“A house in which there are no dates, its people will go hungry.”

“The Messenger of Allah (saw) had hair that came between his earlobes and his shoulders.”

“On one occasion the Messenger of Allah (saw) sent sheep to the House, and he garlanded them.”

“If food is ready and the Iqamah is being given, then start with the food.”

“I did not know of the Prophet of Allah (saw) reciting the entire Qur’an until morning.”

“The bed of the Messenger of Allah (saw) was made of leather, stuffed with fibers of date-palm trees.”

The Messenger of Allah said: "O 'Uthman, if Allah places you in authority over this matter (as the caliph) some day and the hypocrites want to rid you of the garment with which Allah has clothed you (i.e., the position of caliph), do not take it off." He said that three times. (One of the narrators) Nu'man said: "I said to 'Aishah: 'What kept you from telling the people that?' She said: 'I was made to forget it.'"

We came out for performing hajj along with the Messenger of Allah (saws). When we reached al-Araj, the Messenger of Allah (saws) alighted and we also alighted. Aisha sat beside the Messenger of Allah (saws) and I sat beside my father (AbuBakr). The equipment and personal effects of AbuBakr and of the Messenger of Allah (saws) were placed with AbuBakr's slave on a camel. AbuBakr was sitting and waiting for his arrival. He arrived but he had no camel with him. He asked:

Where is your camel? He replied: I lost it last night. AbuBakr said: There was only one camel, even that you have lost. He then began to beat him while the Messenger of Allah (saws) was smiling and saying: Look at this man who is in the sacred state (putting on ihram), what is he doing?

Ibn AbuRizmah said: The Messenger of Allah (saws) spoke nothing except the words: Look at this man who is in the sacred state (wearing ihram), what is he doing? He was smiling (when he uttered these words).

"The Messenger of Allah (saws) was wearing two thick Qitri garments on. When he would sit, he would sweat since they were so heavy for him. Some clothes arrived from Ash-Sham for so-and-so, the Jew. I said: 'Perhaps you could dispatch a request to him to buy some garments (on credit) from him until it is easy (to pay). So he sent a message to him and he said: 'I know what he wants. He only wants to take away my wealth' or 'my Dirham.' So the Messenger of Allah (saws) said: 'He has lied, indeed he knows that I am the one with the most Taqwa among them, and the best at fulfilling trusts among them.'"

[He said:] There are narrations on this topic from Ibn 'Abbas, Anas, and Asma' bint Yazid.

[Abu 'Eisa said:] The Hadith of 'Aishah is Hasan Sahih Gharib Hadith. Shu'bah has also reported it from 'Umarah bin Abi Hafsah.

He said: I heard Muhammad bin Firas Al-Basri saying: "I heard Abu Dawud At-Tayalisi saying: 'One day Shu'bah was asked about this Hadith, and he said: "I will not narrate it to you (people) until you stand up before Harami bin 'Umarah [bin Hafsah] to kiss his head." He said: 'And Harami was there among the people.'"

[Abu 'Eisa said:] Meaning: "approving of this Hadith."

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Perform ablution after (eating) that which has been changed by fire.'"

"I remember when I found it (semen) on the garment of the Messenger of Allah and I scratched it off."

"The Messenger of Allah would not perform ablution after the bath to cleanse himself from sexual impurity."

"If the Messenger of Allah wanted to eat when he was sexually impure, he would perform ablution."

If the Prophet wanted to eat when he was sexually impure, he would wash his hands.

"There is no vow to commit disobedience, and the expiation (for such a vow) is the expiation for breaking an oath."

“If a man stays among a people, he should not fast without their permission.”

“One of the best actions of the fasting person is using the tooth stick.”

“Snakes are vermin, scorpions are vermin, mice are vermin and crows are vermin.”

It was narrated from ‘Aishah that the Messenger of Allah (saw) forbade standing up before the food had been cleared away.

“Fever is from the heat of the Hell-fire, so cool it down with water.”

“The Messenger of Allah (saw) commanded that use should be made of the skins of dead animals, if they were tanned.”

"Hafsah and I were both fasting when we were presented some food that we really wanted, so we ate from it. The Messenger of Allah came, and Hafsah beat me to him - she was the daughter of her father - and she said: 'O Messenger of Allah! We were both fasting when we were presented with some food that we wanted, so we ate from it.' He said: 'Make up another day in its place.'"

"I heard the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) saying: 'Whoever his account is questioned about , he shall be ruined.' I said: 'O Messenger of Allah! Indeed Allah [Most High] has said: Then as for him who shall be given his Record in his right hand. He surely will receive an easy reckoning.' Then he said: 'That is the presentation.'"

[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Sahih Hasan, Ayyub also reported it from Ibn Abi Mulaikah.

Every night, when the Prophet (saws) would go to his bed, he would join his hands, then blow in them, as he recited in them: “Say: He is Allah, the One.” And “Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of Al-Falaq” and “Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind.” Then he would wipe as much as he was able to of his body with them, beginning with them first of his head and face, and the front of his body. He would do this three times.

One of their women came upon the Messenger of Allah (saws). She then reported the rest of the tradition to the same effect; but this version she said the words: "a musk-scented piece of cloth."

Musaddad said: Abu 'Awanah used the word firsah (i.e. a piece of cloth), but Abu Al-Ahwas used the word qasrah (i.e. a small piece of cloth).

the Messenger of Allah (SAW) swore to keep away from his wives, because Zainab had sent back her gift and 'Aishah said: "She has disgraced you." He became angry and swore to keep away from them.

The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "Whoever innovates something in this matter of ours (i.e. Islam) that is not part of it, will have it rejected."

'The Messenger of Allah said: ''Ammar- no two things were shown to him but he chose the better of the two.''

"I never saw the Messenger of Allah come out of the toilet without first (cleansing himself) with water."

"A baby boy was brought to the Prophet who then urinated on him. He sprinkled over it with water and did not wash it."

"When the Messenger of Allah wanted to sleep and he was sexually impure, he would perform ablution as for prayer."

"The Messenger of Allah used to put his head in my lap when I was menstruating and recite Qur'an."

the Prophet (saw) married Aishah with the household goods the value of which was fifty Dirham.

that the Messenger of Allah said: "Choose the best for your sperm, and marry compatible women and propose marriage to them."'

"The Messenger of Allah never beat any of his servants, or wives, and his hand never hit anything."

"Aishah told me that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: 'There is no divorce and no manumission at the time of coercion.' "

It was narrated from ‘Aishah that the Messenger of Allah (saw) sacrificed one cow during the Farewell Pilgrimage on behalf of the family of Muhammad (saw).

“The Messenger of Allah (saw) commanded us to sacrifice two sheep for a boy’s ‘Aqiqah and one sheep for a girl.”

“The family of Muhammad (saw) never ate their fill of barley bread until he was taken (i.e. died).”

“I never saw the Messenger of Allah (saw) insulting anyone, and no garment was ever folded up for him.”*

“Staying in Abtah is not Sunnah; the Messenger of Allah (saw) only stayed there because it was more convenient for his departure.”

“The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: ‘Allah and His angels send blessings upon the right side of the rows.’”

“I never used to see the Prophet (saw) at the end of the night, except that he was sleeping near me.”

“By Allah! The Messenger of Allah (SAW) did not offer the funeral prayer for Suhail bin Baida’ anywhere but in the mosque.”

"Aishah dropped a necklace and stayed behind to look for it. Abu Bakr went to 'Aishah and got angry with her for keeping the people waiting. Then Allah revealed the concession allowing dry ablution, so we wiped our arms up to the shoulders. Abu Bakr went to 'Aishah and said: 'I did not know that you are blessed.'"

'Aishah said; When the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) intended to take a bath because of sexual defilement, he would begin with his hands and wash them. Then he would wash the joints of his limbs and pour water upon him when he cleansed both his (hands), he would rub them on the wall (to make them perfectly clean with the dust). Then he would perform ablution and pour water over his head.

That the Prophet (saws) "Every intoxicant is unlawful."

He said: There are narrations on this topic from 'Umar, 'Ali, Ibn Mas'ud, Anas, Abu Sa'eed, Abu Musa, Al-Ashajj, Al-Asri', Dailam, Maimunah, 'Aishah, Ibn 'Abbas, Qais bin Sa'd, An-Nu'man bin Bashir, Mu'awiyah, 'Abdullah bin Mughaffal, Umm Salamah, Buraidah, Abu Hurairah, Wa'il bin Hujr, and Qurrah Al-Muzani.

[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan. Similar was reported from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurairah, from the Prophet (saws). Both of these are Sahih. More than one narrator reported similarly from Muhammad bin 'Amr, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurairah, from the Prophet (saws), and from Abu Salamah, from Ibn 'Umar, from the Prophet (saws).

Aishah said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah(saw) say: 'There is not Zakat on wealth until Hawl (one year) has passed.' ”

that the Messenger of Allah said: 'Breast-feeding makes unlawful (for marriages) the same things that blood tie make unlawful.”

that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) set Safiyyah free, and made her ransom her dowry, and he married her.
