Narrated Fadala bin 'Ubaid (RA):
I bought a necklace for twelve Dinars at the battle of Khaibar and it contained gold and gems. I considered them separately and found that it was worth more than twelve Dinars. I told the Prophet (SAW) about that and he said, "It must not be sold till the contents are considered separately."

وَعَنْ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: { اِشْتَرَيْتُ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ قِلَادَةً بِاِثْنَيْ عَشَرَ دِينَاراً, فِيهَا ذَهَبٌ وَخَرَزٌ، فَفَصَلْتُهَا 1 فَوَجَدْتُ فِيهَا أَكْثَرَ مِنْ اِثْنَيْ عَشَرَ دِينَاراً, فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -فَقَالَ: " لَا تُبَاعُ حَتَّى تُفْصَلَ } رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ 2 .

Ibn 'Umar reported:
The Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) used to say prayer towards his camel. Ibn Numair said: The Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) said prayer towards the camel.

'Abdullah (b. Mas'ud) reported:
The Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) said five rak'ahs of the noon prayer and when he completed the prayer, It was said to him: Has there been (commanded) an addition In prayer? He said: What is it? They said: You have said five rak'ahs, so he performed two prostrations.

" وَمَا ذَاكَ " . قَالُوا صَلَّيْتَ خَمْسًا . فَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ .

When it was the day (of the Battle) of Ahzab, the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: May Allah fill their graves and houses with fire, as they detained us and diverted us from the middle prayer, till the sun set.

Abdullah b. al-Mukhtar heard Musa b. Anas narrating on the authority of Anas b. Malik that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) led him, his mother or his aunt in prayer. He made me, stand on his right side and made the woman stand, behind us.

The month is thus, and thus, and thus, and he flapped his hands with all their fingers twice. but at the third turn, folded his right thumb or left thumb (in order to give an idea of twenty-nine).

A man among Banu Fazarah got married for a pair of sandals, and the Prophet permitted his marriage.

eat the meat of your sacrifices.

It was narrated that ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: `I have exempted horses and slaves from zakah.”

It was narrated that lbn Shaddad said:
I heard ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) say: I never heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) mention his father and mother together for anyone except Sa`d. Abu Nu`aim said: mention his parents together.

Bilal bin Yahya bin Talhah bin `Ubaidullah narrated, from his father, from his grandfather that When the Prophet (ﷺ) saw the new moon, he would say:
`O Allah, bring it over us with blessing and faith, and with soundness and Islam. My Lord and your Lord is Allah.”

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Abu Bakr ibn Ubaydullah ibn Abdullah ibn Umar from Abdullah ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "When you eat, eat with your right hand and drink with your right hand. Shaytan eats with his left hand and drinks with his left hand."
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ

Riyad as-Salihin 1292
Fadalah bin 'Ubaid (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "The actions of every dead person come to a halt with his death except the one who is on the frontier in Allah's way (i.e., observing Ribat). This latter's deeds will be made to go on increasing for him till the Day of Resurrection, and he will be secure from the trials in the grave."

He saw a man praying with his feet together. He said: "He is not following the Sunnah. If he were to shift his weight from one to the other I would like that better."

"The Messenger of Allah (SAW) used to raise his hands when he started to pray, and when he bowed, and when he stood up, but he did not do that when he prostrated."

It was narrated from Maimunah that:
When the Prophet (SAW) prostrated he would hold his arms out from his sides so that if a lamb wanted to pass beneath his arms it would be able to do so.

It was narrated from Abu Al-Ja'd Ad-Damri-who was a Companion of the Prophet (SAW)- that the Prophet (SAW) said:
"Whoever missed three jumu'ahs out of negligence, Allah will place a seal over his heart."

" مَنْ تَرَكَ ثَلاَثَ جُمَعٍ تَهَاوُنًا بِهَا طَبَعَ اللَّهُ عَلَى قَلْبِهِ " .

Yahya related to me from Malik from a reliable source from Bukayr ibn Abdullah ibn al-Ashajj from Busr ibn Said that when Ubaydullah ibn al-Aswad al-Khawlani was in the room of Maimuna, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, she used to pray in a shift and head-covering, without a waist-wrapper.
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ الثِّقَةِ، عِنْدَهُ عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الأَشَجِّ، عَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الأَسْوَدِ الْخَوْلاَنِيِّ، وَكَانَ، فِي حَجْرِ مَيْمُونَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّ مَيْمُونَةَ كَانَتْ تُصَلِّي فِي الدِّرْعِ وَالْخِمَارِ لَيْسَ عَلَيْهَا إِزَارٌ .

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ziyad ibn Abi Ziyad from Talha ibn Ubaydullah ibn Kariz that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "The best dua is dua on the day of Arafa, and the best thing that I or the Prophets before me have said is 'There is no god but Allah, alone, without any partner' (La ilaha illa'llah, wahdahu la sharika lah.)"
وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ كَرِيزٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" أَفْضَلُ الدُّعَاءِ دُعَاءُ يَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ وَأَفْضَلُ مَا قُلْتُ أَنَا وَالنَّبِيُّونَ مِنْ قَبْلِي لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ " .

Ibn Mughaffal reported:
Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) ordered the killing of dogs and then said: what is the trouble with them (the people of Medina)? How dogs are nuisance to them (the citizens of Medina)? He then permitted keehing of dogs for hunting and (the protection of) herds.

Abūt-Tāhir and Harmalah bin Yahyā narrated to me, they said Ibn Wahb narrated to us, he said Yūnus informed me, on authority of Ibn Shihāb, on authority of Ubayd Allah bin Abd Allah bin Utbah, that Abd Allah bin Mas’ūd said:
‘It is the case that you do not relate to the people a narration which their minds cannot grasp except that it becomes a Fitnah for some of them’.
وَحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ، وَحَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالاَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ مَا أَنْتَ بِمُحَدِّثٍ قَوْمًا حَدِيثًا لاَ تَبْلُغُهُ عُقُولُهُمْ إِلاَّ كَانَ لِبَعْضِهِمْ فِتْنَةً .

Once the Prophet entered a lavatory and I placed water for his ablution. He asked, "Who placed it?" He was informed accordingly and so he said, "O Allah! Make him (Ibn `Abbas) a learned scholar in religion (Islam).

Narrated Anas bin Malik:
Whenever the Prophet started a journey before noon, he used to delay the Zuhr prayer till the time of `Asr and then offer them together; and if the sun declined (at noon) he used to offer the Zuhr prayer and then ride (for the journey).

It was narrated from Hudhaifah that the Prophet (PBUH) went to some people's garbage dump and urinated while standing. In his narration, Sulaiman bin 'Ubaidullah said:
"And he wiped over his Khuffs," but Mansur did not mention the wiping. [1]
[1]Meaning, in this route, since Shu'bah narrated it from both Sulaiman and Mansur.
أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا بَهْزٌ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ، وَمَنْصُورٌ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَشَى إِلَى سُبَاطَةِ قَوْمٍ فَبَالَ قَائِمًا . قَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ مَنْصُورٌ الْمَسْحَ .

"I was a man who emotted a great deal of Madhi. I told a man to ask the Prophet (PBUH) (about that) and he said: 'Wudu' (is required) for that."

Narrated Jabir ibn Abdullah:
The people came to the Prophet (saws) weeping (due to drought). He said (making supplication): O Allah! give us rain which will replenish us, abundant, fertilising and profitable, not injurious, granting it now without delay. He (the narrator) said: Thereupon the sky became overcast.

O son of al-Akwa', you have turned apostate and have come to live again in the desert with the Bedouins (after your migration). He said: No, but the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) has permitted me to live in the desert.

Jundab al-Bajali reported:
I saw Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) observing ('Id) prayer on the Day of Sacrifice (10th of Dhu'l-Hijja) and then delivering a sermon and he said: He who sacrificed the (animal) before offering ('Id) prayer, he should offer again in its stead, and he who did not sacrifice the animal should slaughter it by reciting the name of Allah.

ذَبَحَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ فَلْيُعِدْ مَكَانَهَا وَمَنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ ذَبَحَ فَلْيَذْبَحْ بِاسْمِ اللَّهِ " .

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الْغُبَرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، وَهِشَامٌ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ،
عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم صَلَّى ثُمَّ خَطَبَ فَأَمَرَ مَنْ كَانَ ذَبَحَ
قَبْلَ الصَّلاَةِ أَنْ يُعِيدَ ذِبْحًا ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ عُلَيَّةَ .
