Narrated 'Uqbah bin 'Aamir (RA):
Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "The best dowry is that which is most easy."
[Abu Dawud reported it and al-Hakim graded it Sahih (authentic)].

" مَنْ بَنَى مَسْجِدًا يُذْكَرُ فِيهِ اسْمُ اللَّهِ بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ " .

"Whoever makes a vow and does not state it specifically, the expiation (for such a vow) is the expiation for breaking an oath. "

" مَنْ مَاتَ وَعَلَيْهِ دِينَارٌ أَوْ دِرْهَمٌ قُضِيَ مِنْ حَسَنَاتِهِ لَيْسَ ثَمَّ دِينَارٌ وَلاَ دِرْهَمٌ " .

" مَنْ طَلَبَ حَقًّا فَلْيَطْلُبْهُ فِي عَفَافٍ وَافٍ أَوْ غَيْرِ وَافٍ " .

حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَظِيمِ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَنْبَأَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" لأَنْ يَمْنَحَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ أَرْضَهُ خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ عَلَيْهَا كَذَا وَكَذَا " . لِشَىْءٍ مَعْلُومٍ . وَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ هُوَ الْحَقْلُ وَهُوَ بِلِسَانِ الأَنْصَارِ الْمُحَاقَلَةُ .

Sunan Ibn Majah 2561
It was narrated from Ibn`Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said:
“Whoever you find doing the action of the people of Lut, kill the one who does it, and the one to whom it is done.”

Sunan Ibn Majah 2619
It was narrated from Bara' bin Azib that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said:
“If this world were to be destroyed, that would be less significant before Allah (SWT) than the unlawful killing of a believer.”

Sunan Ibn Majah 2660
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that the Prophet (SAW) said:
”A believer should not be killed in retaliation for the murder of a disbeliever, and a person who has a treaty should not be killed during the time of the treaty.”

“A grateful
eater will have a reward like that of a patient fasting person.”

‘Whoever dies owing the fasts of a month, one poor person should

fed on his behalf for each day.”

narrated that Rabi’ah bin Ghaz asked ‘Aishah about the fasting

the Messenger of Allah (saw). She said:
“He used to fast all of
Sha’ban, until he joined it to Ramadan.”

narrated from Jabir bin ‘Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah

“The food of one person is sufficient for two, the food of
two is sufficient for four, and the food for four is sufficient for
eight.”

‘Abdullah bin Busr narrated that the Messenger of Allah (saw) was
brought a bowl (of food). The Messenger of Allah (saw) said:

the sides and leave the top, so that it may be blessed.”

“The Messenger of Allah (saw)

to spend many nights in a row hungry and his family could find no
supper, and usually their bread was barley bread.”

took the hand of a leper and made him eat with him, and said:

with trust in Allah and reliance upon Allah.”

" كُلْ ثِقَةً بِاللَّهِ وَتَوَكُّلاً عَلَى اللَّهِ " .

narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah (saw)

“Whoever goes out in the cause of Allah will have the equivalent

the dust that got on him, in musk, on the Day of Resurrection.”

narrated that ‘Uqbah bin ‘Amir Al-Juhani said:
“I heard the
Messenger of Allah (saw) say: ‘Whoever learns how to shoot (arrows)
then abandons it, has disobeyed me.’”
حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْمِصْرِيُّ، أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ نُعَيْمٍ الرُّعَيْنِيِّ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ نَهِيكٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيَّ، يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ
" مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الرَّمْىَ ثُمَّ تَرَكَهُ فَقَدْ عَصَانِي " .

narrated that ‘Uthman bin Mawhab said:
“I entered upon Umm

two Rak’ah, it is as if he freed a slave.’”

‘The goodness of this nation will
not
cease as long as they revere this sanctuary* as it is due. But
when
they lose that reverence, they will be doomed.”

‘Adi

in it and throwing the ends over his shoulders.”

narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (saw)

“Whoever tells of a false dream, will be ordered (on the Day of
Resurrection) to tie two grains of barley together, and he will be
punished for that.”

" مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ عَلَى طُهْرٍ كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ بِهِ عَشْرَ حَسَنَاتٍ " . قَالَ وَرَوَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ الإِفْرِيقِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي غُطَيْفٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم . حَدَّثَنَا بِذَلِكَ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ عَنِ الإِفْرِيقِيِّ . وَهُوَ إِسْنَادٌ ضَعِيفٌ . قَالَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ قَالَ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ ذُكِرَ لِهِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ فَقَالَ هَذَا إِسْنَادٌ مَشْرِقِيٌّ . قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَحْمَدَ بْنَ الْحَسَنِ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ أَحْمَدَ بْنَ حَنْبَلٍ يَقُولُ مَا رَأَيْتُ بِعَيْنِي مِثْلَ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانِ .

" قَاتَلَ اللَّهُ الْيَهُودَ، لَمَّا حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ شُحُومَهَا جَمَلُوهُ ثُمَّ بَاعُوهُ فَأَكَلُوهَا ".
وَقَالَ أَبُو عَاصِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، كَتَبَ إِلَىَّ عَطَاءٌ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرًا، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم.

It was narrated that Jabir bin Samurah said:
"When the Messenger of Allah (SAW) prayed fajr, he would sit in the place where he had prayed until the sun rose."

Sunan an-Nasa'i 1369
It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah that:
The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "Whoever misses jumu'ah three times with no cogent excuse, Allah (SWT) will place a seal on his heart."
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ سَوَّادٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ أَسِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي أَسِيدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، - رضى الله عنه - أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" مَنْ تَرَكَ الْجُمُعَةَ ثَلاَثًا مِنْ غَيْرِ ضَرُورَةٍ طَبَعَ اللَّهُ عَلَى قَلْبِهِ " .

It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said:
"We used to travel with the Messenger of Allah (SAW) between Makkah and Al-Madinah, fearing nothing but Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, and praying two rak'ahs."

It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said:
"Whoever prays during the night, let him make the last of his prayers at night witr, because the Messenger of Allah (SAW) used to enjoin that."
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، قَالَ مَنْ صَلَّى مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَلْيَجْعَلْ آخِرَ صَلاَتِهِ وَتْرًا فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يَأْمُرُ بِذَلِكَ .

Narrated Ibn `Umar:
The Prophet said, "If anyone of you is having his meals, he should not hurry up
till he is; satisfied even if the prayer has been started."
وَقَالَ زُهَيْرٌ وَوَهْبُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى الطَّعَامِ فَلاَ يَعْجَلْ حَتَّى يَقْضِيَ حَاجَتَهُ مِنْهُ، وَإِنْ أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلاَةُ ". رَوَاهُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ، وَوَهْبٌ مَدِينِيٌّ.

Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard that Said ibn al-Musayyab used to go to the place of prayer after praying subh, and before the sun rose.
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ أَنَّ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيَّبِ، كَانَ يَغْدُو إِلَى الْمُصَلَّى بَعْدَ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ الصُّبْحَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ .

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar said, when nicking the hump of his sacrificial animal to brand it, "In the name of Allah, and Allah is greater."
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ، كَانَ إِذَا طَعَنَ فِي سَنَامِ هَدْيِهِ وَهُوَ يُشْعِرُهُ قَالَ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ .

Yahya related to me from Malik that Ibn Shihab said, "If someone dedicates an animal as compensation, or for a vow, or as the sacrifice for tamattu, and misfortune befalls it on the road, he must provide a substitute."
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَنْ أَهْدَى بَدَنَةً جَزَاءً أَوْ نَذْرًا أَوْ هَدْىَ تَمَتُّعٍ فَأُصِيبَتْ فِي الطَّرِيقِ فَعَلَيْهِ الْبَدَلُ .

حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ زَعَمُوا أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، كَانَ يَبْعَثُ رِجَالاً يُدْخِلُونَ النَّاسَ مِنْ وَرَاءِ الْعَقَبَةِ .
