Sunan Abi Dawud 330
Nafi' said:
Accompanied by 'Abd Allah b. 'Umar, I went to Ibn 'Abbas for a certain work. He (Ibn 'Abbas) narrated a tradition saying: A man passed by the Messenger of Allah (saws) in a street, while he returned from the toilet or just urinated. He (the man) saluted him, but the Prophet did not return the salutation. When the man was about to disappear (from sight) in the street he struck the wall with both his hands and wiped his face with them. He then struck another stroke and wipes his arms. He then returned the man's salutation. Then he said: I did not return the salutation to you because I was not purified.
Abu Dawud said: I heard Ahmad b. Hanbal say: Muhammad b. Thabit reported a rejected tradition.
Ibn Dasah said: Abu Dawud said: No one supported Muhammad b. Thabit in respect of narrating this tradition as to striking the wall twice (for wiping) from the Prophet (saws), but reported it as an action of Ibn 'Umar.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْمَوْصِلِيُّ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ الْعَبْدِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا نَافِعٌ، قَالَ انْطَلَقْتُ مَعَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ فِي حَاجَةٍ إِلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فَقَضَى ابْنُ عُمَرَ حَاجَتَهُ فَكَانَ مِنْ حَدِيثِهِ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَنْ قَالَ مَرَّ رَجُلٌ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي سِكَّةٍ مِنَ السِّكَكِ وَقَدْ خَرَجَ مِنْ غَائِطٍ أَوْ بَوْلٍ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِ فَلَمْ يَرُدَّ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى إِذَا كَادَ الرَّجُلُ أَنْ يَتَوَارَى فِي السِّكَّةِ ضَرَبَ بِيَدَيْهِ عَلَى الْحَائِطِ وَمَسَحَ بِهِمَا وَجْهَهُ ثُمَّ ضَرَبَ ضَرْبَةً أُخْرَى فَمَسَحَ ذِرَاعَيْهِ ثُمَّ رَدَّ عَلَى الرَّجُلِ السَّلاَمَ وَقَالَ
" إِنَّهُ لَمْ يَمْنَعْنِي أَنْ أَرُدَّ عَلَيْكَ السَّلاَمَ إِلاَّ أَنِّي لَمْ أَكُنْ عَلَى طُهْرٍ " . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ سَمِعْتُ أَحْمَدَ بْنَ حَنْبَلٍ يَقُولُ رَوَى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ حَدِيثًا مُنْكَرًا فِي التَّيَمُّمِ . قَالَ ابْنُ دَاسَةَ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ لَمْ يُتَابَعْ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ فِي هَذِهِ الْقِصَّةِ عَلَى ضَرْبَتَيْنِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَرَوَوْهُ فِعْلَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ .

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:
"The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: 'The Imam is appointed to be followed, so when he says the takbir, say the takbir, and when he recites, be silent.'"

" إِنَّمَا الإِمَامُ لِيُؤْتَمَّ بِهِ فَإِذَا كَبَّرَ فَكَبِّرُوا وَإِذَا قَرَأَ فَأَنْصِتُوا " . قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ كَانَ الْمُخَرِّمِيُّ يَقُولُ هُوَ ثِقَةٌ يَعْنِي مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ الأَنْصَارِيَّ .

Narrated As-Salt bin 'Abdullah bin Nawfal:
"Ibn Abbas wore a ring on his right hand. And I do not doubt he said: 'I saw the Messenger of Allah (saws) wearing a ring on his right hand.'"
[Abu 'Eisa said:] Muhammad bin Isma'il said: "The Hadith is Muhammad bin Ishaq from As-Salt bin 'Abdullah bin Nawfal is a Hasan Sahih Hadith."

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُخْتَارِ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي بَلْجٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ أَوَّلُ مَنْ صَلَّى عَلِيٌّ . قَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بَلْجٍ إِلاَّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ . وَأَبُو بَلْجٍ اسْمُهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ . وَقَدِ اخْتَلَفَ أَهْلُ الْعِلْمِ فِي هَذَا فَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوَّلُ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقُ . وَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوَّلُ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ عَلِيٌّ . وَقَالَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ أَوَّلُ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَأَسْلَمَ عَلِيٌّ وَهُوَ غُلاَمٌ ابْنُ ثَمَانِ سِنِينَ وَأَوَّلُ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ خَدِيجَةُ .

Narrated Abu Umamah Al-Ansari:
from 'Abdullah bin Unais Al-Juhni who said: "The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: 'Indeed among the worst of the major sins is Shirk with Allah, disobeying the parents, the false oath, and none insists on taking an oath in which he swears, including the like of a wing of a mosquito (of falsehood) in it - except that a spot is placed in his heart until the Day of Judgement.'"

" إِنَّ مِنْ أَكْبَرِ الْكَبَائِرِ الشِّرْكُ بِاللَّهِ وَعُقُوقُ الْوَالِدَيْنِ وَالْيَمِينُ الْغَمُوسُ وَمَا حَلَفَ حَالِفٌ بِاللَّهِ يَمِينَ صَبْرٍ فَأَدْخَلَ فِيهَا مِثْلَ جَنَاحِ بَعُوضَةٍ إِلاَّ جُعِلَتْ نُكْتَةً فِي قَلْبِهِ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَأَبُو أُمَامَةَ الأَنْصَارِيُّ هُوَ ابْنُ ثَعْلَبَةَ وَلاَ نَعْرِفُ اسْمَهُ وَقَدْ رَوَى عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَحَادِيثَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ .

Muzahir bin Aslam narrated that Al-Qasim narrated from Aishah that:
The Messenger of Allah said: "The divorce for a slave woman is two divorces, and her Iddah is two menstruations."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُظَاهِرُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الْقَاسِمُ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" طَلاَقُ الأَمَةِ تَطْلِيقَتَانِ وَعِدَّتُهَا حَيْضَتَانِ " .
قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا مُظَاهِرٌ، بِهَذَا . قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ عَائِشَةَ حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ مَرْفُوعًا إِلاَّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ مُظَاهِرِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ وَمُظَاهِرٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُ لَهُ فِي الْعِلْمِ غَيْرَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ . وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَغَيْرِهِمْ وَهُوَ قَوْلُ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ وَالشَّافِعِيِّ وَأَحْمَدَ وَإِسْحَاقَ .

Sahih Muslim 1159 g
This hadith has been narrated by Ibn Juraij with the same chain of transmitters. Imam Muslim has narrated this hadith on the authority of Abu 'Abbas al-Sa'ib b. Farrukh and he was a trustworthy and reliable (narrator) among the people of Mecca.

Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri:
We said, "O Allah's Apostle! (We know) this greeting (to you) but how shall we invoke Allah for you?" He said, "Say! Allahumma salli ala Muhammadin `Abdika wa rasulika kama- sallaita 'ala all Ibrahim wa barik ala Muhammadin wa'ala all Muhammadin kama barakta 'ala all Ibrahim.' Al-Laith said: 'Ala Muhammadin wa 'ala all Muhammadin kama barakta ala all Ibrahim.
Narrated Ibn Abi Hazim and Ad-Darawardi:
Yazid said, "Kama sallaita ala Ibrahima wa barik 'ala Muhammad in wa all Muhammadin kama barakta 'ala Abrahima wa all Ibrahim."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ الْهَادِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ خَبَّابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ قُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ هَذَا التَّسْلِيمُ فَكَيْفَ نُصَلِّي عَلَيْكَ قَالَ " قُولُوا اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِكَ وَرَسُولِكَ، كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَبَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ ". قَالَ أَبُو صَالِحٍ عَنِ اللَّيْثِ " عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ".
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، وَالدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ، وَقَالَ، " كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَبَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَآلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ".

Salih ibn Muhammad ibn Za'idah (AbuDawud said: This Salih is AbuWaqid) said: We entered the Byzantine territory with Maslamah. A man who had been dishonest about booty was brought.
He (Maslamah) asked Salim about him. He said: I heard my father narrating from Umar ibn al-Khattab from the Prophet (saws). He said: When you find a man who has been dishonest about booty, burn his property, and beat him. He beat him. He said: We found in his property a copy of the Qur'an. He again asked Salim about it. He said: Sell it and give its price in charity.
حَدَّثَنَا النُّفَيْلِيُّ، وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، - قَالَ النُّفَيْلِيُّ الأَنْدَرَاوَرْدِيُّ - عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَائِدَةَ، - قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَصَالِحٌ هَذَا أَبُو وَاقِدٍ - قَالَ دَخَلْتُ مَعَ مَسْلَمَةَ أَرْضَ الرُّومِ فَأُتِيَ بِرَجُلٍ قَدْ غَلَّ فَسَأَلَ سَالِمًا عَنْهُ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" إِذَا وَجَدْتُمُ الرَّجُلَ قَدْ غَلَّ فَأَحْرِقُوا مَتَاعَهُ وَاضْرِبُوهُ " . قَالَ فَوَجَدْنَا فِي مَتَاعِهِ مُصْحَفًا فَسَأَلَ سَالِمًا عَنْهُ فَقَالَ بِعْهُ وَتَصَدَّقْ بِثَمَنِهِ .

Sunan Abi Dawud 3440
Narrated Anas ibn Malik:
The Prophet (saws) said: A townsman must not sell for a man from the desert, even if he is his brother or father.
Abu Dawud said: Anas b. Malik said: It was said: A townsman must not sell for a man from the desert. This phrase carries a broad meaning. It means that the (the townsman) must not sell anything for him or buy anything for him.
حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ الزِّبْرِقَانَ أَبَا هَمَّامٍ، حَدَّثَهُمْ - قَالَ زُهَيْرٌ وَكَانَ ثِقَةً - عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" لاَ يَبِيعُ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ وَإِنْ كَانَ أَخَاهُ أَوْ أَبَاهُ " . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ سَمِعْتُ حَفْصَ بْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هِلاَلٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ كَانَ يُقَالُ لاَ يَبِيعُ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ . وَهِيَ كَلِمَةٌ جَامِعَةٌ لاَ يَبِيعُ لَهُ شَيْئًا وَلاَ يَبْتَاعُ لَهُ شَيْئًا .

It was narrated that Qatadah said:
I heard Abu `Uthman an-Nahdi say: the letter of ‘Umar came to us when we were in Adhrabeejan with `Utbah bin Farqad, or in Syria, (saying). The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade silk except so much - two fingers. Abu `Uthman said: We had no doubt that he meant silk borders.

Sunan Ibn Majah 1213
It was
narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allah (saw)
forgot
and said the Taslim after two Rak’ah. A man who was called
Dhul-Yadain said to him:
‘O Messenger of Allah, has the prayer been
shortened or did you forget?’ He said: ‘It has not been shortened
and
I did not forget.’ He said: ‘But you prayed two Rak’ah.’ He
said: ‘Is what
Dhul-Yadain says true?’ They said: ‘Yes.’ So
he went forward and
performed two Rak’ah and said the Salam, then
he prostrated twice for
prostrations of forgetfulness.
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ سَهَا فَسَلَّمَ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ . فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ يُقَالُ لَهُ ذُو الْيَدَيْنِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَقَصُرَتِ الصَّلاَةُ أَمْ نَسِيتَ؟ قَالَ " مَا قَصُرَتْ وَمَا نَسِيتُ " . قَالَ إِنَّكَ صَلَّيْتَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ . قَالَ " أَكَمَا يَقُولُ ذُو الْيَدَيْنِ؟ " . قَالُوا نَعَمْ . فَتَقَدَّمَ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ. ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ ثُمَّ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَىِ السَّهْوِ .

It was narrated from Muhammad bin Jubair bin Mut'im that 'Uthman said:
I wish that I had asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) what would save us from what the Shaitan whispers into our hearts. Abu Bakr said: I asked him about that and he said: `What can save you from that is to say what I told my uncle to say but he did not say it.`

"And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell" that he said: "This Verse was revealed eight months after the Verse that is in Tabark Al-Furqan: "And those who invoke not any other ilah (god) along with Allah, or kill such person as Allah has forbidden, except by right."
أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنْ خَارِجَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ زَيْدٍ، فِي قَوْلِهِ { وَمَنْ يَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِنًا مُتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَاؤُهُ جَهَنَّمُ } قَالَ نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الآيَةُ بَعْدَ الَّتِي فِي { تَبَارَكَ } الْفُرْقَانِ بِثَمَانِيَةِ أَشْهُرٍ { وَالَّذِينَ لاَ يَدْعُونَ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَهًا آخَرَ وَلاَ يَقْتُلُونَ النَّفْسَ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ إِلاَّ بِالْحَقِّ } . قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَدْخَلَ أَبُو الزِّنَادِ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ خَارِجَةَ مُجَالِدَ بْنَ عَوْفٍ .

Sunan an-Nasa'i 4772
It was narrated from Safwan bin Ya'la that:
his father wen on the campaign of Tabuk with the Messenger of Allah, and he hired a man who fought with another man. The man bit his forearm, and when it hurt him, he pulled it away, and the man's front tooth fell out. The matter was referred to the Messenger of Allah who said: "Would one of you deliberately bit his brother as a stallion bites?" And he judged it to be invalid.
أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْجَوَّابِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمَّارٌ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَعْلَى، أَنَّ أَبَاهُ، غَزَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ فَاسْتَأْجَرَ أَجِيرًا فَقَاتَلَ رَجُلاً فَعَضَّ الرَّجُلُ ذِرَاعَهُ فَلَمَّا أَوْجَعَهُ نَتَرَهَا فَأَنْدَرَ ثَنِيَّتَهُ فَرُفِعَ ذَلِكَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ
" يَعْمِدُ أَحَدُكُمْ فَيَعَضُّ أَخَاهُ كَمَا يَعَضُّ الْفَحْلُ " . فَأَبْطَلَ ثَنِيَّتَهُ .

Narrated Muhammad bin Usamah bin Zaid:
from his father, that he said: "When the Messenger of Allah (SAW) became weak, I marched and the people marched upon Al-Madinah. I entered upon the Messenger of Allah (SAW) and he was unable to speak (because of weakness), so he did not say anything. So the Messenger of Allah (SAW) began to place his hands upon me and then raise them up, so I knew he was supplicating for me."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ السَّبَّاقِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ لَمَّا ثَقُلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم هَبَطْتُ وَهَبَطَ النَّاسُ الْمَدِينَةَ فَدَخَلْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَقَدْ أُصْمِتَ فَلَمْ يَتَكَلَّمْ فَجَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَضَعُ يَدَيْهِ عَلَىَّ وَيَرْفَعُهُمَا فَأَعْرِفُ أَنَّهُ يَدْعُو لِي . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ .

Sahih Muslim 1785 b
It has been narrated on the authority of Shaqiq who said:
I heard Sahl b. Hunaif say at Siffin: O ye people, find fault with your (own) discretion. By Allah, on the Day of Abu Jandal (i. e. the day of Hudaibiya), I thought to myself that, if I could, I would reverse the order of the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) (the terms of the truce being unpalatable). By Allah, we have never hung our swords on our shoulders in any situation whatsoever except when they made easy for us to realise the goal envisaged by us, but this battle of yours (seems to be an exception). Ibn Numair (in his version) did not mention the words:" In any situation whatsoever"
وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ شَقِيقٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَهْلَ بْنَ حُنَيْفٍ، يَقُولُ بِصِفِّينَ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّهِمُوا رَأْيَكُمْ وَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنِي يَوْمَ أَبِي جَنْدَلٍ وَلَوْ أَنِّي أَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ أَرُدَّ أَمْرَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لَرَدَدْتُهُ وَاللَّهِ مَا وَضَعْنَا سُيُوفَنَا عَلَى عَوَاتِقِنَا إِلَى أَمْرٍ قَطُّ إِلاَّ أَسْهَلْنَ بِنَا إِلَى أَمْرٍ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ أَمْرَكُمْ هَذَا . لَمْ يَذْكُرِ ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ إِلَى أَمْرٍ قَطُّ .

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet (s.a.w) said:
"Beware of evil with each other, for indeed it is the Haliqah."
[The meaning of his saying]: "Süw'a Dhãt Al-Bain (evil with each other) is enmity and hatred, and his saying: "The Haliqah" [it is said] that it severs the religion.

Mughira b. Shu'ba reported:
When I came to Najran, they (the Christians of Najran) asked me: You read" O sister of Harun" (i. e. Hadrat Maryam) in the Qur'an, whereas Moses was born much before Jesus. When I came back to Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) I asked him about that, whereupon he said: The (people of the old age) used to give names (to their persons) after the names of Apostles and pious persons who had gone before them.

Abu Salama reported:
I used to see dreams, but the hadith transmitted on the authority of Laith b. Nu`man, the words of Abu Salama at the concluding part of the hadith are not mentioned. Ibn Rumh has reported in the hadith: "He (one who sleeps) should change the side on which he had been lying before."
وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ قُتَيْبَةُ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ، عَنِ اللَّيْثِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى،
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ يَعْنِي الثَّقَفِيَّ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ،
كُلُّهُمْ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ وَفِي حَدِيثِ الثَّقَفِيِّ قَالَ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ فَإِنْ كُنْتُ لأَرَى
الرُّؤْيَا . وَلَيْسَ فِي حَدِيثِ اللَّيْثِ وَابْنِ نُمَيْرٍ قَوْلُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ إِلَى آخِرِ الْحَدِيثِ . وَزَادَ ابْنُ
رُمْحٍ فِي رِوَايَةِ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ
" وَلْيَتَحَوَّلْ عَنْ جَنْبِهِ الَّذِي كَانَ عَلَيْهِ " .

Sahih Muslim 2364
Abu Huraira reported so many 'ahadith from Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) and one among them was that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) is reported to have said:
By Him in Whose Hand is the life of Muhammad, a day would come to you when you would not be able to see me, and the glimpse of my face would be dearer to one than one's own family, one's property and in fact everything. This hadith has been transmitted on the authority of Ishaq with a slight variation of wording.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ، قَالَ
هَذَا مَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم . فَذَكَرَ أَحَادِيثَ مِنْهَا وَقَالَ
رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ فِي يَدِهِ لَيَأْتِيَنَّ عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ يَوْمٌ وَلاَ
يَرَانِي ثُمَّ لأَنْ يَرَانِي أَحَبُّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ أَهْلِهِ وَمَالِهِ مَعَهُمْ " . قَالَ أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الْمَعْنَى فِيهِ عِنْدِي
لأَنْ يَرَانِي مَعَهُمْ أَحَبُّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ أَهْلِهِ وَمَالِهِ وَهُوَ عِنْدِي مُقَدَّمٌ وَمُؤَخَّرٌ .

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to wake his family up during the last ten nights of Ramadan and tie up his izar.

funeral. ‘Umar saw a woman and shouted at her, but the

heart is afflicted, and the bereavement is recent.”

Sunan an-Nasa'i 1294
It was narrated that 'Amr bin Sulam Az-Zuraqi said:
"Abu Humaid As-Sa'idi told me that they said: 'O Messenger of Allah (SAW), how should we send salah upon you?' The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: 'Say: Allahumma sali 'ala Muhammadin wa azwajihi wa dhuriyatihi ( O Allah, send salah upon Muhamad and his wives and progeny)- in the narration of Al-Harith (one of the two who narrated it)-kama salaita 'ala Ibraim wa barik 'alaMuhammad wa azwajihi wa dhuriyatti (as You sent salah upon Irahim and send blessings upon Muhammad and his wives and progeny)- both of them said that- kama barakta 'ala ali Ibrahima innaka hamidun majid (as You sent blessings upon Ibrahim, You are indeed worthy of praise, Full of glory.)" Abu Abdur-Rahman (An-Nasa'i) said: Qutaibah informed us of this hadith two times, and perhaps he had missed a part of it.
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، وَالْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ، قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ الزُّرَقِيِّ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو حُمَيْدٍ السَّاعِدِيُّ، أَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كَيْفَ نُصَلِّي عَلَيْكَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " قُولُوا اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَأَزْوَاجِهِ وَذُرِّيَّتِهِ " . فِي حَدِيثِ الْحَارِثِ " كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَبَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَأَزْوَاجِهِ وَذُرِّيَّتِهِ " . قَالاَ جَمِيعًا " كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ " . قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَنْبَأَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ مَرَّتَيْنِ وَلَعَلَّهُ أَنْ يَكُونَ قَدْ سَقَطَ عَلَيْهِ مِنْهُ شَطْرٌ .

Abdullah bin Mas'ud narrated:
"When Allah's Messenger descending the Minbar he would face our direction."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْكُوفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا اسْتَوَى عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ اسْتَقْبَلْنَاهُ بِوُجُوهِنَا . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ وَحَدِيثُ مَنْصُورٍ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ . وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ ضَعِيفٌ ذَاهِبُ الْحَدِيثِ عِنْدَ أَصْحَابِنَا . وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَغَيْرِهِمْ يَسْتَحِبُّونَ اسْتِقْبَالَ الإِمَامِ إِذَا خَطَبَ . وَهُوَ قَوْلُ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ وَالشَّافِعِيِّ وَأَحْمَدَ وَإِسْحَاقَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَلاَ يَصِحُّ فِي هَذَا الْبَابِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم شَيْءٌ .

Marthan bin Abdullah Al-Yazani narrated:
"When Malik bin Hubairah performed Salat for a funeral and the people were few he would divide them into three groups (rows) then say: 'The Messenger of Allah said: "For whomever three rows perform Salat, then it is granted."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، وَيُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ مَرْثَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْيَزَنِيِّ، قَالَ كَانَ مَالِكُ بْنُ هُبَيْرَةَ إِذَا صَلَّى عَلَى جَنَازَةٍ فَتَقَالَّ النَّاسَ عَلَيْهَا جَزَّأَهُمْ ثَلاَثَةَ أَجْزَاءٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيْهِ ثَلاَثَةُ صُفُوفٍ فَقَدْ أَوْجَبَ " . قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ وَأُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَمَيْمُونَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ مَالِكِ بْنِ هُبَيْرَةَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ هَكَذَا رَوَاهُ غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ . وَرَوَى إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ وَأَدْخَلَ بَيْنَ مَرْثَدٍ وَمَالِكِ بْنِ هُبَيْرَةَ رَجُلاً . وَرِوَايَةُ هَؤُلاَءِ أَصَحُّ عِنْدَنَا .

Sunan Abi Dawud 2337
Narrated AbuHurayrah:
AbdulAziz ibn Muhammad said: Abbad ibn Kathir came to Medina and went to the assembly of al-Ala'. He caught hold of his hand and made him stand and said: O Allah, he narrates a tradition from his father on the authority of AbuHurayrah who reported the Messenger of Allah (saws) as saying: When the middle of Sha'ban comes, do not fast. Al-Ala' said: O Allah, my father narrated this tradition on the authority of AbuHurayrah from the Prophet (saws)
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ قَدِمَ عَبَّادُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ الْمَدِينَةَ فَمَالَ إِلَى مَجْلِسِ الْعَلاَءِ فَأَخَذَ بِيَدِهِ فَأَقَامَهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ هَذَا يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" إِذَا انْتَصَفَ شَعْبَانُ فَلاَ تَصُومُوا " . فَقَالَ الْعَلاَءُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ أَبِي حَدَّثَنِي عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِذَلِكَ . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ رَوَاهُ الثَّوْرِيُّ وَشِبْلُ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ وَأَبُو عُمَيْسٍ وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْعَلاَءِ . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَكَانَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ لاَ يُحَدِّثُ بِهِ قُلْتُ لأَحْمَدَ لِمَ قَالَ لأَنَّهُ كَانَ عِنْدَهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يَصِلُ شَعْبَانَ بِرَمَضَانَ وَقَالَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم خِلاَفَهُ . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَلَيْسَ هَذَا عِنْدِي خِلاَفَهُ وَلَمْ يَجِئْ بِهِ غَيْرُ الْعَلاَءِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ .

Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1677
Narrated 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Awf:
"The Messenger of Allah (saws) positioned us during the night at Badr."
[Abu 'Eisa said:] There is something on this topic from Abu Ayyub.
This Hadith is Gharib, we do not know of it except from this route. I asked Muhammad bin Isma'il about this Hadith, but he did not know it, and he said: "Muhammad bin Ishaq heard from 'Ikrimah." And when I saw him, he had a good opinion about Muhammad bin Humaid Ar-Razi, then he considered him weak later.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ الرَّازِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ، قَالَ عَبَّأَنَا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِبَدْرٍ لَيْلاً . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ . وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ . وَسَأَلْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ فَلَمْ يَعْرِفْهُ وَقَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ سَمِعَ مِنْ عِكْرِمَةَ . وَحِينَ رَأَيْتُهُ كَانَ حَسَنَ الرَّأْىِ فِي مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ الرَّازِيِّ ثُمَّ ضَعَّفَهُ بَعْدُ .

Jami` at-Tirmidhi 151
Abu Hurairah narrated that :
Allah's Messenger said: "Indeed for (the time of) Salat (there is a) beginning and an end. The beginning of the time for the Zuhr prayer is when the sun passes the zenith, and the end of its time is when the time for Asr enters. The beginning of the time for the Asr [prayer] is when its time enters, and the end of its time is when the sun yellows (turns pale). The beginning of the time of Maghrib is when the sun as set, and the end of its time is when the twilight has vanished (i.e., the horizon is invisible because of darkness). The beginning of the time for Isha, the later one, is when the horizon has vanished, and the end of its time is when the night is at its half. The beginning of the time for Fajr is when Fajr begins, and its end is when the sun rises."

" إِنَّ لِلصَّلاَةِ أَوَّلاً وَآخِرًا وَإِنَّ أَوَّلَ وَقْتِ صَلاَةِ الظُّهْرِ حِينَ تَزُولُ الشَّمْسُ وَآخِرَ وَقْتِهَا حِينَ يَدْخُلُ وَقْتُ الْعَصْرِ وَإِنَّ أَوَّلَ وَقْتِ صَلاَةِ الْعَصْرِ حِينَ يَدْخُلُ وَقْتُهَا وَإِنَّ آخِرَ وَقْتِهَا حِينَ تَصْفَرُّ الشَّمْسُ وَإِنَّ أَوَّلَ وَقْتِ الْمَغْرِبِ حِينَ تَغْرُبُ الشَّمْسُ وَإِنَّ آخِرَ وَقْتِهَا حِينَ يَغِيبُ الأُفُقُ وَإِنَّ أَوَّلَ وَقْتِ الْعِشَاءِ الآخِرَةِ حِينَ يَغِيبُ الأُفُقُ وَإِنَّ آخِرَ وَقْتِهَا حِينَ يَنْتَصِفُ اللَّيْلُ وَإِنَّ أَوَّلَ وَقْتِ الْفَجْرِ حِينَ يَطْلُعُ الْفَجْرُ وَإِنَّ آخِرَ وَقْتِهَا حِينَ تَطْلُعُ الشَّمْسُ " . قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَسَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدًا يَقُولُ حَدِيثُ الأَعْمَشِ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ فِي الْمَوَاقِيتِ أَصَحُّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ فُضَيْلٍ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ وَحَدِيثُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ فُضَيْلٍ خَطَأٌ أَخْطَأَ فِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ . حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْفَزَارِيِّ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ كَانَ يُقَالُ إِنَّ لِلصَّلاَةِ أَوَّلاً وَآخِرًا فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ فُضَيْلٍ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ نَحْوَهُ بِمَعْنَاهُ .

Musnad Ahmad 1357
It was narrated that lbn Shaddad said:
I heard ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) say: I never heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) mention his father and mother together for anyone except Sa`d. Abu Nu`aim said: mention his parents together.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، وَأَبُو نُعَيْمٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ ابْنِ شَدَّادٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَلِيًّا، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يَقُولُ مَا سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَجْمَعُ أَبَاهُ وَأُمَّهُ لِأَحَدٍ إِلَّا لِسَعْدٍ قَالَ أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ أَبَوَيْهِ لِأَحَدٍ.

Ibn Umar narrated that :
the Prophet said: "When one of you becomes sleepy during the Friday prayer, then let him move from where he is sitting."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، وَأَبُو خَالِدٍ الأَحْمَرُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" إِذَا نَعَسَ أَحَدُكُمْ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَلْيَتَحَوَّلْ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ذَلِكَ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .

“We bought a ram for
sacrifice, then a wolf tore some flesh from its rump and ears. We
asked the Prophet (saw) and he told us to offer it as a sacrifice.”

“A man may speak a word that angers Allah and not see

wrong with it, but it will cause him to sink down in Hell

seventy autumns.”

food,’
or ‘The family of Muhammad does not have even a Mud of
food.’”

Jabir bin Abdullah narrated:
"A woman held a boy of hers up for the Messenger of Allah and said: 'O Messenger of Allah! Is there Hajj for this one' He said: 'Yes, and you will be rewarded.'"

Sunan Abi Dawud 3382
Narrated Ali ibn AbuTalib:
A time is certainly coming to mankind when people will bite each other and a rich man will hold fast, what he has in his possession (i.e. his property), though he was not commanded for that. Allah, Most High, said: "And do not forget liberality between yourselves." The men who are forced will contract sale while the Prophet (saws) forbade forced contract, one which involves some uncertainty, and the sale of fruit before it is ripe.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا صَالِحُ أَبُو عَامِرٍ، - قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ كَذَا قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ - حَدَّثَنَا شَيْخٌ، مِنْ بَنِي تَمِيمٍ قَالَ خَطَبَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ - أَوْ قَالَ قَالَ عَلِيٌّ قَالَ ابْنُ عِيسَى هَكَذَا حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، - قَالَ سَيَأْتِي عَلَى النَّاسِ زَمَانٌ عَضُوضٌ يَعَضُّ الْمُوسِرُ عَلَى مَا فِي يَدَيْهِ وَلَمْ يُؤْمَرْ بِذَلِكَ قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى { وَلاَ تَنْسَوُا الْفَضْلَ بَيْنَكُمْ } وَيُبَايَعُ الْمُضْطَرُّونَ وَقَدْ نَهَى النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْ بَيْعِ الْمُضْطَرِّ وَبَيْعِ الْغَرَرِ وَبَيْعِ الثَّمَرَةِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تُدْرِكَ .

" أَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ أَصَابَتْ بَخُورًا فَلاَ تَشْهَدْ مَعَنَا الْعِشَاءَ الآخِرَةَ " . قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ لاَ أَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا تَابَعَ يَزِيدَ بْنَ خُصَيْفَةَ عَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَلَى قَوْلِهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ . وَقَدْ خَالَفَهُ يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الأَشَجِّ رَوَاهُ عَنْ زَيْنَبَ الثَّقَفِيَّةِ .

Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1770

[Abu 'Eisa said:
] This Hadith is Hasan Gharib, we only know of it as a narration of 'Abdur-Rahman bin Tarafah. Salm bin Zarir reported similar to the narration of Abu Al-Ashhab from 'Abdur-Rahman bin Taraqah - "from 'Abdur-Rahman bin Taraqah." It has been related about more than one of the people of knowledge that they would brace their teeth with gold, and in this Hadith there was a proof for them.
'Abdur-Rahman bin Mahdi said: "Salm bin Zarin" but that is an error, "Zarir" is more correct, and Abu Sa'd As-San'ani's (a narrator in this chain) name is Muhammad bin Muyassir.

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:
that regarding "Alif Lam Mim. The Romans have been defeated" (In the nearest land, and they, after their defeat, will be victorious. Within Bid' years...) (30 1 & 2)" The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said to Abu Bakr about the wager: "Why were you not more cautious Abu Bakr? For indeed Al-Bid' refers to what is from three to nine."

Abu Huraira said (may Allah be well pleased with him):
“Fatima came to Abu Bakr and said: ‘Who will inherit from you?’ He said: ‘My wives and my offspring,’ so she said: ‘Why should I not inherit from my father?’ Abu Bakr said:
‘I heard Allah’s Messenger say (Allah bless him and give him peace): “We will not be inherited from,” but I support those whom Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) used to support, and I provide for those for whom Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) used to provide.’”
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: جَاءَتْ فَاطِمَةُ إِلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ، فَقَالَتْ: مَنْ يَرِثُكَ؟ فَقَالَ: أَهْلِي وَوَلَدِي، فَقَالَتْ: مَا لِي لا أَرِثُ أَبِي؟ فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم، يَقُولُ: لا نُورَثُ، وَلَكِنِّي أَعُولُ مَنْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم، يَعُولُهُ، وَأُنْفِقُ عَلَى مَنْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُنْفِقُ عَلَيْهِ.

It has been narrated on the authority of Ibn 'Umar that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said:
When Allah will gather together, on the Day of Judgment, all the earlier and later generations of mankind, a flag will be raised (to mark off) every person guilty of breach of faith, and it will be announced that this is the perfidy of so and so, son of so and so (to attract the attention of people to his guilt).

حَدَّثَنَا رَجَاءُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعُذْرِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ، قال حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي رَزِينٍ، قال حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَيْمُونٌ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ زَيْدَ بْنَ أَرْقَمَ، قَالَ أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ نَتَدَاوَى مِنْ ذَاتِ الْجَنْبِ بِالْقُسْطِ الْبَحْرِيِّ وَالزَّيْتِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ صَحِيحٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ مَيْمُونٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ . وَقَدْ رَوَى عَنْ مَيْمُونٍ غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ . وَذَاتُ الْجَنْبِ السُّلُّ .

Narrated Anas:
That a man who had drunk wine was brought to the Prophet (saws), so he beat him about forty times with two stalks of a palm tree. So Abu Bakr did similarly, and by the time 'Umar became Khalifah he sought council from the people. And 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Awf said: 'I see that the lightest penalty is eighty lashes,' so 'Umar ordered that.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُ أُتِيَ بِرَجُلٍ قَدْ شَرِبَ الْخَمْرَ فَضَرَبَهُ بِجَرِيدَتَيْنِ نَحْوَ الأَرْبَعِينَ وَفَعَلَهُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَلَمَّا كَانَ عُمَرُ اسْتَشَارَ النَّاسَ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ كَأَخَفِّ الْحُدُودِ ثَمَانِينَ . فَأَمَرَ بِهِ عُمَرُ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ أَنَسٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ . وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَغَيْرِهِمْ أَنَّ حَدَّ السَّكْرَانِ ثَمَانُونَ .

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying:
The similitude of mine and that of the Apostles before me is that of a person who built a house quite imposing and beautiful and he made it complete but for one brick in one of its corners. People began to walk round it, and the building pleased them and they would say: But for this brick your building would have been perfect. Muhammad (may peace be upon him) said: And I am that final brick.
وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ، قَالَ

أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَثَلِي وَمَثَلُ الأَنْبِيَاءِ مِنْ قَبْلِي كَمَثَلِ رَجُلٍ ابْتَنَى بُيُوتًا
فَأَحْسَنَهَا وَأَجْمَلَهَا وَأَكْمَلَهَا إِلاَّ مَوْضِعَ لَبِنَةٍ مِنْ زَاوِيَةٍ مِنْ زَوَايَاهَا فَجَعَلَ النَّاسُ يَطُوفُونَ
وَيُعْجِبُهُمُ الْبُنْيَانُ فَيَقُولُونَ أَلاَّ وَضَعْتَ هَا هُنَا لَبِنَةً فَيَتِمَّ بُنْيَانُكَ " . فَقَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ صلى الله
عليه وسلم " فَكُنْتُ أَنَا اللَّبِنَةَ " .

It was narrated from Abu Harb bin Abil-Aswad, from Abul-Aswad - Abu Khaithamah said in his hadeeth:
Ibn Abul-Aswad from his father - that ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The urine of a nursing boy may be sprinkled with water and the urine of a nursing girl is to be washed.” Qatadah said: This is if the infant is not yet eating solid food; if the infant is eating solid food, it is to be washed in both Cases.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى بْنُ وَاصِلِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى الْكُوفِيُّ، وَأَبُو زُرْعَةَ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّلْتِ، عَنْ فُلَيْحِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا خَرَجَ يَوْمَ الْعِيدِ فِي طَرِيقٍ رَجَعَ فِي غَيْرِهِ . قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ وَأَبِي رَافِعٍ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَحَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ . وَرَوَى أَبُو تُمَيْلَةَ وَيُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنْ فُلَيْحِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ . قَالَ وَقَدِ اسْتَحَبَّ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ لِلإِمَامِ إِذَا خَرَجَ فِي طَرِيقٍ أَنْ يَرْجِعَ فِي غَيْرِهِ اتِّبَاعًا لِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ وَهُوَ قَوْلُ الشَّافِعِيِّ . وَحَدِيثُ جَابِرٍ كَأَنَّهُ أَصَحُّ .

Abu Salih reported from Abu Hurairah and Abu Sa'eed that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said:
"The servant will be brought on the Day of Judgement, and He will say to hi: 'Did I not give you hearing, sight, wealth, children, and did I not make the cattle and tillage subservient to you, and did I not leave you as the head of people taking from their wealth? Did you not think that you would have to meet with Me on this Day of yours?' So he will say: 'No.' So it will be said to him: 'Today you shall be forgotten just as you have forgotten Me.'"
[Abü 'Elsa said:] This Hadith is Sahih Gharib and the meaning of His saying: "Today you shall be forgotten just as you have forgotten Me" is: Today I shall leave you in chastisement. [This is how they have explained it]. [Abu 'Eisa said:] This is how some of the people of knowledge have explained this Ayah: So this Day We shall forget them...They said that it means: We shall leave them in chastisement.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزُّهْرِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ سُعَيْرٍ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ التَّمِيمِيُّ الْكُوفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، قَالاَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " يُؤْتَى بِالْعَبْدِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَيَقُولُ اللَّهُ لَهُ أَلَمْ أَجْعَلْ لَكَ سَمْعًا وَبَصَرًا وَمَالاً وَوَلَدًا وَسَخَّرْتُ لَكَ الأَنْعَامَ وَالْحَرْثَ وَتَرَكْتُكَ تَرْأَسُ وَتَرْبَعُ فَكُنْتَ تَظُنُّ أَنَّكَ مُلاَقِيَّ يَوْمَكَ هَذَا قَالَ فَيَقُولُ لاَ . فَيَقُولُ لَهُ الْيَوْمَ أَنْسَاكَ كَمَا نَسِيتَنِي " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ . وَمَعْنَى قَوْلِهِ " الْيَوْمَ أَنْسَاكَ " . يَقُولُ الْيَوْمَ أَتْرُكُكَ فِي الْعَذَابِ . هَكَذَا فَسَّرُوهُ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَقَدْ فَسَّرَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ هَذِهِ الآيَةَ: ( الْيَوْمَ نَنْسَاهُمْ ) قَالُوا إِنَّمَا مَعْنَاهُ الْيَوْمَ نَتْرُكُهُمْ فِي الْعَذَابِ .

Sunan Abi Dawud 846
Abd Allah b. Abi Awfa said:
When the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) raised his head after bowing, he said: Allah listens to him who praises Him. O Allah, our lord, to Thee be the praise in the heavens and in all the earth, and all that it please Thee to create afterwards.
Abu Dawud said: Sufyan al-Thawri and Shu’bah b. al-Hajjaj reported on authority of Ubaid b. al-Hasan: There is no mention of the words “after bowing” in this tradition. Sufyan said: we met al-shaikh ‘Ubaid b. al-Hasan; he did not say the words “bowing” in it.
Abu dawud said: Shu’bah narrated this from Abi ‘Ismah, from al-A’mash, on the authority of ‘Ubaid, saying: “after bowing”.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، وَأَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ وَوَكِيعٌ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ كُلُّهُمْ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ، سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى، يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ يَقُولُ " سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ مِلْءَ السَّمَوَاتِ وَمِلْءَ الأَرْضِ وَمِلْءَ مَا شِئْتَ مِنْ شَىْءٍ بَعْدُ " . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ وَشُعْبَةُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ عَنْ عُبَيْدٍ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ لَيْسَ فِيهِ بَعْدَ الرُّكُوعِ . قَالَ سُفْيَانُ لَقِينَا الشَّيْخَ عُبَيْدًا أَبَا الْحَسَنِ بَعْدُ فَلَمْ يَقُلْ فِيهِ بَعْدَ الرُّكُوعِ . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَرَوَاهُ شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي عِصْمَةَ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ عَنْ عُبَيْدٍ قَالَ " بَعْدَ الرُّكُوعِ " .

Simak ibn Harb said:
“I heard Jabir ibn Samura say:
"Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) was dali al-fam, ashkal al-'ain, manhus al-'aqib.”
Shu'ba said: “I asked Simak: ‘What is dali al-fam?" He replied:"[It means] endowed with a grand and impressive mouth." I asked: "What is ashkal al 'ain?" He replied: "[It means] long in the slit of the eye." I asked: "What is manhus al-'aqib?" He said: "[It means] endowed with a lean heel.”

Sunan Abi Dawud 947
Abu hurairah said that the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) forbade putting hands on the waist during prayer.
Abu Dawud said; The word Ikhtisar means to put one’s hands on one’s waist.

Sahih Muslim 1706 a
Anas b. Malik reported that a person who had drink wine was brought to Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him). He gave him forty stripes with two lashes. Abu Bakr also did that, but when Umar (assumed the responsibilities) of the Caliphate, he consulted people and Abd al-Rahman said:
The mildest punishment (for drinking) is eighty (stripes) and 'Umar their prescribed this punishment.

Sunan Abi Dawud 3062
Narrated Amr ibn Awf al-Muzani:
The Prophet (saws) assigned as a fief to Bilal ibn al-Muzani the mines of al-Qabaliyyah both which lay on the upper side and which lay on the lower side, and (the land) which was suitable for cultivation at Quds. He did not give him (the land which involved) the right of a Muslim. The Prophet (saws) wrote a document for him. It goes: "In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful. This is what the Messenger of Allah (saws) assigned to Bilal ibn Harith al-Muzani. He gave him the mines of al-Qabaliyyah, both which lay on the upper side and which lay on the lower side, and (the land) which is suitable for cultivation at Quds. He did not give him the right of any Muslim."
Abu Uwais said: A similar tradition has been narrated to me by Thawr b. Zaid, client of Banu al-Dail b. Bakr b. Kinahah from 'Ikrimah on the authority of Ibn 'Abbas.
حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ، وَغَيْرُهُ، قَالَ الْعَبَّاسُ حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو أُوَيْسٍ، حَدَّثَنَا كَثِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَوْفٍ الْمُزَنِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَقْطَعَ بِلاَلَ بْنَ الْحَارِثِ الْمُزَنِيَّ مَعَادِنَ الْقَبَلِيَّةِ جَلْسِيَّهَا وَغَوْرِيَّهَا - وَقَالَ غَيْرُ الْعَبَّاسِ جَلْسَهَا وَغَوْرَهَا - وَحَيْثُ يَصْلُحُ الزَّرْعُ مِنْ قُدْسٍ وَلَمْ يُعْطِهِ حَقَّ مُسْلِمٍ وَكَتَبَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ هَذَا مَا أَعْطَى مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ بِلاَلَ بْنَ الْحَارِثِ الْمُزَنِيَّ أَعْطَاهُ مَعَادِنَ الْقَبَلِيَّةِ جَلْسِيَّهَا وَغَوْرِيَّهَا " . وَقَالَ غَيْرُ الْعَبَّاسِ " جَلْسَهَا وَغَوْرَهَا " . " وَحَيْثُ يَصْلُحُ الزَّرْعُ مِنْ قُدْسٍ وَلَمْ يُعْطِهِ حَقَّ مُسْلِمٍ " . قَالَ أَبُو أُوَيْسٍ وَحَدَّثَنِي ثَوْرُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ مَوْلَى بَنِي الدِّيلِ بْنِ بَكْرِ بْنِ كِنَانَةَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ مِثْلَهُ .
