Chapter: It is permissible to eat garlic, but the one who is going to address prominent people should refrain from eating it, and the same applies to other, similar foods

باب إِبَاحَةِ أَكْلِ الثُّومِ وَأَنَّهُ يَنْبَغِي لِمَنْ أَرَادَ خِطَابِ الْكِبَارِ تَرْكُهُ وَكَذَا مَا فِي مَعْنَاهُ
Sahih Muslim 2053 b
This Hadith is narrated on the authority of Shu'ba with the same chain of transmitters.
وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، فِي هَذَا الإِسْنَادِ .
