُ فِيهِمْ فَلَمَّا تَوَفَّيْتَنِي كُنْتَ أَنْتَ الرَّقِيبَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَنْتَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ شَهِيدٌ * إِنْ تُعَذِّبْهُمْ
فَإِنَّهُمْ عِبَادُكَ وَإِنْ تَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ فَإِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ} ...

Narrated 'Umar (RA):
He (SAW) used to say, "How perfect You are O Allah, and Praise is for You, Blessed is Your Name and Exalted is Your Majesty and there is nothing which deserves to be worshipped besides You."

chain. And in the version of ad-Daraqutni, it is Mawsul (unbroken chain), and it is Mawquf (saying of a companion ('Umar)].

Mishkat al-Masabih 1637
‘Abdallah b. 'Abbas said that a man wearing the ihram who was along with the Prophet was thrown by his she-camel and had his neck broken and died. God's messenger then said, “Wash him with water and lotus leaves, shroud him in his two garments, but do not put any perfume on him or cover his head, for he will be raised on the day of resurrection saying the talbiya.”(The cry of pilgrims! “At Thy service (labbaika), O God, at Thy service, at Thy service; Thou hast no partner:
at Thy service; praise and grace are Thine, and the dominion ; Thou hast no partner." See Book XI, chap. ii)

Narrated Al-A`mash:
I asked Abu Wail, "Did you take part in the battle of Siffin?" He said, 'Yes, and I heard Sahl bin Hunaif (when he was blamed for lack of zeal for fighting) saying, "You'd better blame your wrong opinions. I wish you had seen me on the day of Abu Jandal. If I had the courage to disobey the Prophet's orders, I would have done so. We had kept out swords on our necks and shoulders, for a thing which frightened us. And we did so, we found it easier for us, except in the case of the above battle (of ours).' "
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو حَمْزَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الأَعْمَشَ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا وَائِلٍ شَهِدْتَ صِفِّينَ قَالَ نَعَمْ، فَسَمِعْتُ سَهْلَ بْنَ حُنَيْفٍ، يَقُولُ اتَّهِمُوا رَأْيَكُمْ، رَأَيْتُنِي يَوْمَ أَبِي جَنْدَلٍ وَلَوْ أَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ أَرُدَّ، أَمْرَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم لَرَدَدْتُهُ، وَمَا وَضَعْنَا أَسْيَافَنَا عَلَى عَوَاتِقِنَا لأَمْرٍ يُفْظِعُنَا إِلاَّ أَسْهَلْنَ بِنَا إِلَى أَمْرٍ، نَعْرِفُهُ غَيْرِ أَمْرِنَا هَذَا.

Ibn `Abbas said:
I was present with God's messenger at the battle of Hunain. When the Muslims and the infidels met the Muslims turned in retreat, but God's messenger began to spur his she-mule in the direction of the infidels, while I was holding the bridle of his she-mule to restrain it, desiring that it should not go quickly, and Abu Sufyan b. al-Harith was holding God's messenger's stirrup. God's messenger then said, "Call those who were present at the gum-acacia tree[1]." `Abbas, who had a loud voice, told that he called at the top of his voice, "Where are those who were present at the gum-acacia tree?" adding, ``I swear by God that I made them turn back when they heard my voice as cows turn back to their young." They said, "At your service, at your service." They and the-infidels then fought, and the call among the Ansar was, "O company of the Ansar, O company of the Ansar." Then the call was confined to the B. al-Harith b. al Khazraj[2]. God's messenger watched their fighting while sitting on his she-mule like one stretching out his neck, and said, "This is when the oven has become hot[3]." Then taking some pebbles and throwing them in the faces of the infidels he said, "Be routed, by the Lord of Muhammad." I swear by God that no sooner had he thrown the pebbles at them than I began to see their power becoming weak and their ranks, turning in retreat.
1. The reference is to the battle of Mu'ta.
2. Those who swore allegiance to the Prophet at al-Hudaibiya. Cf. Quran, 48:18.
3. A tribal group which formed a section of the Ansar.
4. A figure of speech meaning that the fighting has become violent.

وَعَن عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: شَهِدْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ فَلَمَّا الْتَقَى الْمُسْلِمُونَ وَالْكُفَّارُ وَلَّى الْمُسْلِمُونَ مُدْبِرِينَ فَطَفِقَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَرْكُضُ بَغْلَتَهُ قِبَلَ الْكُفَّارِ وَأَنَا آخِذٌ بِلِجَامِ بَغْلَةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَكُفُّهَا إِرَادَةَ أَن لَا تسرع وَأَبُو سُفْيَان آخِذٌ بِرِكَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَيْ عَبَّاسُ نَادِ أَصْحَابَ السَّمُرَةِ فَقَالَ عَبَّاسٌ وَكَانَ رَجُلًا صَيِّتًا فَقُلْتُ بِأَعْلَى صَوْتِي أَيْنَ أَصْحَابُ السَّمُرَةِ فَقَالَ وَاللَّهِ لَكَأَنَّ عَطْفَتَهُمْ حِينَ سَمِعُوا صَوْتِي عَطْفَةُ الْبَقَرِ عَلَى أَوْلَادِهَا فَقَالُوا يَا لَبَّيْكَ يَا لَبَّيْكَ قَالَ فَاقْتَتَلُوا وَالْكُفَّارَ وَالدَّعْوَةُ فِي الْأَنْصَارِ يَقُولُونَ يَا مَعْشَرَ الْأَنْصَارِ يَا مَعْشَرَ الْأَنْصَارِ قَالَ ثُمَّ قُصِرَتِ الدَّعْوَةُ عَلَى بَنِي الْحَارِثِ بْنِ الْخَزْرَجِ فَنَظَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ عَلَى بَغْلَتِهِ كَالْمُتَطَاوِلِ عَلَيْهَا إِلَى قِتَالِهِمْ فَقَالَ حِينَ حَمِيَ الْوَطِيسُ ثُمَّ أَخَذَ حَصَيَاتٍ فَرَمَى بِهِنَّ وُجُوهَ الْكُفَّارِ ثُمَّ قَالَ انْهَزَمُوا وَرَبِّ مُحَمَّدٍ فَوَاللَّهِ مَا هُوَ إِلَّا أَنْ رَمَاهُمْ بِحَصَيَاتِهِ ...

Sunan Abi Dawud 4520
Narrated Sahl b. Abi Hathmah and Rafi' b. Khadij:
Muhayyasah b. Mas'ud and 'Abd Allah b. Sahl came to Khaibar and parted (from each other) among palm trees. 'Abd Allah b. Sahl was killed. The Jews were blamed (for the murder). 'Abd al-Rahman b. Sahl and Huwayyasah and Muhayyasah, the sons of his uncle (Mas'ud) came to the Prophet (saws). 'Abd al-Rahman, who was the youngest, spoke about his brother, but the Messenger of Allah (saws) said to him: (Respect) the elder, (respect) the elder or he said: Let the eldest begin. They then spoke about their friend and the Messenger of Allah (saws) said: Fifty of you should take oaths regarding a man from them (the Jews) and he should be entrusted (to him) with his rope (in his neck). They said: It is a matter which we did not see. How can we take oaths ? He said: The Jews exonerate themselves by the oaths of fifty of them. They said: Messenger of Allah! they are a people who are infidels. So the Messenger of Allah (saws) paid them bloodwit himself. Sahl said: Once I entered the resting place of their camels, and the she-camel struck me with her lef. Hammad said this or (something) similar to it.
Abu Dawud said: Another version transmitted by Yahya b. Sa'id has: Would you swear fifty oaths and make you claim regarding your friend or your slain man ? Bishr, the transmitter, did mention blood. 'Abdah transmitted it from Yahya as transmitted by Hammad. Ibn 'Uyainah has also transmitted it from Yahya, and began with his words: The Jew will exonerate themselves by fifty oaths which they will swear. He did not mention the claim.
Abu Dawud said: This is a misunderstanding on the part of Ibn 'Uyainah.

Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar:
The people during the lifetime of the Messenger of Allah (saws) used to bring forth the sadaqah at the end of Ramadan when closing the fast one sa' of barley whose straw is removed, or of raisins. Abdullah said: When Umar (Allah be pleased with him) succeeded, and the wheat became abundant, Umar prescribed half a sa' of wheat instead of all these things.

Abu Huraira reported the Prophet as saying, “Seventy angels have been put in charge of it (i.e. the Yamani corner), so if anyone says, ‘O God, I ask Thee for pardon and wellbeing in this world and the next; our Lord, bring us a blessing in this world and a blessing in the next, and guard us from the punishment of hell’, they will say Amen.”
Ibn Majah transmitted it.
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «وُكِّلَ بِهِ سَبْعُونَ مَلَكًا» يَعْنِي الرُّكْنَ الْيَمَانِيَ
" فَمَنْ قَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ قَالُوا: آمين ". رَوَاهُ ابْن مَاجَه

Ibn ‘Abbas told that when food was presented to the Prophet or, his coming out from the privy and he was asked whether they should bring him water for ablution, he replied, “I have been commanded to perform ablution only when I get up for prayer.”
Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud and Nasa’i transmitted it, and Ibn Majah transmitted it on Abu Huraira’s authority.

Abu Huraira reported God's messenger as saying, "Let me tell you something about the dajjal which no prophet has told his people. He is one-eyed, and will bring with him something like paradise and hell, but what he calls paradise will be hell. I warn you as Noah warned his people about him."

Abu Umama a told that he heard God's messenger say, "My Lord has promised me to bring into paradise seventy thousand of my people without any reckoning or punishment, each thousand accompanied by seventy thousand and three handfuls[*] added by my Lord."
*A figure of speech to indicate an unspecified additional number.

Narrated Ibn Mas’ud (rad):
The Prophet (saw) went out to answer the call of nature and asked me to bring three stones. I found two stones and searched for the third but could not find it. So I took a dried piece of dung and brought it to him. He took the two stones and threw away the dung and said, “This is a filthy thing”. [Reported by Al-Bukhari]
وَعَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: { أَتَى اَلنَّبِيُّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -اَلْغَائِطَ, فَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ آتِيَهُ بِثَلَاثَةِ أَحْجَارٍ, فَوَجَدْتُ حَجَرَيْنِ, وَلَمْ أَجِدْ ثَالِثًا. فَأَتَيْتُهُ بِرَوْثَةٍ. فَأَخَذَهُمَا وَأَلْقَى اَلرَّوْثَةَ, وَقَالَ:

Narrated Abu Juhaifa:
I saw Bilal bringing a short spear (or stick) and fixing it in the ground, and then he proclaimed the Iqama of the prayer, and I saw Allah's Apostle coming out, wearing a cloak with its sleeves rolled up. He then offered a two-rak`at prayer while facing the stick, and I saw the people and animals passing in front of him beyond the stick.
حَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ شُمَيْلٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَوْنُ بْنُ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، قَالَ فَرَأَيْتُ بِلاَلاً جَاءَ بِعَنَزَةٍ فَرَكَزَهَا، ثُمَّ أَقَامَ الصَّلاَةَ، فَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم خَرَجَ فِي حُلَّةٍ مُشَمِّرًا، فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ إِلَى الْعَنَزَةِ، وَرَأَيْتُ النَّاسَ وَالدَّوَابَّ يَمُرُّونَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنْ وَرَاءِ الْعَنَزَةِ.

Sahl bin Sa`d As-Sa`idi, was asked by the people, "With what was the wound of the Prophet treated? Sahl replied, "None remains among the people living who knows that better than I. `Ali [??] used to bring water in his shield and Fatima used to wash the blood off his face. Then straw mat was burnt and the wound was filled with it."

" كَانَ فِيمَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْ رَجُلٌ بِهِ جُرْحٌ، فَجَزِعَ فَأَخَذَ سِكِّينًا فَحَزَّ بِهَا يَدَهُ، فَمَا رَقَأَ الدَّمُ حَتَّى مَاتَ، قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى بَادَرَنِي عَبْدِي بِنَفْسِهِ، حَرَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ الْجَنَّةَ ".

Ibn Sa'd said: My father (Sa'd ibn AbuWaqqas) heard me say: O Allah, I ask Thee for Paradise, its blessings, its pleasure and such-and-such, and such-and-such; I seek refuge in Thee from Hell, from its chains, from its collars, and from such-and-such, and from such-and-such. He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (saws) say: There will be people who will exaggerate in supplication. You should not be one of them. If you are granted Paradise, you will be granted all what is good therein; if you are protected from Hell, you will be protected from what is evil therein.
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ مِخْرَاقٍ، عَنْ أَبِي نُعَامَةَ، عَنِ ابْنٍ لِسَعْدٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ سَمِعَنِي أَبِي، وَأَنَا أَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ، إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْجَنَّةَ وَنَعِيمَهَا وَبَهْجَتَهَا وَكَذَا وَكَذَا وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ وَسَلاَسِلِهَا وَأَغْلاَلِهَا وَكَذَا وَكَذَا فَقَالَ يَا بُنَىَّ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ
" سَيَكُونُ قَوْمٌ يَعْتَدُونَ فِي الدُّعَاءِ " . فَإِيَّاكَ أَنْ تَكُونَ مِنْهُمْ إِنْ أُعْطِيتَ الْجَنَّةَ أُعْطِيتَهَا وَمَا فِيهَا مِنَ الْخَيْرِ وَإِنْ أُعِذْتَ مِنَ النَّارِ أُعِذْتَ مِنْهَا وَمَا فِيهَا مِنَ الشَّرِّ .

narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that, for fever and all kinds of
pain, the
Prophet (saw) used to teach them to say:
“Bismillahil-kabir,
a’udhu
billahil-‘Azim min sharri ‘irqin na’ar wa, min sharri
harrin-
nar (In the Name of Allah the Great, I seek refuge with Allah
the
Almighty from the evil of a vein gushing (with blood) and the
evil of
the heat of the Fire.”
(One of the narrators) Abu `Ammar said: “I differed with the people on this, I said: ‘Screaming.’”
Another chain from Ibn `Abbas, from the Prophet (saws) with similar wording, and he said: “From the evil of a vein screaming (with blood).”

Narrated Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Habban:
The Messenger of Allah (saws) said: What is the harm if any of you has two garments, if he can provide them, for Friday (prayer) in addition to the two garments for his daily work? Amr reported from Ibn Habib from Musa ibn Sa'd from Ibn Habban from Ibn Salam who heard this (tradition) from the Messenger of Allah (saws) on the pulpit.
Abu Dawud said: This tradition has been reported by Yusuf b. 'Abd Allah b. Salam from the Prophet (saws) through a different chain of narrators.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، وَعَمْرٌو، أَنَّ يَحْيَى بْنَ سَعِيدٍ الأَنْصَارِيَّ، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " مَا عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ إِنْ وَجَدَ " . أَوْ " مَا عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ إِنْ وَجَدْتُمْ أَنْ يَتَّخِذَ ثَوْبَيْنِ لِيَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ سِوَى ثَوْبَىْ مَهْنَتِهِ " . قَالَ عَمْرٌو وَأَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ حَبَّانَ عَنِ ابْنِ سَلاَمٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ ذَلِكَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَرَوَاهُ وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَلاَمٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم .

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَحْوَهُ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ . وَقَالَ إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَحْسَنُ شَيْءٍ رُوِيَ فِي تَطَوُّعِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي النَّهَارِ هَذَا . وَرُوِيَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُضَعِّفُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ . وَإِنَّمَا ضَعَّفَهُ عِنْدَنَا وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ لأَنَّهُ لاَ يُرْوَى مِثْلُ هَذَا عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ . وَعَاصِمُ بْنُ ضَمْرَةَ هُوَ ثِقَةٌ عِنْدَ بَعْضِ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ . قَالَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ قَالَ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ قَالَ سُفْيَانُ كُنَّا نَعْرِفُ فَضْلَ حَدِيثِ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ عَلَى حَدِيثِ الْحَارِثِ .
