Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-'As:
The Prophet (saws) said: Blood-wit for every wound which lays bare a bone is five camels.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ، فُضَيْلُ بْنُ حُسَيْنٍ أَنَّ خَالِدَ بْنَ الْحَارِثِ، حَدَّثَهُمْ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا حُسَيْنٌ، - يَعْنِي الْمُعَلِّمَ - عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، أَنَّ أَبَاهُ، أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ

Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas:
A desert Arab came to the Prophet (saws) and began to speak. Thereupon the Messenger of Allah (saws) said: In eloquence there is magic and in poetry there is wisdom.
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ جَاءَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَجَعَلَ يَتَكَلَّمُ بِكَلاَمٍ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" إِنَّ مِنَ الْبَيَانِ سِحْرًا وَإِنَّ مِنَ الشِّعْرِ حُكْمًا " .

Abu al-Zubair said:
I asked Jabir bin `Abdallah about riding on the sacrificial camels. He said I heard The Messenger of Allah (SWAS) saying ride on them gently when you have nothing else till you find a mount.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، سَأَلْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ رُكُوبِ الْهَدْىِ، فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ
" ارْكَبْهَا بِالْمَعْرُوفِ إِذَا أُلْجِئْتَ إِلَيْهَا حَتَّى تَجِدَ ظَهْرًا " .

Mishkat al-Masabih 2575
Abu Huraira said that God's messenger came and entered Mecca, and after he had gone forward to the stone and touched it, he went round the House. He then went to as-Safa and mounted it so that he could look at the House, then he raised his hands, began to make mention of God as much as he wished and make supplication.
Abu Dawud transmitted it.
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: أَقْبَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَدَخَلَ مَكَّةَ فَأَقْبَلَ إِلَى الْحَجَرِ فَاسْتَلَمَهُ ثُمَّ طَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ ثُمَّ أَتَى الصَّفَا فَعَلَاهُ حَتَّى يَنْظُرَ إِلَى الْبَيْتِ فَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ فَجَعَلَ يَذْكُرُ اللَّهَ مَا شَاءَ وَيَدْعُو. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد

Mishkat al-Masabih 2640
Ibn ‘Abbas said that in the year of al-Hudaibiya the Prophet included among his sacrificial animals a camel with a silver (a version has gold) nose-ring which had belonged to Abu Jahl,( A chief of Quraish who had been hostile to the Prophet. He was killed at Badr) thereby enraging the polytheists.
Abu Dawud transmitted it.
عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَهْدَى عَامَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ فِي هَدَايَا رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَمَلًا كَانَ لِأَبِي جَهْلٍ فِي رَأْسِهِ بُرَةٌ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ يَغِيظُ بِذَلِكَ الْمُشْركين. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد

Narrated Ibn 'Umar (RA):
Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "Whoever is in time for a Rak'ah of the Friday prayer, or any other prayer, should add another (Rak'ah) to it and his prayer will then be complete."
[an-Nasa'i, Ibn Majah and ad-Daraqutni reported it; the wording is from ad-Daraqutni. Its chain of narrators is Sahih (authentic), but Abu Hatim strengthened the view that it is Mursal (missing link after the Tabi'i)].
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ مَنْ أَدْرَكَ رَكْعَةً مِنْ صَلَاةِ اَلْجُمُعَةِ وَغَيْرِهَا فَلْيُضِفْ إِلَيْهَا أُخْرَى, وَقَدْ تَمَّتْ صَلَاتُهُ } رَوَاهُ النَّسَائِيُّ, وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ, وَاَلدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ, وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ, وَإِسْنَادُهُ صَحِيحٌ, لَكِنْ قَوَّى أَبُو حَاتِمٍ إِرْسَالَهُ . 1 .

Abu Rafi' said:
One day God’s messenger visited his wives, washing after intercourse with each, so I asked, “Messenger of God, why do you not simply wash once at the end?” He replied, “This is purer, better and cleaner.

When I was sitting with the Prophet a woman came forward and the Prophet spread out his cloak and she sat on it. Then when she went away someone said that this woman had suckled the Prophet.

‘Abdallah b. Malik told that when ‘Uqba b. ‘Amir consulted the Prophet about a sister of his who had vowed to perform the Pilgrimage. If barefoot and bareheaded, he said, “Command her to cover her head and to ride, and to fast three days.”
Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, Nasa’i, Ibn Majah and Darimi transmitted it.
وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ عُقْبَةَ بن عَامر سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ أُخْتٍ لَهُ نَذَرَتْ أَنْ تَحُجَّ حَافِيَةً غَيْرَ مُخْتَمِرَةٍ فَقَالَ: «مُرُوهَا فَلْتَخْتَمِرْ وَلْتَرْكَبْ وَلْتَصُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَالتِّرْمِذِيُّ وَالنَّسَائِيُّ وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ والدارمي

We were guided aright to Friday (as a day of prayer and meditation), but Allah diverted those who were before us from it. The rest of the hadith is the same.

" هُدِينَا إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ وَأَضَلَّ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَنَا " . فَذَكَرَ بِمَعْنَى حَدِيثِ ابْنِ فُضَيْلٍ .

It was
narrated from ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allah

“Two kinds of dead meat and two kinds of blood have
been
permitted to us. The two kinds of dead meat are fish and
locusts, and
the two kinds of blood are the liver and spleen.”

It was narrated that ash-Sha`bi said:
A freed slave woman of Sa’eed bin Qais, who was married and had committed an immoral action, was brought to `Ali, he gave her one hundred lashes then he stoned her. Then he said: I flogged her in accordance with the Book of Allah and I stoned her in accordance with the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ).

Narrated `Abdullah bin Mas`ud:
Whoever buys a sheep which has not been milked for a long time, has the option of returning it along with one Sa of dates; and the Prophet forbade going to meet the seller on the way (as he has no knowledge of the market price and he may sell his goods at a low price).

Narrated Ibn `Umar:
A man came to the Prophet and said, "I am often betrayed in bargaining." The Prophet advised him, "When you buy something, say (to the seller), 'No deception." The man used to say so afterwards.

Narrated Shaddad ibn Aws:
The tradition mentioned above (No. 2361) has also been transmitted by Shaddad ibn Aws through a different chain of narrators.
This version adds: While Shaddad ibn Aws was walking along with the Prophet (saws)....The narrator then transmitted the rest of the tradition to the same effect.

Farwah b. Nawfal quoted his father as saying that the Prophet (saws) said to Nawfal (his father):
Recite (the Surah) 'Say, O you disbelievers!' and then go to sleep at its end, for it is a declaration of freedom from polytheism.

Mishkat al-Masabih 1413
Ibn ‘Umar said that the Prophet used to deliver two sermons. He would sit down when he ascended the pulpit till he (I think he meant the mu’adhdhin) was finished. He would then stand up and preach, then sit down and say nothing, then stand up and preach.
Abu Dawud transmitted it.

Mishkat al-Masabih 4093
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri told th at they said, “Messenger of God, we cut the throat of a she-camel and slaughter a cow and a sheep and find an embryo in its womb. Shall we throw it away or eat it?” He replied, “Eat it if you wish, for its slaughter is included when its mother is slaughtered.”
Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah transmitted it.

Mishkat al-Masabih 4095
Abu Waqid al-Laithi told that when the Prophet came to Medina the people used to cut off camels' humps and cut the fat tails of sheep, so he said, “Whatever is cut off an animal when it is alive is dead* and must not be eaten.”
*i.e. it is treated as something which had died a natural death, and therefore may not be lawfully eaten.
Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud transmitted it.

I heard Sa'd (b. Abi Waqqas) saying that the idea of 'Uthman b. Maz'un for living in celibacy was rejected (by the Holy Prophet), and if he had been given permission they would have got themselves castrated.

Jews used to say: "If one has sexual intercourse with his wife from the back, then she will deliver a squint-eyed child." So this Verse was revealed:-- "Your wives are a tilth unto you; so go to your tilth when or how you will." (2.223)

Abu Huraira reported God s Messenger as saying, “If anyone performs ablution, doing it well, then goes and finds that the people have finished the prayer, God will give him a reward equivalent to that of those who prayed and were present at it without that diminishing anything from their rewards.”

وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ فَأَحْسَنَ وُضُوءَهُ ثُمَّ رَاحَ فَوَجَدَ النَّاسَ قَدْ صَلَّوْا أَعْطَاهُ اللَّهُ مِثْلَ أَجْرِ مَنْ صَلَّاهَا وَحَضَرَهَا لَا يَنْقُصُ ذَلِكَ م أُجُورهم شَيْئا» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد وَالنَّسَائِيّ

Mishkat al-Masabih 1267
Kharija b. Hudhafa told of God’s Messenger coming out to them and saying, “God has given you an extra prayer which is better for you than the high-bred camels,* the witr, which God has appointed for you between the evening prayer and the daybreak.”
* Literally “the red ones of the camels.” These were considered to be the best quality.
Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud transmitted it.
وَعَن خَارِجَة بن حذافة قَالَ: خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَالَ:
" إِنَّ اللَّهَ أَمَدَّكُمْ بِصَلَاةٍ هِيَ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ مِنْ حُمْرِ النِّعَمِ: الْوَتْرُ جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ فِيمَا بَيْنَ صَلَاةِ الْعِشَاءِ إِلَى أَنْ يَطْلُعَ الْفَجْرُ ". رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَأَبُو دَاوُد

Mishkat al-Masabih 4354
‘Imran b. Husain reported God’s Prophet as saying, “I do not ride on purple, or wear a garment dyed with saffron, or wear a shirt hemmed with silk.” He also said, “The perfume used by men should have an odour but no colour, and the perfume used by women should have a colour but no odour.”
Abu Dawud transmitted it.
وَعَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَا أَرْكَبُ الْأُرْجُوَانَ وَلَا أَلْبَسُ الْمُعَصْفَرَ وَلَا أَلْبَسُ الْقَمِيصَ الْمُكَفَّفَ بِالْحَرِيرِ» وَقَالَ: «أَلَا وَطِيبُ الرِّجَالِ رِيحٌ لَا لَوْنَ لَهُ وَطِيبُ النِّسَاءِ لَوْنٌ لَا ريح لَهُ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد

Ibn 'Umar reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and
grant him peace, said, "The strongest form of dutifulness is when a man maintains
relations with the people his father loved."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عُثْمَانَ الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي الْوَلِيدِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ: إِنَّ أَبَرَّ الْبِرِّ أَنْ يَصِلَ الرَّجُلُ أَهْلَ وُدِّ أَبِيهِ.

Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 204
Abu Musa reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless
him and grant him peace, said, "The slave who is excellent in the worship
of his Lord and fulfils the duties of obedience and counsel which he owes
to his master, has two rewards."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ بُرَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم: الْمَمْلُوكُ الَّذِي يُحْسِنُ عِبَادَةَ رَبِّهِ، وَيُؤَدِّي إِلَى سَيِّدِهِ الَّذِي فُرِضَ، الطَّاعَةُ وَالنَّصِيحَةُ، لَهُ أَجْرَانِ.

Narrated Mu'adh bin Jabal (RA) Allah's Messenger (SAW) told me, "O Mu'adh, I will give you some advice - Never leave the recitation of this supplication after every prayer:
'O Allah, help me to remember You, thank You, and worship You perfectly.'"

through a strong chain of narrators].
وَعَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ - رضى الله عنه - { أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالَ لَهُ : " أُوصِيكَ يَا مُعَاذُ : لَا تَدَعَنَّ دُبُرَ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ أَنْ تَقُولُ : اَللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ } رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ , وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ , وَالنَّسَائِيُّ بِسَنَدٍ قَوِيٍّ . 1
