Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 195
Al-Miqdam heard the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him
peace, say, "What you feed yourself is sadaqa. What you feed your
child, your wife and your servant is sadaqa."
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا بَقِيَّةُ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي بَحِيرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ، سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ: مَا أَطْعَمْتَ نَفْسَكَ فَهُوَ صَدَقَةٌ، وَمَا أَطْعَمْتَ وَلَدَكَ وَزَوْجَتَكَ وَخَادِمَكَ فَهُوَ صَدَقَةٌ.

Anas reported that a Jewish woman brought the Prophet, may Allah
bless him and grant him peace, poisoned sheep. He ate from it and she was
brought. It was asked, "Should we not kill her?" "No," he replied.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ يَهُودِيَّةً أَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِشَاةٍ مَسْمُومَةٍ، فَأَكَلَ مِنْهَا، فَجِيءَ بِهَا، فَقِيلَ: أَلاَ نَقْتُلُهَا؟ قَالَ: لاَ، قَالَ: فَمَا زِلْتُ أَعْرِفُهَا فِي لَهَوَاتِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم.

Narrated ‘Ali (rad):
The Prophet (saw) fixed the period of Mash (wiping) over the leather socks (Khifaf – plural of Khuff) for three days and nights for a traveller and one day and a night for the resident person in a town [Reported by Muslim].
وَعَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: { جَعَلَ اَلنَّبِيُّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيَهُنَّ لِلْمُسَافِرِ, وَيَوْمًا وَلَيْلَةً لِلْمُقِيمِ. يَعْنِي: فِي اَلْمَسْحِ عَلَى اَلْخُفَّيْنِ } أَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِم ٌ 1 .

Narrated Ibn 'Umar (RA):
The Prophet (SAW) re-directed al-Yamin (the oath to be sword by the defendant) to the one making the claim to some right.
[ad-Daraqutni reported the two aforesaid Ahadith, and there is weakness in their chain of narrators].
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا; { أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -رَدَّ اَلْيَمِينَ عَلَى طَالِبِ اَلْحَقِّ } رَوَاهُمَا اَلدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ, وَفِي إِسْنَادِهِمَا ضَعْف ٌ 1 .

Narrated Abu Mahdhura (RA):
The Prophet (SAW) taught him the Adhan (call to prayer) and he (the narrator) mentioned the Tarji' in it.
[Muslim reported it, but mentioned the phrase (Takbir) "Allah is the Most Great" at its beginning just twice.
عَنْ أَبِي مَحْذُورَةَ - رضى الله عنه - { أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -عَلَّمَهُ اَلْآذَانَ, فَذَكَرَ فِيهِ اَلتَّرْجِيعَ } أَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ. وَلَكِنْ ذَكَرَ اَلتَّكْبِيرَ فِي أَوَّلِهِ مَرَّتَيْنِ فَقَطْ 1 .

Narrated Wa'il bin Hujr (RA):

Narrated Samurah bin Jundub (RA):

وَعَنْ سَمُرَةَ بنِ جُنْدُبٍ - رضى الله عنه - { أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -كَانَ يَسْتَغْفِرُ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ كُلَّ جُمُعَةٍ } رَوَاهُ اَلْبَزَّارُ بِإِسْنَادٍ لَيِّن ٍ 1 .

Mishkat al-Masabih 2191
Qatādā said that when Anas was asked how the Prophet recited the Qur’ān he replied that he did so prolonging the words. Then he recited “In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful,” prolonging each phrase.

Aba Sa‘id reported God's Messenger as saying, "The truthful and trusty merchant is associated with the prophets, the upright, and the martyrs."
Tirmidhi, Darimi and Daraqutni transmitted it, and Ibn Majah transmitted it on the authority of Ibn ‘Umar. Tirmidhi said this is a gharib tradition.

Sunan Ibn Majah 630
It was narrated that 'Aisha the wife of the Prophet said:
"One of us used to menstruate, then rub the blood off her garment when she became pure again, and wash it, and sprinkle water over the rest of the garment, then perform prayer in it."

It was narrated that 'Abdullah said:
"The idolaters kept the Prophet from the 'Asr prayer until the sun had set. He said: 'They kept us from performing the middle prayer; may Allah fill their graves and their houses with fire.'"

"If a man were to fill his stomach completely with pus until it destroyed him, that would be better for him than filling (his mind) with poetry."

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (SAW) said:
"Do not meet the traders on the way, and whoever meets any of them and buys from him, the vendor has the choice of annulling the transaction when he comes to the marketplace.''

It was narrated from Umm Salamah that the Prophet (SAW) said:
“If anyone of you (women) has a Mukatab, and he has enough (wealth) to pay off (his contact of manumission), she must veil herself from him.”

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah, Zaid bin Khalid and Shibl said:
“We were with the Prophet (SAW) and a man asked him about a slave woman who commits fornication (again), whip her, even if that is for a rope of hair.' ”
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، وَزَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، وَشِبْلٍ، قَالُوا كُنَّا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَسَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ عَنِ الأَمَةِ تَزْنِي قَبْلَ أَنْ تُحْصَنَ . فَقَالَ " اجْلِدْهَا فَإِنْ زَنَتْ فَاجْلِدْهَا فَإِنْ زَنَتْ فَاجْلِدْهَا " . ثُمَّ قَالَ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ أَوْ فِي الرَّابِعَةِ " فَبِعْهَا وَلَوْ بِحَبْلٍ مِنْ شَعَرٍ " .

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that the Prophet (SAW) said:
“The blood of every Muslims is equal, they are one hand against others. The asylum offered by the lowest of them in status applies to them (all), and the return is granted to the farthest of them.”

narrated that Muhammad bin ‘Abbad bin Ja’far said:
“While I

circumambulating the House, I asked Jabir bin ‘Abdullah: ‘Did the
Prophet (saw) forbid fasting on a Friday?’ He said: ‘Yes, by the
Lord
of this House.’”

narrated that Maimunah the freed (female) slave of the
Messenger of
Allah (saw), said:
“The Prophet (saw) was asked about a
man who
kissed his wife when they were both fasting. He said: ‘They
have
broken their fast.’”

narrated that from ‘Abdur-Rahman bin Abu Bakrah, from his

“Two months of ‘Eid whose reward
cannot be reduced (even if they are twenty-nine days): ‘Ramadan
and
Dhul-Hijjah.”

“We bought a ram for
sacrifice, then a wolf tore some flesh from its rump and ears. We
asked the Prophet (saw) and he told us to offer it as a sacrifice.”
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ قَرَظَةَ الأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ ابْتَعْنَا كَبْشًا نُضَحِّي بِهِ فَأَصَابَ الذِّئْبُ مِنْ أَلْيَتِهِ أَوْ أُذُنِهِ فَسَأَلْنَا النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَأَمَرَنَا أَنْ نُضَحِّيَ بِهِ .

“A man burped in the presence of
the Prophet (saw) and he said: ‘Withhold your burps from us! For

most hungry of you on the Day of Resurrection will be those who
most
ate their fill in this world.’”

" كُفَّ جُشَاءَكَ عَنَّا فَإِنَّ أَطْوَلَكُمْ جُوعًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَكْثَرُكُمْ شِبَعًا فِي دَارِ الدُّنْيَا " .

" أَتَشْتَهِي شَيْئًا أَتَشْتَهِي كَعْكًا " . قَالَ نَعَمْ . فَطَلَبُوا لَهُ .

narrated from Abu ‘Umar, the freed slave of Asma’, from Asma’
bint Abi Bakr, that she brought out a cloak edged with brocade and
said:
“The Prophet (saw) used to wear this when he met the enemy.”

It was
narrated from ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr that the Prophet (saw) passed
by
him when he was praying sitting down. He said:
“The prayer of one
who sits down is equivalent to half of the prayer of one who stands.”

It was
narrated from Hudhaifah bin Asid that the Prophet (SAW) led

and said:
“Pray for a brother of yours who has died in a land

than yours.” They said: “Who is he?” He said: “Najashi.”

‘O son of Adam! If you are patient and seek reward at the moment

first shock, I will not approve of any reward for you less than
Paradise.’”

It was narrated that Jabir said:

from miserliness, cowardice, the tribulations of the heart (grudges, envy, bad attitude and bad beliefs), the torment of the grave and old age.

The mushrikeen used not to move on from Jam' (Muzdalifah) until the sun rose over (the mountain of) Thabeer, The Prophet ﷺ differed from them and moved on before the sun rose.

Ar-Rubay' bint Mu'awwidh bin Afra' narrated:
"The Prophet wiped his head two times: He began with the rear of his head, then with the front of his head and with both of his ears, outside and Inside of them."
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ، عَنِ الرُّبَيِّعِ بِنْتِ مُعَوِّذِ بْنِ عَفْرَاءَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ مَرَّتَيْنِ بَدَأَ بِمُؤَخَّرِ رَأْسِهِ ثُمَّ بِمُقَدَّمِهِ وَبِأُذُنَيْهِ كِلْتَيْهِمَا ظُهُورِهِمَا وَبُطُونِهِمَا " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ وَحَدِيثُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ أَصَحُّ مِنْ هَذَا وَأَجْوَدُ إِسْنَادًا . وَقَدْ ذَهَبَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْكُوفَةِ إِلَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ مِنْهُمْ وَكِيعُ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ .

"The Prophet asked me: "What is in your Idawah (water skin)?" I said: "Nabidh." He said: "Dates are wholesome and water is pure." He said: "So he performed Wudu with it."
حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي فَزَارَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ سَأَلَنِي النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَا فِي إِدَاوَتِكَ " . فَقُلْتُ نَبِيذٌ . فَقَالَ " تَمْرَةٌ طَيِّبَةٌ وَمَاءٌ طَهُورٌ " . قَالَ فَتَوَضَّأَ مِنْهُ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَإِنَّمَا رُوِيَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ عَنْ أَبِي زَيْدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم . وَأَبُو زَيْدٍ رَجُلٌ مَجْهُولٌ عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْحَدِيثِ لاَ يُعْرَفُ لَهُ رِوَايَةٌ غَيْرُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ . وَقَدْ رَأَى بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ الْوُضُوءَ بِالنَّبِيذِ مِنْهُمْ سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ وَغَيْرُهُ . وَقَالَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ لاَ يُتَوَضَّأُ بِالنَّبِيذِ وَهُوَ قَوْلُ الشَّافِعِيِّ وَأَحْمَدَ وَإِسْحَاقَ . وَقَالَ إِسْحَاقُ إِنِ ابْتُلِيَ رَجُلٌ بِهَذَا فَتَوَضَّأَ بِالنَّبِيذِ وَتَيَمَّمَ أَحَبُّ إِلَىَّ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَقَوْلُ مَنْ يَقُولُ لاَ يُتَوَضَّأُ بِالنَّبِيذِ أَقْرَبُ إِلَى الْكِتَابِ وَأَشْبَهُ لأَنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى قَالَ: "فإِن لَمْ تَجِدُوا مَاءً فَتَيَمَّمُوا صَعِيدًا طَيِّبًا ".

" يَا عَلِيُّ ثَلاَثٌ لاَ تُؤَخِّرْهَا الصَّلاَةُ إِذَا آنَتْ وَالْجَنَازَةُ إِذَا حَضَرَتْ وَالأَيِّمُ إِذَا وَجَدْتَ لَهَا كُفْؤًا " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ حَسَنٌ .

حَدَّثَنَا بُنْدَارٌ، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ حُجْرِ بْنِ عَنْبَسٍ، عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْرٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَرَأَ: (غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ الضَّالِّينَ ) فَقَالَ " آمِينَ " . وَمَدَّ بِهَا صَوْتَهُ . قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْرٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ . وَبِهِ يَقُولُ غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَالتَّابِعِينَ وَمَنْ بَعْدَهُمْ يَرَوْنَ أَنَّ الرَّجُلَ يَرْفَعُ صَوْتَهُ بِالتَّأْمِينِ وَلاَ يُخْفِيهَا . وَبِهِ يَقُولُ الشَّافِعِيُّ وَأَحْمَدُ وَإِسْحَاقُ . وَرَوَى شُعْبَةُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ عَنْ حُجْرٍ أَبِي الْعَنْبَسِ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ وَائِلٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَرَأَ : ( غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ الضَّالِّينَ ) فَقَالَ " آمِينَ " . وَخَفَضَ بِهَا صَوْتَهُ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَسَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدًا يَقُولُ حَدِيثُ سُفْيَانَ أَصَحُّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ شُعْبَةَ فِي هَذَا وَأَخْطَأَ شُعْبَةُ فِي مَوَاضِعَ مِنْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ فَقَالَ ...

I heard Allah's Apostle saying, "Allah will hold the whole earth, and roll all the heavens up in His Right Hand, and then He will say, 'I am the King; where are the kings of the earth?"'

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، أَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ قَالَتْ مَا انْتَقَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لِنَفْسِهِ فِي شَىْءٍ يُؤْتَى إِلَيْهِ حَتَّى تُنْتَهَكَ مِنْ حُرُمَاتِ اللَّهِ فَيَنْتَقِمَ لِلَّهِ.

Anas (May Allah bepleased with him) reported:
The Prophet (PBUH) said, "No one of you shall become a true believer until he desires for his brother what he desires for himself".
