Bulugh al-Maram 126
Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah (RAA):
The Prophet (saws) said, "I have been given five things which were not given to anyone else before me. Allah made me victorious by awe (of frightening my enemies) for a distance of one month's journey. The earth has been made for me (and my followers) a place for praying and something with which to perform Tayammum (to purify oneself for prayer). Therefore, anyone (of my followers) can pray (anywhere) and at any time that the Salat (prayer) is due."
عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا; أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالَ: { أُعْطِيتُ خَمْسًا لَمْ يُعْطَهُنَّ أَحَدٌ قَبْلِي: نُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ مَسِيرَةَ شَهْرٍ, وَجُعِلَتْ لِي اَلْأَرْضُ مَسْجِدًا وَطَهُورًا, فَأَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ أَدْرَكَتْهُ اَلصَّلَاةُ فَلْيُصَلِّ } وَذَكَرَ اَلْحَدِيث َ 1 .

Narrated Abu Dhar al-Ghifari (RA):
Allah's Messenger (SAW), "In case there is not before him (an object) like the back of a saddle, a Muslim's Salat (prayer) would be cut off by (the passing of) a woman, a donkey and a black dog." And it concludes: "the black dog is a devil."

Mishkat al-Masabih 443
Abu Huraira reported God's messenger as saying, “There is sexual defilement under every hair, so wash the hair and cleanse the skin.”
Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah transmitted it, and Tirmidhi said, “This is a gharib tradition, and al-Harith b. Wajih who is the transmitter is a shaikh one cannot trust.”
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسلم: «تَحت كل شَعْرَة جَنَابَةٌ فَاغْسِلُوا الشَّعْرَ وَأَنْقُوا الْبَشْرَةَ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَالتِّرْمِذِيُّ وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ وَقَالَ التِّرْمِذِيُّ: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ وَالْحَارِثُ بْنُ وَجِيهٍ الرَّاوِي وَهُوَ شيخ لَيْسَ بذلك

Mishkat al-Masabih 2944, 2945
Sa'id b. Zaid reported the Prophet as saying, “If anyone makes barren land fertile it belongs to him, but no right pertains to one who plants wrongfully in land another has brought into cultivation*”.
Ahmad, Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud transmitted it, and Malik transmitted it in mursal form on the authority of ‘Urwa. Tirmidhi said this is a hasan gharib tradition.
*'Irq zalim, the literal translation would be “a wrongful root.” The translation given above represents the general sense of the phrase.

Mishkat al-Masabih 2279
‘Abdallah b. Busr told of a man saying, “Messenger of God, the ordinances of Islam are too many for me, so tell me something to which I may cling.” He replied, “Your tongue will continue to be supple by making mention of God.”
Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah transmitted it. Tirmidhi saying this is a hasan gharib tradition.
وَعَن عبد الله بن يسر: أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ شَرَائِعَ الْإِسْلَامِ قَدْ كَثُرَتْ عَلَيَّ فَأَخْبِرْنِي بِشَيْءٍ أَتَشَبَّثُ بِهِ قَالَ: " لَا يَزَالُ لِسَانُكَ رَطْبًا بِذكر اللَّهِ)

Abu Huraira reported God’s messenger as saying that no one will ever say sincerely, “There is no god but God” without the gates of heaven being opened for it so that it may come to the Throne, as long as he avoids major sins.

That the Messenger of Allah (saws) said: "(All of you) worship Ar-Rahman, feed others, spread the (greeting of) Salam, then you will enter Paradise in security."
He said: This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.

'Ubaidullah bin 'Abdullah narrated a report (of the Messenger of Allah (saws) from Abu Sa'eed, that he prohibited bending the mouths of the water-skins.
He said:
There are narrations on this topic from Jabir, Ibn 'Abbas, and Abu Hurairah.
[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.

Shaddad bin Aus (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Prophet (PBUH) said, "A wise man is the one who calls himself to account (and refrains from doing evil deeds) and does noble deeds to benefit him after death; and the foolish person is the one who subdues himself to his temptations and desires and seeks from Allah the fulfillment of his vain desires".

I asked Al-Husain bin Muhammad who was one of the sons of Salim and one of the nobles amongst them, about the narration of Mahmud bin Ar-Rabi 'from `Itban bin Malik, and he confirmed it.

Sunan Abi Dawud 3945
The tradition mentioned above has also been narrated by Ibn 'Umar through a different chain of transmitters to the same effect as mentioned by Malik. In this version there is no mention of the words "otherwise he will be emancipated to the extent of the first man's share." His version ends "and the slave be thus emancipated," to the same effect as he (Malik) mentioned.

Jabir said :

Abu Dawud said:
A similar tradition has been transmitted by Zakariya b. Salim through a different chain of narrators. This version adds: He (the Prophet) then threw a pebble like a gram at her. He then said: Throw at her and avoid her face. When se died, he took her out and prayed over her. About repentance he said similar to the tradition on Buraidah.

Tirmidhi transmitted it saying that this is a tradition whose isnad is not strong, and there is confusion about its isnad.

Bulugh al-Maram 1386
Abu Dawud has from the narration of Ibn Abbas (RA) (who reported Allah's Messenger (SAW) as saying):
"If anyone takes a vow but does not name it, its atonement is the same as that for an oath. If anyone takes a vow to do an act of disobedience, its atonement is the same as that for an oath. If anyone takes a vow which he is unable to fulfill , its atonement is the same as that for an oath." [Its chain of narrators is authentic, but the Hadith scholars held that the strongest view is that it is Mawquf (saying of a Companion)].
وَلِأَبِي دَاوُدَ: مِنْ حَدِيثِ اِبْنِ عَبَّاسٍ مَرْفُوعاً: {
"مِنْ نَذَرَ نَذْراً لَمْ يُسَمِّهِ, فَكَفَّارَتُهُ كَفَّارَةُ يَمِينٍ, وَمَنْ نَذَرَ نَذْراً فِي مَعْصِيَةٍ, فَكَفَّارَتُهُ كَفَّارَةُ يَمِينٍ, وَمَنْ نَذَرَ نَذْراً لَا يُطِيقُهُ, فَكَفَّارَتُهُ كَفَّارَةُ يَمِينٍ" } وَإِسْنَادُهُ صَحِيحٌ; إِلَّا أَنَّ اَلْحُفَّاظَ رَجَّحُوا وَقْفَهُ. 1 .

Tirmidhi transmitted it, saying this is a gharib hasan tradition.
وَعَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ:
" مَا من ميت يَمُوت فَيقوم باكيهم فيقولك: واجبلاه واسيداه وَنَحْوَ ذَلِكَ إِلَّا وَكَّلَ اللَّهُ بِهِ مَلَكَيْنِ يَلْهَزَانِهِ وَيَقُولَانِ: أَهَكَذَا كُنْتَ؟ ". رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَقَالَ: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ حَسَنٌ

Tirmidhi transmitted it, and Ahmad transmitted it from Mu'adh b. Jabal. Tirmidhi said this is a gharib tradition.
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ الدُّعَاءَ يَنْفَعُ مِمَّا نَزَلَ وَمِمَّا لَمْ يَنْزِلْ فَعَلَيْكُمْ عِبَادَ اللَّهِ بِالدُّعَاءِ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ

Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2855
Narrated 'Abdullah:
"The Messenger of Allah (SAW) used to take care of us by preaching during the days fearing that we may get bored."
حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَتَخَوَّلُنَا بِالْمَوْعِظَةِ فِي الأَيَّامِ مَخَافَةَ السَّآمَةِ عَلَيْنَا . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .

Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2913
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:
that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "Indeed, the one who does not have the Qur'an inside him (his heart), is like the ruined house."
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ قَابُوسِ بْنِ أَبِي ظَبْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" إِنَّ الَّذِي لَيْسَ فِي جَوْفِهِ شَيْءٌ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ كَالْبَيْتِ الْخَرِبِ " . هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .

Narrated Muhammad bin Sirin:
"I don't think that a man who degrades Abu Bakr and 'Umar loves the Prophet (SAW)."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، قَالَ مَا أَظُنُّ رَجُلاً يَنْتَقِصُ أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ يُحِبُّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم . قَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ .

Narrated Al-Bara:
that the Prophet (SAW) saw Hasan and Husain, so he said: "O Allah, I love them, so love them."
حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ فُضَيْلِ بْنِ مَرْزُوقٍ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَبْصَرَ حَسَنًا وَحُسَيْنًا فَقَالَ
" اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أُحِبُّهُمَا فَأَحِبَّهُمَا " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .

Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah:
that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "The best house of the Ansar is Banu An-Najjar."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو السَّائِبِ سَلْمُ بْنُ جُنَادَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ، عَنْ مُجَالِدٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" خَيْرُ دِيَارِ الأَنْصَارِ بَنُو النَّجَّارِ " . هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ .

Narrated 'Adiyy bin Hatim:
that the Prophet (SAW) said: "The Jews are those who Allah is wrath with, and the Christians have strayed."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَبُنْدَارٌ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ حُبَيْشٍ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" الْيَهُودُ مَغْضُوبٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَالنَّصَارَى ضُلاَّلٌ " .
فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ بِطُولِهِ .
فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ بِطُولِهِ .

Narrated Anas:
that 'Umar bin Al-Khattab said: "O Messenger of Allah (SAW)! I wish that we could perform Salat behind the Maqam: So the following was revealed: And take you the Maqam of Ibrahim as a place of Salat. (2:125)."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ، قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَوْ صَلَّيْنَا خَلْفَ الْمَقَامِ فَنَزَلَتْ : (وَاتَّخِذُوا مِنْ مَقَامِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مُصَلًّى ) . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .

Sahih Muslim 1407 b
Malik narrated this hadith on the authority of the same chain of trans- witters that 'Ali b. Abil Talib said to a person:
You are a person led astray; Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) forbade us (to do Mut'a), as is stated In the hadith transmitted on the authority of Yahya b. Malik.
وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَسْمَاءَ الضُّبَعِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا جُوَيْرِيَةُ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ وَقَالَ سَمِعَ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، يَقُولُ لِفُلاَنٍ إِنَّكَ رَجُلٌ تَائِهٌ نَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم . بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ مَالِكٍ .

Sahih Muslim 1438 b
A hadith like this has been narrated on the authority of Habban with the same chain of transmitters (but with this alteration) that he said:
" Allah has ordained whom he has to createuntil the Day of judgment."
حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ، مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الزِّبْرِقَانِ، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى، بْنُ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ فِي مَعْنَى حَدِيثِ رَبِيعَةَ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ
" فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كَتَبَ مَنْ هُوَ خَالِقٌ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ " .

وَحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ، عَنِ اللَّيْثِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ، بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، كِلاَهُمَا عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ . مِثْلَهُ . وَفِي حَدِيثِ اللَّيْثِ مِنْ رِوَايَةِ ابْنِ رُمْحٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا مَسْعُودٍ .

Abu Huraira reported that two women fought-the rest of the hadith is the same but herein no mention has been made of:
He made her son and those who were with them her heirs. Someone said: Why should we pay blood-wit? And he did not name Hamal b. Malik.
وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي، سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ اقْتَتَلَتِ امْرَأَتَانِ . وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ بِقِصَّتِهِ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ وَوَرَّثَهَا وَلَدَهَا وَمَنْ مَعَهُمْ . وَقَالَ فَقَالَ قَائِلٌ كَيْفَ نَعْقِلُ وَلَمْ يُسَمِّ حَمَلَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ .
