Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1855
Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr:
That the Messenger of Allah (saws) said: "(All of you) worship Ar-Rahman, feed others, spread the (greeting of) Salam, then you will enter Paradise in security."
He said: This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.
حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" اعْبُدُوا الرَّحْمَنَ وَأَطْعِمُوا الطَّعَامَ وَأَفْشُوا السَّلاَمَ تَدْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ بِسَلاَمٍ " . قَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:
"The Messenger of Allah (saws) prohibited breathing in the vessel, or blowing into it."
[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.

Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1890
'Ubaidullah bin 'Abdullah narrated a report (of the Messenger of Allah (saws) from Abu Sa'eed, that he prohibited bending the mouths of the water-skins.
He said:
There are narrations on this topic from Jabir, Ibn 'Abbas, and Abu Hurairah.
[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، رِوَايَةً أَنَّهُ نَهَى عَنِ اخْتِنَاثِ الأَسْقِيَةِ، . قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ، وَابْنِ، عَبَّاسٍ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 3544
It was narrated from 'Ikrimah with regard to the saying of Allah, the Mighty and Sublime:
"And those of you who die and leave behind wives should bequeath for their wives a year's maintenance and residence without turning them out," that he said: "This was abrogated by: 'And those of you who die and leave wives behind them, they (the wives) shall wait (as regards their marriage) for four months and ten days.'"

'Isa ibn Tahman said:
"Anas ibn Malik brought out to us a pair of hairless sandals with two thongs. Then Thabit told me afterwards, on the authority of Anas, that they were the sandals of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace).”

An-Nu'man ibn Bashir say:
“Do you not have what you want in the way of food and drink? I have seen your Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace), and the poor-quality dates [daqal] that he finds are what fills his stomach.”

Narrated Umm Salamah, Ummul Mu'minin:
Al-Hasan reported on the authority of his mother that she was Umm Salamah pouring water on the urine of the male child until the age when he did not eat food. When he began to eat food, she would wash (his urine). And she would wash the urine of the female child.

neither the Jawwaz nor the Jazari will enter paradise. He said that the Jawwaz is the one who is coarse and uncivil.

Narrated Abu Qilabah:
That the Prophet (saws) made a man read the verse: "For, that day His chastisement will be such as none (else) can be chastised. And his bonds will be such as none (other) can be bound.
Abu Dawud said: According to some (scholars), there is a narrator between the narrator Khalid and Abu Qilabah.

Malik was asked about the meaning of his saying: There is no safar. He replied: The people of pre-Islamic Arabia used to make the month of safar lawful (for war). They made it lawful in one year and unlawful in another year. The Prophet (saws) said: There is no safar.

Narrated 'Ikrimah:
The tradition about the sister of 'Uqbah b. 'Amir as narrated by Hisham, but he made no mention of the sacrificial animal. In his version he said: Ask your sister to ride.
Abu Dawud said: Khalid narrated it from 'Ikrimah to the same effect as narrated by Hisham.

This version adds “If anyone swears an oath to do an act of disobedience to GOD, his oath is not valid, and if anyone swears an oath to sever relationship, his oath is not valid(i.e., he must not fulfill it)

Sunan Abi Dawud 1417
The above mentioned tradition has also been narrated by 'Abd Allah (b. Mas'ud) through a different chain of narrators to the same effect. This version adds:
A bedouin said: What are you saying ? He replied: This is neither for you, nor for your companions.

'A'isha reported:
The Messenger of Allah (way peace be upon him) loved to start from the right-hand side for performing ablution, for combing (the hair) and wearing the shoes.

The Prophet (saws) used to wear tanned leather sandals and dye his beard yellow with wars and saffron, and Ibn 'Umar used to do that too.

I asked Jabir bin `Abdallah about riding on the sacrificial camels. He said I heard The Messenger of Allah (SWAS) saying ride on them gently when you have nothing else till you find a mount.

Abu Dawud said:
A similar tradition has been transmitted by Zakariya b. Salim through a different chain of narrators. This version adds: He (the Prophet) then threw a pebble like a gram at her. He then said: Throw at her and avoid her face. When se died, he took her out and prayed over her. About repentance he said similar to the tradition on Buraidah.
قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ حُدِّثْتُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ، بِإِسْنَادِهِ نَحْوَهُ زَادَ ثُمَّ رَمَاهَا بِحَصَاةٍ مِثْلَ الْحُمُّصَةِ ثُمَّ قَالَ
" ارْمُوا وَاتَّقُوا الْوَجْهَ " . فَلَمَّا طَفِئَتْ أَخْرَجَهَا فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهَا وَقَالَ فِي التَّوْبَةِ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ بُرَيْدَةَ .

Abu Sa’id (al-Khudri) reported the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) as saying :
Do not revile my Companions; by him in whose hand my soul is, if one of you contributed the amount of gold equivalent to Uhud, it would not amount to as much as the mudd of one of them, or half of it.

Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud transmitted it, Tirmidhi saying this is a gharib tradition.
وَعَنْ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِذَا وَجَدْتُمُ الرَّجُلَ قَدْ غَلَّ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَاحْرُقُوا مَتَاعَهُ وَاضْرِبُوهُ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ وَقَالَ التِّرْمِذِيُّ: هَذَا حَدِيث غَرِيب

Mishkat al-Masabih 3647
An-Nu‘man b. Bashir reported God’s Messenger as saying, “From wheat wine is made, from barley wine is made, from dried dates wine is made, from raisins wine is made, and from honey wine is made.”
Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah transmitted it, Tirmidhi saying this is a gharib tradition.
وَعَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ مِنْ الْحِنْطَةِ خَمْرًا وَمِنَ الشَّعِيرِ خَمْرًا وَمِنَ التَّمْرِ خَمْرًا وَمِنَ الزَّبِيبِ خَمْرًا وَمِنَ الْعَسَلِ خَمْرًا» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ وَقَالَ التِّرْمِذِيُّ: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ

On the day of sacrifice at the pilgrimage before the Farewell Pilgrimage over which the Prophet had appointed Abu Bakr, he sent me with a group whom he had ordered to announce among the people, “After this year no polytheist may perform the pilgrimage, and no naked person may go round the House.”

Abu Huraira said that God's messenger came and entered Mecca, and after he had gone forward to the stone and touched it, he went round the House. He then went to as-Safa and mounted it so that he could look at the House, then he raised his hands, began to make mention of God as much as he wished and make supplication.
Abu Dawud transmitted it.
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: أَقْبَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَدَخَلَ مَكَّةَ فَأَقْبَلَ إِلَى الْحَجَرِ فَاسْتَلَمَهُ ثُمَّ طَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ ثُمَّ أَتَى الصَّفَا فَعَلَاهُ حَتَّى يَنْظُرَ إِلَى الْبَيْتِ فَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ فَجَعَلَ يَذْكُرُ اللَّهَ مَا شَاءَ وَيَدْعُو. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد

Najiya al-Khuza‘i said he asked God's messenger what he should do with sacrificial camels which became fatigued, and he told him to slaughter them, dip their shoes in their blood, and leave them for the people to eat.
Malik, Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah transmitted it, but Abu Dawud and Darimi transmitted it from Najiya al-Aslami.
وَعَنْ نَاجِيَةَ الْخُزَاعِيِّ قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كَيْفَ أَصْنَعُ بِمَا عَطِبَ مِنَ الْبُدْنِ؟ قَالَ: «انْحَرْهَا ثُمَّ اغْمِسْ نَعْلَهَا فِي دَمِهَا ثُمَّ خَلِّ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ وَبَيْنَهَا فَيَأْكُلُونَهَا» . رَوَاهُ مَالك وَالتِّرْمِذِيّ وَابْن مَاجَه

Mishkat al-Masabih 2640
Ibn ‘Abbas said that in the year of al-Hudaibiya the Prophet included among his sacrificial animals a camel with a silver (a version has gold) nose-ring which had belonged to Abu Jahl,( A chief of Quraish who had been hostile to the Prophet. He was killed at Badr) thereby enraging the polytheists.
Abu Dawud transmitted it.
عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَهْدَى عَامَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ فِي هَدَايَا رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَمَلًا كَانَ لِأَبِي جَهْلٍ فِي رَأْسِهِ بُرَةٌ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ يَغِيظُ بِذَلِكَ الْمُشْركين. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد

Hakim b. Hizam said that God's Messenger prohibited retaliation being taken in a mosque, the recitation of poems in it, and the infliction of punishment in it.
Abu Dawud in his Sunan and the author of Jami‘ al-usul ( Ibn al-Athir) in his work transmitted it from Hakim, but in al-Masabih it is transmitted from Jabir.

Al-Fadl b. ‘Abbas said, “God’s Messenger came to us accompanied by ‘Abbas when we were in open country belonging to us. He prayed in a desert with no sutra in front of him, and a she-ass and a bitch of ours were playing in front of him, but he paid no attention to that.”
Abu Dawud transmitted it and Nasa’i has something similar.

Mishkat al-Masabih 1293
Al-Hasan said that ‘Umar b. al-Khattab congregated the people with Ubayy b. Ka‘b as imam and he led them in prayer for twenty nights, but led them in humble supplication only in the second half. When the last ten days came he withdrew and prayed in his house, and the people were saying, “Ubayy has run away.”
Abu Dawud transmitted it.

‘Abdallah b. Zaid said God’s Messenger went out to the place of prayer and prayed for rain. When he faced the qibla he turned round his cloak, putting its right side on his left shoulder and its left side on his right shoulder, then made supplication to God.
Abu Dawud transmitted it.

Abu Huraira told of his hearing God’s Messenger say, “The wind comes from God’s mercy bringing blessing and punishment, so do not revile it, but ask God for some of its good and seek refuge in Him from its evil."
Shafi'i, Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah and Baihaqi, in [Kitab] ad- da'awat al-kabir, transmitted it.

Rabi'a b. ‘Abd ar-Rahman on more than one person’s authority said,
“God’s messenger assigned as a fief to Bilal b. al-Harith al-Muzani the mines of al-Qabaliya which is in the neighbourhood of al-Fur‘,* and only zakat is levied on those mines up to the present day.”
Abu Dawud transmitted it.
* Yaqut, Mu'jam, ii, 471, says it is a village in the neighbourhood of ar-Rabadha, eight stages from Medina on the way to Mecca; some say four days’ journey.

Anas ibn Malik reported that a man cursed fleas in the presence
of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and the Prophet,
may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Do not curse them. A flea
woke up one of the Prophets for the prayer."

Abu Rimthah narrated, ‘I came to the Prophet (P.B.U.H.) with my son and he asked me, “Who is this?” I answered, ‘This is my son, and I swear on it.’ The Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H.) said, “He will not carry your burdens (sins) and you will not carry his burdens.” Related by An-Nasa’i and Abu Dawud. Ibn Khuzaimah and Ibn al-Garud graded it as Sahih.
وَعَنْ أَبِي رِمْثَةَ قَالَ: { أَتَيْتُ اَلنَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -وَمَعِي اِبْنِي 1 . فَقَالَ: "مَنْ هَذَا?" قُلْتُ: اِبْنِي. أَشْهَدُ بِهِ. قَالَ: "أَمَّا إِنَّهُ لَا يَجْنِي عَلَيْكَ, وَلَا تَجْنِي عَلَيْهِ } رَوَاهُ النَّسَائِيُّ, وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اِبْنُ خُزَيْمَةَ, وَابْنُ اَلْجَارُودِ 2 .

Mu'adh bin Jabal (RAA) narrated, ‘We went on an expedition to Khaibar along with the Prophet and we got some sheep (as spoils). Then Allah's Messenger divided some of them among us and divided the rest with the other war booty,” Related by Abu Dawud on the authority of reasonably reliable men.
وَعَنْ مُعَاذٍ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: { غَزَوْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -خَيْبَرَ, فَأَصَبْنَا فِيهَا غَنَمًا , فَقَسَمَ فِينَا رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -طَائِفَةً, وَجَعَلَ بَقِيَّتَهَا فِي اَلْمَغْنَمِ" } رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ, وَرِجَالُهُ لَا بَأْسَ بِهِمْ 1 .
