Sahih Muslim 1288 e
Sa'id b. Jubair reported:
We came back along with Ibn 'Umar till we reached Muzdalifa. There he led us in the sunset and 'Isha' prayers with one iqama and we then proceeded and he said: This is how Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) led us in prayer at this place.
وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي، خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ قَالَ سَعِيدُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ أَفَضْنَا مَعَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ حَتَّى أَتَيْنَا جَمْعًا فَصَلَّى بِنَا الْمَغْرِبَ وَالْعِشَاءَ بِإِقَامَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ فَقَالَ هَكَذَا صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي هَذَا الْمَكَانِ .

Sahih Muslim 1481 a
Hisham reported on the authority of his father that Yahya b. Sa'id b. al-'As married the daughter of 'Abd al-Rahman b. al-Hakam, and he divorced her and he turned her out from his house. 'Urwa (Allah be -pleased with him) criticised this (action) of theirs (the members of the family of her in-laws). They said:
Verily, Fatima too went out (of her in-laws' house). 'Urwa said: I came to 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) and told her about it and she said: There is no good for Fatima bint Qais (Allah be pleased with her) in making mention of it.
وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ، تَزَوَّجَ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْعَاصِ بِنْتَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ فَطَلَّقَهَا فَأَخْرَجَهَا مِنْ عِنْدِهِ فَعَابَ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ عُرْوَةُ فَقَالُوا إِنَّ فَاطِمَةَ قَدْ خَرَجَتْ . قَالَ عُرْوَةُ فَأَتَيْتُ عَائِشَةَ فَأَخْبَرْتُهَا بِذَلِكَ فَقَالَتْ مَا لِفَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ قَيْسٍ خَيْرٌ فِي أَنْ تَذْكُرَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ .

Anas reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying Never does a Muslim plant trees or cultivate land and birds or a man or a beast eat out of them but that is a charity on his behalf.

" مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَغْرِسُ غَرْسًا أَوْ يَزْرَعُ زَرْعًا فَيَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ طَيْرٌ أَوْ إِنْسَانٌ أَوْ بَهِيمَةٌ إِلاَّ كَانَ لَهُ بِهِ صَدَقَةٌ " .

Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1909
Muhammad bin Jubair bin Mut'im narrated from his father, that:
the Messenger of Allah said: "The one who severs ties will not enter Paradise." Ibn Abi 'Umar said: "Sufyan said: 'Meaning: Ties of the womb."
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، وَنَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ، قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" لاَ يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ قَاطِعٌ " . قَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ قَالَ سُفْيَانُ يَعْنِي قَاطِعَ رَحِمٍ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .

Ibn Abbas reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) used to supplicate (with these words) and he (uttered these words) at the time of trouble; the rest of the hadith is the same except with this difference that insted of saying:
" The Lord of heaven and the earth," he said:" The Lord of the heaven and that of the earth."

قَتَادَةَ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ
" رَبُّ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ " .

Abu Huraira reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said:
When one of you looks at one who stands at a higher level than you in regard to wealth and physical structure he should also see one who stands at a lower level than you in regard to these things (in which he stands) at a higher level (as compared to him).

إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ أَسْفَلَ مِنْهُ مِمَّنْ فُضِّلَ عَلَيْهِ " .

The Prophet said, "While a dog was going round a well and was about to die of thirst, an Israeli prostitute saw it and took off her shoe and watered it. So Allah forgave her because of that good deed."

" بَيْنَمَا كَلْبٌ يُطِيفُ بِرَكِيَّةٍ كَادَ يَقْتُلُهُ الْعَطَشُ، إِذْ رَأَتْهُ بَغِيٌّ مِنْ بَغَايَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ، فَنَزَعَتْ مُوقَهَا فَسَقَتْهُ، فَغُفِرَ لَهَا بِهِ ".

That the Meccan people requested Allah's Apostle to show them a miracle, and so he showed them the splitting of the moon.
حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ،. وَقَالَ لِي خَلِيفَةُ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُمْ أَنَّ أَهْلَ مَكَّةَ سَأَلُوا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ يُرِيَهُمْ آيَةً، فَأَرَاهُمُ انْشِقَاقَ الْقَمَرِ.

Sunan Abi Dawud 569
‘A’ishah (Allah be pleased with her), wife of the prophet (may peace be upon him), said ; if the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) had seen what the women have invented, he would have prevented them from visiting the mosque (for praying), as the women of the children of the Israel were prevented. Yahya (the narrator) said; I asked ‘Umrah ; were the women of Israel prevented? She said:
yes.
حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ بِنْتِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنَّهَا أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَتْ لَوْ أَدْرَكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَا أَحْدَثَ النِّسَاءُ لَمَنَعَهُنَّ الْمَسْجِدَ كَمَا مُنِعَهُ نِسَاءُ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ . قَالَ يَحْيَى فَقُلْتُ لِعَمْرَةَ أَمُنِعَهُ نِسَاءُ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ قَالَتْ نَعَمْ .

Sunan Abi Dawud 2468
A similar tradition has been transmitted by 'Aishah from the Prophet (saws) through a different chain of narrators.
Abu Dawud said:
And Yunus also narrated in a similar way from al-Zuhri, and no one supported Malik in his narration from 'Urwah from 'Umrah ; and Ma'mar, Ziyad b. Sad and others have also narrated it from al-Zuhri from 'Urwah on the authority of 'Aishah.

Bakr reported that he had heard from the son of Mughira that verily the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) performed ablution and wiped over his forehead and wiped over his turban and over his socks.

Narrated AbuSa'id al-Khudri:
The Messenger of Allah (saws) said: Beware of the wages of a distributor of booty (qusamah). We asked: What is qusamah (wages of a distributor)? He said: It means a thing which is shared by the people, and then it is reduced.
حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُسَافِرٍ التِّنِّيسِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الزَّمْعِيُّ، عَنِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سُرَاقَةَ، أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ ثَوْبَانَ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِيَّاكُمْ وَالْقُسَامَةَ " . قَالَ فَقُلْنَا وَمَا الْقُسَامَةُ قَالَ " الشَّىْءُ يَكُونُ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ فَيَجِيءُ فَيَنْتَقِصُ مِنْهُ " .

Narrated Ali ibn Rukanah:
Ali quoting his father said: Rukanah wrestled with the Prophet (saws) and the Prophet (saws) threw him on the ground. Rukanah said: I heard the Prophet (saws) say: The difference between us and the polytheists is that we wear turbans over caps.

" فَرْقُ مَا بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ الْعَمَائِمُ عَلَى الْقَلاَنِسِ " .

Sa'd b. Hisham reported:
I went to 'Abdullah b. 'Abbas and asked him about the Witr prayer, and the rest of the hadith is the same as recorded in this event. She (Hadrat 'A'isha) said: Who is that Hisham? I said: Son of 'Amir. She said: What a fine man 'Amir was! He died as a martyr in the Battle of Uhud.

It was
narrated that ‘Aishah said:
“The Prophet (saw) was stung by a
scorpion while he was performing prayer, and he said: ‘May Allah
curse
the scorpion, for it does not spare anyone, whether he is
praying or
not. Kill them whether you are in Ihram or not.’” In
Al-Hill (outside
the sacred precincts of Makkah) or Al-Haram (the
sacred precincts or
Makkah).

" لَعَنَ اللَّهُ الْعَقْرَبَ مَا تَدَعُ الْمُصَلِّيَ وَغَيْرَ الْمُصَلِّي اقْتُلُوهَا فِي الْحِلِّ وَالْحَرَمِ " .

It was
narrated from Abu Mas’ud that the Prophet (SAW) said:
“The
Muslim
has four things due from the Muslim: He should answer [by
saying
Yarhamuk-Allah (may Allah have mercy on you)] to him if he
sneezes
(and says Al-Hamdulillah); he should accept his invitation if
he
invites him; he should attend his funeral if he dies; and he should
visit him if he falls sick.”

It was narrated that 'Umar bin Al-Khattab said:
"The prayer of Al-Adha is two rak'ahs, the prayer of Al-Fitr is two rak'ahs, the prayer of the traveler is two rak'ahs and the jumu'ah prayer is two rak'ahs, complete and not shortened, upon the tongue of the Prophet (SAW).

That the Messenger of Allah (SAW) used to recite in witr: Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High;" and "Say: O you disbelievers!;' and 'Say: He is Allah, (the) One.'"

from his paternal uncle, that he saw the Prophet (SAW) reclining in the Masjid, and placing one of his feet atop another.
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ، وَغَيْرُ، وَاحِدٍ، قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عن عَبَّادِ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مُسْتَلْقِيًا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ وَاضِعًا إِحْدَى رِجْلَيْهِ عَلَى الأُخْرَى . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ . وَعَمُّ عَبَّادِ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ هُوَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ الْمَازِنِيُّ .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 3672
It was narrated from An-Nu'man bin Bashir that his father gave him a slave as a present, then he came to the Prophet to ask him to bear witness (to that). He said:
"Have you given a present to all of your children?" He said: "No." He said: "Then take it back." This wording is that of (one of the narrators) Muhammad.

Jabir b. `Abdullah (Allah be pleased with them) reported that when Asma' bint `Umais gave birth (to a child) in Dhu'l-Hulaifa. Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) commanded Abu Bakr (to convey to her) that she should take a bath and enter into the state of Ihram.

" الْغِيَالِ " .

Abu Sa'eed narrated that :
Allah's Messenger said: "the key to Salat is the purification, its Tahrim is the Takbir, and its Tahlilis the Taslim, and there is no Salat for one who did not recite Al-Hamd and a Surah in the obligatory (prayer) or other prayers."
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ وَكِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفُضَيْلِ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، طَرِيفٍ السَّعْدِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مِفْتَاحُ الصَّلاَةِ الطُّهُورُ وَتَحْرِيمُهَا التَّكْبِيرُ وَتَحْلِيلُهَا التَّسْلِيمُ وَلاَ صَلاَةَ لِمَنْ لَمْ يَقْرَأْ بــ"الْحَمْدُ" وَسُورَةٍ _ فِي فَرِيضَةٍ أَوْ غَيْرِهَا " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ . وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ وَعَائِشَةَ . قَالَ وَحَدِيثُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ فِي هَذَا أَجْوَدُ إِسْنَادًا وَأَصَحُّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ وَقَدْ كَتَبْنَاهُ فِي أَوَّلِ كِتَابِ الْوُضُوءِ . وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَيْهِ عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَمَنْ بَعْدَهُمْ . وَبِهِ يَقُولُ سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ وَابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ وَالشَّافِعِيُّ وَأَحْمَدُ وَإِسْحَاقُ أَنَّ تَحْرِيمَ الصَّلاَةِ التَّكْبِيرُ وَلاَ يَكُونُ الرَّجُلُ دَاخِلاً فِي الصَّلاَةِ إِلاَّ بِالتَّكْبِيرِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَسَمِعْتُ أَبَا بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ أَبَانَ مُسْتَمْلِيَ وَكِيعٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ مَهْدِيٍّ يَقُولُ لَوِ افْتَتَحَ الرَّجُلُ الصَّلاَةَ بِسَبْعِينَ اسْمًا مِنْ أَسْمَاءِ اللَّهِ وَلَمْ يُكَبِّرْ لَمْ يُجْزِهِ وَإِنْ أَحْدَثَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسَلِّمَ أَمَرْتُهُ أَنْ يَتَوَضَّأَ ثُمَّ يَرْجِعَ إِلَى مَكَانِهِ فَيُسَلِّمَ إِنَّمَا الأَمْرُ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ . قَالَ وَأَبُو نَضْرَةَ اسْمُهُ الْمُنْذِرُ بْنُ مَالِكِ بْنِ قُطَعَةَ .

Narrated Abu Hurairah:
that the Messenger of Allah (saws) said: "The injuries caused by the animal are without liability, and wells are without liability, and mines are without liability, and the Khumus is due on Rikaz."

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، وَأَبِي، سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَحْوَهُ . قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ وَعَمْرِو بْنِ عَوْفٍ الْمُزَنِيِّ وَعُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ . حَدَّثَنَا الأَنْصَارِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْنٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ وَتَفْسِيرُ حَدِيثِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " الْعَجْمَاءُ جُرْحُهَا جُبَارٌ " . يَقُولُ هَدَرٌ لاَ دِيَةَ فِيهِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَمَعْنَى قَوْلِهِ " الْعَجْمَاءُ جُرْحُهَا جُبَارٌ " . فَسَّرَ ذَلِكَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ قَالُوا الْعَجْمَاءُ الدَّابَّةُ الْمُنْفَلِتَةُ مِنْ صَاحِبِهَا فَمَا أَصَابَتْ فِي انْفِلاَتِهَا فَلاَ غُرْمَ عَلَى صَاحِبِهَا . " وَالْمَعْدِنُ جُبَارٌ " . يَقُولُ إِذَا احْتَفَرَ الرَّجُلُ مَعْدِنًا فَوَقَعَ فِيهَا إِنْسَانٌ فَلاَ غُرْمَ عَلَيْهِ وَكَذَلِكَ الْبِئْرُ إِذَا احْتَفَرَهَا الرَّجُلُ لِلسَّبِيلِ فَوَقَعَ فِيهَا إِنْسَانٌ فَلاَ غُرْمَ عَلَى صَاحِبِهَا . " وَفِي الرِّكَازِ الْخُمُسُ " . وَالرِّكَازُ مَا وُجِدَ فِي دَفْنِ أَهْلِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ . فَمَنْ وَجَدَ رِكَازًا أَدَّى مِنْهُ الْخُمُسَ إِلَى السُّلْطَانِ وَمَا بَقِيَ فَهُوَ لَهُ .

"Jibra'il kept enjoining good treatment of neighbours untol I thought that he would make neigbours heirs."

Sunan Abi Dawud 3308
Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas:
A woman made a voyage and vowed that she would fast one month if Allah made her reach her destination with peace and security. Allah made her reach her destination with security but she died before she could fast. Her daughter or sister (the narrator doubted) came to the Messenger of Allah (saws). So he commanded to fast on her behalf.
حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، : أَنَّ امْرَأَةً، رَكِبَتِ الْبَحْرَ فَنَذَرَتْ إِنْ نَجَّاهَا اللَّهُ أَنْ تَصُومَ شَهْرًا، فَنَجَّاهَا اللَّهُ فَلَمْ تَصُمْ حَتَّى مَاتَتْ، فَجَاءَتِ ابْنَتُهَا أَوْ أُخْتُهَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَمَرَهَا أَنْ تَصُومَ عَنْهَا .

Bulugh al-Maram 582
Damrah bin Habib (one of the Tabi'in or the followers of the Companions) narrated, ‘They (the Companions that he met) recommended that after the grave is leveled and the people leave, that one should stand by the grave and say three times to the deceased, 'O so-and-so, say:
"There is no god but Allah”, 'O so-and-so, say: "Allah is my Lord, Islam is my din (religion), and Muhammad is my prophet.” Related by Sa'id bin Mansur.
وَعَنْ ضَمْرَةَ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ أَحَدِ التَّابِعِينَ قَالَ: { كَانُوا يَسْتَحِبُّونَ إِذَا سُوِّيَ عَلَى الْمَيِّتِ قَبْرُهُ, وَانْصَرَفَ اَلنَّاسُ عَنْهُ, أَنْ يُقَالَ عِنْدَ قَبْرِهِ: يَا فُلَانُ! قُلْ: لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اَللَّهُ. ثَلَاثُ مَرَّاتٍ, يَا فُلَانُ! قُلْ: رَبِّيَ اللَّهُ, وَدِينِيَ الْإِسْلَامُ, وَنَبِيِّ مُحَمَّدٌ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -} رَوَاهُ سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ مَوْقُوفًا . 1 .

The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: When the reciter (Imam) utters:" Not of those on whom (is Thine) wrath and not the erring ones," and (the person) behind him utters Amin and his utterance synchronises with that of the dwellers of heavens, all his previous sins would be pardoned.

No prayer is valid after the 'Asr prayer till the sun sets and no prayer is valid after the dawn prayer till the sun rises.
وَحَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، أَنَّ ابْنَ شِهَابٍ، أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَطَاءُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ اللَّيْثِيُّ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ، يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم

" لاَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يَكْثُرَ الْمَالُ وَيَفِيضَ حَتَّى يَخْرُجَ الرَّجُلُ بِزَكَاةِ مَالِهِ فَلاَ يَجِدُ أَحَدًا يَقْبَلُهَا مِنْهُ وَحَتَّى تَعُودَ أَرْضُ الْعَرَبِ مُرُوجًا وَأَنْهَارًا " .

Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (Allah be pleased with him) reported:
We went out on an expedition with Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) on the 16th of Ramadan. Some of us fasted and some of us broke the fast. But neither the observer of the fast found fault with one who broke it, nor the breaker of the fast found fault with one who observed it.

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Allah smiles at three things: a row in the prayer, a man who prays in the depths of the night, and a man who fights' I think he said, 'behind the battalion.'"

The Prophet said: "A muslim does not regularly attend the mosques to perform prayer and remember Allah, but Allah feels happy with him just as the family of one who is absent feels happy when he comes back to them."

" مَا تَوَطَّنَ رَجُلٌ مُسْلِمٌ الْمَسَاجِدَ لِلصَّلاَةِ وَالذِّكْرِ إِلاَّ تَبَشْبَشَ اللَّهُ لَهُ كَمَا يَتَبَشْبَشُ أَهْلُ الْغَائِبِ بِغَائِبِهِمْ إِذَا قَدِمَ عَلَيْهِمْ " .

The Messenger of Allah said: "If you see a man frequenting the mosques, then bear witness to his faith. Allah says: 'The mosques of Allah shall be maintained only by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day. [At-Taubah: 18]'"

It was
narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (SAW) said:
“Whoever
offers the funeral prayer will have one Qirat and whoever
awaits
until (the burial) is finished will have two Qirat.” They said:
‘What are these two Qirat?’ He said: ‘Like two mountains.’”

Musnad Ahmad 1096
It was narrated that Sa’eed bin al-Musayyab said:
‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) said: I said: O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), shall I not tell you about the most beautiful girl of Quraish? He said: “who is she?` I said: The daughter of Hamzah. He said: `Don`t you know that she is the daughter of my brother through breastfeeding? Allah has forbidden (for marriage) through breastfeeding that which He has forbidden through blood ties.”
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، قَالَ قَالَ عَلِيٌّ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلَا أَدُلُّكَ عَلَى أَجْمَلِ فَتَاةٍ فِي قُرَيْشٍ قَالَ وَمَنْ هِيَ قُلْتُ ابْنَةُ حَمْزَةَ قَالَ أَمَا عَلِمْتَ أَنَّهَا ابْنَةُ أَخِي مِنْ الرَّضَاعَةِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ حَرَّمَ مِنْ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا حَرَّمَ مِنْ النَّسَبِ.

Musnad Ahmad 1157
It was narrated that Qatadah said:
I heard Jurayy bin Kulaib say: I heard ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) say: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade (sacrificing) an animal that had lost most of its horn or ear. Qatadah said: I asked Sa`eed bin Al-Musayyab: What does lost most of its ear mean? He said: If it has lost half or more of it.
حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، حَدَّثَنِي شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جُرَيَّ بْنَ كُلَيْبٍ، يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ عَلِيًّا، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يَقُولُ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ عَضَبِ الْقَرْنِ وَالْأُذُنِ قَالَ قَتَادَةُ فَسَأَلْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيَّبِ قَالَ قُلْتُ مَا عَضَبُ الْأُذُنِ فَقَالَ إِذَا كَانَ النِّصْفَ أَوْ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ.

It was narrated from Abu Zayban that `Ali (رضي الله عنه) said to `Umar:
O Ameer al-Mu`mineen, did you not hear the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: `The Pen has been lifted from three :from the sleeper until he wakes up, from the minor until he grows up and from the insane until he comes to his senses`?
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ أَبِي ظَبْيَانَ، أَنَّ عَلِيًّا، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ لِعُمَرَ يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَمَا سَمِعْتَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ رُفِعَ الْقَلَمُ عَنْ ثَلَاثَةٍ عَنْ النَّائِمِ حَتَّى يَسْتَيْقِظَ وَعَنْ الصَّغِيرِ حَتَّى يَكْبَرَ وَعَنْ الْمُبْتَلَى حَتَّى يَعْقِلَ.

Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Said that Abu Qatada al-Ansari said to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, "I have a lot of hair which comes down to my shoulders, shall I comb it?'' The Messenger of Allah. may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Yes, and honour it." Sometimes Abu Qatada oiled it twice in one day because the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said to him. "Honour it."
حَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، أَنَّ أَبَا قَتَادَةَ الأَنْصَارِيَّ، قَالَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِنَّ لِي جُمَّةً أَفَأُرَجِّلُهَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " نَعَمْ وَأَكْرِمْهَا " فَكَانَ أَبُو قَتَادَةَ رُبَّمَا دَهَنَهَا فِي الْيَوْمِ مَرَّتَيْنِ لِمَا قَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " وَأَكْرِمْهَا " .

Narrated Ibn `Abbas:
When the Prophet arrived at Medina, the Jews were observing the fast on 'Ashura' (10th of Muharram) and they said, "This is the day when Moses became victorious over Pharaoh," On that, the Prophet said to his companions, "You (Muslims) have more right to celebrate Moses' victory than they have, so observe the fast on this day."
حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ قَدِمَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم الْمَدِينَةَ وَالْيَهُودُ تَصُومُ عَاشُورَاءَ فَقَالُوا هَذَا يَوْمٌ ظَهَرَ فِيهِ مُوسَى عَلَى فِرْعَوْنَ. فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم لأَصْحَابِهِ
" أَنْتُمْ أَحَقُّ بِمُوسَى مِنْهُمْ، فَصُومُوا ".

that he passed by a group of people in front of whom there was a roasted sheep. They invited him but he refused to eat and said, "Allah's Apostle left this world without satisfying his hunger even with barley bread."
حَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَخْبَرَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّهُ مَرَّ بِقَوْمٍ بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ شَاةٌ مَصْلِيَّةٌ، فَدَعَوْهُ فَأَبَى أَنْ يَأْكُلَ قَالَ خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَلَمْ يَشْبَعْ مِنَ الْخُبْزِ الشَّعِيرِ.

I heard Allah's Apostle saying, "There is healing in black cumin for all diseases except death."

" فِي الْحَبَّةِ السَّوْدَاءِ شِفَاءٌ مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ إِلاَّ السَّامَ ". قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ وَالسَّامُ الْمَوْتُ، وَالْحَبَّةُ السَّوْدَاءُ الشُّونِيزُ.

Sunan an-Nasa'i 1222
It was narrated that Abdullah bin Buhainah said:
"The Messenger of Allah (SAW) led us in praying two rak'ahs, then he stood up and did not sit, and the people stood up with him. When he finished the prayer, and we were waiting for him to say the taslim, he said the takbir and prostrated twice while sitting, before the taslim. Then he said the taslim."
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ابْنِ بُحَيْنَةَ، قَالَ صَلَّى لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ قَامَ فَلَمْ يَجْلِسْ فَقَامَ النَّاسُ مَعَهُ فَلَمَّا قَضَى صَلاَتَهُ وَنَظَرْنَا تَسْلِيمَهُ كَبَّرَ فَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ قَبْلَ التَّسْلِيمِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ .

Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri:
The Prophet said, "Allah will say (on the Day of Resurrection), 'O Adam!' Adam will reply, 'Labbaik wa Sa`daik! ' Then a loud Voice will be heard (Saying) 'Allah Commands you to take out the mission of the Hell Fire from your offspring.' "
حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصِ بْنِ غِيَاثٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" يَقُولُ اللَّهُ يَا آدَمُ. فَيَقُولُ لَبَّيْكَ وَسَعْدَيْكَ. فَيُنَادَى بِصَوْتٍ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْمُرُكَ أَنْ تُخْرِجَ مِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِكَ بَعْثًا إِلَى النَّارِ ".

Yahya related to me from Malik that Yahya ibn Said said, "A Bedouin came into the mosque and uncovered his private parts to urinate. The people called out to him and began to raise their voices but the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said ,'Let him be. 'So they let him be and he urinated. Then the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, ordered a bucketful of water to be brought and it was poured on the place."
حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ دَخَلَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ الْمَسْجِدَ فَكَشَفَ عَنْ فَرْجِهِ لِيَبُولَ فَصَاحَ النَّاسُ بِهِ حَتَّى عَلاَ الصَّوْتُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" اتْرُكُوهُ " . فَتَرَكُوهُ فَبَالَ ثُمَّ أَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِذَنُوبٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ فَصُبَّ عَلَى ذَلِكَ الْمَكَانِ .

Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Said that A'isha, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "I saw three moons fall into my room, and I related my vision to Abu Bakr as-Siddiq. Then, when the Messenger of Allah died, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and was buried in my house, Abu Bakr said to me, 'This is one of your moons, and he is the best of them.' "
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ، زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَتْ رَأَيْتُ ثَلاَثَةَ أَقْمَارٍ سَقَطْنَ فِي حُجْرَتِي فَقَصَصْتُ رُؤْيَاىَ عَلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ قَالَتْ فَلَمَّا تُوُفِّيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَدُفِنَ فِي بَيْتِهَا قَالَ لَهَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ هَذَا أَحَدُ أَقْمَارِكِ وَهُوَ خَيْرُهَا .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 2920
It was narrated from Ibn Abbas:
That the Prophet passed by while he was circumambulating the Kabah with a man who was leading another with a ring in his nose. The Messenger of Allah stopped him with his hand then told him to lead him by his hand.
أَخْبَرَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ الأَحْوَلُ، أَنَّ طَاوُسًا، أَخْبَرَهُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَرَّ وَهُوَ يَطُوفُ بِالْكَعْبَةِ بِإِنْسَانٍ يَقُودُهُ إِنْسَانٌ بِخِزَامَةٍ فِي أَنْفِهِ فَقَطَعَهُ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِيَدِهِ ثُمَّ أَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَقُودَهُ بِيَدِهِ .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 2713
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that:
a man fell from his mount and it trampled him. The Messenger of Allah said: "Wash him with water and lotus leaves, and he should be shrouded in two clothes, leaving his head and face bare, for he will be raised on the Day of Resurrection reciting the Talbiyah."(sahih)
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بِشْرٍ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، وَقَعَ عَنْ رَاحِلَتِهِ، فَأَقْعَصَتْهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" اغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَيُكَفَّنُ فِي ثَوْبَيْنِ خَارِجًا رَأْسُهُ وَوَجْهُهُ فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُلَبِّيًا " .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 2346
It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said:
"The Messenger of Allah would fast until we said he would not break his fast, and he would not fast until we said he does not want to fast. And he never fasted any month in full apart from Ramadan, from the time he came to Al-Madinah."
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَصُومُ حَتَّى نَقُولَ لاَ يُفْطِرُ وَيُفْطِرُ حَتَّى نَقُولَ مَا يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَصُومَ وَمَا صَامَ شَهْرًا مُتَتَابِعًا غَيْرَ رَمَضَانَ مُنْذُ قَدِمَ الْمَدِينَةَ .

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet said:
"No tow-dweller should sell for desert-dweller, no man should outbid his brother; and no woman should ask for her sister (in faith) to be divorced so as to turn over what is in her bowl (deprive her of her share of maintenance)"
حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" لاَ يَبِيعُ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ وَلاَ تَنَاجَشُوا وَلاَ يَزِيدُ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى بَيْعِ أَخِيهِ وَلاَ تَسْأَلُ الْمَرْأَةُ طَلاَقَ أُخْتِهَا لِتَسْتَكْفِئَ بِهِ مَا فِي صَحْفَتِهَا " .

Narrated Abu Hurairah:
that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "Five are from the Fitrah: Cutting the pubic hair, circumcision, paring the mustache, plucking the under arm hair and trimming the fingernails."
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحُلْوَانِيُّ الْخَلاَّلُ، وَغَيْرُ، وَاحِدٍ، قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" خَمْسٌ مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ الاِسْتِحْدَادُ وَالْخِتَانُ وَقَصُّ الشَّارِبِ وَنَتْفُ الإِبْطِ وَتَقْلِيمُ الأَظْفَارِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 620
It was narrated from Ma'mar, from Az-Zuhri, from Sa'eed bin Al-Musayyab, that Abu Hurairah said:
"The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: 'Whoever forgets a prayer, let him pray it when he remembers it, for Allah says: "and perform prayer when you remember (li dhikra).'" I said to Az-Zuhri: "Is that how the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) recited it?" He said: "Yes."
أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَنْ نَسِيَ صَلاَةً فَلْيُصَلِّهَا إِذَا ذَكَرَهَا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى يَقُولُ { أَقِمِ الصَّلاَةِ لِلذِّكْرَى } " . قُلْتُ لِلزُّهْرِيِّ هَكَذَا قَرَأَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ نَعَمْ .

Narrated Sa'id:
and the narrator Musa said: As far as Amr thinks, the Prophet (saws) said: The whole earth is a place of prayer except public baths and graveyards.

Masruq reported:
I heard 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) clapping her hands behind the curtain and saying: I used to weave garlands for the sacrificial animals of Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) with my own hands, and then he (the Holy Prophet) sent them (to Mecca), and he did not avoid doing anything which a Muhritn avoids until his animal was sacrificed.
وَحَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ، وَهْىَ مِنْ وَرَاءِ الْحِجَابِ تُصَفِّقُ وَتَقُولُ كُنْتُ أَفْتِلُ قَلاَئِدَ هَدْىِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِيَدَىَّ ثُمَّ يَبْعَثُ بِهَا وَمَا يُمْسِكُ عَنْ شَىْءٍ مِمَّا يُمْسِكُ عَنْهُ الْمُحْرِمُ حَتَّى يُنْحَرَ هَدْيُهُ.

Ibn 'Abbas (Allah be pleased with them) reported that the people used to return through every path, whereupon Allah's Messenger (way peace be upon him) said:
None amongst you should depart until he performs the last circumambulation round the House. Zuhair said (the words are): [ARABIC: YANSWARIFUWN KULLA WAJH] and the word [arabic: FIY] was not mentioned.

فَأَوْحَى اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ فَهَلاَّ نَمْلَةً وَاحِدَةً " .

I perceive as if I am looking towards that dromedary, and in the hadith transmitted on the authority of Thaqafi (the words are):" Unload it and make its back bare for it is accursed."

Abu Huraira reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said to a woman of the Ansar:
In case anyone amongst you sees the sad demise of three children of (hers) and she resigns herself to the will of God hoping to get reward, she would be admitted to Paradise. A woman from amongst them said: Allah's Messenger, even if they (the children who die) are two. Thereupon, he (the Holy Prophet, ) said: Even if they are two.

يَمُوتُ لإِحْدَاكُنَّ ثَلاَثَةٌ مِنَ الْوَلَدِ فَتَحْتَسِبَهُ إِلاَّ دَخَلَتِ الْجَنَّةَ " . فَقَالَتِ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْهُنَّ أَوِ اثْنَيْنِ
يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ " أَوِ اثْنَيْنِ " .

Narrated Aisha:
The Prophet called the Salamander, a mischief-doer. I have not heard him ordering that it should be killed. Sa`d bin Waqqas claims that the Prophet ordered that it should be killed.
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عُفَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ لِلْوَزَغِ الْفُوَيْسِقُ. وَلَمْ أَسْمَعْهُ أَمَرَ بِقَتْلِهِ. وَزَعَمَ سَعْدُ بْنُ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَمَرَ بِقَتْلِهِ.

Abu hurairah reported the prophet (peace be upon him) as saying :
A prophet got down beneath a tree and he was stung by an ant. He ordered regarding the baggage and it was removed from beneath it. He then ordered regarding it and it was burnt. Allah then revealed to him : why not (just) one ant?

Salamah bin Kuhail said “I saw Sa’id bin Jubair he called the iqamah at Al Muzdalifah and offered three ra’kahs of the sunset prayer and two ra’kahs of the night prayer. He then said “I attended Ibn ‘Umar.” He did like this in this place and he (Ibn ‘Umar) said “I attended the Apostle of Allaah(saws)”. He did in a similar way in this place.
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي سَلَمَةُ بْنُ كُهَيْلٍ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ أَقَامَ بِجَمْعٍ فَصَلَّى الْمَغْرِبَ ثَلاَثًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى الْعِشَاءَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ قَالَ شَهِدْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ صَنَعَ فِي هَذَا الْمَكَانِ مِثْلَ هَذَا وَقَالَ شَهِدْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم صَنَعَ مِثْلَ هَذَا فِي هَذَا الْمَكَانِ .

Abu Sa’Id al-Khudri said; The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) saw a tendency among his companions to go to the back. He said to them; come forward and follow my lead, and let those who come after you follow your lead people will continue to keep to the back till Allah would put them at the back.

" تَقَدَّمُوا فَائْتَمُّوا بِي وَلْيَأْتَمَّ بِكُمْ مَنْ بَعْدَكُمْ وَلاَ يَزَالُ قَوْمٌ يَتَأَخَّرُونَ حَتَّى يُؤَخِّرَهُمُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " .

Sunan Abi Dawud 2417
Narrated Abu Sa’id Al Khudri :
The Messenger of Allah (saws) forbade fasting on two days, al-Fitr (breaking the fast of Ramadan) and al-Adha (the day of sacrifice), and wearing a tight single garment the raising of which discloses private parts, and sitting with one's legs drawn up and wrapped in one's garment, and forbade praying at two hours, after the Fajr prayer and after the Asr prayer.

" رَجُلٌ يُجَاهِدُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بِنَفْسِهِ وَمَالِهِ وَرَجُلٌ يَعْبُدُ اللَّهَ فِي شِعْبٍ مِنَ الشِّعَابِ قَدْ كُفِيَ النَّاسُ شَرَّهُ " .

Sa'id al-Maqburi reported from his father that the Messenger of
Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Beware of avarice.
It destroyed those before you. They shed one another's blood and broke
off relations with their relatives. Injustice will appear as darkness on
the Day of Rising."

children. Make him live long and forgive him.'

We went out on an expedition with the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) during Ramadan and neither the observer of the fast was found fault with for his fasting, nor the breaker of the fast for breaking it.
حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرٌ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُفَضَّلٍ - عَنْ أَبِي مَسْلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ كُنَّا نُسَافِرُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي رَمَضَانَ فَمَا يُعَابُ عَلَى الصَّائِمِ صَوْمُهُ وَلاَ عَلَى الْمُفْطِرِ إِفْطَارُهُ .

Sunan Ibn Majah 2898
It was
narrated from Abu Sa’eed that the Messenger of Allah (saw)
said:
“No woman should travel the distance of three days or more,
unless
she is with her father, brother, son, husband or a Mahram.”

" لاَ تُسَافِرُ الْمَرْأَةُ سَفَرَ ثَلاَثَةِ أَيَّامٍ فَصَاعِدًا إِلاَّ مَعَ أَبِيهَا أَوْ أَخِيهَا أَوِ ابْنِهَا أَوْ زَوْجِهَا أَوْ ذِي مَحْرَمٍ " .

Sunan Ibn Majah 2899
It was
narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (saw) said:
“It is
not
permissible for a woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to
travel for more than one day’s distance without a Mahram.”
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا شَبَابَةُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ
" لاَ يَحِلُّ لاِمْرَأَةٍ تُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ أَنْ تُسَافِرَ مَسِيرَةَ يَوْمٍ وَاحِدٍ لَيْسَ لَهَا ذُو حُرْمَةٍ " .

“If anyone of you sees a dream that he dislikes, let him turn

and spit dryly to his left three times, and ask Allah for its
good
and seek refuge from its evil.”

" إِذَا رَأَى أَحَدُكُمْ رُؤْيَا يَكْرَهُهَا فَلْيَتَحَوَّلْ وَلْيَتْفِلْ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ ثَلاَثًا وَلْيَسْأَلِ اللَّهَ مِنْ خَيْرِهَا وَلْيَتَعَوَّذْ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ شَرِّهَا " .

It was narrated that ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) said:
When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) recited ruqyah for a sick person, said: “Remove the hardship and suffering. Lord of mankind, and grant healing, for You are the Healer and there is no healing except Your healing; (grant) healing which does not leave any sickness behind.`
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ، مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا عَوَّذَ مَرِيضًا قَالَ أَذْهِبْ الْبَاسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا.

Musnad Ahmad 1364
It was narrated from `Ali (رضي الله عنه) that The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) cursed the one who consumes riba, the one who pays it, the two who witness it, the one who writes it down, the one who marries a woman and divorces her so that she becomes permissible for her first husband, and the one for whom that is done, the woman who does tattoos and the woman who has tattoos done, and the one who withholds zakah. And he forbade wailing (for the deceased).
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حُصَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَعَنَ آكِلَ الرِّبَا وَمُوكِلَهُ وَشَاهِدَيْهِ وَكَاتِبَهُ وَالْمُحِلَّ وَالْمُحَلَّلَ لَهُ وَالْوَاشِمَةَ وَالْمُسْتَوْشِمَةَ وَمَانِعَ الصَّدَقَةِ وَنَهَى عَنْ النَّوْحِ.

Narrated Sa`id bin Jubair:
I asked Ibn `Abbas about Allah's saying:-- '.. this reward is Hell Fire.' (4.93) He said, "No repentance is accepted from him (i.e. the murderer of a believer)." I asked him regarding the saying of Allah: 'Those who invoke not with Allah any other god.' ...(25.68) He said, "This Verse was revealed concerning the pagans of the pre-lslamic period."

Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri:
The Prophet said, "If while you are praying, somebody intends to pass in front of you, prevent him; and should he insist, prevent him again; and if he insists again, fight with him (i.e. prevent him violently e.g. pushing him violently), because such a person is (like) a devil."

Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri added that the Prophet further said:
"I will say those
people are from me. It will be said, 'You do not know what changes and new things they did after
you.' Then I will say, 'Far removed (from mercy), far removed (from mercy), those who changed (the
religion) after me!"
قَالَ أَبُو حَازِمٍ فَسَمِعَنِي النُّعْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي عَيَّاشٍ، وَأَنَا أُحَدِّثُهُمْ، هَذَا فَقَالَ هَكَذَا سَمِعْتَ سَهْلاً، فَقُلْتُ نَعَمْ. قَالَ وَأَنَا أَشْهَدُ، عَلَى أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ لَسَمِعْتُهُ يَزِيدُ فِيهِ قَالَ
" إِنَّهُمْ مِنِّي. فَيُقَالُ إِنَّكَ لاَ تَدْرِي مَا بَدَّلُوا بَعْدَكَ فَأَقُولُ سُحْقًا سُحْقًا لِمَنْ بَدَّلَ بَعْدِي ".

The the above hadith was narrated by Anas through another chain and said (with the wording) "and every man had his head wrapped in his garment and weeping". And he said (with the wording) "seeking refuge with Allah from the evil of afflictions" or he said "I seek refuge with Allah from the evil of afflictions."
وَقَالَ عَبَّاسٌ النَّرْسِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، أَنَّ أَنَسًا، حَدَّثَهُمْ أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِهَذَا وَقَالَ كُلُّ رَجُلٍ لاَفًّا رَأْسَهُ فِي ثَوْبِهِ يَبْكِي. وَقَالَ عَائِذًا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ سُوءِ الْفِتَنِ. أَوْ قَالَ أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ سُوءِ الْفِتَنِ.

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ata al-Khurasani that he heard Said ibn al Musayyab say, "A traveller who has decided to remain somewhere for four nights does the prayer in full."
Malik said, "That is what I prefer most out of what I have heard."
Malik when asked about the prayer of a prisoner, said, "It is the same as the prayer of a person who remains in one place, except if he is travelling."
حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ الْخُرَاسَانِيِّ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيَّبِ، قَالَ مَنْ أَجْمَعَ إِقَامَةً أَرْبَعَ لَيَالٍ وَهُوَ مُسَافِرٌ أَتَمَّ الصَّلاَةَ . قَالَ مَالِكٌ وَذَلِكَ أَحَبُّ مَا سَمِعْتُ إِلَىَّ . وَسُئِلَ مَالِكٌ عَنْ صَلاَةِ الأَسِيرِ فَقَالَ مِثْلُ صَلاَةِ الْمُقِيمِ إِلاَّ أَنْ يَكُونَ مُسَافِرًا .

Yahya related to me from Malik from Amr ibn Yahya al-Mazini that his father said that he had heard Abu Said al-Khudri say that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "There is no zakat on less than five camels, there is no zakat on less than five awaq (two hundred dirhams of pure silver) and there is no zakat on less than five awsuq (three hundred sa)."
حَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ يَحْيَى الْمَازِنِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ، يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم :
" لَيْسَ فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسِ ذَوْدٍ صَدَقَةٌ، وَلَيْسَ فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسِ أَوَاقٍ صَدَقَةٌ، وَلَيْسَ فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسَةِ أَوْسُقٍ صَدَقَةٌ " .

Narrated Abu Mas`ud Al-Ansari:
Whenever Allah's Apostle (p.b.u.h) ordered us to give in charity, we used to go to the market and work as porters and get a Mudd (a special measure of grain) and then give it in charity. (Those were the days of poverty) and today some of us have one hundred thousand.
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ شَقِيقٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ الأَنْصَارِيِّ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا أَمَرَنَا بِالصَّدَقَةِ انْطَلَقَ أَحَدُنَا إِلَى السُّوقِ فَتَحَامَلَ فَيُصِيبُ الْمُدَّ، وَإِنَّ لِبَعْضِهِمُ الْيَوْمَ لَمِائَةَ أَلْفٍ.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah said:
"There are four whom Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, hates: The vendor who sells his wares by means of false oaths, the poor man who shows off, the old man who commits Zina and the Imam who is unjust."
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَارِمٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" أَرْبَعَةٌ يُبْغِضُهُمُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ الْبَيَّاعُ الْحَلاَّفُ وَالْفَقِيرُ الْمُخْتَالُ وَالشَّيْخُ الزَّانِي وَالإِمَامُ الْجَائِرُ " .

"When Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, married Fatimah, may Allah be pleased with her, the Messenger of Allah said to him: 'Give her something.' He said: 'I do not have anything.' He said: 'Where is your Hutami armor?'"
أَخْبَرَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَبْدَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ لَمَّا تَزَوَّجَ عَلِيٌّ رضى الله عنه فَاطِمَةَ رضى الله عنها قَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَعْطِهَا شَيْئًا " . قَالَ مَا عِنْدِي . قَالَ " فَأَيْنَ دِرْعُكَ الْحُطَمِيَّةُ " .

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ - عَنْ أَبِي الْيَمَانِ، عَنْ أُمِّ ذَرَّةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ كُنْتُ إِذَا حِضْتُ نَزَلْتُ عَنِ الْمِثَالِ عَلَى الْحَصِيرِ فَلَمْ نَقْرُبْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَلَمْ نَدْنُ مِنْهُ حَتَّى نَطْهُرَ .
